I told her I was running late and she was super understanding, when I arrived someone prepped me while she finished up. As always, my nails looked great!

Walked in on a Sunday afternoon at opening and was seen right away, no appointment. fabulous pedicure and eyebrow wax. atmosphere is calm and peaceful and their massage chairs actually do what theyre supposed to. reasonable prices and excellent service. this is my new nail salon!

Pedicure was good. Then the female nail tech literally shaved off part of my skin with the drill when filing my nail prior to doing the gel manicure. It, of course, bled the entire rest of the manicure. She then had the audacity to make comments about how “I must just bleed a lot.” No, you literally shaved off my skin. No offer or discount. No real apology. Don’t go here.

If I could give this place 0 stars, believe me I would. I was here last Thursday and the guy doing my nails was a nightmare. First of all, I explained exactly what I wanted (I’ve been getting my nails done for over 10 years so I know what I’m talking about) and he could not understand what I wanted so I pretty much had to get my nails done in a way I didn’t want. Then once he started doing my nails he was so rough it felt like he was about to rip my natural nail off. So painful. So I asked him to please be more gentle. Either he was ignoring me or couldn’t hear me so I repeated myself... 3 more times to no avail. On top of that, the shape of the nails were horrible and they were way too thin. I knew when I left I would be back since the nails were so thin and they would break. One day after I got them done 1 nail broke, then the next day another broke, and then the next day a third one broke ( I was putting a pillow into a pillow case when it broke). So I came back today (Monday) to get 3 nails fixed. They told me it would be $25 to fix them.. I got the full set done for $50. I have never been more annoyed with a salon. Do not come here if you value your time and money.

I made an appointment for 5:45 to get a manicure, I showed up on time and was told even with my appointment, I had to wait 45 minutes. The staff was rude and unprofessional. I do not recommend!

Lovely experience! Not from the area and I came here with a friend while we were vacationing. Felt like I was listened to when asking about the length of my nails and the French tip thickness. She took her time on my nails making sure to get everything right. Reasonable pricing and great service! I was relaxed and didn’t feel like I was rushed. Definitely a pampering experience and will recommend anyone to try this place!

I recently went here and the service is nice but they were rushing on me. I never had a nail tech rush on my nails so fast to get another customer in the chair who has only been waiting for 5min. I understand your regular clients but geesh I’m paying as well for my service. Moral of the story they over charged me for something I said not to do.

They always take great care of me when I go. They also have free drinks and really cool message chairs.

This salon is WAY over priced for the services you receive. I paid $95 for a basic pedicure and a dip manicure. When I left, my toes had polish on them instead of the nail and my hands were the same. It also took 3 hours, not including wait time.

A beautiful nail salon and very chic. Its a decently priced place for a special occasion. I enjoyed the job that was performed and my nail polish was really well done. If Im ever back in Nashville Ill definitely stop back in if Ive got the time and money.

The manager did my pink and white acrylics and did an amazing job i love them and they fit me in the night before Easter right before closing even though they had be extremely busy she made so that I would be taking care of that was so kind will definitely be back 💜

Delia and Kim did an amazing job! The shop was clean and everyone was friendly. They were fast too. It was 65 for a long almond gel full set, which is a good price for the quality.

Was told over the phone it was no wait time I got their n had to wait over 35 mins and when I asked how much longer 45 mins later she turned her nose n said 30 more mins.

My favorite nail salon! Everyone is always so kind and accommodating. They can do nail designs and are always willing to try something new for me! Also, the decor and cleanliness is superb. Highly recommend

Im going back today in hopes to have my pedicure and pink and whites fixed! The edges are raised and bumpy, the tips are scratchy! There is stuff all on My cuticles and I also asked,for them to be trimmed which was not done either. My pedicure looks like I done it myself cause after she scrubbed my feet which was great she started painting. No too coat was used.! She missed several steps that I only thought about after I left. I arrived at 10 and her employees didnt show up until as I was leaving which was about 1pm. Maybe that had her frazzled and missing steps. I will update after I leave there. I really like the environment! Very soothing and relaxing. Also I didnt try it but they have essential oils and herbal treatments. These were not offered to me but I noticed them as I was leaving.

