Angel is BOMB. I used to go to her back in the day and she was amazing until I gave my nails a break and stopped getting them done. The other day I went to a nail shop on Dickerson Road and got the worst full set of nails ever in the history of acrylic nails. The guy told me he owned an Asian restaurant, (he should stick to cooking) but did nails on the side. When he was done, my nails looked like a kindergartners macaroni art project. So a couple of days later I went to Nail World and without having to remove the ugly set, Angel worked her magic and simply fixed them.

Price is cheap. You get what you pay for. I asked them to cut my cuticles twice and she didn’t understand me. I asked to file the corners so it’s not sharp because there’s a baby at home and my nails are still sharp...and the manicure is not smooth...

I got a full set with Tommy a few days and it was an all around great experience! I didn’t even feel like I had been there a full hour. I’m picky about my nails and definitely will be going back!

There’s usually always a long wait at nail salons unless you have an appointment. However that wasn’t the case here. I waited maybe 10 minutes before getting a full set. The lady who did my nails was courteous and listened to what I wanted. I was very pleased with the outcome. I will definitely be back!

Got a fill-in after someone else messed my nails up. Nail world was fast, did a wonderful job, and they were extremely nice. Im happy with the way my nails turned out. They dont over charge for anything. Ill for sure be returning!

After a pedicure with Tina, you feel like a new woman (or man). I no longer get my hands done because it interferes with work. Tina is definitely worth the trip and the wait.

Yes I visited this place the workers are sweet but I had a very bad experience I was there for 2 hours before I even got services then in the mist of getting my service I guess the guy was tried my nails were not shaped right Nd on top of it all my nail kept bothering me had it removed Nd I got fungus on my nail so be carful were u get your nails and things done

This place used to be one of my favs but service was lacking my last visit. I showed a picture of what I wanted my nails to look like and the tech still did them according to what she felt like doing. When asked to correct them she gave me major attitude and told me not today cause they were closing soon. Mind you im spending $180+ dollars on my two teens nails which were perfect by the way(different tech- a man) and my own mani and pedi. How hard is it to follow a pic? Her response was she thought i wanted half a design. If the picture was a whole design why would i want half of the design? Bad experience to not get what i paid for. I will wait on the guy to do my nails next time if i decide to revisit but I left not being 100% satisfied this expensive visit.

I carried my three granddaughters there on June 3Rd on one only her nails painted the other two nails done waited and waited took like 3 hours.They are talking in their talk omg I got a headache listening to them .Not a clean place and unfriendly help.They need a buddy system to get people out the door.

This place has fantastic prices for the Nashville area and experienced technicians. If you are looking for a spa experience go to Green Hills, but if you just want good nails, this place is great.I just watched a technician so carefully put a little girl’s shoes on so her toenails wouldn’t get messed up:)

Rude, RuDe, RUDE!2.They accept appointments, but you are not guaranteed that it will be upheld. New comers are secondary to their “favorite” customer(s)3. The stations are a MESS! Not once while waiting did I see anyone clean their station or tools before starting on a new client4. Ben is the ONLY one who does full sets correctly!My Experience: I came to the shop at 4pm while waiting a young lady asked how long I had been waiting because she had an appointment at 4:30pm and it was 4:38pm. At 4:45pm two ladies walk in and are immediately seated for service one for a pedi and one being seated for a full set, the same service the young lady and I are waiting for. When I questioned why they were immediately seated I was told that they had appointments, are regulars, and that I should wait my turn.I will NEVER be returning

Nails nicely done

I went there 1-20-19 to get my nails done for my birthday.They wait was pretty long, but the lady was nice. I feel that the man did better than both of the women my I got a gel fill in and the nail is crooked and the gel polish is lumpy and I was confused on why . I am NEVER going there again I went with my friends and the two girls that had got theirs done by the man they looked good but the all of the other girls (3) plus me got our nails done by the women they didn’t look so good.

I have been a customer over the span of 11+ years. Excellent prices and services. I had the Deluxe Spa pedicure that included the traditional spa pedicure plus a salt scrub, clay mask and oil treatment. My feet and legs were baby soft and it was so relaxing. I went on a Friday afternoon and there was no wait. I also got a brow wax.

Sandy does amazing job & so does the younger girl that works there. They are all super friendly & always do a wonderful job on my nails.

Was told I could come in at 11:15 for a pedicure. At 12, I walked out after still not being seen.Appointments don’t really seem to matter.

I like Ben he is a very nice guy...5 stars for him... I wish they had a receptionist to handle clients for payments and other front desk duties... It needs to be better organized

When they are busy, they never do what you asknfor correctly or to the best that they can. I went in Yesterday to get me, and my two younger sisters nails done. Mine and my younger sisters were acrylics and my youngest sister was just getting painted, it took for ever to get it completely done but over all my nails arent the best by any means but if you get the chance to go when they arent busy thats the best time to go. Other than that they are great !

