Worst place I’ve ever been and I’ve been to many places. Let me name the ways:1. My appointment was at 10am. No one came until 10:20am.2. When he finally arrived, he basically chopped my nails down so they weren’t existent. And it hurt.3. He pushed back my cuticles very roughly and it hurt.4. I asked for dipping powder nails, and he did gel powder. When I asked about this because perhaps he misunderstood me, he said gel powder was better for me because my nails were so short. But HE CUT THEM! The gel powder is also $4 more than the dipping powder, but he said “they’re basically the same.”5. The brush he used to apply the gel powder was never cleaned after he used it on me. So did he clean it before he used it on me? Doubt it.6. He asked what shape I wanted. I said round. He said square was better for me and proceeded to make my nails square (most likely because it was time efficient). He made a few of my nails crooked. When I pointed it out, he didn’t fix it. (You can clearly see my thumb nails aren’t even matching in length and my left nail is not straight. The other photo shows my pointer and middle fingers are also not straight.)7. Then midway through my nails, he up and leaves without saying a word and I’m transferred to a different table. And someone else painted my nails.8. Then another person applied the top coat. Left me halfway through applying the top coat to answer the phone, then left again to play on his phone while my nails dried. Was also FaceTiming friends while painting my nails.9. And then as I left, I’m told I need to pay $52. I originally came in to pay $38 (price of a dipping powder set). Yeah. I paid $14 more than I planned.10. And then as I walked out, I’m told, “Let us know if you’re not happy and we’ll fix it.” Yeah no. I’m never coming back.

This is just terrible.. why are they circle-shaped? My only good experiences at this place have been with the older man. The rest of them sit on FaceTime while working on your nails and don’t focus.

I went to Glamour nails about a month ago. I called in an reserved an appointment. Once I got there. They asked me to choose a color which I did. I came in there at the said appointment time. They had me wait 30 minutes before I sat in the chair to get my pedicure. The person they assigned me didn’t know how to do gel pedicure. I spent 2 hours in that shop for something that should have been done in an hour. And I didn’t receive a massage as I was on a time crunch. I do feel as race played a big part of it. As other people who came in there to get the same service and were treated way better than me. I will not be returning

I called before arriving asking for a price of the services I wanted to receive I was ok with the price so I went in ! I get there and the man doing my nails is so rough and he cut my cuticles. He stops half way through for someone else to do my toes. After that he finishes my nails. At the time of payment Im told a completely different price I was over the phone ! I paid more than expected and when he brought my shoes over to the nail drying station he just throws my white vans all on the floor aggressively! Never going back! My nails are so ugly and poorly done !

My husband and I got pedicures. They did a great job. Relaxing & attentive.

I have gone to this nail salon several times and each time even if I have an appointment, I wait for a minimum of 30 minutes just for my services to begin. My services are interrupted each time because there are too many customers and not enough staff. Last time they did half of my manicure and had me sit and wait for 40 minutes for my pedicure to begin. After my pedicure I waited for another 20 minutes for them to finish my manicure. I was there for 3 hours getting a fill and a general pedicure. So unacceptable, I will literally never go here again.

Favorite place to get my nails done! I always request Dee, and she does an incredible job and is very detail oriented + always makes sure my nails are done to perfection and that I’m happy with them. My nails always last so long whenever I get them done here.

I don’t normally write reviews, let alone bad ones, but I feel strongly that I had received horrible service from Glamour Nails & Spa and want to prevent others from wasting their money in the future.Two weeks ago, I went to Glamour Nails & Spa to get dip done on my nails. The place looks impressive and the appointment went really well. When I get home, however, I notice that a nail has already chipped, less than an hour after my appointment. This continues until half my nails on either hand have at least some of the dip cracked off, and my nails start to break.I go back in a week later and they agree to do my nails for a $15 discount. My nails, which were long, had to be cut super short because half my nails had broken. Then, TWO DAYS after that appointment, the top layer of the dip starts to peal off. A week later (today) they are beginning to chip again.Never had such an awful experience with dip, or any nail service, in my life. Don’t waste your money on this place, there are way better out there.

Tiffany is my favorite nail technician I’ve ever found! My gel polish has never stayed on as long as it has with her doing my nails. She preps my nails to perfection which prevents my polish from lifting. She takes her time and pays close attention to every detail!