I am usually not one to write reviews but this was the worst nail experience I’ve ever had. My nails turned out awful and even after saying something they kept saying they look good. They didn’t even take off all my old dip polish, just put the new over it. I left the salon crying and out $75.

For my short simple clear acrylic nail to 55 dollars they look horrible, I have a cut on every other finger . 2 in a half hours getting something so simple to look a mess and get cut . DONT GO HERE GUYS..

I asked for long coffin and got short square then was charged $80 and nail tech was very rude and didn’t bother to apologize or fix them! came in with two other people and they canceled because it took so long, 1/10 DO NOT RECOMMEND

Lack of communication only one person speaks English. Unsanitary equipment (reused fill on toes). Once done left me in chair and started on another client with no further instructions.

I’m not from the area, came to this salon, left not satisfied at all. My service was the dip powder, tips of my finger nails are showing, some fingers have gaps of dip powder therefore you can see right through to my nails and one finger is even lighter than the other, I guess he didn’t do a second layer of dip powder, the young guy that did my nails, I felt he rushed. I won’t be coming back here.

I loved it the moment I walked in. I’m not from the area, different state all together. So I was exited to find a place open especially right now. Decided on getting a pedi too !!!!! Very open and spacious. Very nice staff. The decor is so relaxing. I’m sure they get crazy busy, but I probably still wouldnt mind that either. Much needed pampering today. Nice to relax. Definitely would recommend this place to anyone.

I had a mani/pedi with two other people in my group. Most of the employees did a good job, but do not get service from Lee. I think she might be the owner.Overall, the interior is relaxing and the price was average. I had a bad experience with the nail tech who did my manicure. The tech took off their name tag, but I believe her name was Lee. Lee did not seem very professional and did a poor quality job. She seemed in a hurry, my manicure looks uneven, splotchy, and there was polish all over my hands when I left. I got French tips, and it looks like a 8 year did them.My friend got the same nail tech, Lee, for a pedicure and Lee messed up 3 times and had to start over, the color was uneven on each nail.I feel upset that I went to get my nails done professionally for a wedding and they look so bad.On the contrary, my toes turned out great and the other nail tech did a good job on my pedicure.

They were so helpful when I couldnt decide what color I wanted! They told me to just take my time and they painted several colors on tips so I could see what they looked like better. Never going anywhere else!

Nooooo. Don’t. This man put a tip on top of my old tip on three nails. Didn’t take my previous dip all the way off. Glued the tips on anyway on top of all of it. Couldn’t get the shape right after me saying three times that I didn’t like the shape. Left crusted up powder and adhesive all over my fingers. Go to comfy nails zone.

I asked for a mani/pedi. Both services were horribly inferior to any services I have received elsewhere, I was cut on both my feet and hand cuticles, and the technician didnt even listen to how I wanted my nails cut/filed. I will never go back!

Less than a week after I got sns dip, 3 nails cracked. When I went to go back to get them fixed, I was charged and he did it so fast so as not to even be bothered, kept burning me with the drill and the 3 that were fixed look worse. I had to go home and refile each of them after the initial dip was done. Yea will definitely not be returning. Not a happy girl here.

I had Lee do my nails, and I loved it!! She got me in a chair very quickly and did an amazing job on my nails. She gave me exactly what I wanted, and I can’t wait to come back!!

I’m not from the area and needed to get my nails done. Randomly came across this place and decided to give it a try. Amber was my nail technician and she did an absolutely wonderful job. She was polite and very professional. I can easily say this is the best my nails have ever looked. I will be coming back anytime I’m in Nashville.

