My go to spot! Lidia has been doing my nails for forever now and she never misses!!! She puts so much effort and time into making sure you get what you asked for. Ive asked her for many different designs and she always agrees with a smile. Her energy is warm, kind and infectious. Her salon is spotless and was/is the only place I trust that properly follows COVID protocols. Her team of women are all so kind and sweet and make sure your nails are on point. Its one of the few places in East Harlem that provide quality at a good price point. The salon is easily accessible and close to the 6 train. Best to make a reservation, but be sure to visit!!

As I walked into this ghetto spider infested shack, I saw a dead rat at the entrance. I walked further in and I saw the staff dancing to wap and they were harassing me and the customers. I did not feel comfortable at this shack. Then the owner of this shack named lidia started eating the little crumbs from my granola bar off the floor. I kicked it away and then bit my leg, now I have rabies, cancer, lice. I will no longer come back to this shack. Someone please take down the building. I will gladly take it for free and have a Nicki Minaj posters and music store.

Do not recommend for gel nails. Not sure what the name of the lady who did my nails is, she is the one who charges, but she did a very poor job. She was very nice but does not know how to do gel nails, which I came specifically for due to good reviews on gel nails. All of my nails are different shapes after this manicure.. some are oval, some round and some square. I have been doing gel nails consistently and have never experience such bad job. To take off the previous gel she filed so hard it damaged most of my nails which I never had an issue with prior to this. Besides the gel manicure being sloppy, I left with a lot of little hairs stuck to ALL of my nails. I asked for two nails on each hand to only have color on the top portion of the nail in a diagonal way and it was very sloppy I had to ask her to fix multiple times. I also added a white line to make it appear better and the line is not straight and every nail with this style is entirely bumpy (I can feel the gel) some parts have a lot of gel color and others it is thin. I also paid $40 for this service, and gel nails are $30... $10 more for a very poor job. Will never come again. I also went in with an appointment and still waited around 25minutes to be attended.

I got a gel manicure from once of the nail technicians, Monica. She was very friendly and detail-oriented, and my manicure felt luxurious and looks great! This will definitely be my new nail spot.

I went on Saturday to get an SNS manicure. The lady who assisted me attempted to do a design involving gold flakes on my nails using a gel base on top of the SNS so I’ll give her that. However, 2 days later and the gold flakes and entire gel base peeled off from 2 out of the 4 nails. I arrive at 7pm on this same day in order to address the situation and see if the gel base can be removed entirely from the remaining 2 nails since I’m assuming they won’t last as well and I am told that they’re about to close and to come back tomorrow, being that the lady who did the manicure wasn’t there. I asked for the possibility to receive a refund for the decoration price and am told that I would have to wait for the lady to be there to obtain a refund.Essentially, I am taking time out of my day to return two days later when this job should’ve been done right the first time around and you’re telling me you’re not able to fix them because you’re about to close? Very unprofessional considering the poor quality was the reason my nails messed up in the first place. I was willing to oversee the fact that the nail filing with SNS was done poorly and my nails look bulgy/thick. Overall, this is an overpriced nail salon for poor quality service. Avoid if you can.

This place feels clean and cozy! Did not have any issues with my pedicure. They dont have a massage chair nor a bubbling foot sink tub. Not much selection with regular nail polish (not sure about gel). Will be back again and will most definitely be a regular customer.

I stopped in this afternoon for a manucure and was very impressed with the care and skill of the technician, Alex, who took care of me. She gave great care and attention to my nails and cuticles as well as did a beautiful job painting them. I’ve been looking for a nail salon to frequent and I just found it at Sathi.

I honestly can not give this place any stars but am required to post. Today May 18, 2019 I was burned on my left foot by scolding hot water. I came in to have my gel nail polish removed that was put on at Sathi Nail Salon 3 weeks ago. Then update with regular mani and pedi. Nail technician Lydia was putting on acetone with aluminum foil on my nails then asked me to place my foot there, which I immediately believed to be in to soak in the foot tub. I then got burned from streaming hot faucet water and let out a huge scream from the pain. Lydia went on to apologize but then later followed it up with I guess I wasnt clear. Then gave an excuse promptly after insinuating I the customer should have known that they take the nail polish off first. When in fact other nail salons allow clients to soak. I guess I to am to blame for getting burned Lydia. When if a client being told to put their foot in the tub or on foot rest while scolding hot water is running may easily burn themselves. Technician Vanessa who had been prepping the water felt awful because she had not asked me to place my feet in that area and apologized profusely. Lydia then asked if I was going to continue and I said I dont think so, she proceeded to yank the aluminum off my nails with an attitude. I said what are you doing, I still must take this off, you guys put it on. I opted to only get my manicure done by Vanessa. However no one ever returned to check on me about my foot. I asked if Lydia or another woman in the corner was the owner just to be told there was no owner on premise. When it was time to pay, I let Lydia know that she never followed up to see how I was doing and that in the future it is extremely rude and insulting to assume the customer knows what to do. Lydia then followed that with I said sorry and was going to walk away. I explained that I was so scared and my heart was racing when I got burned and my heart is still racing so that I want to cry. I had only been to this salon once before, so Im not a regular. In the end I was charged $16 for the service while a regular manicure is listed at $12 on the price list. I believe Lydia charged me for gel removal which is not listed on the price list of services. I will never return to this salon but will be contacting the owner.

Only three persons available to do gel mani - pedi but always occupied. While CUSTOMERS are waiting 3,4, or 5 persons walk in they tell the next person 15 min. BEWARE OF THE NASTY PLASTIC IN THE FOOT WASH. SERIOUSLY NOT ENVIRONMENT OR HUMAN FRIENDLY.
