Been trying to get in contact with the leasing office to see if there is any availability and there has been no answer and after the 30th call, I decided to go up to the leasing office and to my surprise there is no one up there. I went on several different occasions and no one has been at the office. It’s already a red flag because if I can’t get in touch with you when I am inquiring about an apartment, it’s very telling of how you must treat your residents.

The renovations, new management and maintenance staff are awesome. I couldn’t have picked a better place to reside.

The property is very nice and is gated and secluded so it makes it a quiet place to live. I have had no problems since moving here. The apartments are very spacious and very nice. The property manager and property staff are all nice and very sweet and will take care of any problems that may happen, and they take care of you in a very timely manner. All in all the property and property manager are the best i have ever been apart of.

The best thing about these apartments is the staff. This is the worse experience I’ve ever had with an apartment. The VERY FIRST NIGHT I kept hear noise in my apartment like someone was breaking in, so I decide to get up and see where and what was the noise. I was in the kitchen and see a mice! Me and my girlfriend left home at 3 in the morning to buy a trap (spent over $100 by the time it was all said and done) thinking it was only one mice in the unit (something that we can deal with cause things happens sometimes right?). 1st thing the next morning we went to the rent office to inform them about the mouse we seen, she was so calm and just said “oh I have some traps in my office” (which means she knew it was infested) unfortunately we didn’t catch it the first night. So we go buy more traps and poison for the mice. We woke up the next morning all of the poison was gone and we caught the mice on our trap (we have 2 little girls ages 4 and 2). With a clean mind we thought we can finally enjoy our apartment, well we thought wrong. The next night we hear more mice (they were living in the wall!!!!) waking up the next morning with multiple mice squealing cause they were stuck on traps. We called maintenance so he could look at what we saw and he says “oh no I never seen an apartment with this many, all of them had them but this the worse I’ve seen” that led him to get the apartment manager so she could see it herself and she let us out of our lease(like I mentioned the staff is the best thing) I wouldn’t recommend these apartments to anyone especially not for the price their asking!!

I love these apartments they are very big and spacious!! The girl that sits at the front desk is very nice! Can’t afford the price but I do recommend!

The one star is for the apartment size. I would not recommend anyone to stay in Hillwood. My air has been out for months now each time I report this issue maintenance are sent out, but my air still doesn’t work when they leave. I reported back in February that my ceiling in my hall way bathroom is falling down I was told they would have the painters to come out to fix it and repaint. Still to this day no painters has been out. Also only one window in my whole apartment opens, I was told back in March they would have this taken care of still to this day I’m waiting. Kristen Taplin the apartment mgt. is the worst!!! She is very rude and always has this I don’t care look on her face when you are speaking to her about your concerns. Please don’t let her fool you she is very nice to start off. And I have pictures to show you if you don’t believe me....

I love my apartment home! The management and staff are excellent. The apartments are spacious and well maintained. Its like a little slice of heaven living here.♡♡♡♡♡

This place is the worst. Especially the property Manager Kristen Taplin. She is racist and unprofessional. On June 13, 2018 a tree limb fell on my car and damaged my driver side. I tried to call and email the leasing office of the incident but my efforts were ignored. I went down finally and talked to Kristen and she played stupid about what happened. The ambulance and Fire Department came out but not the police. She told me that since I moved here willingly that I was responsible for the tree limb falling on my car. She asked for my car insurance information but only said that it would be on file. She didnt try to talk to me in a civilized manner to come up with a simple solution even after having pictures of the damage. She insulted my intelligence to the maximum. Do not consider this place at all. These apartments are turning into the projects and they will not fix a thing but of course want their rent payment on time. If I had known that I would be treated like Alabama trash I would have never renewed my lease. I am a student in college and after all I had to have somewhere to live. College students please do not waste your money on this place. You are better off in the projects or on campus somewhere.

I absolutely hated staying out there. My apartment was infested with rats. I never experience anything like that In my life. My kids and I are traumatized from the rats. I’m a very clean ocd person so the rats were there before we got there. I later found out from maintenance that majority of everyone out there apartment had rats. I broke my lease within five months. On top of that my utilities was extremely high and my ac kept going out. The only thing management did was provide me with a fan which they took away a month later because another resident needed it. Please don’t move out there!!!

Maintenance is none existence... worst choice Ive made by moving back into an apartment. My stove have been without drip pans since Ive been here...been asking since I moved in...nothing but they want that rent on time..smh

Awful! Rats and high utilities. Move across the street to Zeldapointe instead.

Mold is everywhere throughout the apartment.. High power bill ... Water damage on roof... Gym room not up to dated.... The poor never is clean... Lived out there for a year n broke my lease cause its a horrible but quiet place to live

I cant wait until my lease is up!!! Gates are useless peppermint stick decorations. Trash buildup is ridiculous. Maintenance is non existent. Ive been without central air for 4 days now in the middle of summer with nothing more than a sappy apology, and still no ETA since we have no maintenance people. Its almost worth buying a billboard just to warn the entire city of Montgomery not to move here. Not even worth half the $805/month.

I would not recommend anyone to this property. The staff frequently change.The current manager is very rude.However the apartments would be great IF maintenance would fix then.Im a current tenant because my lease was dated wrong.I signed a 2year lease.I have not yet to see maintance fix any of my issues with the apartment.My dishwasher is rigged up to fit the space, so its not work properly.Its so much thats wrong.It sadden me management dont care what kind of living condition thier tentants live in.The rent out here WAY!!! TOO HIGH to be mistreated.My lease up in March I cant wait to move out this unprofessional MESS. ..***WARNING...DO NOT MOVE HERE....

Worst property manager ever no communication at All I constantly had to call I did an application paid the fee took her two weeks to get back with me told me I was unconditionally approved and never got back with me I would not suggest you apply here if your in a rush to move or trying to move at all

Nice and extremely clean

They change apartment managers often and each one is worst than the next, as far as getting things in the apartment fix. Sink holds water since I moved in, slow draining. My utilities closet has water damage and a foul smell. Ceiling water damage in my kids room. If upstairs over flood the toilet or tub it comes down the vent in the bathroom. Not enough parking or designated parking for residents. Not worth the money paid for rent. So called playground is on a hill and needs maintenance. By far my worst apartment and they refuse certified mail.
