When I booked an appointment for a facial, I spoke to the manager who assured me that the spa followed all protocols for covid safety. When I saw the aesthetician not wearing a mask, she told me she had a breathing problem and couldnt wear a mask or be vaccinated. She did wear a small, clear shield that didnt completely cover her nose or mouth.It was extremely foolish of me to not request another appointment, but I live rather far from the salon and had taken time off from work. So, I have three complaints: 1) the manager should have truthfully addressed my concern, 2) the aesthetician should have worn a mask, which I requested, and 3) the facial was definitely overpriced at $200 for one hour.

My fiancé and I truly enjoyed our couples massage. The moderate pressure applied from both therapist was just right and provided a much needed relaxing experience. The facility is very nice and everyone was friendly and professional. We will definitely be back. Thank you so much Karen and Lashundra for a great experience and making us feel way more relaxed than when we came in.

Wonderful spa, great therapists and a very relaxing environment. I usually arrive early to relax and get myself into a more zen mood in their relaxation room. As a mother, this feels like heaven where you get to retreat away from your daily responsibilities :). I recommend it to anyone who is in the area and wants to treat themselves.

The nail technician cut my cuticle during a pedicure and it started bleeding. It got infected and now I have to take antibiotics with a lot of side effects. Id recommend going somewhere else that cleans and sanitizes their equipment.

I was surprised with a trip here for my birthday. My spouse and I both got massages, facials, and pedicures.The area is clean and inviting, a very comfortable temperature. The womens locker room has customized code lockers, and enough space for all my clothes, shoes, jacket, and purse. The robe was luxuriously soft and thick enough to feel covered and cozy. There is soap and mouthwash in the locker room. There is also a shower in a separate, locked area of the locker room (complete with changing area) that has soap, shampoo, and conditioner. Slippers and robes are provided.The masseuse was very professional and focused on the places I hold stress. The facial was gentle, and left me feeling clean and calm. The pedicure was the gentlest Ive ever had. The water was a wonderful temperature, and I never felt tugs or pokes!My only issues: we were told to get dressed completely between the facial and the pedicure, only to be asked why we had done so when we were called for the actual pedicure. Also, I have several allergies - I completed the intake form and listed the ones I would likely run into in a spa (such as peppermint, aloe, and lanolin). However - no one had looked at my allergies before! It was only my last service, the pedicure, that mentioned my allergies to me (because the masseuse and aesthetician told her after my massage and facial). When we mentioned this to the front desk staff, they mentioned my account would be flagged... But whats the point of completing all that paperwork if no one reads it?

I procrastinated and didn’t try to book my birthday spa day until the Tuesday before my birthday on Friday. My go-to spas were completely booked. I found Woodhouse Day Spa thanks to a Google search (or was it divine intervention?). They were so kind when I booked an appointment for myself and two girlfriends and happily coordinated different packages to get us all set even at the last minute.Everything about our visit was delightful, from the beautiful and calming atmosphere to the complimentary champagne. My massage, facial and pedicure were perfect. By the time they were done with me, I felt like I had reached some alternate plane of Zen enlightenment. After our services were finished, we enjoyed quiet conversation and another glass of (complimentary) wine and decided we might just move in.I’ve found my new favorite spa! Thank you Woodhouse Day Spa for a perfect birthday. I feel refreshed, revived and ready to go back to the real world...if I must.

This is the most comprehensive spa experience in the area. Ive been here many times and I have always come out very relaxed and happy with my experience.The staff are very friendly kind and knowledgeable while also being very professional.The massage specialist and facial and manicure specialist are all extremely good at what they do and its hard for me to have a favorite because theyre all so very nice.Theres a solarium where you can wait after changing into the most comfy rope in the world and have a tea or glass of champagne before your massage and then go back again afterwards and rest a little bit before you have to enter back into the real world.Thats a nice place to go with friends and meet him between a massage and a pedicure.a gift card to this place would be a wonderful way to show how much you care about somebody. That was how I was introduced to this spa and I have been coming back ever since.

