I have been going to Spring Nail Spa for 6 years. The girls are great and Ive never had a problem. I fet SNS and generally get a xgsir massage too. I also get pedicures.
I have been going for years and always treated wonderfully. Their work always lasts longer than any time I have had my nails done when I am out of town for weeks and had my nails at another place. I am so glad they are back.
Its excellent service and attentive staff. I would recommend this nail salon to everyone.
Am a registered nurse just returned from vacation and my nails were in desperate need of a UV gel fill in. Only had one hour to get this done, plus had a super important conference call. Owner was most accommodating took me in sat me with Etta ( no sure of correct spelling ) plugged in my phone and Etta did a beautiful job! I am very fussy about my nails. Not the prettiest if places but excellent work. Would definitely go back !
Got a $10.50 manicure and it took about 20 minutes. Not exactly a spa experience, but I wanted a quick refresh and it was perfect. Everyone was kind if a little quiet. Cool little spot
Really bad customer service. The service itself was rushed and not worth the price. I asked a few questions about options and all i was told was i dont know. Cindy was the one who did my gel manicure. Very very very rude. She was rushing the whole time and spoke to me with a disrespectful tone. I wasnt going to leave a good tip because of this. As i was writing in the tip, she had her hand on the receipt to see what i was going to tip. She then complained to her colleague about me and the tip and they laughed at me. Uncomfortable. If you want a better tip you should treat your clients better.
I give them 0 for their Service and treating a customer. I will recommend NOT to go to this place. Before my service started, I was told about a combo deal on the Gel Mani/Pedi for $47. During the service, the technician realized my Nails were powder and technician switched the nail paint material. Post my service was 100% complete, the receptionist asked me to pay $61. I disagreed to pay the changed price because at no point of the service I was told about the price change.Had they told me the price change on time, I could have made my decision accordingly. The staff was yelling at me but I chose to be civil and not yell back. One of the staff member threatened to call 911 on me. The other staff member grabbed my wrist to take me to the spa chair to remove my powder paint off my nail.I requested endlessly to only charge me the amount that they told me in the of the service ($47.) I even requested that their behavior makes me not to come back for service for which the receptionist responded: She doesnt care if I dont come back. After their threats, yelling, and physical mishandling, I decided to pay $61 and write them a review for what happened.I did advise them to inform their customers for the price in change of service in advance. However, I am very upset the way I was treated at this business place.I voiced my right as a consumer to pay for the money I was told originally ($47.) Rest, please decide for yourself if you will like to get serviced here or not.
I got a gel manicure and pedicure. My hands literally looked good for a day after I getting the service. I feel cheated. On the brighter note they have great color selection and people who do your service are nice.
I feel bad writing this, but this place is bad. I usually go to one of the neighboring ones, but as fate would have it, I walked into this one for a regular mani-pedi, the least complicated possible. The woman who did my pedicure, name tag said Amy, never even looked down at what she was doing and chatted constantly with her colleagues. She did not even wash the soap off the legs thoroughly, did not apply lotion properly and forget about the basic massage. Equally terrible at manicure. I actually had to go to another place and ask for a polish change on my fingernails. All she cared about was whether I was tipping on card or cash, even after saying twice that I was tipping in cash. Gave her the tip, and never going back.
Love the staff here. So cool and they offer massages with every service
They put a plastic liner in the bath water, so the jets that use to work dont any more. When this place opened up years ago it was great. But now service has gone down. So since there are no jets in the foot tub you are thinking of getting a foot massage which is extra. And when they massage your feet it is with latex gloves on which I hate. I dislike the feel of rubber during a massage. Skin on rubber no thanks. No I will pass on all your servers. ππΎππΎππΎ
So, went the re with my girlfriend, got 2 green tea pedi and mani, got charged 120 for extra I didnt asked for. Poor massage and quality.1 star
This place is huge and you get great service, bring your own nail polish, some of their polish needs a BIG UPGRADE.
