Julie is the best for eyelashes! But oh boy the nails...another story! I paid 90 bucks for some nails that popped off easy as hell. They were pretty the first day until the cuticle work showed. The have a variety of tips (c curve xl tips i love) but Didnt even last a refill. He flooded my cuticles so I had terrible lifting. There was lifting on the cuticle area and under the tip...thats why the nails popped off so easy! What a waste of money!

Took my daughter n I there, lots of thirsty dudes hangin around. Be careful tell your kids to not talk to strangers or try to be nice n polite. Keep your head down, mind your own business n keep it moving. I like Joe n Julie, most staff are pretty cool too. Would go again, but hopefully next time they wont allow to many extras just sitting around or hangin out. Especially with covid19. Gotta be strict n careful too. They should comply with the 6ft apart though.

They are fast. Its open through COVID. Always wear a mask. They are veey friendly. Its feels like home away from home. I would recommend even famous people coming here.

Some nail techs are good and can do what you ask for. Julie can do nails, lashes and brows. Very busy place so come prepared to wait.

Little concern about it being packed.Nails were nice but can work a little more into making lashes look natural. I also waited for service for about 30 minutes. They say appointments only but was accepting walk INS. Appointments still had a wait.

I love this place been going here for some yrs but I moved across the street from another nail shop that is so so expensive I hurry up and went back over north they is so affordable no covid fees but you do have to wear a mask and get there early cause they do be packed and they take there time and do a great job on your nails lashes and eye brows live it love it love it

When to get my lashes tinted and waxed no Tina in site. Then the lady who did do my eyebrows got an attitude cause I asked her to remove the tint cause it was too dark and boxed.

After going to Diamond nails for a long time I stopped going there and tried to go other places, because a lot of my friends are too bougie to go here. Well I live on the north side and its convenient. I found out when I went to other places they really didnt know how to do my nails with designs I liked. I decided to go back to Hong because she always makes me happy.. well for the most part. Lately when I have been going it has been so busy I just go to whoever is available and I am never disappointed. I wouldnt recommend you try and call to make an appointment because they will always tell you to come in even if there is a wait. Julie is a beast at yelling at people to stay for only 5 more minutes. Today was the first time I ever let Joe do my nails after a couple girls turned him down. He took longer than the girls but he made sure he filed my coffin nails to perfection and even got me to step out my comfort zone to try a color other than mood. I will go back to them faithfully. They even wax my eyebrows to perfection.. this will forever be my nail home. My only complaint is the nails brushes are never labeled for which are clean and which are dirty and sometimes one side will be completely empty. They have also been telling people to only wash hands with water leave the soap.

I hated waiting for 3hrs, but it was worth it. My nails 💅 are the bomb 💣

Horrendous experience. When I called they told me to come immediately, which I did. When I arrived 10 minutes later the shop was completely packed standing room only. There were at least 50 ppl in this tiny shop. No one was more than a foot or 2 apart. I had to wait 40 minutes to get a seat with one of the techs and she was so distracted by all the people hollering she barely asked me what I wanted done. Then she overcharged me for the worst acrylic fill/French manicure Ive ever gotten. If I wanted a bumpy sloppy crooked manicure I would have done it myself. She wouldnt refund my money or fix it the next day like she said she would. The other techs were so rude when I was waiting for her that next day they wouldnt even let me wait inside. Total waste of $45, 2 trips, & hours of time.

This was like a unreal, experience! Last minute, only nail shop opened, but it will not happen, again! Very unpleasant service, I and my granddaughter, were here almost 4 hours! Slow, rude and unjust priced service, nevertheless GERM INFESTED PLACE!

I came in on 07/29/2020 for me an my daughters to get our toes done I asked for no chip glow In The dark. I repeatedly asked the lady with glasses who normally does every one toes was the color I choose glow in the dark she said yes . I asked her one more time before actually painting my toes was it glow in the dark she said yes. When I got home an went to bed that night I noticed my toes weren’t glow in the dark AT ALL! so I got up the next day which is today 07/30/2020 an went back an told her you said this was glow in the dark an orange isn’t. I never asked for a refund I simply asked can I get the glow in the dark paint which is what I paid for the lady got mad an gave me my number back an as she was giving me 10$ back I said can you do it over with the glow in the dark an she just waved her hands as if she was telling me to go an said I don’t have glow in the dark. But if you knew you didnt have it why did you REPEATEDLY TELL ME IT WAS GLOW IN THE DARK !! maybe she thought I wasn’t gonna come back for paying for service I didn’t get . Everyone In the shop said they always have to argue with them when they mess up on your toes and nails I DO NOT RECOMMEND GOING HERE THEY ARE RUDE AS HELL AN UNPROFESSIONAL!

