I love KCN nails. I’ve been going to them for almost 2 years now. The quality and price is unbeatable. My gel manicures always last at minimum 4 weeks with no chips. They take their time on your nails and don’t rush you out.They have taken wonderful precautions during Covid, to keep everyone safe. They are always very clean and sanitary.Cannot recommended ENOUGH!

Wonderful job! Everyone is so kind and welcoming. Truly a family feel while getting nails done. It can get pretty busy, so weekdays are better than the weekend. I promise though, it is worth the wait.

They kept their doors open to help me when others turned me away. Amazing customer service!! They are taking great precautions in preventing the spread of Covid-19.

I am so glad to have found this Salon. I tried other salons with high ratings but always felt like an outsider. Excluded in conversations. At KCN we talked and laughed.Although other salons might seem/look clean. Im very cognitive of their supplies and procedures. KCN is always on top of cleaning their tools as to eliminate any cross contamination.I always refer people to this Salon. No matter where they live. The pricing is great; ample parking & friendly and knowledgeable people.

I love KCN I have been going for years & its never been dirty. I have YET to find ANY OTHER SHOP that can do my nails better! Everyone is always friendly & talkative. There is always a ton of nail polish available hundreds sometimes theyre on the shelves or in a case so if you dont see it what youre looking for ask maybe youre not looking in the correct spot. Overall I love the quality of my nails & would never go anywhere else!

It was a wonderful experience. I got exactly what I asked for and his little daughter was so cute. I just wish it were a little faster, but you cant rush excellence. Will definitely go back again.

Wonderful! This nail salon is the best! my friend took me to KCN Nails last week. I did get a good time there. All the staff are so friendly ad helpful. Whatever you need, you will find them there!

If I could give this place a zero, I would. I made an appointment ahead of time (week before) and the minute I came in, the Asian lady gave me the rudest attitude saying that she cannot do my nails due to being “late” when in fact I was on right on time. When other people were coming in, she attended them right away while I had it wait. Can tell she was racist. Never coming here again. Horrible service. Go to other nail salons near way better service and cheaper.

I have very short nails from anxiety biting and I went in here for my first mani at a shop. They went through all the options of making sure I grow my nail out the way I want to and all the ways to take of my nails. I left very satisfied with the end result. I go here for pedis every now and then but now I know that I will be here every 2 weeks to get both done. ❤️ Loved the service.

I did a walk-in appointment and as usual i prepared myself to wait a while. But I waited for 3 hrs and ended up not receiving any service. Reason being they didn’t have the color that I wanted and I wasn’t informed that the “circled” colors are the only ones that are available. At first I wanted to do gel powder so it looks natural. But they don’t have the materials to do that. So, while waiting i settled on just getting gel polish. But I was such a limit on the colors despite the many color displays. The staff is friendly but they could’ve done better. GET MORE PRODUCTS! And check in with waiting customers to make sure what they want done you’re able to deliver. 3 hour wait is excruciating!

Did a great job on my pedicure. The guy took time to make sure my feet looked fantastic, which I really appreciated.As for my manicure... He encouraged me to do a gel manicure instead of acrylic because he said the acrylic would be really bad for my nails- which was nice because it showed that he cared more about the health of my nails than the money (gel was cheaper). I appreciated that, but it kind of made me feel like he didnt want to do acrylic. And his daughter (?) told me I couldnt have a design because her mom wasnt there that day.Also, when I made the appointment over the phone, I had said I wanted my nails sculpted, but when I was there he used the tips. This is also partially my fault though because I saw what he was doing and didnt say anything.My hands look great from a couple feet away, but if I look at them up close, theyre not very good. He didnt even soak my hands, cut my nails, or trim my cuticles! He didnt do anything except put the nails on. This may be because hed already spent an hour and a half on my feet, but that amount of time certainly didnt need to be spent on my feet- my hands needed it a lot more! I would have liked to have my cuticles trimmed or SOMETHING. That was really disappointing to me. And the acrylic nails look ok... but not nearly as good as I had hoped. They dont cover my whole nail at the cuticles, so its almost like they need to be filled already. And he sent me away before the nail polish was dry because he had me there almost an hour after theyd closed! So my nails got wrecked in places and I had to fix them myself. I dont blame him for trying to get me out of there, but my appointment was at 4 pm, and I didnt get to leave until almost 8 pm.All of this was tolerable, but the part that bothered me the most was how he kept talking politics. He went on for almost the whole time I was there about how terrible the president is (and other democrats). It was actually pretty painful for me to listen to even though Im not democratic. I didnt go to the salon to listen to someone rant about how terrible certain things in the country or world are. AND I certainly didnt go there to hear about how his wife is jealous of his ex and how his ex wouldnt marry him and didnt want to have kids, and how much his current wife loves him. I just wanted to relax!All in all, I was pretty disappointed. It just wasnt the experience that I wanted.

