Ive been seeing Jesse for all my cut and color needs for about 4 years now. She is the best! I was nervous about doing a fantasy color with my hair because I had never done it before. But she talked me through the process and answered all my questions, and my hair turned out beautiful! She also styled my hair when I got married, and I loved it so much. Jesse is a very talented stylist and she answers any and all questions in a clear way.Zazu itself is awesome. Its very clean and well cared for with a friendly and helpful staff. I really appreciate the lengths theyve gone to to take precautions for COVID-19. I feel very safe visiting the salon since its not being over booked.

Looks can be very deceiving, do your research!!! Just because a stylist has been bleaching hair for years & charges a lot, does not mean they know what theyre doing. Went in for a silver stripe on my hair, instead my hair was absolutely RUINED. About 1/3 of the portion treated broke off on site & another 50% a few days later. Stylist never apologized & literally tried to play down the incident. I spoke with 2 other experts since & they both confirmed that my hair was over processed & the damage is irreversible. This was not the job of a so called professional/experienced stylist at all! I will never go back, Im traumatized of the damage caused to my hair & most importantly my appearance. Im living a nightmare & do not recommend this business for any color related services. They ruined my beautiful hair!!! The receptionist are super professional & Ill miss them but unfortunately I cant say the same about my personal stylist.

If I could leave zero stars I would, but the one star will be for the receptionist, Sam. I booked with Jessie, who was juggling multiple clients at once. She was dealing with bleach on my scalp, and hair. Her assistant did my toning. My hair ended up darker than what I came in with. Jessie rebleached it, saying it would still be healthy. It was destroyed. I had to go elsewhere to have them fix it, which meant cutting off 6 inches of hair. I am supposed to get married in 6 weeks, but now want to postpone it because my hair is so short. Jessie, if you’re reading this you legit ruined the happiest day of my life. Don’t overbook yourself if you can’t hang. I would have rather been rescheduled than have you destroy hair that took 19 months to get that healthy. This salon is all about the name, but clearly their stylists aren’t educated enough.

Great atmosphere and wonderful hair stylist throughout! Lexy is my hairstylist and I love her! She is amazingly talented! Her skills with hair color always exceed my expectations. What’s amazing is that she is always learning and adding to her skills. She’s honest too which I feel is so important in a hair stylist. If I come in there with a crazy idea she will tell me and I love that about her!

After so long, I am finally pleased to recommend Elle, the hairstylist who took the time to understand my requirements and rectify my hair color. I didnt feel rushed and enjoyed my time at the hair salon.

This salon is gorgeous! I was there today to have someone fix my hair after another stylist did a horrible job at another salon.

Decided to get balayage done for the first time here. Huge mistake. I had requested for a red color initially but all of it washed out after just 3 days (even though I had purchased the recommended shampoo) and it became a hideous bleach blonde (I have naturally black hair). Its also uneven all throughout. My 4 year old niece could have done a better job with hair color spray. I still tipped them very well since I know that these times are rough for everyone. When I tried calling them about my concerns they refused to help me out and said that I would need to pay more to get it fixed. I already threw $500 down the drain. Not doing that again. What a nightmare!

TAYLOR WAS AMAZING. After having virgin hair my whole life I had a different stylist give me a nightmare color. I was so nervous to let anyone even near my hair. Taylor was absolutely incredible!! Not only is she a GODESS with hair, she has an amazing personality and was so fun to work with! Probably one of the best ladies I’ve ever encountered in the service industry! I gave her card to so many friends and family! I will only go to her now!

A stylist at another salon had to cancel on me last minute and I needed my hair done. I had originally consulted with Brittany but she wasn’t at the salon that day. (Although the consultation went great and she seems like a great stylist too!)Nicole came through for me when I badly needed to get my hair done. I had dark roots that needed to be bleached and toned, and Nicole was able to see me the same day. I get the sense she’s great with blondes. She worked her magic and she actually managed to give me the exact same hair color I showed her from a photo. I would definitely go back. I had to fly out of town but I was impressed with her work and I wish I was still in Illinois right now so I could go in for another touch up when my roots grow out. She’s very confident with color and also really patient with all my questions, because I’m so nervous when it comes to getting my hair done with someone new!I was surprised she was able to get my hair done in such a short time. She was meticulous about the application of the toner and seems very detail oriented which is always appreciated.The salon has a good atmosphere and the receptionist at the front desk is super friendly and great with giving recommendations on the stylists who specialize in blonde hair.

I got my hair done by Leeza. I always love her work and I follow her on IG always a pleasure to have my hair done by her. And it always looks amazing! I leave happy always! Will come back for her whenever I need my hair done.

Hair cut was great, but my stylist was late. For the amount I paid for the cut, I would hope the stylist would be on time, especially as the first client of the day.

First time here yesterday. Courtney did my hair color yesterday and did a phenomenal job with the balayage. I went in with fried blonde and orangish streaks coming out from my last balayage and she completely re did the balayage to a nice warm brown with nice warm undertones. I’ve been complimented so many times since yesterday with how great the balayage turned out and how healthy my hair looks! I liked the salon too, it was nice and clean and I liked how it wasn’t loud and crowded. Def plan to come back again.