I was in a pinch and needed a fill on my pink and white full set. I am sad to say I was not happy with the overall experience. They are not the most outgoing which I can see coming off as rude, but I was ok without the small talk. It started off fine but got worse. He did not fill in the white tip, so now you can see my natural nail tip under the pink. And when shaping the nail cut the skin on the side of three of my fingers(see photo) it was a small cut but hurts like the dickens. I have had better experience and will wait to get into my usual salon next time. I am not telling people to not go, just be aware depending on the service requested. I can not speak for the other nail technicians, this was just my experience. Hope it helps you in making a decision.

Lack interpersonal communication skills, rushed on my nails even though I had an appointment, stopped several time to start or do a something on another client. My polish was lumpy and uneven, went back next day to get repainted. For the price the service should match so in this case you dont get what you pay for.

Glamour Nails in Plymouth is amazing!!! I used to go to another salon for ten years and they closed due to COVID. I found Glamour Nails and was first hesitant to go there due to some of the reviews, but I honestly think the reviews are BS. It’s probably from a disgruntled customer or someone having a bad day. The service was amazing, their color selection is larger than any I’ve seen anywhere else, and every person who works there knows what they are doing. They are up to date with all of the trends like ombré, marble nails, shellac, gel and dip, cats eye, etc. I’ve had every person that works there do my nails and they all have amazing talent. If one of them doesn’t know how to do something or has doubts about a design, they help each other to make it happen. I always want some kind of crazy design and they never disappoint!!! Very happy with the service and will be going every couple weeks for my fill! Also, shout out to Lana for doing my white marble nails today! She is very talented and so kind!!!

My friend and I had a wonderful experience here. This was one of the best pedicures we ever received. They were meticulous when applying the nail polish and used a vibrator tool to massage our feet which felt amazing. The massage chairs were great and they applied quick dry polish to our toenails after we had been sitting under the dryer. We will definitely be coming back!

They always get me in same day and do a nice job at a reasonable rate. Also, good ventilation so you don’t get a headache from the fumes. Friendly staff and love HGTV on in the background.

Jennifer did an excellent job removing my ingrown toenails, it was as pain free as possible! Have been to many other places where this was very painful but she did a great job and took her time.

My husband and I got pedicures and the customer service sucked. They were rushing because they wanted to grab lunch and she was leaving after our service, my husband had two nail techs do his feet, and the pedicure actually hurt! Please go somewhere else

Paid almost $140 for full set and pedi. You would think at that price customer service would be A1. Had 3 diffrent techs work on my nails. 1st one just decided what shape I want my nails for me even after I told him exactly how I wanted them shaped. The pedi was ok just not the full service im used to. Not a in depth pedicure. Just a soak basic scrub and clip, nail polish and a a generic foot massage with this wand thing. The salon it self was nice and the ladies that work there are nice. Just way too high prices for mediocre work in my opinion.

Glamour Nails did an amazing job with my gel manicure on a busy Saturday morning. The corners were well covered and overall the nails looked clean and crisp. They were very attentive to everyone coming in and efficiently multi-tasked during the different steps of my manicure. A day later I broke a nail and just went in today for a repair. The color was not matching due to some kind of chemical reaction that caused my polish color to change (was still beautiful). They woman put a fresh coat on each of my nails due to the color not matching. She was very friendly and patient and would not allow me to pay her for her great service. Will definitely be going back!

After calling multiple nearby nail salons this was the only place that could get 5 ladies in a few days in advance for manicures, including a child. They were nice, however charged each of us different prices when we each asked for a ‘manicure’, treated each of us differently in regards to lotioning/pampering/soaking hands or trimming cuticles. Some were charged $10 for a manicure some were charged $17. $10 is reasonable though. My nail technician pushed back my cuticles but did not paint to that line so my nails each look grown out upon leaving! It looks like I got a manicure a week ago, so I could have done that better myself. They were accommodating when it came to having a kid run around and play music so we appreciated that.

I went to Glamour Nails with a large bridal party group and had the worst experience. I was one of the 1st ones there but the last one to get started on. I then was the first one to be done with my services - how does that work? My pedicure lasted maybe 15 min. I am pregnant so I when I go for a pedicure, I want to relax and really soak in the massage but received nothing in that regards. It was quick and un-relaxing. My manicure was done so poorly, my cuticles and edges of my nails are now peeling off and the nails look like something my 5 year old could have painted. On top of that, my daughter was also part of the group and she had to wait 45 min before anyone started on her. I had to ask multiple times when someone was going to begin her pedicure and every time they said soon. 45 min is not soon. Overall, it was a huge disappointment. Im getting married next yr and this is not the location I will be going for my spa day.

