Newby’s is fantastic.We came in from out of town and had engine troubles. We used Newby’s some 5-7 years ago and decided to come back (not a hard decision).They were very accommodating. Understanding our situation they were able to attend to us quickly. It did take about a day and a half, but for having to replace an alternator, new battery and front breaks they did a phenomenal job!They communicated every step of the way and asked for approval before doing any work. They were prompt in getting the work done and all around was a very pleasant transaction.I would come back to Newby’s any day of the week. Would recommend 5 out of 5!

They were very honest and reasonably priced. I dropped off my car an hour before closing and by the time I got they already knew what was wrong with my ac. Taking them my other 2 cars this week.

My 1st & last time coming here. They said they couldnt fix my car, then charged me $65 to get it back. I ended up paying 1/2 of what they thought it would cost to fix at my new mechanic.

Newbys installed a battery ;in my 2013 Forester. I had quotes from two other shops including Subaru. Not only did I save around $80 on the battery, it came with a year longer warranty. It is warranted for three years (not two) and is covered 100 % replacement during that time. No pro rate to worry about. Thanks guys!

I have a 1996 Lincoln Town Car. Newbys is my go to place for any and all work. They know my car and I have complete faith in their diagnosis, repairs, and assessments. They are honest and very reliable PERIOD.Another recent visit to Newbys just placed an exclamation mark for their personal service. I am not just another number to them. They treat me like family. I have the strongest faith in their timeliness and the quality of their service. There aint no other repair shop for me.

The scheduled service was prompt and timely. I arrived a little earlier and was taken care of right then; therefore there was no waiting time for service to begin. The estimate given was on point with no discrepancies. Communication from David Wardle as to where he was in completing the repairs / service was timely and considerate. No one tried to sell me services or repairs that was not needed at that time and stuck to what the vehicle was brought in to have done.

I had been going here for the past few years, but no longer after the way Julie treated us today. She was extremely rude, even to the point of hanging up the phone on my wife and yelling at her when she went into the shop. All because my wife was not able to go in to pick up the brake pads on the very moment that Julie demanded.I had to get my front brakes replaced, and didnt want to pay for their pads when I had a lifetime warranty already on the pads currently on the car. She agreed to charge for the labor and we could bring in the pads ourselves. Fine, sounds good. Only when she called in the morning for my wife to pick up the pads, my wife told her that she would be in as soon as she could, but couldnt at that particular time because she had to take the kids to swim class. Julie yelled at her on the phone that we were holding up the line and she should be charging us $100/hr for it and hung up on her. Later when my wife went in there she immediately started to yell at her again and told her that they dont want our business.Wow, we were amazed at the unnecessary and completely inappropriate behavior of Julie. The way she treats her customers is inexcusable. I like having a good mechanic shop to go to, but I also expect to be treated with some dignity. Since Julie is not able to provide common decency, and to her request, I will be taking my business elsewhere and would advise you to do the same.

Newbys has been exceptionally responsive to my needs on a 2006 Dodge Grand Caravan with 90,000+ miles. Most recently I had a number of things done to it in preparation for a summer road trip, and as a result it feels and drives like a new car again.I am a very satisfied customer.

This is a family owned business and they treat all customers like family as well! They keep the price down and DO NOT gouge you or charge you for work or parts that you do not need. I recently had one of my vehicles serviced here last month. There was something wrong with the engine and I researched the prices that I was quoted by Newby’s because I’m a very thorough customer. The parts and labor that Newby’s quoted were about the same everywhere I looked. Some of the aftermarket parts I found online were more affordable, but I would rather pay a little bit extra what’s recommended than have an issue down the road.Newby’s put in a timing chain kit and I have driven probably 6-7k miles since with no issues. I had another vehicle that was serviced in September 2012 that needed a crankshaft senor and lower controller arm replaced and it’s running great now.All in all I give Newby’s a 5/5 star review for their quality of work, competitive prices, and the fact that you truly feel like a valued customer and not just someone they want to turn over for a profit as quickly as possible.

They did the repair they were supposed to, were fast but inhospitable, and forgot to hook a filter back onto my Throttle body. 5 minute fix for me at home but shows a lack of attention to detail.

Had a good experience, I needed some spark plugs gapped so I went to them and they did it for free. A couple weeks later I brought my car in to them for an oil change. My tech was knowledgeable.

They had my car for 6 days to figure out what was wrong with it. Ive had a lot of work done here over the past 10 years and they have never charged returning customers for a diagnosis, until now. They said they dont have any of my past records and charged me $65 after having my car for a full week. Then they were going to charge me triple the going price for parts and labor was ridiculous. I bought the parts myself and saved $1,100!!! They lost a long time customer over $65. I used to recommend all of my friends and family there, but now I tell people to stay far away from that place. Too bad too, they used to do really good work and were honest about their rates.

Ive had nothing but top-notch service and repairs from Newbys, and my car is 16 years old. Im counting on them to keep it going until we all switch to self-driving or Uber or I have to give up driving due to poor eyesight. They said, Well, its a Corolla, which means to me that I and car will both die of old age together. I love my pre-too-many-electronics car. When I busted my interior door handle myself, someone else wanted $200 to fix it. Newbys asked less than $50; I had already purchased the $7 door handle. And they shuttle me too, which is sometimes needed.

I found Newbys on a news report re; repairs and overall upkeep of your car or truck. After years of not trusting many corp. Type repair shops.I liked and believed it what the owner of this family owned business was explaining to the listeners.by the way, the local news channel seeked them out based on the lowest number of consumer complaints. So I took my GMC Truck there for routine upkeep. Best job I have had done since I have owned the truck. That was back in 2013.I havent taken any other place since. Good honest people / family.
