Wednesday August 11, my birthday, got a pedicure and manicure. Photos taken today, Saturday, August 14. Polish is already coming off. Also, I didnt receive the discount that was promised on my next visit. Im so disappointed that I have to spend MORE money to fix what shouldnt be happening. I will admit the nail tech was nice. Pretty decent atmosphere, and theyre cleanly.

Worst experiences ever. The lady that did my pedicure did not want to give me what I wanted. Said her name was Lena. She rushed it, missed polish on 25% of my big toe and got mad after I tried telling her she was still doing it wrong. She offered to do it again while going off in the salon in her language, after someone else came and fixed it she walked past me and laughed, very very unprofessional. If I could give 0 stars I would, do not recommend. It’s always been a hit or miss but this time was disappointing to say the least. She also made my boyfriends big toe bleed and burned him with the hot towels. He’s scarred for life. Will not be going there again

I enjoy some of the work done here, Lena does a great job, but they are always over booked. Seeing that its popular I always make an appointment and no matter what they have me waiting for 40+ minutes. I came in here 2 days ago with an appointment and waited an hour and a half before I scheduled a new appointment and left without my nails done. Now Im here and still waiting 45 minutes. Whats the point of making an appointment when they will waste my time anyway?

Been going here for 7years and i wouldn’t go anywhere else Cathy is my favorite but all the girls and guys are as great everyone knows how to do nails and if you have Ingrowing toe nails this the best place to go

Ive been to this shop multiple times. Theres usually a wait but they have plenty of staff inside so they will get to you. They do really good work in there and they have a lot of colors to choose from whether youre doing a regular manicure or if youre doing gel or powder nails. They also have several workers in there that can do nail designs as well. Id recommend this shop.

So we just got into town from Georgia this afternoon, and i had broke my nail at 5:30 this morning!! So i went here to get it fixed! I HAVE NEVER IN MY LIFE BEEN TREATED SO BADLY!!! My husband we t in there and complained!! The guy said that i got my nails did somewhere else and wanted one fixed there!!! YEA GEORGIA!! My salon wasn’t open at 5:30 this morning!! SMH

Waited 40+ minutes to get my pedicure. Waited 40+ minutes to get my nails done and left without my nails done. I understand that it was a busy Saturday but just say we cannot take you if you are that overbooked and busy. I will not be returning. No one should go they are just money hungry.

People were somewhat nice but after a couple days the nail color is chipping and coming off. didn’t cover the whole nail when she did them. they’re now rounded on the end and definitely aren’t the best.

They were very clean and professional. The soft music was so relaxing. I love that they always asks if you are ok or if you need something to drink.

They skipped so many steps on my pedicure it was pitiful!!!! I looked around and everyone else was offered a complimentary beverage except for me..... smh

My pedicure service was rushed. Winnie did not listen to what I would like to get done. She clipped my toe nails down without asking me first if I would like them clipped. Afterwards, she didn’t help me put my flip flops back on. She was rude and unprofessional. Her tip reflected her rudeness.

I am a regular and my nails usually look great! I can go to any person and they all do quality work. They have been nice to me and professional. Great job!

I’ve been going here for years now. I have neurological issues which require gentleness. My favorite tech is “Wi” (prounounced We). He is intuitive, gentle and very much a perfectionist. I’ve never met a better nail tech He will give you an honest opinion. . I’m so blessed to have found him. KH

This place is the best nail salon in the area. I have tried many other locations and I’m upset with the outcome every time I do. I have been coming here for almost a decade and will continue to do so. Once you experience it, you’ll be a client for life.

The gentleman who did my nails was very friendly, and did a good job overall with my nails but I will not be returning due to my experience. He rushed so much I was in and out by 30 mins. He filed, cut my nails all out of order, and didn’t use cuticle remover. He rushed so much he cut me and bleed! Even after getting my nails done and primed, you can still see the blood. I added a photo to show with my white nails. He also gave me a poor message and then patted my hands with a hot towel. Made them slimy afterwards. Won’t recommend friends to come.

Highly recommend! Virtue pedicure was phenomenal: comfy chairs, kind technician, amazing massage!Took my parents and sister here for pedicures. We were greeted immediately, told it’d be a 5 minute wait and it was exactly! They ask if we’d like to all sit together or 2/2, which I was impressed with. Will definitely revisit when back in town!