So i went here because it was close to my house. RATCHET. people cursing and fighting the nail tech and worse was that i got my nails done yesterday and today they started peeling off. Mind you, this was gel manicure and the regular polish for my toes, got bubbled up cause the lady kept using clear polish that was thick and expired and she added nail polish to it. Never again.

I wanted to give this place an honest shot, but I came home with the worst nails Ive ever had before. Looks like a hack job and 3 of my nails are bleeding and one of them is puffy like its going to be infected 😷. I like the concept of my nails, but thats about it. And $25 for a pedicure that took about ten minutes is crazy. All she did was trim and paint my toe nails after soaking them in questionable clean water. Im upset that I paid and didnt walkout to have someone else fix them.

Ghetto! The workers, the shop, and the customers. Im never going back, and its sad because the pedicure girl is the best in all the cities. And the owner does the best nails in Minnesota, hands down

Full package services at this facility. Efficient and quick services for reasonable prices. Every woman that left the store regardless of lash extensions, eyebrows, hair lip removal, nails or toe services looked AMAZING. Definitely a shop I will travel to return to with my family again.

First time I came, wonderful job was done. Today was my second time & it wasn’t as pleasant .. had to wait over an hour ( which is fine) but what upset me the most was the guy that does nails. Not a good job at all! Files nails so thin & un-even!! I literally had to ask him to even then out . I couldn’t believe he had even filled them that UNEVEN .. Then out of nowhere charged me more for my nails! Don’t think I’ll be going back . Also the customers are something else .

So I sat in a broken chair with my feet in cold water watching my sister get her nails done while Im here from out of town. Fun. Real fun. NOT WORTH 1 Star.

Only reason I gave 1 star is because I had to to make a comment. HONG will do a good job if she wasnt so nosey and worrying about others who are in the shop, always has to converse with everyone who works there and not focused on her customer. Ive gave her 3 times to do my nails correctly and be patient with me cause I only like to get my nails done once a month so when I go I like to have something pretty jus as much as anyone else who comes to spend their money. Today she did the poorest job Ive even seen. All I asked was to fix the nails so that you cant see the sides and make sure I cant see thru the nail polish. But she acts like asking her to do this is so irritating then she yells like your her kid. Ive never been treated like this in any nail shop out here in mpls. Im from here and I will definitely not go here anymore.

Bad nail shop made me waste my money to uber to them all the way from Bloomington for them to tell me they were not going to do my nails! The lady cut my skin and made me bleed and my friends nails do not go to them !! Very inconvenient and they swear at you in front of your kids !

This place is seriously a waste of time . I’ve come here 3 times and each time was a bad experience. My most recent experience was the worst . I asked for ombré nails and was told it was $45, I had joe do my nails and he painted my whole nail pink and charged me $50. Two days later 2 of my nails broke just from turning my key they were so thin . I came in to get them fixed and joe wasn’t there so they told me to come back which was rude . I’d say keep this place as a last resort or not even an option at all .

They did a great job on my nails but after I looked in the mirror once my eye brows were done I was so upset. My eye brows were full and had a nice arch and once the lady got done they were so thin and rounded. Never ever ever will I return. She didnt even apologize. I am wondering if she was new at it since her hands were shaking a bit. Again so upset!!!