Okay.1. Customer service is ridiculous. You ask someone a question they do not answer. Everyone here is rude and doesnt understand English.2. They accept people who entered later and do them first.3. Smells bad.4. They just leave in the middle of doing nails.5. Answer phone calls while doing nails and dont listen when you ask them to do things.6. Only two people know how to do acrylics and only one shows up.7. If you bring your own nail polish, they try to steal it and say its theirs.8. Very racist.9. Makes fun of peoples weight.10. Plays games while on the job. Not on break, on the job.If you are a sane person who wants nice quality nails do not go to this place.
Id gone here for years adn was satisfied but in the last year the manicurist have become ruder by the minute. I had to walk out today before I lost it. I will never go back
Ok so I have been coming to this place for a little over 3 years ever since Ive moved into the neighborhood. I am a loyal customer of Selinas (the younger girl that speaks the most English there). She is very sweet and she does nails very well. I usually get a gel manicure and from time to time change it to acrylic tips with gel color/design but for the most part I usually keep them short. I have been asked by them to write a review for some time but now that I am extremely dissatisfied with their service I will be writing an HONEST review. I just came back from getting a fill in on my acrylic wrap nails and decided to do a simple french manicure and foot massage:1. Selina was always the one I would see until I started getting acrylic and she said that she no longer does acrylic nails because she has some sort of allergic reaction...........ok yet i see her doing other clients nails that include acrylic. The lady in which she referred me to see is apparently the only one who does acrylic nail (Ada). She is very rough with the little machine and she doesnt understand a word of what Im saying. Listen, I am all about everyone working and doing what they need to do but I really dont find it conducive to a business that operates in the financial district and only relies on one person to translate everything. It doesnt make for efficient work and the client is not able to communicate with their nail technician what they would like without disturbing the only one who speaks English. I find this time consuming and makes the unnecessary frustration. With Ada doing my nails (about 1 year now) there have been far too many instances where I tell her to cool it with the machine or not be so rough and she doesnt understand. I know it can seem like Im being snobby when I ask another to come and translate for but honestly this is just unacceptable. Lets remember theyre not cheap. With that being said, I would think that they would take a little more precision and time to make sure that your nails come out clean. I just walked out of the salon not even an hour ago and my french gel clear coat on my left hand looks like a 3 year old painted my nails where it is not smooth at all and the lines are not clean. I couldve easily asked the lady to do my nails again (three fingers on my left hand) but at this point the nails were dry (i noticed once my hand was out the UV light) and I was fed up with how they operate so I didnt want to bother with asking them to repair something once again.I dont mean to tell anyone to do their job but if there are many negative reviews, its for a reason. I really do believe they have the potential to do great work but I think in their part they should at least understand a little more than basic English in order to have a better communication with each client. Its frustrating to the customer to walk out of there paying a very high price for mediocre service. Its safe to say I will be commuting a bit farther to find another nail salon as I am just disappointed with how they function.
I come here every 3 weeks for a filling on my nails, they do a great job π.
This place should get a negative 10. Cannot express in words how bad the service is. I can tolerate rudeness if at the very least the service is of quality. Thank goodness I went for a regular Mani pedi and didnt spend an arm and a leg. I was in a rush and had never been here before and it looked like it had space. But never again. In short, instead of a mani-pedi it was a color change service that they provided. The person had the audacity to lie on my face that she cut cuticles when she clearly hadnt when asked, and also when I put in the tip amount of exactly 15% she had the audacity to come and ask me to increase it to 20%, she stood there making sure I cross it out. They really need to shut this place down given the variety and quality we get in NY. Save your money and go somewhere else.