Pedicure great, manicure not so great

The technicians here are pretty friendly and provide decent service so long as you avoid Mai and Sandy. The price is right, but you get what you pay for. The shop could be cleaner, and they seem to prefer applying acrylic over caring for natural nails. I will say that Angel is one of the few people whos ever properly shaped/waxed my brows. I would still go here in a crunch at the end of the day, but its not my first choice for nail care anymore.

If i could give them negative stars i would. i got there around 2 and i waited an hour to get a set of acrylics and then one i got sat i was left there for 30 mins without anyone even talking to me. finally someone has say down and started my nails. they are all uneven, the polish isn’t even, she cut my skin. WORST OF ALL SHE STOPPED FILING MY ACRYLICS AND FILED HER BARE NAILS. she hurt me multiple times and this is the worst set of nails i’ve ever gotten

They was very unprofessional, the store close at 7:30 and I got there at 5, I wanted a certain lady to do my nails but she was taking a while with her other client so I went ahead and told the man that was working that he could do my nails, and he told me “no”, because I guess he got mad because I told him I wanted the other lady to do my nails, so he said no he not going to do them because he tired but how you tired if you was trying to do my nails at first, the place doesn’t close till 7:30 which mean he doesn’t get off until 7:30.

My girlfriend has been going there for years and she loves it. They do a great job for cheap. 😊

Since January Ive tried four different nail shops. Im very particular about my nails. Now, if youre looking for a shi-shi foo foo salon that looks glamorous with all the bells & whistles-- this aint it! NW is equivalent to a hole in the wall restaurant-- its old, run down, but the food is going to be banging every single time. Nail World is that equivalent in the nail industry.I can only speak to Sandy (Ive heard Ben is also good). Sandy is fast. Ive never been to a nail tech as efficient as her. She gets you in and out without making you feel rushed. And the quality doesnt lack just because shes fast. Not one cut cuticle. Not one blemish or smudge. I got long coffin nails and the shape is almost perfection. When your nail tech flips your hand over to file w/your fingers being upward, you know youve found the one. I believe Ms. Angel did my pedicure and she was great too. NW has been around a long time, so it looks like it. But my nails are bomb. I got a pedi, soak-off acrylic & fresh full set and was out of there in 2.5 hours. Oh, it does get busy. I showed up at 10AM on the dot on a Saturday thinking they open at 10 and it was already packed and a good 20-25 minute wait. They actually open at 9 on Saturdays. Ive finally found my nail place after six months.

Even though its dirty they do your nails so good and i recommend it love it

I asked for a take off and my nails were ripped using another nail and cut down without my permission. As she ripped off my pointer finger fake nail my real nail come off and I began to bleed and the nails tech tried to hide. She then put alcohol on the open wound. I asked her to soak off my nails 4 times and she finally did after ripping off my nail. They offered $5 off and even tho I was bleeding and my nails were cut down. I hate my nails. Don’t go there!!

Fast pace

Honey let me tell you something. The shop aesthetically is horrible. From first hand experience they do not clean the pedicure stations after each use and the hand stations have so much dust and matter on them its pathetic. Ive yet to see them clean any of the tools they use. They are not up to date on the latest styles and techniques by any means. it needs to be cleaned badly and Im quite surprised that codes hasnt come in and shut them down. If I could give them no stars I would.

My toes were perfect but my nails are lumpy and crooked. I asked the lady to make my acrylic thicker she had a attitude. I will only be going back for them to fix my nails

This salon is absolutely terrible & have no regard for the customer’s time AT ALL! I’ve visited twice now & both times was lied to about the wait (told “ten minute” as they told everyone—but waited 45 minutes the first time & 30 the second time) & nails didn’t even look that great while sitting in a dirty salon. After being told 10 minutes I said ok & walked next door to fax a document at FedEx, came back & was told that two customers were in front of me because I should’ve “told her where I was going.” Will never return.

No customer service

I love the fact its in walking distance from my apartment. And the prices are great!!!!!

When I walked in the supervisor was arguing with a customer about an issue that the customer had. I stood there for 5 min and no one greeted me. Following the discrepancy, I had been sitting for 20 min and a girl walks in asking for the same service I need done. The supervisor starts on her 5 min after the girl arrives. This is my 1st visit at this establishment& I felt unwanted& disrespected. The supervisor is unprofessional. Reviews on yelp are disappointing.

Took my daughter here first time visit..and definitely the last..the women were extremely rude from the moment we walked in till we left..my daughter asked for a mani and polish change..the lady rushed the whole time without even giving her a mani...and a horrid polish change.

First time coming here, not coming back. Did not get all the dirt from under my nails and left paint around the nail which looks blended with my nail color. Nail dust all over the counters and chairs, I didn’t want to sit. I had an appointment and had to wait 35 minutes, while other people who showed up went before me. Was rough on my hand and did other things in the middle of the manicure.

Just not pleased my last visit was a rush job and to go back for them to fix it is too much of a issue. I was a repeat customer but this is the third time I was not pleased the first two I allowed them to redo my nails but I think Ive given then two,too many chances.
