Paid extra for a French tip, they couldnt even cover the tip!! Then the top coat was all over my skin and doesnt cover the whole nail either. Then laughed and acted like oh thats normal. I know she saw it before I left to because she did a double take. They rush you into everything so I didnt even really get to check them. Rushed services for my pedicure, I was never asked what type of pedi pkg I wanted, or if I wanted my toe nails cut down or filed. She (the younger female) just started clipping away, but definitely asked if I wanted a manicure 🙄the nail techs don’t talk much except to each other in their own language, while pointing at our toes. They just seem like they don’t want to be here and have better things to do 🤷🏽‍♀️

First time going there and will NEVER GO BACK. This place is TERRIBLE. Charged premium prices for gel nails and pedicure polish I will be taking off TONIGHT. $85 down the drain. They did not disclose prices when we got there. I actually made an appointment at another salon with raving reviews. Instead of telling the truth when we arrived and say “we do not have you’re appointment”. They told us yes they have us on the books. 15 minutes into the service I was called by the salon I actually scheduled an appointment at. They said the mix up between salons happen all the time. People call the place with raving reviews and accidentally end up there. So they are getting TONS of business from the reviews of their competitor. Double check your where your appointment is actually at before coming here!

I came in for a gel polish manicure. Towels looked dirty and used. She didn’t sanitize between myself and last client. She used used utensils and file on me. She painted my nails horribly and not even the right color. Her hands looked filthy, especially under her nails and she kept digging her nails into my skin. I kept thinking, I should just get up and leave. In shock I guess. Doesn’t even deserve 1 star.

If ONLY I can attach pictures. I came in there for Mother’s Day to give my mom a good experience. The pedi was rushed and looked like something I could do a home.. now let’s get into the real deal. I got a simple white acrylic nail.. this lady not only cut my cuticles and made them bleed she was being sloppy and quick.. nails were crooked and bulky. I paid $100!! Y’all tomorrow I’m going in to get them removed.. and a refund!! Disgusting do not go there.

I went here to get my nails done and i got an infection and they cut my skin and i got the gel nails and they clip in like not even a day and i asked for black and they gave me navy blue i DONT recommend this place at all and my nails were the worse. dont waste your money. this place sucks.

I came in today to get my nail fixed and what should have only taken a few minutes, took an eternity and even after an eternity it still looked like trash. I asked the guy to redo my nail because he couldnt for the life of him file it right. After the second time, it still came out crooked and looks nothing like my other nails. Im not sure who or why anyone gave you guys a license to do nails. I will never come back here again. To make matters worse, I have to sit here and listen to you guys talk about me as if I did something wrong while you guys attempt to do your job right! In the end, Im almost late to work and now my middle finger looks like its pointing to the right all the time. Thank you so much Lexi Nails!

Before even sitting down, I showed them a picture and asked if she believed she could complete the set shown in the picture. Like always she said yes I sat down and immediately noticed she had cut me multiple times and was being very rough, after asking her multiple times to be gentle I still left with sore hands. Halfway through the original design she stated she cannot do it, I showed her a different picture and asked if this design was simpler. AGAIN she said yes and then immediately was doing the complete opposite of what I had asked.. at this point I was very frustrated and just wanted to walk out. I let her complete my nails and was very unhappy with the outcome. I will never return and I DO NOT recommend!

They were very friendly but the application of the nails was way too thick. She didnt take enough time doing my gel nails. She put gems on and they popped off leaving huge indents in my nails.. I am going to try other places. I didnt read the reviews. I absolutely am from this moment on.

This was the worst pedicure and not to mention The worst customer service I have ever experienced. They charged way more then what was posted in the salon. We brought 3 kids and didn’t bother to even ask the parents about extra services and just went forward in doing so. I went to have my gel removed from my nails, a basic manicure and eyebrows. The woman who did my nails was very nice. However, she rushed through my manicure. She didnt apply cuticle solution to one of my hands. I told her I didnt want gel. When I come back to my seat from washing my hands she has clear gel and the machine out. I tell her again. I do not want the gel. She then rushes to paint my nails and does not give a hand massage that is usually done with a manicure. Again the lady was very nice the service wasnt good. I was hoping this place would be great since I use the laundry mat next door to them on occasions.

The worst manicure ever!!!! Do not visit this salon unless you want to catch some infection. They didn’t use sanitized nail clippers or cuticle clippers. Didn’t properly clean the nail cuticle and was so rough on my nails that it hurt. Nails were cut in different sizes and still had old polish left. It was a waste of money. I will be filing a complaint with the MN BBB they better clean up because they will be hearing from me.

Charged $10 extra because the gel polish I chose was cat eye. No sign posted anywhere. Not told before she painted my nails. Mediocre polish job. Good massage. Still wont ever be back.

If I could give a nail shop negative stars, Lexi nails would get just that. I’ve gone here twice before and they were OK experiences. First two times my nails were crooked but I figured not enough to bother me or for anyone to notice. This third time not a single one of my nails matched. There were TWO ladies working on each of my hands both at different speeds. Not once did either of them check to see if the lengths were the same. They were so busy talking and for some reason in a rush to get me out my nails didn’t dry completely it looked like I have 5 glossy nails and 5 matte nails. I went back the next day because low and behold the paint started to chip. They “fixed” the lengths and honestly it was worse than before. Refused to take them off or give a refund. NEVER going back again.