I absolutely love this place! The nail technician are so friendly. It is a nice environment to relax at and get away from real world. Will go back next time Im in the area and need nail services.

Wanted to try this place out as it is closer to home. I waited 45 minutes then was told it was an extra $5 to remove gel polish. Ive never been charged extra to have polish removed before, Ill go back to my usual. I guess they dont want new customers.

This salon was okay. The staff was very nice and talkative and did a great job on my nails. The salon itself needs a face lift and needs to be cleaned. I was a little grossed out by how dirty everything was and not well kept. They also dont have a lot of nail polish to choose from. Other than that, decent experience!

Be prepared for a VERY long wait, sometimes over an hour. And they wont tell you how long it will be. They say a little bit and keep stringing you along as long as possible. Ive tried to make an appointment twice to avoid the wait to no avail. And while you wait try not to get a headache from the overpowering fumes. On the plus side, when/if you finally get your nails done, they turn out a little better than average.

The only nail shop I go to, I travel from Robbinsdale all the way north east. The girl that has the station at the end by the sinks is the best nail tech in the shop. The wait is really long but my nails are always cute when I leave.

The 1st time here, with a new friend. She took me to this salon and recommend me to do pedicure. Before I only do my manicure but not very often do anything with pedicure. So I tried this time. The result is amazing! I coundnt believe that staff here could turn my nails that beautiful! Theys talented, and friendly too. They always smiled each time we asked them for anything. Im so detailed oriented so its important the nail technician is as well and they do a fantastic job!! The atmosphere is clean and fun and I am never disappointed when I go there 👸😄.

I made an appointment for me and my bridesmaids for gel mani/pedis. Waited a half hour before they would even start on one of us while staff just mingled around doing who knows what. They were not busy and appeared to make staff available for our group. TOOK 5 HOURS for 4 of us. They kept switching between us and didn’t do anything in order. Would stop in the middle of the manicure and start on someone else, and then trade places again. It was so inefficient. And, toward the end when we just wanted it to be over... an older man who worked there randomly approached me and asked if I wanted to hear a joke. I said sure. And said “Do you know why we can wear these hats (we were both wearing fedoras) and they can’t?(pointing to two of my bridesmaids sitting next to me) because we are tall and thin and they are not.” And started laughing while we all stared at him in awkward disgust. Then the nail tech said with an attitude “he was just joking.”Will NEVER go here again. I’ve been here a few times before and have never been happy with the service. Bugs crawling around on the floor, excessive signage to watch your kids (while their own loud annoying kids are running around in your face).Oh, and they’ll call you fat.

Its Monday I got a gel mani pedi on Saturday. Today the gel is already chipping off. The service was good, but the product should last longer then 72 hours. I will not be ever going back, unfortunately.

Dont let the affordability and surroundings of this mom&pop nail shop fool you, as KCN will give you a mani/pedi as good or better than any other salon in town. If you are looking for ambience, then go to Spalon Montage and pay the 3x more. But if you are looking for a top notch job for a low price, plus convienient hours and walk-in service, KCN cant be beat!