My finger nails are my truest Vanity. Many black women invest in the hair as their crowning glory. So, consider my nails my claws for life.😉I rush to Virtue Nail from any location in town or out for my Nail Emergencies. And mine are natural and they respect that. Whatever I get myself into, the entire staff at Virtue Nails work together to bring me though with My nails the way I ask.

They did a amazing job but they charged me extra $25 for a gel pedicure. When there $45 pedicure says any polish included doesn’t mean their gel. I don’t think anyone wants to pay $70 for a pedicure.

First of all, this place is beautiful and super clean-VERY important! They have many technicians, so there is never a long wait. Everyone who works there is extremely skilled and very friendly. When I am there, I feel like a queen! I will not go anywhere else besides Virtue...it’s simply the best!!

Nail techs do an amazing job with gel manicures. The polish wont crack or chip for weeks. But they are not friendly at all. They also dont give any advice on the health of your nails. But Ive tried several other places and their work is the best, so I just have to deal.

Really nice and comfy decor, some of the best nail techs, but not friendly! Was a regular client for several years, and finally had enough of being treated rude. Nails are too pricey to be treated as though your time, business, and loyalty doesn’t matter.

Very disappointed in my most recent visit (1/15/20) I have had better experiences before so I am not going to give it a 1 star, however, the last two times I have been here I have been very dissatisfied.Tonight my manicurist rushed the entire service and was very sloppy with the gel application. There are lines showing and different nails had edges clearly missed. The hand massage at the end actually ended up being uncomfortable as he massage one part of my forearm repeatedly and with moderate/high pressure. He did not file my nails at the end so my nails have sharp points to them from the gel top coat.

I have had a nail condition since I was a child that causes my cuticles to over grow and can cause bad hang nails and bad nail splitting.And every time I go in to this salon the manicurists will speak in a disappointed tone - ooooh you bite yo nails... and having to explain everything to them and then have them look at me as if I’m lying has taken its toll. I don’t experience this behavior at any other salon. It’s embarrassing and humiliating. And even though they are in a Convenient location they’re poor professionalism has deterred me from ever returning again.

They charge a lot, and nail dont last that long.

So I just left this salon after having my second visit on Saturday (two days ago). I received the dip service on my nails and by Sunday I noticed a crack on one of the nails. I called and was told I could come back for a repair (expected). I planned to go back the following day on Monday to repair the one nail and notice three more had cracked before I arrived. I thought it must be the products because there is no other explanation. I did not want to have the same experience 24 hours later so I asked for a refund from Calvin Of course I was told no for ten minutes until another employee agreed to give me a refund. However I had to allow them to take my nails off or as Calvin put it return the “product” for a refund. I stated I did not want to sit for that long and have my nails removed seeing as though this was not my fault. However he made it clear that I didn’t have a choice. I allowed him to remove my nails so I could receive my $50 back (I only received $47). He then had the nerve to tell me to be honest and admit I wanted to keep my nails and get my money back. So not only was the product terrible I had to be humiliated and talked down to in front of a salon full of customers. Needless to say I will NEVER return to a place with terrible customer service and a lack of professionalism!

Great experience at the salon. Two weeks later my nails are still doing great! I got the basic gel manicure. Normally my nails last me about a week. Im very impressed by the quality.

I am very pleased with the services I get from here. I think all the technicians are pretty skilled and the atmosphere is really nice. I have an standing appt with Lina and I am always very pleased with my nails. I have referred several people to Virtue and feel confident I will continue to. Its the best place i have found that does a professional,job and provide a professional atmosphere as well.

Went in after church with my girlfriend to get a quick pedicure . We were immediately seated. There were a few people already seated for a pedicure, do I was hopefully to get in and out quickly. Several people were seated after us and were served before us. After sitting for an hour and a half we decided to leave. No one addressed us or asked why we were walking out with wet feet. I know my little money was a drop in the bucket for them but it’s the same color green; and it spends the same. I went across the street to their competitors and was served.

What a great experience! I was nervous when I saw how many people were there, but they got me in a chair and actually started work on me right away! The massage was WONDERFUL, and she took her time so that I could enjoy it. And for me, thats why I get a pedicure. (sure, I can paint my own toes, but the massage is what I come in for!)

I love this nail salon. Very professionally handled—no long waiting time and work is beautiful. My nails, hands and feet, have never looked better. Anna and Lena are terrific.