I enjoy my time here always I’ve visited the spa both here in Plano and also their location in El Paso. I enjoy the relaxation room and the whole experience. I always feel well taken care of. The only thing I didn’t like on my last visit at the Plano location was that the technician asked me if I wanted to change my massage from Swedish to deep tissue because he indicated that maybe more pressure would be more beneficial. I ended up agreeing since it felt convincing. But once I headed to pay at the register I saw that there was a price difference which I would have liked to have been made aware of previously.

I decided to try this location because I had tried the one in Detroit and loved it.I did the Illuminating Facial with Sue. She was so professional and left me with clean, glowing skin. They use great products, not too irritating and I have pretty sensitive skin.The service here is great. Front desk is very friendly and checks you in quickly.The spa itself is beautiful and you feel relaxed just walking in.Overall I enjoyed my experience and recommend anyone who needs a relaxing, stress free day to visit the Woodhouse.

** COVID NIGHTMARE & NOT WORTH THE PRICING **SHORT VERSION OVERALL MY EXPERIENCE:- Friendly Staff- Too Expensive for what you get- Possible cross over contamination while waiting for services- Definitely seemed to be more people than there should be- Inconvenience of moving items aroundLONGER VERSION EXPLAINEDI have been to various spa/massage business so this is not my first rodeo during COVID. I called ahead of time to ask about COVID precautionary measures as I wanted to make sure my elderly mother accompanying me was comfortable. I was told, people with multiple services will enjoy a relaxation room you can sit in and wait on your services to enjoy (I wish I asked more questions).The atmosphere is REALLY nice and every one is EXTREMLY friendly and helpful. So that will not be an issue. Here are my cons:1. We had 2 services and was given robes to change into as the locker room was not available to hold our stuff we had to carry our bags with us - not a big deal its COVID but just know you will luge your stuff around with you.2. The relaxation room was extremely AWKWARD! We were in there with both genders and many people who were in there regular clothes & so I assume they were in there for 1 service - it was uncomfortable for us.3. The relaxation room did not look sanitized in between people moving around, so it made me wonder why we couldnt leave our clothes inside the locker room..... since no one was sanitizing between people moving around it didnt make any sense to me.4. My massage wasnt worth the price you pay here, my facial was GREAT and she gave me a better massage than I actually got during my massage session.5. I was quoted one price over the phone and told another when we checked out. Although I corrected her she seemed a bit apprehensive about honoring my quoted price over the phoneFor the money you will spend here the staff is extremely friendly, but it also seems like everyone lingers after service for a tip. Which Im not use to when I go to expensive spas because I normally tip at check out. Who wants to be pestered about digging around looking for money after whats suppose to be a relaxing time .

Bad experience once, shame on them. Bad experience twice, shame on me for giving them another try. First time was due to front desk etc. They brought us back to make it right. Great. I decided to give them another try for a facial this time a year later. I am an esthetician myself and decided to treat myself. The girl was nice, but lots of miscommunication regarding what I thought I would get in my $300 facial. They tried to make it right again and bring me back for a 15 minute service....I won’t be going back. Don’t waste your money unless you just have loads of it to blow. If you want a good facial, there are plenty of spas that can achieve that for a fraction of the price. Spa Habitat, Massage Heights, etc. The only thing nice about this place is the relaxation room which isn’t worth all the extra money.

This place was unbelievable. I got a spa package that included a Swedish massage, organic facial, and pedicure and all three were so amazing. The complimentary mimosas were definitely a plus! I will definitely be back, from the impeccable employees to the competitive prices, no other spa can come close to as wonderful as this one.

Booked a therapeutic hot stone massage here from recommendations of the hotel I was staying at. It was by far the best massage I have ever had. Gina was perfect! I really like The Woodhouse Day Spa in Plano. The atmosphere and music are very relaxing. The staff generally put me to sleep with their soothing facials and massages. I always leave feeling totally refreshed. The Woodhouse Spa is in a wonderful location, Shops at Legacy, where you can have a great meal and/or see a movie before or after the treatment.I also depend on a number of skin products from The Woodhouse. So it is my go-to-place for lavishing myself.