I dont like leaving bad reviews, but my experience last night was awful. The man who ended up helping me was so rough with my hands. I am not joking when I say that 5 out of 10 of my nail beds still have dried blood on them from when he was sanding them (I was trying dipping powder for the first time). I kept saying Ouch and he finally told me that if I look away it wont hurt. I have so many questions about that logic. There was blood on my fingers and he didnt even apologize or change his technique at all. I still feel so grossed out, because instead of allowing me to go wash the blood off, he used a brush that obviously has not been sanitized to wipe off my fingers. Then, as though he just noticed the blood, he used a paper towel with hydrogen peroxide or something to wipe at the open cut (again, not gently) and it hurt! My friend was there with me and had a completely different (re: gentler) experience, so I dont know if its just this one man, but I wont be returning.

Super over priced! They don’t know how to do any designs or any special kind (ombré, chrome, etc) they also barely have any colors, my nails felt rushed, never coming again.

I got a pedicure and think it was too expensive ($32) for the service I received. The pedicurist was curt and actually scrubbed my feet so hard that they bled. However, the actual paint job was pretty good, until it smudged immediately after I left.

I get gel manicures here every 2 weeks. Vivian does a fantastic job. I wouldnt go anywhere or to anyone else to have my manicures done these days. Love that they have a guarantee that should your nails chip or peel within two weeks they will repair it for no cost.

The girls that worked with us were so much fun. My daughter and I LOVED our relaxing pedi. Best massage too! New favorite nail spa

One star because I can’t rate lower. The customer service was the worst of any nail salon I’ve been too. Extremely rude, did not not listen to what either me or my mother asked for. Very aggressive which caused my foot to swell up after my pedicure. Mediocre at best quality and the price is incredibly expensive.

Just another salon that practices quantity over quality ... My nails look nothing like the photo I showed the nail tech.. If you cant execute what your customer is requesting then say so. $35 for nothing. Someone find me a salon that actually cares if their customer leaves happy !! :(

I never write reviews for places but this place really irritated me! Do not go here for acrylic or gel nails!!!!! I got a whole new set of nails from them after they told me the place before did them wrong, and not even two months later they were all lifting and requiring replacements! I get them filled regularly by them and they should be lasting at least another month before I need a whole new set. Not helpful or nice at all when I called to explain this to them. I WILL NEVER GO HERE AGAIN! Plus they were all put on crooked.

This place is very strange! The employees are rude! I mean extremely pathetically rude! Ive been here 3 times in 3 years and Ill never be back unless its absolutely necessary. I said thank you to 3 people and got back a grunt or totality ignore your thanks lol. We were told it would be a wait of 15 to 20 minutes, and over an hour later 2 ladies walked in and said they had appointments and instantly went in. I get it, they had appointments, but so did we after that long hour wait! My friend and some other lady had already paid for pedicures and after an hour wait, another hour of getting fills, they had to get refunded for the pedicures because the salon took more people! Lol pathetic customer service, my nails were done good but the paint was chipped off 4 hours after lol. I would highly recommend not coming to this place. I never will

I called early in the morning and made an appointment for late afternoon (4pm) and was told it would give them plenty of time since they close at 5pm on Sundays. I arrived to my appt at 3:50 and checked in and was told to pick a color and wait. It got to be about 4:15 (which was fine because they were busy) and was seated at a manicure station. When it got to be after 4:30 and not one single person had acknowledged me, I got up and walked out. Not one person said anything to me, as if this happens all of the time. On top of all of this, they have a young boy handling all of the money and credit cards when people try to pay and leave. Very unprofessional and will not be going back.

I have been getting my nails done here for over five years and would not trust anyone else with the job. The staff here is wonderful and warm plus they do the best job of treating my hands and feet to perfect manicures and pedicures that last longer then any other place I have used in the past.

Took a long time to get through everything but Tiffany is really great, paid attention to detail, shes awesome.

The salon is always clean and the ladies are great at nails. They remember you from time to time. The spa pedicure is a great way to relax.

Violation of labor law requiring workers to be paid the minimum wage, which is $9.00 an hour (without tips) in MN, and time-and-a-half for putting in more than 40 hours a week, as well as giving meal and rest breaks. The salon operate from 10am to 9pm, thats 11hours per day, and theyre open 7 days a week.

Very rude service. There’s too many salons to get a manicure at for them to be rude to customers. I’ll be taking my business elsewhere! Don’t waste your money here.

