I’m not the type of person to leave reviews but I had to share my experience. This is only my families experience and I’m sure everyone experience will be different. I lived at this community for 2 years. I would NOT recommend to move into this community. The floors and walls are very thin and you can hear every step from your upstairs neighbors upstairs. Do NOT live on the first floor your life will be miserable. The noise is a sound that you won’t be able to sleep through it woke us up and I had to sleep with noise canceling headphones. The community was better when I first moved in but has gone downhill every since. I never experienced any crime but many neighbors had their car broken into but that is common in apartments. Not the type to complain about money but be prepared to pay about $400-$600 on move-out to replace the carpet and other miscellaneous charges. The price to lease is not worth all the other headache that you will experience in this community. We are a military family and decided to move in family housing and are quality of life has improved. Take my review as my experience, but please talk to other people before you decide to lease because all my neighbors had the same thoughts.
If I could leave negative stars for this complex I would!!! My husband recently moved out. A week later they sent us a bill in the mail. I have no complaints that we owed them money for repairs. My complaint is that we went to their office to pay it with a cashiers check. The Manager opened the door and took the check and said he would take care it. Now over a month later we are getting harassed by a collection agency that we owe money. They are even going above and beyond to call my place of business for payment when it was already paid!!!!
Entire time I have lived here we haven’t had any issues until this morning I woke up and saw that someone had gotten into my car and took a couple things. Tried writing on the bulletin board to aware the neighbors but my post keep disappearing so I decided to post here instead 🙂 so beware and cautious that there are some broke thieves around! Hope you all never have to experience being uncomfortable in your own living environment.
Lived here for over a year now and have had nothing but good experiences. Gorgeous view. Stephanie at the front desk is so patient and helpful with all the residents, she’s the best. Thanks for all you guys do to make our home feel special’
Left the apartment spotless, they still found enough stuff to keep my security deposit. Youll see for yourself
Luxurious lifestyle, always a pleasure to walk here and enjoy the lake view whilst having a barbeque on the premises. Friendly staff and neighbors. Fun swimming pool times. Gym is great with just enough equipment for those weight-loss goals. Time sufficient with repairs. Leave the front gate open, dont bother me 🤣🤣
I moved into my apartment 1 June 2020, and with any move in there are things that show up after your inspection. The Staff at Springs at May Lake have been nothing short of Outstanding. I had a refrigerator that was noisy, and Stephanie took my request and placed in the Maintenance Request log while I stood there, and then Shalya then followed up on a phone call to me that the motor was on order and would be fixed within 2 weeks. The refrigerator was fixed within 10 days, all in the same month of June. I have since then had a couple other minor things that have popped up, like my movers dinged the paint and the corner round coming up the stairs. The could have easily said it was my responsibility. But Maintenance was able to make the two minor repairs for me.The Staff is great, and it is all about how you, as the resident make requests. As I have mentioned, both Stephanie and Shayla have called me directly, to provide a status update on my repair requests and also for other things that I have asked of them, during my short residency. I appreciate everyone that I have come in contact with at Springs at May Lakes and my neighbors are great. Thank you, Bill
Paid rent before time every month also paid last two months of rent and water with trash bill in April. We charged a move out fee and more water and trash yet again. We cleaned apartment when we left and was charged a cleaning fee also. The noise from upstairs would not let us sleep as well as the smoking of weed bothered us. The management team has two faces they hammered us for the weed when we don’t smoke. My husband could have lost his job because of the weed. They do not care about their tenants. I never had anyone make more charges when in the last rent I added to the rent to cover the trash and water. They have impeded with our quite life style. All we wanted was the neighbors to be more courtesy then they were. The garage stank to high heaven when we moved in they never removed the smell. I guess we have to pay even for the last tenants mess.
I’ve been a resident here for about 4 years now! Love my apartment, the friendly neighbors and the community amenities that are available. The girls are always very helpful in the leasing office whenever I need to stop by. They even do nice things for their residents such as “resident of the month” where they brought lunch to my job as appreciation. I’ve enjoyed my time here at Springs at May Lakes!