I’ve gone to this shop almost every 3 weeks for the last 4 years & been fairly happy though I don’t like having to wait a long time. I tried to avoid this by making an appointment but it didn’t seem to matter, I had to wait anyway. The last time I was there, I waited one hour. Now - you might think they might recognize me by now, I’ve been going there 4 years. But I got ignored & when I finally make a move like I’m leaving, they tell me ‘10 more minutes’ & then say & I quote, ‘Are you staying or going?’ Yep - plus they went up on their rates. Driving 40 minutes to get there, waiting so long & then being overcharged, I’m done. Looking for a new place.

A really nice manicure. I came in because I had had a terrible manicure at a different salon that lasted less than a week. Virtue Nail Huy(I think that is how you spell his name) took his time and gave me a really nice, unhurried manicure. Thank you.

They are racist to people of color and rude. Act like they can’t understand English. Oh, but they can. A man worker jumped in my face and the women if she had of listened I said I just want to be done. She then lied and said I didn’t want to pay. Honey paying is no problem for me I all I said is No more because she was scrubbing on top of my foot that hurt instead of nail. She kept saying you don’t want to pay and I was confused because that never crossed my mind. Then a short I guess Asian man jumped in my face saying you don’t want to pay. That never came from my mouth. I was so close I smelled his breathe. Thinking about pressing charges.

This was my first experience here. Everyone was very nice and Ny, my technician, did a wonderful job. She made my experience very relaxing and made my feet and hands look fresh and renewed.

Come in for acrylic an gel. Asked for French acrylic-she did regular. Asked to do natural arch on the nail, result -cactus needles. Before applying gel asked to push cuticles up. She didn’t do that, gel was applied halfway, result will need to do gel next week, since this looks like week old. Awful service and rude ppl that don’t want to listen to their customer and their needs. I felt like they were doing a favor for me.

My first time here and was a little nervous, but Winnie took care of me. She took her time doing pedi unlike the last place I went to. She made me feel comfortable with her sweet smile. Ill be back to see her for my mani and probably for both! Great atmosphere and all techs were friendly as well. Glad I stopped by.

BEST mani/pedi in Nashville! Professional, friendly and very talented staff. The salon is always very clean and they pride themselves on sterilizing all the utensils and placing a plastic cover in the foot baths, to keep their clients safe! Great place! I went earlier today and they did my nails crooked and i told them and they were rushing and they said have you payed and my little cousin said my sister paid and she said it again and the man that was doing our nails shouted in a rude voice and Shouted and said “i heard you” at innocent kids which were 14 so He stood up and was about to abuse my 21 year old cousin and he said you shut your mouth and he was screaming at us because of that and he was trying to charge is of more money Ams he clearly saw our recipe. I have been coming to that place and this is the first time overall i think he needs to be fired and we need our money back!

Burned me with hot towel while doing pedicure. messed up my toe nail and when repainted the lady didnt apply top coat. was very aggressive throughout the WHOLE pedicure process. even aggressive while putting my sandals on. very RUDE.

I been coming here for years....here lately the nails have been breaking with in days...and not just mine other people I know who go to the same place are breaking as well...I made an appointment for 12:00pm over a month ago and was told at almost 1pm that an appointment does not mean anything and basically I should just get my nails done by somebody else so I will and I highly suggest you do too unless you have 4 hours to spend at a nail shop spend way too much money and then have your nails break 2 days later....but I highly recommend no one goes here !!!

My friend had a appointment and she couldnt go so I went to get my nails done in her place. I let the girl Mylan know that I was there in her place but she refused to take me. She said she had another appointment in 20 minutes. Another lady without an appointment walked in and she took her. These people are very rude.

I had an appointment and one lady said she was doing my pedicure, but left me unattended to help another lady that came in later. My substitute seemed to be in a hurry and made a mess of my nails. Sorry I went and wont go again!