Much like everyone else has been saying as well, my wait for my acrylic set was way too long! And a day or so after my service, 4 nails broke. As a licensed cosmetologist, I was horrified with their safety and sanitation, and extremely disappointed in the application of my acrylics. Shame to know I work next door to them...

Ive gone here a couple times now, and I am SO happy with my pink and white nails. I highly recommend Tommy, I specifically request him now. Hes very quiet and kind of surley and I find him a bit intimidating to talk to, but his quality is undeniable.The pedicures are the only thing I would skip here. For the price, I can think of a few other places that do better work. The pedicures here are sort of itemized so that you can get a basic, or a basic with a salt scrub on your legs, or the deluxe with is a lotion and hot towels after the salt scrub. For the same price at other nail salons, Ive gotten a better massage (not a silly jerking motion on my feet) and a hot stone massage included. I got the deluxe and my girl didnt even attempt to cut the sides of my nails (Im prone to ingrown toenails if I dont keep maintanence) or ask if I would like them cut. She just snipped my cuticles, cut the ends of my toenails and painted them (along with the spa treatments listed above). She seemed nice enough, but when I went here with two others, none of us were happy with our pedicures.Bottom line, This place is AMAZING for fingernails, but I go somewhere else for pedicures.

I took my daughter to Glamour Nails for her 11th birthday party. We showed up at 3:00pm for the birthday party and had called a few days prior to set up an appointment. When we showed up for our appointment, we waited for 1.5 hours at which time I was told that they would no longer be able to the girls pedicures and and manicures. They would only quickly paint their nails. So I had a group a girls crushed as they had to watch people walk in the door, people that DIS NOT HAVE APPINTMENTS, who were taken back immediately and not only got manicures but also got pedicures!The staff was rude, mean to not only myself but the girls as well. I had a 5 year old that began crying because they were so harsh with her.They cut one of the girls fingers and she was bleeding and then proceeded to pour acetone in the cut. THIS PLACE IS HORRIBLE! I will be filing a complaint with the BBB as they also have unsanitary conditions.

The hours listed for Saturday are incorrect. The place actually closes at 7 instead of 8. I was turned away at 7:15

Do NOT go here. I went in as a walk in today for a fill and a pedicure. While I waited two other ladies walked in. They left me to soak in the water for an HOUR without checking on me or anything. By the time they did check on me my water was cold and the two women that came AFTER ME were nearly done with their service. I just left without having anything done. When I called back to speak to a manager they were extremely rude and told me next time to make an appt. Again, TWO women came in AFTER me, both walk ins like myself.I will never give them my money again, and if you want quality service and a positive customer service experience, I suggest you dont either.

Very friendly and my gel turned out great! Even had a nail break terribly an hour before going in and Mary fixed it and made it look like it was never there. Will definitely go again!

Daughter loved the staff and the color selection

I took my daughter here for a mani/pedi for her 5th birthday and she had a blast. Very cute for a little girl but also fun for mom :-) They had child friendly princess mani/pedi chair and the technician who did her nails was very nice and patient.

Good place to go and relax with the girlfriend getting a pedicure lol! Great massaging chairs and friendly staff.

This has been my favorite spot so far for getting my nails done out of the Uptown/St Louis Park area. My gel lasted 4 weeks without a chip (even tho they were so grown out 😅). I’ve been to a few salons that only do 1 or 2 layers of gel and I’ve always gotten at least 2 or more layers. Can’t beat the prices either. I did get nicked once, but I think it was just the only lady who’s very particular.

Went in on a Saturday Afternoon with my 5yrs old for a Mother & Daughter Mani-Pedi. The girl that I got was trying to rush everything, from the Pedicure (exfoliation was just a quick up and down stroke for 2 seconds..was so hard on my calf when applying lotion, rubbing so quick and fast so the lotion will dry faster [was NOT consider a massage AT ALL! ] Did the exact same thing with my Manicure. I was NOT happy AT ALL but still trying to keep my cool and giving her a chance to do a better job butTHAT parently didnt happen. She didnt talk to me at all but keep speaking vietnamese to the worker next to her. She rushed me through the Nail Polish application and then just tell me to go sit by the fanning light. Didnt get no Have a good day or Thanks for coming OR ANYTHING.Now, the gal that did my daughters Mani-Pedi did such a poor job that the Nail Polish on my daughters pinky were all off and icky. I didnt wanna throw a fit in front of all these costumers and their kids so I just paid the gal and left. Never again am I going back to that place! Theyre all about QUANTITY work instead of QUALITY. Smh...!
