The office staff is amazing, Faith and her team are real, honest and conduct themselves with integrity. They are professionals. The maintenance team is top-notch! James and his team gets things done, and done right! The maintenance department attends to your needs very quickly. The property has a lot of amenities, including a fishing pond! The property is large and beautiful! Highly recommend this apartment complex!

So 3 years now I have been living at The Shores Apartment and I can still say I love it here. I read a couple peoples reviews who have had one or many experiences that they claim made it impossible for them to want to continue to live at the shores. Honestly, lets look at it this way, Nothing is ever so perfect and no human being is either. Thats why people have their strengths and their weaknesses. So, in my honest opinion; The Shores is a fantabulous place to live in. There are rules to everything like if you have pets, pick up after your pets etc. If you keep your apartment untidy, you yourself invite the bugs in etc. So clean up after yourself. I have lived here 3years and I have not had a problem that I communicated with the management that they have failed to help out with or fix. The maintenance team are all so amazing. All and every fixes or touch ups I needed has been fixed without issues. The community surrounding is very clean, security is great. I will choose living here over and over again if I have too. So, if youre still stuck at trying to decide, well decide fast cos during the ice storm that rocked Oklahoma, we didnt loose power over here.. That should tell you we are real good over here. smile.

We lived here for a year. We told the people in the office we were not renewing our lease. We ended up moving out of state the last month of our lease. Within three months they reported us to a collection agency IQ Data International stating we owed them over $2200.00. This is in fact a lie. We have called the office now for almost 3 years and no one will return a phone call. When we call the collection company they are rude and nasty to us. This has made it impossible for us to own a home. I would never rent from this company.

Wonderful place to live, just expensive and allows very few freedoms.

I’ve lived here for a few months. I like the apartment fine and the office staff is friendly enough. This might seem like a small complaint but it’s been slowly grating on me the longer I live here. I hate that this apartment complex only has one entrance and exit. I live near the “exit” so I have to go around the ENTIRE apartment complex to get to my place. People who live near the designated “entrance” get to enter and exit that way. Everyone who lives on my side has to drive over all the awful speed bumps. I’ve heard some of the other residents over here complain, as well. It’s annoying, especially when you’re in a hurry to get home at the end of the day. It also seems like it’s pointless to only have one entrance and exit when you have so much traffic coming through. Please, please, someone fix this.

If I can take off the star I will.They are the worst apartments you can live in. They offer many luxuries, access control and security. Two years living in them and my story ... on 2 occasions the windows of my car have been broken during the night, on 2 occasions me and other neighbors of the building got our stuff stole from the cars the same night. Not only this, but they dont even respect the effort we make a lot to give something for Christmas and these rats also come to steal Christmas gifts. Not only that, but every time something happens the office staff just say that it is not their problem and that they cannot help us with security, so why they offer security if they cannot help the police to catch the gang of criminals around here. I DO NOT RECOMMEND IT. YOU WILL NOT HAVE PEACE OR TRANQUILITY HERE.

Ive lived at the Shores for 2 years and they have by far the best maintenance manager/crew of any apartment Ive ever lived in. Ive had a few issues with my air conditioning and the maintenance manager would be knocking at my door within 15 minutes of my maintenance call every single time. He and his crew are extremely friendly and helpful. They fixed every issue Ive had in my two years in a timely and quality fashion and they are always a pleasure to interact with. 5 stars isnt enough for the service Ive received in my time at The Shores.

I have lived at the Shores for about 6 months and have had a great experience so far. Office staff is always helpful and maintenance have been quick to resolve any workorders. I would definitely recommend these apartments to anyone looking for a good home in a great location and pet friendly.

Honestly I didn’t have a terrible experience while living there. The cons are: rent will go up EVERY year. Significantly... with no improvement to your space. The pet “fees” you pay are not deposits. So basically you pay $300 a pet with zero return. Don’t forget you will also pay an additional $25 a month for said pets “rent”. Again with zero return. Not sure what I paid the $600 + $25 a month for. Also when I moved out I had two bags of trash that I left outside the door and I was charged $25 for it to be taken away- even though I paid $25 a month for trash to be picked up. No one picks up after their pets and not many of the rules are enforced by management. Save your money and rent elsewhere.

I love living at the shores and wanted to renew. I went into the office to talk about it and was told my rent was going to be going up to $971 if I wanted to renew on a shorter lease term. Not worth it for the square footage of the unit. Not a good way to retain residence either. Not pleased with that pricing so I will be moving and taking my business elsewhere.

I enjoyed my time at the shores for the 2 years I lived there, very nice apartments but the management and overall quality of customer service is on par with a a hotel in a 3rd world country. 9 times outta ten you call the office for something no body answers the phones and you leave a voicemail 10 to 15 times before someone finally gets back to you a week or more later. This especially became true the longer I lived there. I realize why the rent goes up every year its so people will move out and they can get brand new people in there who arent privy to all their issues and poor management. The perfect example for the phone issues came to a head with me trying to turn in my 30 notice due to COVID-19, I had tried every day for a week to turn in said notice but no one would answer the phone for a week so by the time someone did answer the phone my notice was a week late and now they want to charge me for rent 8 days into July when my lease was up on June 28th. How is this fair, I spent 2 years at this complex and spent lots of money just to get screwed over by the offices terrible management and customer service skills. And when I brought this information to the office I was told that even though they were the cause for it being late it was not their problem and it was still late. Now they are trying to accuse me of having animals in said apartment when I never had any so im sure theyll try to pin a few thousand more dollars to this by the end of this ordeal.All in all would never ever live here again, by far the worst management and customer service skills Ive ever seen out of somewhere that charges as much as they do. Not impressedThings seem ok in the beginning but trust me thats just the warm up for whats to come when you plan to leave said establishments.