I drive by this apartment often. Love the view. Wish I could move in here 😪 😍.
Don’t waste your money moving here. Horrible management!
I’m not happy in my apartment, I wish I’d never moved here. My downstairs neighbor plays loud music all day long, I’ve called the police three times and still nothing has changed. I never get any rest and no one has done a thing to change it. I can’t wait till my lease is up.
Beautiful pleasant atmosphere, comfortable and relaxing with nice amenities. Clean, no trash or dog poop, well maintained. Dog friendly.Great Management.
The downfall are the following: the gate never works- I think they need to replace the whole thing and invest in something of more durable quality. Residents do not respect the garbage dumpster area and are not held accountable for following the rules. Walls are generally thinner than your average apartment complex. The pool has issues very often and on beautiful days it was closed for repair. However -the layout are beautiful you get a lot of square footage for the price, staff are very helpful and have great customer service, amenities are a sweet deal, and it’s a safe comfortable neighborhood with easy access to a lot of places and major interstate roads.
Very calm, very professional.Office has been quick to responses for maintenance.Rent has stayed the same throughout the year per contract, but other amenities change throughout the months. Would recommend.
I love that they hold my packages for me during the holidays, it has made my holiday shopping much more convenient. The office girls are so friendly and the events they always put together are so much fun - I wish more people would attend so I could meet more of my neighbors since I am not from here! I am in love with my apartment and am very pleased overall.
I am a Disabled Combat Veteran, and proud to have served, Amber Kirkland/Leasing Associate and Management warmly welcomed me to Springs at May lakes an exquisitely beautiful complex at the beginning of the Year. I am still very excited to be part of this community, as this is my home. Springs at May Lakes is the only one that I have experienced to holding events and allowed the neighborhood to come together and joining into groups with like interest and sharing in the fun. I have not had any problems that had not been remedied expeditiously by Management and staff which is very much a big plus through out my living here. I Love living here as it has been very comfortable and safe and so many exciting community events to join in on. It has made me strongly think to continue to reside here and continue to be a part of this community.
Beautiful apartment for a fair price. The people at the front office are always helpful and friendly! The maintenance team is quick and seem like genuinely nice people.I’ve lived here for almost a year and haven’t had anything break or malfunction because I’m pretty sure all the appliances are new.Great place to live!
Springs at May Lakes is a wonderful place to live, my husband and I have been here for almost 3 years. We have loved calling this place home.Very doggy friendly. Has two dog parks on site and a dog wash station, which has proved itself handy when the faucet is turned on (its often off so that it cannot be used)Apartments are nice, maintenance is usually very quick to respond and fix a problem. Only issue is that its a gated community, however the gates are open all the time and people drive quickly through the community.Still very highly recommended by me.
I did a one year lease and they were the best apartments I have lived in yet! They were always clean and well maintained. Of course some problems here and there but the maintenance staff always came out to my unit and fixed it very quickly. Very dog friendly! Helps that there is a dog park in the complex. A great place to meet other residents with dogs. I do miss my apartment there, and if I were to go back living In apartments I would choose them again!
Lived here 1.5 years and am more than happy! Great living space and neighbors. Also has the best maintenance staff ive ever experienced in an apartment complex. Cody and Tyler have consistently gone above and beyond to meet our maintenance needs. That includes routinely checking in and making sure previous issues stayed resolved.
Ive only been here a month but the experience has been great. Super nice apartments. In a great neighborhood. And Affordable! There was a problem with an initial charge to my account and as soon as I brought it up, it was immediately remedied by Shayla. Staff is always friendly when I step in the clubhouse. Maintenance guys are awesome. They even let me borrow a mini ladder when I was moving in so that I could hang up my curtains instead of me having to go buy a ladder that I would probably only use once and then never use again. Very happy with my decision to move in here.
I lived at the Springs for 18 months and had a great experience. The apartments are nice and well-maintained. The staff (office and maintenance) is very friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend to others.
The service is excellent. I put in requests for maintenance, and they get here quickly. Very friendly and helpful.