No frills place and ladies working there are kind. They donβt all speak English well, but Iβm patient and doesnβt bother me. I pay $47 for gel nails and regular pedicure. They are quick and I can usually get it done during my lunch.UPDATE: This was my go to spot but Im not going back. I asked if it was possible to get a gel fill and the lady said yes. I asked multiple times to make sure it was possible. Lady started to use the machine to take off the gel (which I honestly dont like cuz it really thins my nails). Halfway done...she says its not possible and I have to pay for a whole new gel set...I didnt get visibly mad but Im still mad two weeks later. I normally have thick nails but my nails are painfully thin. I took off the gel since it chipped two days after they did it and I have to take a break since my nails are still messed up. Prices are cheap, but so is their service!! Dont go here.
Horrible nail salon. Not clean and staff is very rude. Was charged 88$ (Including tip) for a gel mani pedi, after lily the nail tech asked another tech how much to charge me. Left with lint stuck in my gel manicure and bubbles. Left lily a 15$ tip which is more than 20% of the charge before tax and she then demanded another 2$. I should have tipped 5 due to the horrible job she did on my nails since Iβm going to have to go somewhere else tomorrow for my manicure to be fixed. Toes came out decent. She didnβt push back my cuticles. Will not come again.
Was the worst experience at a nail salon. Rushed, rough, trying to up sell more than once, not friendly, manicure caked on so took over an hour to dry. Would not recommend to anyone. Certainly the worst service.
Nail tech Amy was unkind and rough with me throughout my entire visit. I asked for a third coat since I chose a light color and she gave me much attitude before speaking about me in her native tongue. Needless to say today was my last visit.
I always come here for the basic mani pedi deal for under $30. They always give me great service and I usually never wait longer than 10 minutes to get a pedi. Love them!!
The polish last long and the service is friendly
The manger needs to seriously talk to their employees I had a lady name Julie. I went in to get a gel mani and regular pedicure,=47$.The lady was yes nice, she did my pedicure ok not so good I had to tell her to clean inside my toes good several times and also didnβt do a good paint job. Then my gel mani was sloppy, it was done a half job. What made me more upset was when I paid with my debit card I gave her the rest of my cash. Her whole attitude changed, she got real nasty she said that I need to give her 10$ tip,. The point isnβt the tip but what she said and how, first off with the job she did she didnβt even deserve a tip in the first place. So she should have been happy with what I gave her, I will never come here again !!
This place is absolutely awful. Rude staff and your nails will break in two days if you get the dip.
Last time I went, they made my cuticles bleed then had the nerve to reprimand me for giving 15% instead of a 20% tip. Definitely wont be going back again. All employees will try to push more expensive services on you; You have to do the spa pedicure. Offering once is fine but I shouldnt have to argue to stick with a basic mani pedi.
I love it here.. cheap.. quick.. good job..nails/toes stay nice for a long period of time!!
Wish I had read the reviews before going in. 30mins mani pedi I could have done better at home. No frills, minimum service kind of place. Dont go here unless youre desperate.
Friendly and spacious place, quality of manicure was good
Does not give pick good pedicures and manicures in your step and does not disinfect feet
I definitely would not recommend using this place. Decided to go in for a mani/pedi, but they tried to upsell my service *at least* five times. It really made it hard to enjoy my experience because I had to continually say no to extra treatments. I also noticed that my pedicure was especially painful when she was pushing back my cuticles and going around my nail. Now, two days later, my toe is swollen and hurts. Just go somewhere else, there are great salons very close to here.
This place is horrible, I went today to do a acrylic filling and gel polish done . They charge me $52.50 now Iβm not complaining about the prize, Iβm just disappointed on the service and the horrible job they did, my nails look like a 5 year old did my nails, very disappointing one thing I know I wonβt be coming back ever again and I wonβt recommend this place at all .
I love how they do my nails here..
No. Just. No.They used what I thought was a buffer on my NATURAL nails on hands and feet. It was a sander. I am still growing out the permanently scratched nails two months later,
Very good service very nice people i like being treated like a man lol. Go here
NEVER AGAIN. Horrible service and I believe I went to someone that was part of management which to me makes matters worst. I will never return back to this place. The lady was very rude and didnt do a good job on my manicure. I complained after I finished drying my nails.
