John is the best nail designer Ive ever had. His style is very natural, hes very detailed and takes his sweet time... in a good way. Aarons good too.

They have walls and walls of colors - floor to ceiling! Including gel shellac, dip powder, and regular nail polish. Had to get my nails redone from a different place and they were very careful to take care of my thin collagen. My first time there. And will definitely be going back! I had Alice do my Mani and she was meticulous and a perfectionist. Will be requesting her again! ❤️

I specifically ask for Veve for the art she paints on my nails. I bring an inspiration piece or an idea and Veve is a nail Michaelangelo.

Ive been coming to Luxy for the past 5+ years (on/off) when Im back home in Plano (I move around a lot for school). I always remember why I love this salon so much, each time I return. Luxy always has the BEST customer service; they truly care about their clients!Since the COVID-19 pandemic, theyve enforced masks for both clients and technicians. They even require customers to wash their hands prior to any service. This truly makes for a more safe and clean environment that Im sure everyone appreciates.I usually get dip powder on my natural nails + a spa pedicure. My last visit was special - I brought my boyfriend for his first pedicure and he LOVED it. Thank you Luxy for making this a fun/funny experience for the both of us! Haha :)Staff is top-notch, products are top of the line! By far, the best salon in Plano! I highly recommend.

When you walk-in (by the way they take walk-ins) they immediately greet you and get you to your person. Everyone seems to enjoy working there and they are so friendly and quick to add you into the conversation. Before you know it, your nails and toes are shining like brand new and youre out the door feeling great!

I went in to get a fresh set of nails, they sent me to a man that had no clue on what to do. I even showed him a picture of what I wanted he promised me that he could achieve the look I showed him. During the process of him doing my nails i did let him know that it was incorrect. He said it was correct. I am very disappointed with the services I received from the guy and the owner of the shop. I really hate that I had to even give them one star :(

With any place that provides a service, it is important to make an appointment! I stumbled onto this place two years ago and have yet to go anywhere else! I love the staff and the service I receive! I dont trust anyone else doing my nails. I appreciate that they take the time to be perfectionist instead of rushing through my services to fit walk-ins in. Im sorry, but they really appreciate their loyal customers and I love it!

I came here with Aaron because my friend told me his good. I got here and had him do my nails holographic and a couple sugared. He chose the colors. At the end when he was done the colors were so off and the holographic has holes of back dots in it. I was charged $100 for this they told me to come back the next day to change the color if I diddnt like. I came back the next day and they gave me such attitude they told me I can’t do the sugar anymore and that I need to pay more if I want to change the colors. How can they deny a service they messed up and can’t even fix it with what the customer wants? I’m very disappointed. I won’t be returning. Save your money and go somewhere else

Scheduled an appointment with John and he was great! The place was a bit hard to find so I was behind a little but they did not fuss and understood. Very sweet and professional staff and will definitely be going back!

I absolutely love this place!! I have been going for 5 or 6 years now. When I first started getting my nails done because is next gen I tried a few different places until I came here. I love the staff and they do an amazing job. Any of my friends that go with me end up making this place their salon as well. I live in Allen so there are closer places to go but I wont change!!

I’ve been coming here for years! I almost always make an appointment... I called the day before to make an appointment at 1pm, when I showed up they sat me down and then another lady had been booked at the same time, for the same guy. Nobody said anything I say there for almost 20 minutes and got up and left. I felt as a customer that comes here for years and always bring new people with me... this was hands down disrespectful!! I’ll be going out of town, without my nails done. Even was willing to come in later, but he wasn’t available!!!!!! Disappointed in the customer service....

I will never go here again. I spent $90 at this place for my nails to last less than 7 days. I currently have three nails on that have not been chip, broken of or cracked. I have a desk job and there is no reason my nails should look the way they do. This is by far the worst nail place I have been too. Do not try it!

The initial experience was nice as far as the people. They made me feel comfortable. The initial look of my nails were ok but i left to go out of the country and not even a week after getting my nails done they begin to just pop off..i had to get the rest removed bc it looked bad with some on and some off

Ive been going here since they opened. John and Stephanie are awesome. They are far from rude. I have never seen them refuse services to anyone. They may ask you to come back an hour later but thats when they are extremely busy and anyone with common sense will see that. Nor have they ever stolen money, I dont see how that is when they are going into your wallet right in front of you and putting it back in front of you. And for the comment who said they spent $1500, thats ridiculous. I have never spent more than $80 here and thats with my feet and nails done with ombré or a design. I love this place. My nails last over two weeks and if a nail breaks due to me being rough with my hands, they fix it for free.

The entire staff is very outgoing, welcoming. Including the owner hes been doing my nails for over 10 years. Pricing is great 👍🏽

Great nails! I love the Next Gen nails and the owners will usually get you in as a walk in but I started making appointments because they are growing and only have so many people they can see at a visit. The owners are very helpful and accommodating.

The staff here is amazing! I feel welcomed every time I come. Ive been a customer for 2 years. Everyone does a good job here. Today Aaron did my nails and he did a fabulous ombré job!

The lady who did my nails was great but the man who did my pedicure did not do a great job and it was $45. It was a very basic pedicure, left with calluses still, he got up to check people out 6 times and there was zero massage, just rubbing oil into my legs....