Ive lived here over 6 months and its been fantastic! The complex is ~5 years old, so the interiors are modern and SPACIOUS (not to mention PEST FREE)! I was stunned to get this much square feet for hundreds of dollars less per month than other places in town. The private, carpeted staircase for 2nd floor apartments was a really nice touch! The views of the lake are also stunning, especially during sunset, so I highly recommend buildings 11-14.My neighbors have been great, maintenance requests have been filled quickly, and the office staff always tries to be helpful. The staff themselves are very engaged compared to other places I have lived; they send out daily messages and run a frequent number of events. I appreciate the effort, even if I dont take advantage of the opportunities.Other perks: (1) you can fish in the lake (albeit catch and release); (2) Earlywine park is down the street (great running path); (3) the ISP is AT&T, not Cox; (4) energy bills are fairly low, so the units have good energy efficiency; (5) close proximity to groceries, decent restaurants, I-44, and airport; (6) I really like my patio. Its big enough to be comfortable on these beautiful spring nights, but not so big that your 1100 sq ft apt has 300 sq ft devoted to patio (like some places Ive lived). And now for the bad. No complex is perfect and all these issues are fairly minor from my perspective (Ive lived in -much- worse!). First, the complex does not have valet trash. I live almost as far from the dumpster as you can (0.21 mi, according to my fitness tracker), which is ~5 minute walk. I bought a Quik Cart to make garbage runs easy, though most others drive their trash to the dumpster when leaving for work. Second, the acoustics might bother some. The air conditioner is outside the master bedroom window, which sometimes annoys my wife (its white noise to me). First floor apartments will hear footfalls from above, but nothing too bothersome. Rest assured that it doesnt sound like tap-dancers and you cannot clearly hear your neighbors conversations through the wall. Youll also hear planes taking off/landing from the airport, but theyre a couple miles away and only audible when its quiet (not loud enough to wake you from a sound sleep). In response to other negative reviews: (1) Its true that the gate is broken a lot of the time. Its also true that vehicle break-ins are very common in ANY apartment complex. Garages are available for a fair monthly fee if youre that worried about security. Ill also note that the gate was fully operational over a month ago, but within a week somebody had driven THROUGH the gate rendering it inoperable again. In short: lock your doors, dont keep valuables in the back seat, and pay your auto insurance! The lease clearly states that the gate is not a guarantee that your car will be safe. (2) If you live in any apartment longer than a few months then youre going to incur charges upon move-out. Being charged a few hundred dollars on move-out is pretty common in any luxury apartment, and you should plan for it. Prior to moving out, I recommend meeting with office staff to discuss known damages and if youre hiring a third party cleaning service. Your service and the complexs service do not necessarily have the same standards. A little communication goes a long way!
Thank you Tylor and Springs at May Lakes for acting so quickly!
Beautiful community and awesome management!
Just put ticket in yesterday and was done next day. I think that’s great. The office girls are friendly and know my name when I walk in. We move here because of my husband job. It’s close to he’s job and shopping. I like that it has a dog parks on location . Springs at May Lakes is a nice place to live it’s quiet and a good place to walk. The only thing that bugs me is the gates are open all the time. I would Recommend Springs at Mays Lakes
We lived here for a little over a year, and didnt have many issues while living there. There were few maintenance visits and Morris was extremely helpful in the office. However, the moving out process left us with a sour taste and we would not recommend these apartments. We hired a professional cleaning service to deep clean the entire apartment after we moved out and they were EXTREMELY thorough. However, we got an invoice for $200+ for cleaning fees following the inspection. My husband and I both contacted the office and tried to get clarification on what exactly these fees were from and why we were being charged. We knew for a fact the apartment was far cleaner when we left it than when we moved in. However, they continually gave us the run around and refused to answer any of our questions. They also tried to double charge us for utilities that we had already paid for. Shayla continually ignored our emails and was never in the office when we called during her normal working hours. We finally had to get corporate involved to waive our fees. After Morris left, the office definitely went downhill, the current staff is not helpful and difficult to get ahold of.