Every design that I wanted that was very simple she told me she couldn’t do. so then I show her a picture of a flower and she said yes she could draw that. The price was doubled after the original price given the design was not a flower but lines, the top coat that’s clear is all over my skin and the rhinestones were placed as if she did it with her eyes closed, she got upset when I tried to say something about my disappointment . I will not be coming back here ever again

I never get pedicures but I knew the moment I sat down this was going to be a waste of money. Totally rushed, deluxe pedicure was over in less then 12 minutes. Got lotion all over me, the salon was legitimately dirty. It was close by so I wanted to give it a try, despite the low ratings. Heed the ratings. Dont waste your money. Very poor service. Spent $50 for 12 min.

I was just in this place I am not satisfied they do not wash their hands in between sets and I felt pressured into adding things on my nails, this feels like a total rip-off they do not explain how much money they keep adding to your nails without explaining so never again am I coming into this place again this is not the first time I have been ripped off here. HOW ARE YOU IN BUSINESS?!?Came in for a fill and pedi. I knew the second she started doing my feet that I was Not going to let her touch my hands. It was horrible. Cold water, rushed through it, asked stupid questions. It took her THREE TIMES to properly paint my toes without messing up. She kept having to remove the polish and start over. Not impressed and will not be returning. My cat could do better.

My first visit to this nail salon and maybe my last. I got gel nails, first time, and I was told for the $35.00 I was paying, the nails would last up to three weeks. Yes, ‘up to’ is the key here, however, the polish should have lasted more than one week. My nails started peeling at day 3. I do not recommend this place whatsoever. Maybe they are great for acrylics but not for gel. Disappointed.

Subpar service that is over priced. Place is outdated, owners/employees are rude. They talk non stop to each other and do not pay attention to what they are doing, I got charged $115 when I was told it was $80 upfront.. they laugh at your face when you ask them why so much.

Just took my two daughters here for pedicures. It was horrible! they rushed through the service in literally 15 minutes. Didnt bother to shape the nails, remove dead skin or calluses, and forgot top coat on one of them. Then they charged me more than they quoted on the phone. They were also rude! Never again. Not going back. The wait time was crazy for no one being there and there were marks on my nails and they “couldn’t see them”. It looked like my nails were two weeks old. I also wanted a dark purple color and he painted my nails black and said “it was close enough”. Very poor customer service.

I have already liked the convenience of going to Lexi nails, its right down the street from my home. I had a really great experience with the younger lady who did my nails, she was nice and did a good job. But after one day I had to go back because a diamond fell off, And I had to go back again a second time because my nails started chipping after the 3rd day (I got gel and they are suppose to last two weeks). I went back to get one of my nails chipped and then later that night I had another nail chipped. I spent $75 getting my nails done and I expected more out of the quality. I will not be going back to Lexi again.

Lady cut my finger and yelled at me when I was just sitting there getting my nails done by her. Then she glued my acrylics on all sideways. Never going back there

$45 for a pedicure. If I wanted to spend that much on a pedicure I would have stayed in uptown paid $37 and gotten a hot stone massage. Very dissatisfied with what I received.

I have went on two different occasions, both times left saying that my experience there was horrible. I get my nails done every two weeks faithfully, recently moved to Columbia Heights and was at Cub and spotted the nail salon in a cute little shopping center.First time i went i just got a basic fill no design nothing crazy. The selection of nail color is horrible. Very old and dried up if you want regular polish. But i get gel and they had the generic D & D colors, not the extended pack just basic colors. They rushed through my set, their shaping was quick and not done proper and their application of acrylic was thick. I also got my eyebrows waxed and they lady picked at my microbladding saying that i had a tough hair, and had to instruct her that it was Microbladding.I thought it was just me and so i brought in my roommate to give it a try as well to make sure it wasnt me or maybe a first time they didnt care about my loyalty and more about my money like the ones in the mall.This time i was going to spend more money thinking I would get a better experience. First I got a pedicure and asked for a regular. The lady rushed through my service and offered no massage. What nail salon charges $35 for a pedicure and it only covers paint, soak, and pumice stone. When i called her out on not offering a massage lotion hot rag or anything she acted like she not understand and so i repeated my self louder and got the attention of the Male working in there and he told me she wasnt done. So youre telling me your going to rub me down after there is wet paint on my toes (IM NOT NEW TO NAILS). Please not there are several others getting pedicures and are getting better service then me. Then the same lady did my nails, great attitude already present now she going to mess up my nails too.My Roommate is 3 people down getting a basic fill with black nail polish on. She comes to sit down by me super flustered and picking her nails. I asked her what is wrong and she just ignored me as she was clearly upset. When we got home she let it out. Her nails were thick, there was extra acrylic hanging off the sides, under it there was acrylic she had made her bleed at the cuticlesWrap up: If you dont look like you got money and will tip you will get horrible service.Side Note: I love getting my nails done and my budget biweekly is $120 and if you do a good job i pay mines proper! Not a great experience. They hurried their work and did an overall poor job. At time of checkout, the price sign clearly indicated $45 for mani-pedi but they said prices had changed and charged $55. Not worth it!

Very good service. Both mani & pedi very well done. My only suggestion is to tell the younger girls if they are going to camp on the phones, to get out of the sight of customers.

They do really bad job, I hated the service. They scraped my leg and never appolgized and it started to bleed. The way she did my nails are horrible. I will never do my service here again.they treat people unequal, that’s sad. They value tip over customer very disappointing.

Got a fill and one nail repair done on tuesday, and my nails are breaking off by Friday. It was the worst I have had. And the repair was crooked. I had to go home and file down. Will not be going back even though its close to my home. The fill was terrible.