Terrible customer service Ive been going there off and on since 2001 Ive watched them downgrade right before my eyes. I witnessed terrible service to some but when it happened to me a couple of times I knew it was time to depart ways. The service isnt the same neither is their professionalism.Theyre rude and unprofessional to blacks which is they main customers.I refuse to support a business thats disrespectful to anyone. .They dont deserve the 1 🌟

I called to see if they were busy. The girl who answered said no i said ok ill be there in 20 mins for a fill. I got to the shop and it was completwly full people waiting for fills ppl waiting for eyebrows lashes pedicures. I waited for an hour and asked how much longer he says ur next. Another customer comes in and says she is there for her appointment. She was helped before me so i just left. I couldnt wait anymore. I liked this shop because this hadnt happened before. They charge around 30 for a fill with gel polish. If u want to wait all day its worth the price i guess. My time is more important. Ill pay more to have my nails done on time.

I hated my nails. I got them done doing the dip which I discovered about two months ago and fell in love with. the experience:I walked in and it was packed. Its a small place, but its run down and it was hard to breathe due to poor ventilation. I asked for the dip. I sat down and looked around. Polish was piled up and equipment could use some attention. Nothing fresh was used on me. I had a dip on my nails already, and my technition ground the polish off-- so much it hurt three separate times and I pulled away each time. She never asked what shape nail in wanted and I had to tell her before she started to dip.She wasnt even going to take off all my previous polish, just grind it down to be flat with my nails. I had to ask to have all of the polish removed with acetone.She did my dip, which was sloppy. She then used a gel top coat instead of the top polish for the dip, which has now already peeled off and left my dip exposed three days later. I asked for the top coat and she said the gel coat makes it shinier. Which I dont care because the dip top coat does make the polish shiny instead of Matte like I have now.I also had to ask for my cuticles to be tended to.She answeres the phone four or so times doing my nails on speaker phone- I lost count.Now I am Stuck with crappy nails for the next week or so for $40. My card also didnt work and I ended up having to go to the ATM down the road to pay-- and yes I had money so they werent running my card properly.I would not recommend going here. I went based on good reviews, and my experience was just Terrible- and so are my nails. :(

One star because the customer service is good. The nail quality is TERRIBLE. The simple task of washiing your hands to get stray pieces is even skipped. Nails are bumpy, polish doesnt cover full nail, and ambre is done as if its the first day of nail tech school. I will NEVER waste my money here again.

Went for a fill-in and I was asked to leave and not return after asking Joe the nail tech to even out my nails because he filed one hand obviously shorter than the other he got angry when I expressed that i was dissatisfied with my nails being short and i never asked him to file them down in the 1st place he yelled at me to leave at once and never come back all of the employees here are very unprofessional and rude dont waste your time they dont even do nails that well anyway

Every time I go my nails look great. Price is reasonably cheap but the only disadvantaged is some time you can be waiting for over an hour.

I stopped by and got a full set put on a month in a half ago. I decided to take my polish off and my ring finger on my left hand fingernail is cracked in the middle with alot of green inside my nail. My real nail is infected. I heard another friend say the same thing. I wouldnt of even gave them A Star but it was the only way to do my review.

This place is the best in the hood. They for real real live up to our expectations. I swear when Im forced to go some place other then Diamonds Im PIST. If only there were enough time in the day. I wish Diamond nails opened 24 hours. I will always be Flawless. I luv this place its my number1.

Theyre shaped too wide and one of my nails ache! I think they do EVERYONES eyebrows the same as well. Mines just needed to be touched up and already had a shap but theyre not even now. Ive been receiving service there over 2yrs. I was skeptical about going because I have long STRONG, healthy nails but needed protection from the bitter cold. The application was great but .... When I had them removed, it felt like torture! They RIP the (gel) off which was very PAINFUL! ITS BEEN A COUPLE WEEKS AND MY NAILS UNDERNEATH ARE IN HORRIBLE CONDITION! THEY LOOK AS IF ENTIRE NAILS WERE SPILT INTO. THE ENTIRE TOP LAYER OF MY NAILS ARE GONE! After research I found they should be SOAKED OFF! BESIDES THE SAME POWDER SUBSTANCE USED FOR ACRYLIC IS USED FOR GEL NAILS...I trusted the nail techs because its a craft and misleading customers isnt good for business. I asked her was there possible damage and she assured me NO! Now, Im soaking then at home to see how much actual damage was done. I am not pleased at all!!!!! I am not pleased at all and Im praying once I get it off, my nails can recover. I wondered why my nails ached for about 2wks, now I know why. :(