Could not be happier living here! Beautiful apartment, and grounds look perfect all the time....The whole team is friendly, and helpful! I have now been here little over 2 years! The maintenance guys are wonderful! They are friendly and always go above and beyond.. Ive never had to wait too long for any service request.
I went to the cheese and chip event at the leasing office last week which was tasty and during that time I signed up to win a contest. A few days later my name was called on Facebook!!!Im so happy because I usually dont win drawings.I won an ITunes Gift Card somewhere between $15-$200. I have been having trouble figuring out how much is on the card and figuring out how to redeem the card on apple online, but I will call apple support.
This is a great place to reside it. Very peaceful, well kept, and friendly environment. Management is always prompt on any upcoming issues and easy to talk to. Highly recommend this place.
I would definitely recommend these apartments. Amber at the front desk is very helpful and got us moved into an apartment the day after we came to check it out. 5 stars
I love the environment and neighbors but the office is 100% unhelpful - no one seems to know answers to any of our questions. The service line is just as bad. Morris was really the only person who could ever help us and now that he’s gone the gate is always open/the office staff might as well not even be there. We also had a maintenance man come in our apartment when we had clearly told them both on our lease and in the service order (our ceiling was leaking water when our upstairs neighbor was taking a bath - cool) to CALL/schedule an appointment before entering. We have dogs so this was extremely important to us. Did they? No. They also forget to unlock the pool a lot. Extremely disappointed in the service here - it may look great from the outside... but def has issues.Update*** we live in a mud bog and have to Continually shovel the mud ourselves. Despite complaints nothing is done about this continual mess. Ridiculous! The gate is open 100% of the time. Maintenance workers have almost hit my car twice. So frustrating!
Ive only been to the clubhouse which was extravagant very beautiful... Well taken care of you can tell they care about their tenants... And that was just for the clubhouse I can just imagine what the apartments look like very impressed
This place is nice on the outside but once you move it it’s horrible, like others were saying Morris was great but once he left I couldn’t stand to live here any longer, the gate never works so you don’t feel secure while your sleep, you hear everything thru the walls, the entire front office is rude. They don’t complete the service ordered requested in a timely manner, they falsely accuse you of things that have nothing to do with you. I don’t have a pet but everyday I go out my door there is poop outside. Everything is so cheaply made and not worth the price
We lived there a year, so I hope this review helps someone.First, I want to say that maintenance was EXTRAORDINARY! They were so friendly and helpful. Management always does their best to help you as much as they can, their response time is amazing. The apartment we lived in was a studio. I will say that this is not for people with dogs, unless they are small dogs. We had two big dogs and that was too tiny for us!The apartment was not a problem but neighbors can be. I am not saying this against the apartments at all because you sign an addendum saying you have to keep your dogs quiet at all times but we did get a warning for our dogs barking and waking up a neighbor. I do have to say though that I wish they put pet owners together and non-pet owners together because I can see where it can be annoying for a non-pet owner for a dog to bark but for pet owners, you can’t help dogs being dogs.I would recommend the studio for those with small pets, single or married couple (no kids or just small pets) but if you have a big dog or kids, I would recommend getting a bigger apartment. If you have pets, know that your deposit doesn’t go toward the damages your dogs or pets may have caused but I have heard that from many people who have lived in apartments. One time we came home and 5 or 6 people were sitting on our front porch and just sat there while we entered our apartments. We didn’t complain because we didn’t want to be that way but neighbors can be annoying. Also, One time a neighbor woke us up at 1 am banging (sounded like wrestling going on downstairs, in their garage and then again at 5 am) we didn’t complain because we knew we lived in apartments and that just comes with the territory.Other than just a few incidents of annoying neighbors. We enjoyed living in the apartments. Again, Maintenance was so awesome! Great job!Every apartment will have something you don’t like but if you just remember you live in apartments, it will be a good experience. Hope this helps.
I like living here. Not a single complaint. You can hear your neighbors only if you really try and focus on it. (I live on the top floor) The people keep to themselves and maintain low profiles. So you dont have to worry about any obnoxious neighbors.
Nothing but great things to say about this place. Great location and prices, the staff knows who you are and are extremely friendly and any work requests I have are taken care of usually the same day I put them in. Compared to other complexes in the area, you get the most bang for your buck here.