Clean & friendly service.
Although the people are friendly, they never give me what I ask.Example 1: When I asked for a mani-pedi, I wanted the same color on my fingers and toes. They said that toe and nail polish are different so they would get me colors that would match the most. My nails were nude color (the color I wanted) but my toes were gray. They did not match at all!Example 2: I went back and asked for pink fade nails: pink towards the nail bed and off-white towards the tip. However, they winded up polishing my entire nail pink and the coating isnt the same for my nails, causing them to be different colors. They blamed the difference in coloration on my natural nail color. In addtion, after I left, I noticed that the edges of some of my nails were not polished. They try to rush so that can ensure quick complete which makes their work subpar. I think that its ridiculious that they do not just give me the colors that I ask for; what I say seems to go in one ear and out the other. They only do what seems to suit them... Its pretty annoying.
Good service! Very accommodating and friendly staff.
Never going back π‘Workers look at you like you are crazy n they talk about people badly in their language.
Dont go there if you are heavyweight. The girls snicker and laugh at you and talk about you in their language. I stopped going. Why pay my money to be disrespected.
Just had a meni / pedi with fiona.. very rushed.. she didnt pay too much attention and wasnt gentle at all. Kept trying to push additional services like massages and spa and insisted I pay her directly at the end instead of at the cash register.
I am a student of Pace University and my university is located in downtown Manhattan not far away from this Nail Place. I had couple times manicure there but today I went again and had the worst experince. The Chinese lady was rude to me. She hurt my nails when she moved the caticula. She spoke about me some nasty things in Chinese. I am glad I undestood some of this. I would never definitly come back to this place.
Will never go back. Scalded by hot water, nails cut painfully short, horrible incomplete paint job, rude service
I was just walking. By and happened to see. This spot walked in right on there closing time they stilll did my mani and didnt push me out she was gentle took her time very plesent nice selection of Nail polish I was the last person in she stayed wayyy over closing time untilll she made sure each And every last nail was dryy for sure :)
Not a very clean nail salon at all. The people who work there are impatient and do half assed jobs. Then again their prices are the cheapest in the neighborhood, I guess you get what you pay for.I got acrylic tips the other day and the only person there who seems to do them (Sammy) did them in record time, I guess thats why they came out so crappy. Lumpy, all different lengths and the worst part is she let the acrylic dry underneath the nail and it stuck to my finger. An absolutely HORRIBLE job, wish I inspected them before I left. I would have demanded a refund.
WORST ever! My toes were awful, smudged and puckered then I was harassed for only leaving a 15% tip. Plus it took forever. I also doubt their hygiene. Go anyplace else!!!
Very cheap place but you know why : they donβt even put polish on your entire nail !! Iβm not sure it will last a week.
Should be Zero stars. The nail tech asked me if I live or work nearby. I tell her both. She asked me if I lived at Smith House. I ask her, what is Smith House. She replied, The projects!!! I was so offended. When I ask why she would suggest that she starts acting like her English got worst all of a sudden. They dont do a good enough job to insult me. They dont know how to file real nails into shape. I asked for almond shape and this is the 2nd time the girl behind the counter had to fix. Look at my left hand (the tech destroyed) and then the right the counter girl did. My left looks like I climbed out of a well. Never coming back!
Always great service.
Good costumer service, and good staff
Horrible service and extremely rude staff
Worse salon ever!! I paid 75$ for French tip acrylic nails and French tips On my toes. Its been a week in a half and my nails are already breaking/cracking and my toes are uneven !Extremely over priced and they rush! Do not go here!!
Horrible service, went for mani and pedicure. Sucks !!
Horrible service and thiefβs 70 dollars for a bad job!
Horrible customer service, even worse manicure pedicure, please save yourself the pain and bloody cuticles
Im there for a weekly massage.
Very rude and the price itβs too high I give one of them 10$ tips for manicure and she told me that very low and asked me for more never I will be back there
Fast, neat and affordable