The atmosphere is calming, and the people are very kind.

Love this location and all the staff are wonderful people. Coming from a country setting this place has been perfect. I see deer right from my balcony but I am still close to everything city life has to offer. I couldn’t have found a better place to call home.

Nice community, what really makes it nice is the most excellent maintenance team led by Mr. T who stays on top of this property. Year round expertly cleaned hot tub is fab.You will never see even one piece of canine poop lying around this property. They really keep it so clean it is unbelievable.

Weve lived here several months and dont have any complaints yet! The staff is nice and the apartments are very modern. We also enjoy the dog parks for our dog! They also host events every so often which is a great way to meet other people in the apartments. Overall we are very satisfied!

I love my apartment!! The apartment is spacious and the little extras make it even better.It is a quiet complex and I have not had any issues with my neighbors.The office staff are awesome, friendly and patient with my thousands of questions, lol.

I paint the apartments here before someone moves in. They take really good care of their units and we do a really good job painting. They have a stocked fishing pond, 2 pools with a hot tub and Xbox in the resident Lounge with access to a apple computer with a 50 inch screen. Great dog park to train your dog. And really nice open floor plans. I can never hear anyone walking above me when Im painting. Its a really quite place, not to mention a great place to raise kids and bring kids to their park. Locked gates! If I had the money I would move there !

Just called the apartments to ask about specials & if they have a puppy park for my service dog. Couldnt get the information I needed so I finally hung up.

Nice as far as appearance in apartment and outside, yet poorly built for noise. I can hear every footstep walked above me and/or conversations in the apartment above and beside me. I wouldnt waste my time if youre looking for privacy and silence. 👎🏼😩

Located in a good area, but apartments are not what I expected for a newer complex. You can hear neighbors above & next door from conversations to EVERYTHING else you can think of. Also they need to enter apartments often for inspections, pest control, etc.... Nice to keep up on things, but wow! Apartment has alot of wear & tear, numerous problems with things not working properly in the apartment.

They had cute apartments and a great neighborhood when I went to visit. Definitely in my top apartment choices

There’s to many roaches and upon request to get my apartment sprayed there was no answer facilities are nice and it’s a safe area, but they have a serious roach problem

I have lived at The Shores for about two months now. I wanted to write a review that I think would be helpful for someone who can never find good reviews when they’re looking for a place to live. I have separated it into 4 categories: apartment, grounds/facilities, location, and staff.Apartment: We opted for the B3 floor plan (2br/2b/1129 sqft) and we love it. It gives us plenty of room for activities. The kitchen space is to die for with plenty of cabinet and counter space and I am always excited to cook in there. The stainless appliances give the place a nice clean look, which is something we wanted. The lighting in the kitchen isn’t very bright though and we’ve opted to install some under cabinet LED light strips so that I can see better when I’m prepping meals. We also got an LED lantern for the pantry closet so we can see better when we’re looking for something. This is a luxury community but it still has faults of lower scale apartments. None of the cabinetry is even, the carpet is very thin and worn down, and the paint job is very splotchy (as in the walls were touched up with paint that didn’t match the original color). The toilets dont flush very well at all and the water pressure in the shower is undesirable. We found a shower head on amazon for like $30 bucks that double or tripled the water pressure though, which was totally worth the cost. One thing that is really great is that we hardly ever hear our neighbors. About the only time we do is when they’re cooking/microwaving (the buzzer on the oven and microwave are probably the loudest I’ve ever experienced) and one of our neighbors is an aspiring Clarinetist. There is so much storage in this unit. The balcony is really large so you have plenty of space for furniture out there.Grounds/facilities: I don’t really walk around the grounds much but there are dog parks, a playground, a very large pond, and a very large pool. Everything seems to be kept up pretty well, and I look forward to the summer when I can enjoy the swimming pool. The gym is sad and quite small, the equipment is definitely due for an upgrade. For the cost of living here it should definitely be updated and it’s one of the few things that keep my review from being 5 stars (call me picky). There is a pool table in the office area that I haven’t been able to play with yet, put it is very nice. People do zip through the complex and I believe they are trying to remedy that as well.Edit: As of 11/28/2017 the exit gate has been fixed. Since it isnt set up to be a two way gate this means that someone who lives on the side of the exit gate (like me) has to go all the way around the complex to get to their building, while people on the other side of the complex can enter and exit at the enter gate. Im glad the gate is fixed but I definitely look forward to it being a two way. (I know theres no pleasing me)Location: The location is great, the complex is just down the road from the Kilpatrick Turnpike, which makes it easy to get to and from places. Down Rockwell there are plenty of groceries stores: crest, homeland, grocery store Walmart, and more further down. Since there isn’t much directly around the complex it stays nice and quiet out here. There is usually heavy traffic congestion in the morning (from about 7-9ish) when you’re going down Rockwell to get on the turnpike.Staff: The staff is very responsive and try their hardest to make living here great for the tenets. We’ve had some things that have needed to be fixed and the maintenance response is usually very quick. Let’s be honest, a lot of the time maintenance people are creepy and kind of rude, but the guys that work here are all super friendly and helpful. The valet trash service has a mandatory fee but living on the 3rd floor I can’t imagine not having it. The service runs Sunday-Thursday, and your trash has to be out around 8 for the person to come pick it up.
