Clean, organized, friendly staff that listen to what you want done, at a very reasonable price. Whats not to love?

I called ahead for an appointment and Taelor and Laura took my daughter and I straight back when we arrived. They were both easy to talk with and patient until I was pleased with my haircut. They offered suggestions to how to achieve our desired looks and were conservative with each trim. I will go back to see them again!

Went in to get a cut and wash. First Amber couldnt understand my name, then I had to spell it. Then proceeded to say sit in the left, I asked what chair, went down hill from there. Told me I had to take my hat off, well duh, Im the for a haircut. Almost 30! Doesnt live up to the name unless your paying for the attitude from the staff.

J was the best!!! Got me real relaxed with a shampoo then gave me a bouncy cut. I will be back to see her in 6 weeks.

Stopped in here for the first time the other week and had a great haircut and visit. Everyone was pleasant and was in and out very quickly.

Combed all my hair over before showing it to me I learned why when I got home. Hair was so lopsided I wanted to cry. Glad I already knew it would need touching up since the cutter couldnt figure our how to take a fade down properly after 2 tries.

I have been a regular customer at Cost Cutters Towers Mall in Roanoke for several years... and have always been pleased with the quality of service and the courtesy of staff. Ive received excellent haircuts by several different stylists over the years and am especially impressed by Chasitys talent & professionalism. Highly recommend this salon!

I have always had my hair cut by my dad growing up and then later at a local barber shop in my hometown. Since moving to Roanoke, Ive been visiting Cost Cutters at Towers Shopping Center. Ive always been pretty happy with my haircuts. The wait is usually not too bad. In the last year Ive had a little problem with the way they cut my bangs. They do it at a weird angle so that once my hair grows out over a weeks time, its poking me in the eye on one side. I have to ask them to fix it each time now. My normal hair cut costs me roughly $17 and after tip I usually pay about $20. The only other thing to mention is the gossip I hear. Stories of drinking all night or how someones best girlfriends boyfriend got too drunk and angry and got in trouble with the law and their mother. It can make for an interesting experience sometimes.

Hit or miss, here. Have tried repeatedly due to its convenient location and I am not fussy about my hair..Have noticed the price gas gone up..and the quality down.Last visit was a rant by the stylist..and a lousy haircut.AVOID IF POSSIBLE

I am highly disappointed at the job Amber did on my child’s hair. She butchered it my poor little boy will have to wait till it grows out. He has such beautiful hair and can’t believe how it looks now. Chasidy there is fantastic and was not there so we let someone else cut it which will never happen again. Would like to say she ruined my sons hair.

Extremely overpriced for low quality styling. I came to a salon because I thought they could do a better job straightening my hair than I could but that did not prove to be the case. They blow dried it leaving it extremely frizzy and it honestly looked bad. I asked to have it smoothed out by having a straightener run over it to make it look okay but not great. Using the straightener was an extra $12 and I was not informed of this until check out. Overall, I am very dissatisfied with the quality and will not return.

Friendly hairdressers. Very courteous and did a good job on my cut. She was fairly quick as well.

Cost cutters at Towers is the only cost cutters ill go to. Wouldnt go for some really serious job... but something simple sure why not. staff are professional enough and do a good job

Doesn’t even deserve one star.i just went to get a haircut at Cost Cutters; nothing crazy just a simple trim. i have an asymmetrical bob. on one side of my hair it’s fairly short and there’s a point on the short side. i explained very clearly to the lady what i wanted and she cut my hair straight across. cutting my point off so short that it was just straight. i have a cut-out over my ear and she didn’t even trim it so all of my hair was still covering my ear. i explained to the lady at least 3 times what i wanted and she still didn’t seem to understand what i was saying. i even showed her exactly how i wanted it and she still kept cutting the portion where my point was shorter and shorter until my point was just a straight line that was as short as my ear was. as for the rest of my hair, it wasn’t blended at all. it had been i while since i’d gotten a cut so the back of my hair was fairly long. she didn’t cut any of it. i still have pieces of my hair sticking out from where it was so long. she didn’t layer any of my hair so parts of my hair just looked square from where she cut it straight across. it so uneven on the back. there are really long parts and really short parts of it.it came to the point in my haircut that it was so awful i told her i would just cut it at home. i left the salon and went to my car and cried for a while about how awful my hair looked and trying to figure out how i was going to fix it. i was so distraught because the woman who cut my hair had cut my hair the time before and did it perfectly.i’ve had this haircut for years and this is by far the worst haircut i’ve ever had.however, despite my horrendous haircut, the lady was very friendly. all of the people i’ve ever had there have been super kind and friendly. hopefully others can have a better experience than i did with their hair. i won’t be going back to cost cutters.

Quick hair when you never know if you are going to have to work

They are wonderful at Cost Cutters at Towers, especially Kara, she cuts my sons hair who has Autism and she is wonderful with him. He does a lot of rocking and she just moves right along with him. I have never found a more dedicated group of employees who really take time to listen to what you want and need for your hair. We, have been going there for over 4 years and I cant imagine going anywhere else and who ever says they dont know how to cut hair is totally WRONG!! I have nauturally curley hair and people that have this type of hair know you dont let just any one cut your hair. But, at Cost Cutters Towers they cut my hair and do a beautiful job, all of them are quilified, I do see Kara most of the time, but occasionally she has not been there and there prices are not bad either..

Watch them, Ive had my hair uneven several times.