My husband, and I have lived here for almost a year, and we just went ahead and resigned our lease! This complex has one of the best staffs I have seen they are always friendly, and ready to answer any questions you may have. The property is well maintained, and never dirty looking. This place is pet friendly as well, although we dont have animals its nice to see others out at the dog park. The gym is small, but has all the right equipment for a quick evening workout, and its always clean! I havent had any troubles with parking, and I always find a spot near my apartment which is great! The other great thing about this complex is its location! I love how close we are to earlywine park, and my college OCCC. The complex is located a mile from I44, and I240 which makes it so easy to get to wherever I need. I am definitely happy we made the choice to move in here!
Insensible office. Not trustworthy.Do not sign anything early. Wait until last minute of entering leased place to sign anything official as they only look for profit and zero customer care unlike their website promises
The property itself is ok definitely better apartments out there for the price especially with all of the extra fees they get you with. There are hiccups with the property that warrant less than 5 stars but the main problem with the property is the management. They are rude & absolutely no help when you need them. So if your looking at these apartments try somewhere else first once my lease is up Im looking elsewhere.
My husband and I really enjoy living here! Super pet-friendly and the surrounding area is great and safe. Anytime weve needed maintenance it is fixed in a jiffy!
The people are great any problems just ask and theyre fixed. Neighbor wise couldnt ask for better people.
I would give them zero if i could, been a tenant here for the past two years. The leasing office is horrible, they do not work with you for any reason. I would never ever lease at this apartment in the future
Behind one the buildings there is a landscaping issue that causes the only sidewalk to flood with water and mud. This has accumulated so much that it has stained the concrete and become a permanent issue since it will never be resolved. The rain leaves but the mud stays and has done so since the place opened. I have brought this to the office attention on multiple occasions. They are great at responding but terrible at action. They never resolved this issue and I would not make a big deal about it if not for the fact that there is NO WAY TO AVOID IT. There are two ways to get to my door and both are layered in mud causing me to track it inside on the carpeted stairs each time it rains.Other than that the place could use parking closer to the doors of the apartments but its a good place to live. Close to everything.
Service was really quick.
Keep on the lookout!! Monday night between 1-2 AM our roommates car got broken into. They got away with a radio, insurance card, makeup, and a few other items. Roommates told the office staff and they didnt seem to care too much. Their only excuse was there has been no criminal activity reported in our area. Talked to some other neighbors who have had their vehicles broken into. One of our neighbors has a video of a white male driving a white Dodge Durango or smiliar looking SUV breaking into his vehicle and speeding through the parking lot. The suspect has a routine every 3 weeks on Monday where he comes around 1 am. Keep your cars locked and keep on the lookout since the office wont warn their residents!!
Not a bad apartment complex. Shayla did an amazing job describing the whole process of getting an apartment there. Complex is new and apartments are nice.
No issues moving in, professional prompt office staff, quiet and wonderful location. The few neighbors Ive met have been very friendly and the apartment has no issues, by far the best complex Ive lived in.
Absolutely awful management. Not professional. Fees hidden that were only explained when finally asked about extra charges. Wouldnt live here again.
Thank you for fixing the outside light so promptly!