Came here on a Sunday to get a pedicure. Got the $45 deluxe one. Didnt have to wait in line. Was serviced immediately. Beverages available. The staff was kind and polite. They have a great selection of gels and polishes to choose from! I loved my pedicure! It was neat and pretty! Atmosphere was a comfortable temperature and relaxing! I definitely recommend this place!

I’ve never posted a review for anything but don’t go here! Twice in the past year, I’ve had a fungus under my acrylic nails and the nail tech would just tell me that nothing was wrong and continue doing my nails. Whenever I’d ask to speak to the owner they would always give excuses of why I couldn’t. Don’t waste your money here.They fire their nail techs then let them come back months later.

This place takes pride in what they do. They took me right away on New Years Eve, they were fast and friendly. They did my nails just the way I wanted them done.

They put such a thick coat of Polish on my nails an hour after My manicure and this happens when I go to use the Bathroom Dont waste your money over Priced poor quality

Awful overall. My sister and I went and neither of us were satisfied. They didn’t speak to us at all, she filed my skin to get access nail polish off and before we finished she oiled (not lotion) my hands so much I could barely pick up my phone to leave, the oil was all over my ring which she purposely rubbed oil into my ring and told me it looked pretty now. My sister got a glitter nail and it looks like a child did it. The women next to me was unhappy as well. With so much competition in Spring Hill I assumed they would be so much better. $30 for gel polish only, I will not be going back.

Ill give 2 stars. Service was different because of my brown skin. Overall was not satisfied with my nails. The guy doing pedicures did a great job. Other than that 2 stars.

Tl;dr: it’s probably the cheapest manicure you’ll find in Nashville, but the jury’s still out as to if it’s worth the money.So first thing to know is that they make you pay like, mid-manicure, as they look over your shoulder to see how much you tip which is #superawkward! I guess 15% isn’t enough for a decent manicure that hasn’t happened yet, because there’s polish all over my hands, and yet there’s still spots they missed, and the dude left me under the drying light for a solid 17 minutes to play on his phone while the almost empty room listened to early 2000’s alt-rock and pop hits like Snow Patrol and Leona Lewis. Once the second round of “Bleeding Love” came on with no movement from my candy crush-playing manicurist in the corner, I finally checked myself to see if they were dry and left, because I have better things to do than sit alone staring at a wall remembering lyrics from adolescence.

What a gem! The Nail Place is not like a typical run down nail salon, it has a modern & elegant atmosphere. Alysa is the nail tech that assisted me, she was fabulous and took her time with me and did an amazing job.. The staff is very friendly, especially the boss.When I was getting my magnificent pedi, I over heard a complaint, she did not hesitate to fix the problem immediately and made her customer happy. Overall the experience was relaxing and the results were amazing, my nails have never looked better. I will definitely be back!

The posted hours of this business is 10am - 8pm. Toight, I walk in 6:30pm and am told, Were closed. Its a holiday. Its a FEDERAL holiday not a national holiday. Meaning businesses are open. Its fine if you want to close early, but you should have posted it on your website! Horrible customer service. I will not be returning.

I loved this place - cute and clean and not full of Buddha - The polish I got (by DC?) chipped all the way off the next day and I didn’t clean the house or anything - HOWEVER, it’s just about the polish and not about the service or results - I loved - the mani pedi was awesome, hospitality was wonderful - choose OPI polish and I’m sure you’ll be fine. I don’t like the gel or dip nail, so I just feel like OPI lasts.

Very cute salon, attentive and friendly staff. Love the mint colored chairs & pedicure seats. My manicure (which was well done) didnt even last 24 hours unfortunately, which is my low bar for an acceptable manicure (preferably lasts 3 days). The polish started peeling off at the edges and then came off in large sheets. Saw lots of women getting gel and acrylic, which are probably a better option here. If Im in Nashville Id go again, but wouldnt get another regular manicure.