Amazing, Beautiful, the most relaxing massage experience. I got the 50 min. special massage for pregnant women- it was wonderful. I have been very uncomfortable laying down in any position lately, but during the massage I felt like I could lay there forever. The room for resting before and after your procedure is- phenomenal- so peaceful and relaxing. I sat in there for an hour after the massage which was another great experience on its own.The only reason I gave this place 4 stars instead of 5 is because it is very expensive in my opinion- in total I paid about $130 for a 50 min. massage- pretty steep for me, but I guess there are a lot of people willing to pay that and more for this experience so this place is still in business and seems to be doing very well.

I️ have done many spa days at many different places and unfortunately this was my least favorite place. Nice place, friendly staff and mimosas are always a plus however, was not impressed at all with my services. My massage therapist seemed very confused when I️ told her my hips and shoulders were tight if she could focus extra on those areas during my full body massage and she failed to do so. The “deep tissue” massage my boyfriend purchased for me was very light even after I️ asked for more pressure. The start of the appointment me and my mother took 30 min to fill out paperwork that they therapists failed to read. Had no idea what either of us had put and thought my mom was a previous client of theirs when this was her first spa experience ever. My body wrap included a scrub down with a metal device that felt like it was just scratching my whole body, followed my a massage that felt like she was just pushing up and down on my skin. The facial was impressive. My pedicure chipped the weekend I️ got it done. I️ would recommend other spas in Plano over this place any day.

Omg - years ago when one wanted a facial you either went to Georgette Klinger or The Red Door - the staff went thru a tremendous “schooling” before they were allowed to actually give a facial - and what a facial you received!!! Then everyone started giving facials and it became a lost art ...until you get one from Sue at the Woodhouse Spa!!!! If it was possible to give ten stars I would. If you want to know/experience a real facial RUN to this place and enjoy!!! I am back to getting my monthly facials!!!!

I won a gift certificate to the Woodhouse Day Spa. I had two massages and two different times. What a wonderful experience! It was so relaxing that I fell asleep. I was embarrassed, but the woman who gave me a massage said that was a really good compliment! I would recommend this Spa to everyone!

After a sweet friend raved about the Woodhouse Fort Worth location, I just had to see what all the fuss was about. The Plano location is about a 45 minute drive for me, but Im in the area frequently for shopping & dining. I was also told that three new locations are in the works... Flower Mound, Frisco & Mckinney (even closer!)!I have 21-month-old twins, so if I was going to the spa, I was gonna do it right. I reserved a 110 minute Swedish Massage & the Warm Agave Nectar Manicure. After being greeted and escorted to the Womens Dressing Room, I changed into a soft & silky robe and headed to the Quiet Room, where a chilled mimosa and spa snacks were waiting for me. Gina was my massage therapist and after asking all the initial questions about pressure and problem areas, she left me to get comfortable. This was probably the second best massage Ive ever had (aboard the Disney Wonder being the first). I like moderate pressure and this was absolutely perfect.I asked her to concentrate on my neck and lower back, and while she worked out quite a number of knots in my neck & shoulders, I felt like my low back missed out on some love. The majority of the massage seemed to concentrate on my legs, but as a long-distance runner, I can definitely appreciate this. Im not incredibly sore today like I have been with other massages, so Gina is my new go-to gal.Nichole was my nail technician and was super sweet. Her conversation and attention to detail was spot on and I would absolutely recommend her if your hands need a little love. I dont think Ive had a more perfect paint job on my nails. Two perfectly polished thumbs up!Services are a bit on the pricey side, but this is well worth it if its a once-in-a-while occasion, like it is for me. Ill certainly be back and cant wait for the next visit!