If you take a look at the high ratings and reviews of this complex, they are by people who still live there. This apartment pulls the classic scam by charging a crazy amount of cleaning fees and damages upon move out, despite Oklahoma state policies regarding normal wear and tear. When I moved into my apartment, it was not clean, not super dirty or disgusting but dirty enough that I decided to clean it before moving all of my stuff in. I spent days cleaning my place before moving out, and am being charged close to $300 for cleaning and damages. I’m being charged for damages to the stove and oven, both of which I rarely used (I can count on one hand the number of times I used the oven). I’m also being charged for paint touch ups, when normal wear and tear is expected to be permitted. Additionally, I talked to the front desk multiple times prior to leaving about expected charges, and they were not forthcoming in the fact that I should expect to be charged almost $300. They explained I’d likely only be charged the cleaning fee. I would not recommend moving here if you don’t want to deal with a hassle after move out. Additionally some things to note:-the gate literally never works, so if you believe you are paying a higher fee due to added security you are not going to get it here-the trash compactor is always overflowing, it’s gross and unsanitary-the dog park is not well maintained, there is always feces there-Three times when I woke up early (like 4am) in the morning, I was stopped by a police officer while walking my dog, asked if I had seen certain individuals and told to go inside (unsafe)-multiple car break ins-thin walls where you can hear your neighbors dogs-large rent increases
I have lived here for six months and I absolutely love my apartment. The layouts are nice and open and I have not had any maintenance problems so far. I chose to live in a downstairs unit because I have a two year old and didnt want to lug him up and down stairs. However, downstairs living has the downside of hearing the neighbors upstairs (as it does anywhere). The stairwells to the upstairs apartments run up either side of the master bedroom so all the noise echos down and you can hear everything, including conversations and anytime anyone enters or exits the upstairs apartments. Luckily my upstairs neighbors seem pretty calm so even though this is annoying, it isnt a deal breaker. Just something to keep in mind, as it can get extremely noisy at times when Im trying to sleep. The staff has always been incredibly nice and helpful and its a beautiful community to call home.
Most of these reviews are from people who haven’t given the Springs much time for things to go wrong. I lived there for nearly 3 years and feel like it was a complete disaster.Rent here if you like:Your front door left unlocked after maintenance has come in for repairs (twice)Snakes on your porchTo hear barking dogs left out on a balcony all day every dayBloody workout equipment in the free gymGates that don’t work for 292 days of the last year (yes, I counted. Go by there right now, Im sure theyre open)A month-to-month rate that is $5000 per monthDrug deals on your shared front porch (buildings 10-14 are VERY rough)Aggressive dog breeds allowed on property (German Shepherd in bldg. 11)To be threatened with an eviction notice for a $150 unpaid pet feeTo be treated like absolute dirt after their fire sprinkler system ruins your belongingsTo see mountains of trash bags piled every time you drop your trash off at the compactor (on-site maintenance, right?!)Car break-ins, one on each side of my apartment in 1306 (1303 in August 2017, 1308 in November 2018)WARNING; DO NOT RENT HERE! It may look nice, but it will be very disappointing.
**update** a bunch of picture listed here on Google are NOT of this location, but of their sister location. That is extremely misleading!! Their sister location in my opinion is nicer looking on the outside but on the opposite side of the city! I know many people have been confused and applied for the wrong location based on the fact they put up their sister locations pictures and say that its of springs at maylakes. They do this on their Facebook aswell!! Because of this I removed 2 stars. It wont let me edit my review. Cause I have a new email. We are coming to the end of our lease with our 60 day notice being delivered April 1st (no its not a joke)We loved it the first few months, then we had a few months were we hated it. As they came into our apartment almost every week for this inspection then a different one. I wished they would do them all at 1 time. But things have since mellowed out. And while we enjoy our time here its time for us to move on. I have to give mad props to Alexis. She is awesome, shes kind and helpful. I came in after I locked my keys in the car and she and another lady (Im sorry Im AWFUL with names) but I think she is the property manager did everything in their power to help me. Including cutting me a new key so I could go home and wait while my husband drove home to met with a lock Smith to get our car home. For this I thank you alot. They are nice apartments. The police arent here all the time. (Well except the ones who live here lol) the neighborhood is quiet and I havent heard of anything bad happening here. Its a prime location because it is next to EVERYTHING. Walmart, Crest, a bunch of restaurants. I feel they are way over priced thats why we are leaving. We just dont feel the apartments are worth what they are asking. My only other complaint is they only have one dumpster. If you dont have a car and live in the back of the property its long walk if you have more than one bag of trash. (Example when you get new furniture and theirs a ton of boxes.)
