This was my first time here and I had a wonderful experience. I showed the nail techs a picture of what I wanted and they got it spot on. I will definitely be coming back!

After looking long for a good nail salon I finally found it! The pedicures are the best! I came in with my 2 year old and the lady (I think her name is Tina) doing my pedicure was so friendly and was talking and playing with my son. This place really helped me relax.

Bumpy and bad gel manicure, paint all over skin, rushing too many people through to do quality work. Worst mani pedi I’ve ever paid for. Should be illegal.

This is probably one of the best nail salons on the upper east side. They do amazing work, they don’t make you feel rushed like some other places do and the pricing is pretty good for the area.

Rude owner. Lied on the phone about the type of nails they do and then acted like it was all good when I was in the middle of getting them done. Also told me to come at 2 and didn’t start my nails until 2:30. Wouldn’t return

Great Salon, extremely welcoming and kind staff. They are not always able to fit me in for the appointment I call about, which is understandable but still a great place. Very clean and accurate

I really like the point system they have there too. I get shellac mani pedi. Just a regular type nothing special. Ladies always kind and offers you water or tea. Or even a magazine. Very friendly and kind.

Scheduled an appointment for 5pm and they told me to pick a color and wait. They ended up taking walk ins before me after 15 minutes of waiting so I asked how much longer because I had a dinner reservation. She told me 20 - 30 minutes! My appointment was at 5pm and I would have been taken at 6pm. Poor customer service don’t recommend.

I absolutely love the customer service at Sapphire! Their work quality is amazing as well, makes me feel relaxed and perfectly tended to.

I love Sapphire. I’m very particular about my nails, and they do such an amazing job. They’re also very clean! It’s a great nail salon, with great hours. My manicure last a very long time. The massages are amazing too.

Called and asked if they did acrylics, was told yes, they don’t. They use tips and dip powder, I was already in too deep so I got a full set. Showed her how long I wanted and she finished my nails. Within three days one of my nails had broken, they were lovely and fixed it. Next day two more nails break, and I kid you not 5 min after the 2nd fix, another nail broke when I was taking off my shoes. Mind you this is 7 days after I get the full set. So I go back again the same day, the owner/manager proceeds to, from what I gathered, scolded my manicurist for letting me get my nails so long, Um what? They’re definitely long but it’s by no means necessarily her fault, she was very gracious and lovely about the whole thing. They did fix them at no charge but at this point I’ve spent as much timefixing broken nails as I did getting the initial full set. 3 days later another nail broke. We are at 5 broken nails after a 10 day span.The full set was over $70. Ridiculous. Never again.

Everyone is very friendly and welcoming, but my polish wasnt done accurately. Or maybe I have very high expectations. Pics: right after and in 3 days.

I’ve been coming to Sapphire nails for as long as I can remember, today was my first time back since Covid-19 affected all of us. They’ve really done a great job in take all the safety precautions and measures needed. Make an appointment before you go, temperature check at walk in and everyone is in masks. The plexiglass partitions are in place to make sure you’re separated from other customers and from the manicurists. Love this place will always be my goto nail place on the UES. Highly recommend for anyone in the area!! ❤️

I have been going to Sapphire for over 5 years for my eyelash extensions. I have tried other places and nowhere compares. Not only do they do the best job, but they are professional and kind. I started going back again in July once they were allowed to open again, and I am super pleased with the safety precautions they are taking. Temperature check when you enter, sanitizer everywhere, everyone is wearing a mask, and they even have plastic walls between seating in the pedicure section. Definitely the place to go if youre looking for eyelash extensions!!

Carol did a great job on my nails! I came in with a design and she helped me add a little more detail. So nice and took her time.Come early, it gets full.

I called and ask for acyrics, they said they did them, when i got there they only do tips, so i got the tips, and right as i was walking out they started chipping. the next day they all fell off. i am furious. i spent over $75. i would never go there again and reccomend the same too you.

Very clean and COVID-friendly. Plexiglass between yourself and employee at all the manicure stations and dividing pedicure stations. Felt safe and clean. Highly recommend.

A nice place to get a quick mani!

I’ve been here more than 50 times and have always had a great experience. Every time I leave I think “why do I ever go anywhere else?”. They recently expanded and offer more services. The technicians here are amazing and detail oriented! Become a regular here!

The owner ripped me off 30 dollars more and made me pay a rip above the tip that I had ... apparently 8 dollars was not a good tip. Never again

After a bad experience with another salon nearby, I was very satisfied with the work done at Sapphire. All supplies used on my nails were new and came in sterilized packets. My nail tech was very attentive in making sure my nail length and shape was the same on both hands and asked if I wanted an additional coat of gel polish before applying the top coat. My nails look great and this will definitely be my go-to salon going forward!