They didnt respond to my comment about my $65 polish chipping SAME day and when I followed up 8 days later they still didnt care! New update: July 14, 2018Sunday, July 1, I had my complementary Minkyti Facial. The experience was better. The Aesthetician Ms. Sarah took her time with examining, and massaging my face. While the masks were penetrating she also massaged my arms, and hands, and shoulders. Personally, I enjoy medium pressure, and therefore didn’t think enough pressure was applied. I had asked if she could increase the pressure, which she did. In general the service was more fitting.If you are living/visiting the Plano area I recommend this place to pamper yourself, for not only is the customer service superb, but the owner Ms. Robin and her staff will do their upmost best to make their customers happy.Changed it from 1 to 3 starsUpdate: June 12, 2018On Tuesday, May 29, 2018 Ms. Robin, the owner of The Woodhouse in Plano, contacted me to discuss the below mentioned issue.Ms. Robin made two attempts to get in contact with me, and I appreciate it. I hope this experience will be more pleasant than the previous.Minkyti facial = The Woodhouse Signature Facial $195.00A brief overview of the above mentioned facial, it is a luxury facial that consist of deep cleansing, masks, a back, face, neck, shoulders, arms, and hands massage(s). While each mask is penetrating you should receive a back, neck, and shoulder massage.I have had this facial several times at The Woodhouse Day Spa for at the Greene in Beavercreek, Ohio. It was luxurious, and a wonderful experience every time. The aesthetician, Ms. Melissa, was beyond great. She managed to get me so relaxed, because after each mask application she would massage one or more of the areas mentioned above. While each mask is penetrating you should receive a back, neck, and shoulder massage.At the Woodhouse in Plano however this so called luxurious facial wasn’t great nor luxurious. It started out okay however, my face was deeply cleansed, got a facial massage, and the masks were applied, but what can really go wrong with that?The disappointment started after I had received the second mask, shorty after the application the aesthetican, Ms. Suk tried to massage my arms and hands, but was not successful, because instead of massaging these areas she just applied oil/lotion on them. I can do this myself at home. Further more, after each mask application Ms. Suk should have massaged the above mentioned areas (except arms), unfortunately this only happened during the penetration of the first mask. Then, after the seaweed mask application (which I believe was penetrating for approximately 15 minutes) instead of massaging me, she pushed the seaweed strips/pieces down on my face repeating this motion approximately every minute or so. The entire time I was tense instead of relaxed. Finally, this a 80 minute facial turned into a 70 minute facial. I was so disappointed. That when the friendly cashier/customer service asked about my experience I shared my concerns, unfortunately her only recourse was to apologize.Since this is the Woodhouse Spa’s Signature Facial you would think that the process be standardized across all The Woodhouses.

This is my go to spa!! I alway treat myself to a 90 minute massage for my birthday and it is always great to unwind and recharge. I also had the honey pedicure which was amazing. Cant wait to go again!! The pre-session snacks and wine are always a relaxing touch. The massages at Woodhouse are so relaxing that I ALWAYS fall asleep (LOL). Well worth every penny!

Woodhouse Day Spa is my favorite spa. Treatments are always great. Even though it has been a few years since my last appointment before last week, the quality has not changed. I like that they offer treatments that are different from other spas like the Shirodhara & the Soma. I did the Soma recently & the Shirodhara in the past. It was great.

I was promised a refund - so far nothing! I hope her word is better than her spa! Although it is more like an overpriced shower running while you listen to the sound of the drain. Get burned from the water and have towels dripping all over you while laying on a hard table.Horrible Experience - once I get my refund I will take this down but I would not waste my money at this unprofessional dump!!!

I go to The Woodhouse Spa as often as I can for various different treatments. I love all of the ladies there and always have a great experience.

If you love facials try the hydrafacial,I have hyper pigmentation and it works very well for it.Suk is amazing always tell me which cleansers to use for my specific skin type,I also had a back neck and shoulder massage with Lory while she does have a different style I feel my kinks worked out each time, she focused on my issues I have with my back and even showed me some cool techniques to try at home.I recommend the woodhouse the girls are fantastic and my skin is getting better with each visit.The woodhouse is worth a try in my book envy,green,heights have nothing good but fast and hard membership sales,they dont do that here:O