If you go there, ask for John. He is a professional in manicure :)

Went to Luxy on May 25th to get a full ombré set. Hailey (not sure if I’m spelling her name right) was really nice & sweet and took her time on my nails. Today is June 5th (not even a full 2 weeks) and I’ve had 2 nails come off and one very painfully crack. I’d definitely not recommend this place to anyone. My nails shouldn’t be cracking, lifting or breaking like they are currently. My nails look like they’ve been on for 3-4 weeks, even though it’s not even been 2 weeks. I was planning to come back because everyone was nice, but I will definitely not be going back.

Never again.Its too bad that *most* of the nail techs here are good. But the extreme disregard for appointments and rude attitude is unforgivable.We have come here many many times.2 weeks ago my mom, sister and I made appointments and were left waiting for over 30 minutes before anyone got to us. We let it go because we were all hanging out. That same day I had the worst manicure ever. The guy that did it didnt fill all the way down and it just looked sloppy and didnt last at all...Well...this place is near my moms house and usually good so here we go again...Today I made an appointment for myself (polish change only) and my mom (pedicure and polish change) at 4:45. I walked in at 4:45 exactly. I got colors for myself and my mom and she walked in a couple of minutes later. I sat down and waited. And waited and waited...I had allocated one hour before i had to be back. Just for a polish change.After 45 mins of nothing I finally left. Whats even worse is after 35 minutes when I told John, the owner and one who had taken my appt and told me where to go, that I couldnt wait any longer as it had been 35 mins he told me I came 20 mins late. Lol. That was just not true and so rude. So No apologies at all and tell me Im lying? No attempt to make it right. I get it if youre busy or overbooked(although why even give us an appt???) But a good business will make things right. He didnt care that I walked out because they are busy!I would never recommend this place.There are many many many better and more respectful nail salons around. I guess they forget that we are paying them?What a waste of time...

I sat for 20 minutes before getting acknowledged. When they finally spoke to me, she rudely asked me did I have an appointment. I said no. She proceeds to tell me they are completely booked. I just walked out. It would have been nice to know that 20 mins ago. Its a business. You got to have good customer service skills.

Looking for rough edges that snag on clothes, this is your place. Want uneven nails, come here. Want to spend money and leave worse than you entered, bring it here. Have a star because they were funny. Nothing funny about their craft... They are not good at nails. Except John, thats it.

Only a few people can actually do nails at this place. Typically I get my nails done by John, who is apparently one of the owners at the shop. Today, I had an appointment with John but someone else did my nails as John serviced another customer (I had an appointment) . They were horrible . Needless to say, John offered someone else to do my nails, I refused. By this time I’m already upset because I have wasted my time getting a horrible pedicure and nex gen set of nails. I do not recommend this place because they overbook, lack of / poor customer service, and poor workmanship.

2nd time here. Horrible experience. I had a manicure and pedicure. The pedicure was really bad. The polish did not set and it smeared when I got in my car. The manicure was even worse. The man said this is 2nd week here. He burned me multiple times and left multiple cuts. I kept jumping and he would say sorry, then continue. My nails look terrible and I’m out $80. Please do not come here. It’s terrible and they really do not care

I tried this shop because I was in the area. Terrible experience. They refused to re-do my ombré in acrylic because they only like the way ombré looks with nexgen powder so I had no choice but to do a soak off. The set turned out terrible & the tech didn’t even wipe all the dusts off my hands & nails when he finished, he just told me he was done & I could pay at the register. The girl at the register was obviously annoyed by it because she offered to clean me up & to apply cuticle oil because he hasn’t done it. Needless to say, my set didn’t last long & Ill never go back to this shop.

I usually have my go to nail salon but they were closed this particular day. Never again will I go here the person who did my nails was in such a hurry he left my edges very sharp and didn’t even bother to clean out my nail cuticles before putting on my acrylic nails like they usually always do, I was charged twice as much then I usually pay at my go to nail salon and hated my nails!!!

So Ive been to Luxy nails a few times now and I tried another place with a friend for her special occasion. I was satisfied so I went back to the other place only to completely REGRET EVER LEAVING LUXY NAILS. The other place could not do a simple floral design and the design tech had horrible customer service skills. I immediately called Luxy nails and spoke with Vy...she had done designs on my nails previously and has NEVER disappointed. I asked her to do her thing and she left me smiling. Yes they are just nails but we all go for that extra cherry on top of our look and we typically want what we ask for...Vy ALWAYS puts you at ease, listens to what you want and is quick to redo it if you even hint you dont like it. Ive even said I dont know what I want and she still did the cutest design. I never write reviews but i had to compliment her for this, she is fantstic.

Overall my experience was ok, but it was leaning towards bad. The first time I went I got a pedicure with my mom it was fine so I went again to get nexgen that was ok but it broke a week later so it’s not really durable. The next time I went I got my nails done again and it was fine nothing bad happened so I thought it was just that one experience. The next time I got it it was fine until they started filing the nails they were all different sizes and they filed the sides till it started bleeding. I DONT RECCOMEND GOING TO THEM AT ALL! Just be warned if you come out with crooked nails.

Stephanie is the QUEEN of NexGen! She introduced me to NexGen and Ive been addicted ever since! Her and John run the salon, have a friendly staff and exceptional service each and every time! Ive had insane amounts of compliments on my nails thanks to Luxy Nails! I always recommend them to anyone looking to get out of the acrylic terror zone, and try NexGen with them! Dipping powder which has completely natural feel! The best part is my nails stay shiny for weeks!!
