Let me start off by saying this is not a professional business, I went for a oil change and the woman who did my oil change had a nasty attitude from the beginning, I asked a question and it was like they didnt want my business, I know these employees work hard but having the attitude she had is not acceptable anywhere. For now on I just know not to come here for anything.

I have been to dozens of Valvoline and Jiffy Lube locations all over MA and NH for both work vehicles and personnel vehicles. The North Reading Valvoline stands out, the staff are super friendly and put in great notes every visit. They give my dog tons of treats and attention when we are in the bay. They have given my kids coloring books and popsicles. Highly recommend.

This shop is unkind and not honest. Id not recommend. Without asking me they sealed oil fan. I had to spend $500 to fix that. They fastened tire air cap too tight and I could not open it again and had to remove them. Ill never go there

These guys are outstanding. Super professional and communicative. Ive been to a number of different Valvolines over the years but this one is far and away the best that Ive been to.

Staff was professional and efficient. In and out in under 20 mins; whats not to love? A great thing about Valvoline is that if youre burning oil and need to top off before youre due for an oil change, you can just pull in and theyll take care of it for free, and top off other fluids as well. Might be faster to just keep oil in the trunk and diy, but its worth noting for those who are unable or uncomfortable with adding oil to the engine.

Love this location. Honestly, all locations. The staff here is extremely friendly and professional. The line goes quickly and they have quality service. I’m just impressed by how great all the staff members are- they are either trained really well or the management knows how to hire friendly, knowledgeable, hard-working people!

I have frequented this location a dozen times over the past several years so I am quite used to the high pricing and the way they try to sell you things you dont need. But today, the young man checking me in at my bay was rude. He even talked bad about me to the guys working on my car. Pretentious and condescending. He wouldnt even stick the reminder sticker on my window. I will never subject myself to this kind of treatment again no matter how convenient their over priced oil is. Firestone across the street has my exclusive business now. The treatment of a customer who regularly pays between $70- $100 is worth trying to keep over his ego. He does not have the integrity of the company as a priority. To complain that a little dust fell out of the engine filter when I turned it upside down and asked me if Im going to clean it up. Never again.

Quick and efficient but they put Synthetic Maxlife oil in a car with 20,000 miles. That oil is for cars with over 75,000 miles. I think they did it just to charge more. Will not go back.

Brought my car here recently and they told me that they only had full synthetic oil available for my car. I felt like it was some kind of BS answer for them to charge me more.

Best. Service. Ever. Made an appointment elsewhere and 45 minutes later they still hadnt put my car on the lift. Came to Valvoline and they greeted me with a smile, a handshake and professional service. Oil change was done quickly and each person I spoke with was beyond professional and cordial. These people make you feel comfortable and do a good job quickly.One time they even went out of their way to drive me to the auto part store to help me get a part. They even replaced it for me free of charge (a cheap but important part that had a massive oil leak in it).These people are great and I always go here!

Had and oil change here they never sealed my oil filter cap. Oil was spilling all the time my engine was miss firing almost needed a new one. Unprofessional staff

The team does a good job diagnosing the problem and offers good pricing to fix it. Good customer service and accurate times quoted when it comes to finishing the job. I have gone to other places to get a 2nd opinion/ price but always end up going back as they havent been beat.

I was just refused service by the manager, Matt after putting my keys on the dashboard in plain sight of everyone and not in a black box as he insisted. This after I had just had gotten an oil change 20 minutes earlier on a different vehicle with no incident. During the first trip, they didnt even ask me to put the keys in a black box.I had been getting my oil changed here for years. NO LONGER... This escalation was completely unwarranted and unprofessional. This team needs to better education on customer service.