The place seemed nice enough and so did the staff but I couldnt say for sure because the only employee who spoke to me was angry and said about 2 words to me the whole. I dont even know how he knew which pedicure to give me because he never asked. Then he charged me a price in between the 2 prices of pedicures so I have no idea what I paid for. WORSE PLACE EVER!!!!!! KEPT ME HOSTAGE!!!!!I wish I didnt have to give them a star because they dont deserve it.Anyways, I never write reviews but I have to share my experience with them. I booked an appointment with them for medi and pedi. I got my pedi done just fine, I got my nails done by this rude lady that was super tired and didnt want to do my nails. She got up at least 20 times while doing my nails. The turn out on my nails was HORRIBLE. She cut my real nails super short, she filed them all cricket, she did a really horrible job. My sister was also with me, she asked for white tip nails, he put white tips on her and put on clear gel nail polish WITHOUT her permission, all she wanted was a $20 white tip full set, then brought her ticket to $40!!! So, the person I am, I never complain but I did call the salon because I didnt want to complain about it in front of everyone. The store owner was very nice about it over the phone, wanted me to go in for a refund to make me happy. I couldnt make it in that day so I went the next morning, I called before I went in and he said hell take my nails off and give me a refund, I was okay with that.I go in and hes being rude. He asked what the problem was with my nails, I explained. He tried to come up with every excuse in the world to not refund this money to me. I made it loud and clear that I dont like my nails. SO he agreed to take them off and refund the money. Then he hits me with You didnt pay for your pedicure which I did, in cash. I got frustrated at this point and said he can keep the money and ill just go on with my day.. I turn around to leave theres another man by the door with the door locked!!! Refused to let me out!!!!!!!!! I look over to the store owner and he has the audacity to be LAUGHING!!!!!!!! I was kept hostage up until I threatened to call the police. They started to speak Asian and he unlocked the door and yelled GO!! I have never experienced such horrible service. McDonalds has better service than they do.

Grrreat place for a FABulous Mani-Pedi

All very effciant. Arrived at a couple minutes before opening time. There was a short line. Manager drove up and let us all in. People continued to arrive. Manager asked everyone their needs and all were picking their colors. ALL nail techs moved quickly including the manage to prep for each customer. Within five minutes all were at their chairs soaking.At 17 minutes after opening I looked around and everyone, all calmly taken care of, all seemed very organized, many seemed to have appointments so manager jumped in to help so no one was waiting at all. Very impressive.Wi was effciant. Not parically friendly, but he was very focused on my pedicure so all good. I had a great conversation with a very nice young lady next to me. Wi did do a good job and I would go to him again.

If you had asked me yesterday, I would have recommended this place. Never again! This afternoon, the nail tech was rough with both my hands and feet, hateful, barely spoke to me and rushed me out. She did not correct a mistake that she made and left paint on my skin. I hate that I had this experience, because this was my go to place.

Horrible experience. Never going back. They tried to charge me more than it had said on the menu and when I brought it to the “manager’s” attention, he yelled and got an attitude with me.

Oct 12 when I first visited this salon I had an amazing nail tech and even rated them with 5 stars. I got a dip set at $45 as listed on the Pamphlet. However the last three times they behaved very underhanded with me by lying about the cost of my service to make money via a tip by charging me $5 extra. Last two times they said it was due to a cut down, but as far as I’m concerned that’s only with fake nails. Just a few technicians at this location speak and understand English very well and I am always respectful and patient with sharing with them how I want MY NAILS TO LOOK. I went in today doing NOTHING different and the gentleman says my service is $50. I ask for what, he says for cut down, special this and that...what??!. He then claimed that b/c I wasn’t told of the price before they began the work that it was for $50. I had him to pull up my first visit under my customer account showing the charge of $45. Then he claimed it was b/c my nails are long. I showed him a photo of my nails being longer on October 12 than they were today on Dec 6, 18. Just a bunch of lies and changes in the reasons claimed they try to hustle an extra $5 out of you none of which added up and none of what is specified on their literature. Every time I come here I tip however I notice that there is a trend within the Vietnamese culture to take advantage where they can and secondly treat black people with less attention to details than as with their white patrons. I didn’t want to take it there but this is what I’ve noticed in all the years that I’ve visited nail salons. There is typically a handful who’s very great at their work and the other few fly through your service, taking no mind that they are hurting your cuticles by scraping them and or cutting you. I had to make a fuss to not get robbed of my $5 like I was the last two times and the gentleman didn’t even have the decency to be patient as I requested a breakdown of the charges. Needless to say it’ll be the last time that I visit this location and to top that this won’t be the last place I share this review. For the managers your practices are despicable!

My Nail Stylist Anna is the Best. She always does an exceptional job with my mani-pedi.

I have been getting the mani/pedi there for the last 5 years and have been seeing the same nail technician for most of that time. Yes they are usually busy so I call ahead for an appointment.

This is my go to spot. They can get busy, but they dont let that keep them from giving you personal service and doing it well.

If you want to be treated like crap, have your nails look horrible, and get overcharged, this is the place for you! Also, be sure to talk to management about your bad experience, especially if you want to be accused of trying to get free services & argued with in front of the whole salon. Trashy place, trashy people - needs to be shut down for how dirty and unsterile it is.

Im very picky with my nails and they always take their time and get the job done right!! Wont go anywhere else!!!