I originally went in for a manicure with added tips but when I got there she said they don’t do that. I was disappointed however we did a pedicure instead and Sylvia was fantastic. Very sweet and did a great job. It was very relaxing. I will definitely be back.

This was my first time at Zazu, I met Shannon and she did an amazing job with my hair. The color is beautiful and the haircut is amazing, (after washing my hair at home I’m even happier )I’m saying this because it happens that when you wash your hair is when you really know if the haircut was good or was just the blower what made your hair look good. Excellent customer service. I really recommend this place and Shannon.

So incredibly disappointed 😞 I had half brown half blonde hair from a split dye. I came in for just a cut at first and asked them if they could make my hair brown with very blunt contrasted money pieces in the front that would be blonde. They said they could do it so i come the next day. She made the blonde side more blonde and added what looks like blonde highlights to the brown side? Completely not what i asked for and didn’t match the picture at all. Cost me $300 and i only paid because i know it’s been hard on people lately. Also after being told they could make my hair the same color all around besides the blonde pieces, she tells me midway through that it’ll still be diff rent colors and it obviously is. So sad i cried in the car going home because i just wanted my hair to be pretty after messing it up. There’s no money pieces just a brown blonde blob of a mess. I hate my hair now

In order to do so, you must 1st think about your everyday hygiene. Taking care of your body actually affects how your hair looks/grows & how fast you lose it. In both men & women DHT is the biggest in hair loss, however other common daily tasks/factors will play a role in stressed/damaged hair. Zazu Salon has an extensive selection of products that will suit anyone(s) needs. No matter young or old, vegan or not, healthy concerns or not, colored hair etc, Zazu has it all. Their staff is highly educated on the ingredients needed for your application to bring your damaged hair back to life or keep your gorgeous hair looking great! Though products are only as good as the hair cut. The staff at Zazu is tops! Ive personally had cuts from several stylists both men & women. Each has their own unique way how they chose to cut/style. I find it vary interesting with the different variations. Lots of people chose to go cheap on a hair cut for $7-15 & I get it. People are on a budget kids etc. Not everyone can afford more. However you have to look at it like this. Your hair is a big part of your everyday confidence in life. How you walk out the door & present yourself says all. Women are usually stereotyped for that, however as a male in his 30s, I will say men are just as uptight but afraid to admit it. I dont care I wanna look good, even on my worst days haha. So with all said, I really enjoy the company & professional style cut at Zazu in Naperville. Such great people! Im always late & they still put up with me:) On a side note, because they are such great/professional people, I chose to offer em the opportunity to work with my newest company we just unveiled at the Chicago 2020 Boat show. Zazu Media helped us video a few things for our 1st project that changed the game after 90 years at the show! It was crazy to think we could pull it off - Joe, Samantha..def gave extra time on this vary different/unique project & much appreciated! I came here for a haircut (as a walk-in!) and was seen right away. My stylist, Joe, was amazing. He really took the time to understand my hair and what I wanted done. I cant recommend this salon and Joe highly enough.

I had a prenatal massage with Richelle and it was a wonderful experience. She was very knowledgeable and caring and walked me through what to expect from my appointment. She used the pregnancy body pillow, which made the massage very comfortable. I also had a choice of scented lotion/oil. Overall, she really helped me with my sore lower back and hips and the entire experience was very relaxing and worthwhile! I highly recommend Richelle and Zazu for all your massage needs!

I had a great experience at ZaZu!! I had a manicure and facial! Everyone was very professional and helpful! The facial was AMAZING!!! Melissa did a great job and gave awesome tips and advice on skin care. She recommended a few products to use at home and my skin has never felt this good!! I will be recommending ZaZu to everyone!!!

They have special junior stylist pricing on Sundays that is perfect for children, and the stylists have always been very accommodating for a kid & a dad at the salon.

I went for a change! The worse ever! Beginning after they blow dry, highlights look amazing days passmy hair has strands that highlights only went half or just the tip. It has all colors( because maybe bleach, washed to fast so I have orange pieces! They charged me more then 450 fora haircut horrible, highlights not even a learner will do and 3 products!NEVER ASK ABOUT PRODUCT WHILE DOING HAIR BECAUSE LATER THEY CHARGEYOU BECAUSE THEY USEDIT WHILEWASHINGYOURHAIR, crazyyyyy

The older reviews suggest this place was badly run and lacked stylists. Ive been there twice in the past year for a haircut and both times they were great. Its not cheap but it is a nice salon and its right in the heart of downtown Naperville so you have to expect that. I would go again for sure.

I just got my hair highlighted and cut with Allison and she did an amazing job! She had great communication skills and made sure we were on the same page with what I wanted to get done. I would 100% recommend her and the salon! It was super clean, organized, and a luxurious and fun experience. The assistant that worked on me, Toni, was amazing! Overall I had a wonderful experience and would recommend Zazu to anyone that wants their hair lightened/cut/styled. :)

I live on the East coast, but whenever I do business in the Chicago/Naperville area (2-3 times a year), I cancel my regular salon appointment to book an appointment with Zazu Salon Naperville. The atmosphere is very professional, and I always leave feeling and looking great!! Ive used 2 or 3 different stylists, and each one has been able to give me just the look I was going for.