My family and I have been bringing our vehicles (six cars) to this shop for over almost twenty years and have enjoyed the service. Recently I came in for my regular service and found new faces waiting on me.Unfortunately the friendliness and attention to detail was sorely missing. The woman who greeted me was impolite and disrespectful. I asked to speak to the manager to tell him of my displeasure. He made excuses for her behavior and told me that “we are a high volume store “. I am not sure how that excuses being rude and discourteous. I can assure you your “high volume” business just lost six customers.

2 quarts of oil short? We realized this after 1k miles, car us 3 years old does NOT burn oil and has NO leaks. Drove for 1 hour and an hour back on 2 quarts.. stiker said we had thoussnds of miles left before next oil change.. u guys should be ashamed i would have sued the hell out of u and no one checked the dipstick after filling. 5 minutes to put the air fikter back on should have been a sign.. and i dont care to hear back from. a manager.. ur just trying to save face so no excuses please.. ur bad reveiws are horrible ur first huga majority of 5 star rating are all fake i looked up most of the accounts.. u should have a 2.3 rating .. nice job on that. If u have 2 excuse for your bums half filling our tank for almost 80$ for 2 quarts and an oil fikter that also needed to be tightened.. well go tell someone who cares.

Usually I dont have any issues at Valvoline. I usually go to Woburn but this is my 2nd time at this location. The first time last summer was great. This one....not so much. The guy helping me was less than friendly. No smile. Nothing more than the bare minimum. Mumbled the whole time. Obviously not happy at his job. Usually they offer me a coupon or ask if I have one, I did and had to tell him that AFTER he gave me a total. I told him my tire light was still on, he said it stays on for 2 miles. No guy, it doesnt. It goes off as soon as all 5 tires are the same (spare included). I have done this more than once. So he didnt know even his facts, even after I said that when I do it thats not the case. But Im a girl, so I must not know - thats how I felt. Needless to say, my tire light is STILL on 24 hours later. I will not be returning to this location.

Overpriced oil change. Was way too expensive. Do not go to a valvoline they will over charge you. Other place get them done for a lot less. You can get 2 or 3 oil changes for what these guys charge.

Faaaaaaaaaast! I was in and out in less than 10 minutes! How can you top that?

I brought my Mazda CX-5 in to the North Reading, MA Valvoline Service for an oil change on April 7, 2017. After 5000 miles I just had it changed at the Mazda dealership where I bought the vehicle. When they changed the oil they found the oil gasket missing and the oil plug was only hand tightened. IF this cars engine had seized due to lack of oil, this North Reading Company would be in serious trouble. I DO NOT recommend anyone go to the North Reading Valvoline Service Center for any service.

Valvoline should be ashamed of themselvesMy daughter, who admittedly should have done her reaserch before hand went to North Reading Valvoline for an oil change, in her 2008 Acura she recently purchased. She entered the bay, and she said she needed an oil change. They asked sythtic or regular, which she did not know the answer to. She called me and asked. I said I did not know, and needed to do some reasearch on it, and to tell them she would return after doing so. She called me back, & said they already drained her oil. I said let me do some reasearch, and call back By the time I called her back, they had told her she needed synthetic, and had already done the oil change, & charged her $85. Turns out, She did not need synthetic, and she could have gotten a regular oil change, which was $42 I called Midas next door, who said the same synthetic oil change would be $60, or $20 for regular oil So I figured I would advise the N.R. community and surrounding towns to avoid this unscrupulous buisness. If you are unknowlegeable going in, they will take you to the cleaners.

I went to have my routine oil change on this location, Main St North Reading Ma. I was actually in a great mood before I asked the woman her name is KATHY, about if theres a special discount going on, her response is sorry, you should have told before I rang your bill, She cant do anything now. I told her Lisa used to give it to me regardless I mentioned it or not because I AM A REGULAR CUSTOMER here. Well she stucked to her reasoning that I should have mentioned it to her before. Well I told her to my DISGUST, I wont be back, and I will tell my boyfriend and my friends to stay away from you. I take a car and a van on a regular basis, and my BF takes a truck and kept recommending this place to anyone I know and I work with.