PLEASE READ BEFORE YOU RENT HERE!!!!This place DOES NOT in ANY way take care of their residents. I am absolutely disgusted by how we were treated by the office staff especially the assistant property manager. She was always very rude to me and would not speak when I would see her in the office.Aside from that, they will RIP YOU OFF! For example, upon move out, they charged us $1,400.00 for repairs. Most of that was damage from our dog when she was a puppy and had chewed one of the walls. We paid our pet deposit only to find out that the pet deposit DOES NOT COVER DAMAGES! As explained to my husband, it is just a fee to have the pet. Which would be fine except they also charged $15.00/month/pet as pet rent. They also tried to tack on a $600+ fee to replace the carpets! They are not military friendly (as they have an issue with our BAH being paid on the 1st and 15th). They can not keep a manager either. During the ONE year that we were there, they had four managers. Each manager had a different rule/expectation and it was tiring trying to keep up. The gates at the front are always malfunctioning/not operating at all. Our neighbors even got robbed by someone that was believed to be a part of the staff. They constantly look for ways to fine you and will do anything to squeeze a penny from you. Please go spend your money at a place that will care about you and value you as a resident. There are many more overpriced apartments in OKC that you can choose from.
Is the best place to live, nice people, nice workers, nice residents, secury place, perfect place for pets, friendly dogs, awesome plase
Great apartments. Super nice and I love the pool
Hands down the best apartment complex in south okc.
READ THIS before you sign that Lease!!I have finally moved out after living at these apartments for a year so I am well qualified to write this post. As you can see with most of the positive reviews here those are people new to the apts or who live upstairs.First off, IF YOU are going to live here you MUST get an upstairs apartment or hope if you live downstairs that no one moves in above you or beside you. I had the most obnoxious teenager living above me and it felt like a rap concert or wrestling matches were going on every night in my apt. I had to complain at least 20 times to the management and not one thing ever changed! You can hear your upstairs neighbor EVERY TIME they walk down their stairs, even if they are trying their best to be convenient to you. I was paying $1300 for a garage apt here and for that amount I could have been living much more happy in midtown compared to here and the south side! For the price you pay in rent here the buildings are no way worth that price...NEXT the management loves you when youre trying to start a lease here but after youre signed good luck on getting anything done. Ive seen at least 3 different managers work there while I was there.NEXT is that So-Called security gate. Half the time the thing is broken or wide open because of the wind. Even when the gate is working its a joke! People just wait for another car to come through and follow right in or people just enter the exit gate when people are leaving. SO if you think that gate is going to keep the bad guys out keep hoping. Ask if there have ever been any break ins here....I will give this place 1 star well because i have to give it something and because of the gym, pool, and sometimes working grill. Also I never had any issues with the clientele that live here. But pool is only half the year and gym is pretty small and can get crowded.NEXT is that the parking here sucks! You dont want to park in a spot its ok park your big ass car behind your garage so it blocks half the road. I am very surprised there has not been a big wreck in the parking lot due to everyone speeding and thinking they have the right away. The rent is here is crazy for the South Side, for the prices they ask you can def find better locations. Finally after I left I got the final fees bill which is taken out of your deposit. THIS is a rip off!! They can charge you anything they like and theres not a damn thing you can do about it. I dont smoke but my upstairs neighbor did, guess who got 2 different SMOKE charges on my final bill.... Its a joke. The insulation in these buildings are non-existent so if your neighbor smokes inside its ganna make its way into your apt.Im sure Im missing other details about the property but hopefully this post helps you on a decision as well as the other posts.Good Luck
Ive lived here for almost a year and i truly loved living here i have had a great experience i dont usually do reviews but i saw the rating due to some other reviews being overly dramatic . The gate has been broken thats because people follow behind each other they normally get it repaired quickly i havent had any maintenance issues and when i have had a light go out i put in the request and they normally are there the same day . As for the other tenants cleaning up after their dogs this complex does a DNA test on all pets to make sure that people keep up wth their pets and there are punishments for people who dont pick up after their dogs. I have seen one dog of the leash but this is a service dog and normally its only at night .
Has several good layouts.
Little overpriced on the 1 bedrooms, for all the homeless people and hookers roaming around that area.
Good people.
Great staff!!! Great community!!!!
Great place
Something is always broken, whether it be the gates, to the FOBS, to the mailboxes, etc.