This place is ridiculous! They do not honor the prices they quote. Charged $200 for absolutely NOTHING. All I have was a basic full set with gel polish and pedicure. I was charged $115... my grandmother received a BUFF AND SHINE! Gel polish. And pedicure she was charged $98! If you want to overspend for little to nothing be my guest! The lady told my grandmother that’s the prices in California!!!! THIS IS NOT CALIFORNIA!!

Found this gem last minute and all staff were willing to help me even though they were about to close. I had the pleasure of being taken care of by Re. And she was just as great as the set she done for me. I will definitely be back. Great customer service, great location & the cutest salon with a great selection of color choices!

Do Not Patronize this place! If I could give this place a 0 I would! I came in to get my nails repaired that they had just done like a week and a half ago. Well the wanted to charge me $40 for polish change and 2 nails. I said well maybe I should just get a full in because thats about the cost. I couldnt decide since I knew Id have to return. The lady was talking in her language and got up and walked off. The girl next to her says, Go down the street their cheaper! I was beyond insulted as I was only trying to decide what service made more sense. They are rude!

My go to salon when Im in Nashville!!! The only place I trust to do my acrylic nails. Every time they do a fabulous job (and do fun decals!). Would recommend to anyone who appreciates their acrylic nails done CORRECTLY and anyone who gets tired of people laughing at their crazy nail ideas.

I came in on a Friday afternoon to get a simple mani/pedi and had such a great experience! It had been a long time since Id gotten my nails professionally taken care of and Nick did such a wonderful job! Even though I just got the simplest package they offered, I still left feeling pampered and my nails look great, plus, they have a loyalty program thats free to sign up for, so Ill definitely be going back to earn those points! Today was my first visit to The Nail Place on 8th Ave South. My first impression was not very good when I pulled up because I had no idea where to park. There was curb parking and some spaces to the side of the building, but signs indicated they were designated for another business (once inside I found out I could in fact park in the spaces on the side of the building or at Dollar General across the street). It was very quiet this afternoon and not busy at all by the lady who did my full set overlay was very good and easy to speak with. When I left I asked her name, which was My (not sure of the spelling, but that is who it is pronounced). I think the prices were fair and I was happy with my service. I will most likely return and also recommend them to others.

I just recently moved here to Nashville, so I had no clue where to go because Im so picky with my nails. I had heard about this place because the sweet ladies that work here came into my job one day. Anyways, my nails are absolutely perfect and Im beyond satisfied. This will be my permanent Nashville nail salon.

WORST SALON EXPERIENCE EVER!!!!! I travel quite often for work but never experienced such terrible service and product. All the ladys working there had NO CLUE HOW to do The style of nail I had requested!! I had to SHAPE my own nails. Not even mention I was in the salon since 1pm to 5pm!!!! Worst experience ever!!! The employees were so rude and nasty!! Didnt listen to anything I was requesting. This is a beautiful place but definitely doesnt meet their expectations AT ALL!! DONT COME HERE!!

This place was very beautiful, clean and organized, the thing that very much sadden me was the fact I walked in, all the nail specialist look at me, not one person even said hello for at least 10 minutes. Finally the young man asked what service I needed I told him he told me color are over there, pick have a seat. No one explained or offered other services... I could go on but just waiting to see how my shellac pedicure goes.... Stay tuned.

I am so disappointed with this place. It’s really a shame because they are right up the street from me. I had two experiences with this spot.1st- Ree did my gel manicure and did great, they lasted over two weeks which was good.2nd time- Re had quit so she was not there anymore. Now this ya only been a lil over two weeks. So a lady name Lee I believe did my set. First off the set messed up the next day. One of the nails I was concerned about ended up peeling. So of course I went and they were not nice about fixing it and told me they would do it this one time but I have to pay the next. Remind you this was the very next day.3 days later, my thumb polish peels off. This time I went to a different spot that fixed it for $3. Also the polish was full.One week... a different nail messes up. I just rocked it out for a couple days then got a whole new gel set.Moral of this review is to not go to this shop. They are rude and don’t care nothing about customer service. Read the reviews, this place needs to be out of business. Seriously.

