This is the BEST place to take clothes in for alterations. I was stressed about a bridesmaid dress not fitting and they worked their magic so quickly and well. The dress fits like it was made for me now. I had the best experience with them and they were so accommodating to my needs. Plus its a family run business! 10/10

I found a great Pendleton wool sweater thrift shopping but unfortunately it had a hole right in the front. I called made an appointment and brought it in the next day. I needed to repair a defective dress which I had bought online. Took it to the Westside alterations and lovely ladies did a great job making the dress look perfect. Also, my order was completed much earlier than expected, and the cost was very reasonable.

They were incredibly professional and incredibly gifted. I was a little horrified when they told me theyd have to take my coat and not let me just sit there while they mended it. It was cold and raining outside, and I thought Id be out there for hours. But they finished in under a half an hour and texted me right away, and when I got back to the shop, they said that they did it so fast because they imagined me out there freezing in the cold and they just couldnt stand the thought of me being out there. They were so sweet. The only trouble was, the zipper messed up again when I got home. But when I called and asked about it, I was told that I could bring it in the next day and they would fix it free of charge. This time they told me ahead of time to bring a second jacket so I could leave it there and they could have time to really focus on fixing it, lol. All in all, a very pleasant experience. I appreciated the communication, it was there every step of the way. And I love that it was mostly texting. Very modern, and the way that I prefer to communicate. And Amy and Son were so lovely. It was my first experience as a grown up with alterations people. Definitely a positive one! Quality people and quality work!

I showed up with a two-piece wedding dress. The top was too large and needed to be altered and I only had 2 days before leaving for my wedding. The tailor did an amazing job and exceeded expectations by getting the job done in just 24 hours. Not to mention it was very affordable! This is now my go-to West Seattle location for tailor and dry cleaning service.

I take my pants and anything I need hemmed or tailored to Sun. Shes very friendly and her work always looks great. She has received many Seattle Awards and it shows why. This was a suit coat I just got tailored and it fits me perfectly. Ill continue coming to Westside alteration in the future :)

All I have had hemmed are jeans here and I pay a bit extra for the hem to look like they are original (thread/stitch). They always look original and last just like original. Great service, I wouldnt hesitate to take anything there to be altered.

Quick accurate work for very reasonable price. My brother and I had to get our dress pant cuffs extended for a wedding and we needed the work done ASAP. West Side Alterations was able to make the changes in time to support the wedding and charged a very reasonable price. I will be going back for more work soon!

Sun has always been super helpful and affordable. I took her at least a dozen shirts last winter and she was efficient and skilled. I had a couple that werent taken in enough that she fixed for me for free. She does quality work without charging an arm and a leg

They are AMAZING! There were some good and bad reviews which worried me a little. I ended up using them to alter my wedding dress anyway. They were super friendly, inexpensive, and quick. My dress fits perfectly and was alerted flawlessly! A great west seattle business Id definitely recommend them to friends and family!

Sun Kim has been extremely helpful in an urgent need for a quick alteration. She was able to turn my uniform around in under 2 hours. Offered me a military rate for my uniforms and extends the offer to police. I will do all my upcoming alterations at Westside alterations.

Please beware. This woman ruined a brand new dress bought for my sons wedding. When I expressed my dismay she just kept saying she didnt know how this had happened. This was not a high school Home Economics class, this was a business!! It could not be fixed, even if I had taken it to someone else. Unfortunately, I had to get another dress.

Warning, your stuff may be ruined. They are nice enough, but damaged my pretty expensive wool suits. I’m not sure if it was the chemicals or the ironing setting. They also just were not ironed well, really sloppy looking. I will never go here again.