Not a suggested spot. My grandson came here to get his nails painted and I did not approve. The color was not a good shade for his skin tone, and I think that the workers should have told him to get less sparkles and more sheen. Not impressed!

It is a amazing place. Very Zen like and clean! The people are so nice and accomodating. The spa technicians literally bend over backwards to please you. Their services are wonderful and their pedicure is beyond phenomenal!

I have been here a few times now and I have always had a good experience. Yesterday Jimmy helped me out with picking a new color when I found out that the one I had wanted was no longer available. He created this beautiful coffin shape dip powder purple glitter ombre that I am in love with.

I was there on Thanksgiving Day, the place is so clean organized and serene. I got the best gel manicure and Pedicure their price is so reasonable. Highly recommended.

Great service at reasonable price. Mani pedi plus callus was $48, the lady did a thoroughly good job. It was very busy when I visited on a Thursday after work, but everyone working there is happy and super accommodating.

I just got an excellent manicure and pedicure! The icing on the cake is that everyone is so nice here!

Hello all. Had gel manicure, pedicure and foot massage in this place today and all I can say my experience about lady working on my nails was the worst I ever had. She was putting me down while fake smiling.. Got comments how big my foot is . How beautiful I am but my hair maybe a bit too short and that would look much better longer ... Obviously not much love or acceptance in this place, only bullying while fake smiling. Lady with service dog was so right . Avoid or you will have to meditate while in one of this chairs for more than hour and even after that at home . Good luck to all, Namaste !

Was convinced by all the good reviews, I wont go back!!! Very expensive for what it worth, bad service, my polish was over the same day I did it... I wouldnt recommend that place... There is much better for the same price or even much cheaper.

I only come here and I only see Bhawana. She has the most pleasant attitude and does a wonderful, thorough job on tips and toes. Shes also a fabulous masseuse and the only one Ill let thread my brows.

They used to be good. Now, it seems to bw rushed. I called to see if there was a wait before I went, the girl over the phone said no. I showed up 5 minutes later, the boss man advised a 15 minute wait. 😑 Not cool. Then, to make it seem like its not a wait, they set you up in a tub of lukewarm water and the pedicure itself was not so satisfying. A $10 pedi is Murray Hill is better than this $27.30 pedi.

My friend got a manicure and pedicure done by Kamala. I have never been here, but I read the good reviews online and told him to go there. This review is written on his behalf because he doesnt have a google. The salon was honest, courteous, and clean. There was an autoclave with clean instruments. All files were used once and brand new. They disposed of the files after each use. They took good care of him and he will be returning.

Nice job on my gel pedicure. She could have gotten a bit deeper getting dead skin off my heals but it was pretty bad and she scrubbed alot with the sandpaper exfoliator. Looks much better. I will go back.

Have always been pleasantly surprised by this place. It is not fancy by any means and somewhat cramped. The main thing I dont like is that they dont have very modern drying equipment for manicures and pedicures (its literally a fan), which can be annoying if its particularly humid or warm out. I also didnt like that one time I came in with a birthday coupon sent out by a third party site and they seemed to be alerting everyone that I came in with that, which made me feel like I might have been treated differently because I had a coupon and wasnt paying full price. However, the manicure was done well and lasted a while. Their colors are older, so if you have one you like, Id bring it because the bottles are definitely thicker from years of use!My manicures and pedicures have always laster than normal from here, so I will continue to come despite it not being the most pleasant.

THE BEST PLACE in the city HANDS DOWN!! I always get a gel manicure and spa pedicure. Mya is amazing and Ive made appointments with her practically since they opened! I recently moved out of NYC, only temporarily, so when I visit and officially move back this is definitely my go to!Not only is Mya great, but all of the staff is super friendly and helpful! Sunita and her brother, own the salon, and they are wonderful!

Got a gift card for a free manicure for my birthday. Decided to check it out. Manu did a great job on my nails. I love how they came out! Following the manicure I got a quick back massage before drying my nails. Always a plus!they also have a rewards program where if you spend $50, you get a free manicure and $100 a free mani-pedi (or something like that-not sure those are the exact numbers) I would definitely come back here!!

So bad! the lady wanted to sell all extra things in the men but went away when I needed help on putting my shoes back. Hand nail damaged after all...this and service costed 60.00 including 8.00 tip.