I am in love with this nail salon. The atmosphere is modern and very relaxing, the music is contemporary and soothing, and they offer herbal mani pedi. Best massage during a pedicure ever. I parked half a block down the road for convenience, but I think they have access to the lot across the street. Totally worth it. Will definitely be back, lots and lots. :) :) :)

Ive never written a review for anything in my life, but I was so Grossed out by this place I felt the need to let them/you know.When I first came in for my pedicure the woman was very nice until she tried to upsell me (which is totally fine!) and I politely said no thank you, Ill stick with this then she stopped talking to me completely.Then I got to the manicure station and it was covered in someones nail clippings, and the tools she used on my nails were so dirty good day literally left my nails dirtier than they were when I came in . Gross black residue of who knows what left in my nails, and of course the polish did not turn out well at all. Grossed out and disappointed

This was my first time going to the Nail Place under the new management and will be the last. These folks are rip offs! They make of prices. The fee and the service does not add up. They told me one thing when I called and charged me twice as much. No way will I go there again! Very disappointed!

I love this place!!! My aunt and I go very frequently. We love the pedicures and the manicures!!! You receive a nice leg and foot massage with your pedicure, Im a hair stylist so I need a good leg and foot massage!!!! But the ambience, is even better!!! It has that nice feng shui feel!!! Its very relaxing!! I purposely go when its quiet and there isnt a lot traffic!!! But you would love this place!!!!

Do not EVER go here for waxing. My eyebrows are butchered. They are so pencil thin to the point they are almost non-existent. Not to mention they are completely different shapes. Lee (the woman who waxed them) handed me the mirror and I bursted into tears. I mean i was devastated. I told them to please get my fiancé from the lobby and they had the audacity to tell me “no.” At that point he could hear me crying and was already on his way back. The staff tried to stop him but he pushed past them anyways. The manager was back there with Lee and I trying to tell me they didn’t take off that much. I told them this isn’t what I wanted and I wasn’t paying for this. My fiancé’s mouth was on the floor. I mean he was in complete shock and everyone in the lobby had horrified looks on their faces. They could all hear me crying. Save yourself the trauma and don’t EVER go here for waxing. It will take months for my eyebrows to grow back. Thank heavens I am good with dip brow gel.

Very rude . They do not treat every customer the same. The lady next to me had gotten a pedicure . They asked her if she wanted a beverage. Never asked me if I wanted anything! I requested a specific nail tech by name but they did not honor my wishes. The tech was present and was not busy at the time . Every tech is rude except this particular tech that I asked for.

Came in tonight to get my toenails done before a wedding that Im going to tomorrow out of state. My toenails are so short and honestly its the worst pedicure Ive ever seen in my life I will never come here again.

This was the worst pedicure ever. I was there with 2 friends (we had scheduled appointments) and we all ordered the same service, but each got something different. I wouldnt complain about that, but all three were bad. To top it all off, my toes look horrible & its been only a week. Ive never had a pedi last less than 3 weeks, ever!

NEVER go to The Nail Place on 8th Avenue!!!! That was the most painful and uncomfortable experience. The young guy that did my nails was creepy and inappropriate. My feet are all torn up, my nails are cut way too short and are uneven, the polish is uneven and is only in the middle of the nail not the full nail, and they didn’t clean it off of the skin.The nail tech made me feel so uncomfortable I needed to get out and couldn’t even bring myself to say anything to him. I called from my car where it was parked and they did not even apologize, they were immediately defensive and just said all I could do was come back and they would look at it, NOT EVEN FIX IT. Even when I told them my nail tech made me uncomfortable and hurt me and I didn’t want anyone touching me they still did not apologize or even feel bad. They got mad and told me to just come in for them to look at it.Horrible experience, a complete rip off (paid $52!!!), and very uncomfortable. I’m so upset.

These ladies are great. They stayed late/came in on their day off bc a bunch of us came in an hour before they closed.
