I was able to book an appointment right away and my stylist was freaking amazing. Nice cut and fun personality. It’s a really fun environment and apparently, you get a beverage during your appointment!

Went for waxing, worst service ever. Never had such bad experience. Esthetician doesnt know what he is talking about. He kept changing stuff to make him look right. He was in rush from the beginning and didnt answer my questions correctly. He even doesnt know what product he is using. After couple of days I can see scars all over my skin, went for follow up and he mentioned its dead skin. Seriously ? not sure if its the wax quality or the wax was too hot. I am not going here again. NOT RECOMMENDED.

Ive been coming here for a haircut to see the same person for close to 8+ years. I know they have other services, too, but Ive not really the type to get pampered. Always pleased with the service, always leave feeling fresh and looking damn good. If you want a boost to your self-confidence, this is the place to go.

We were very excited about this salon but unfortunately they didn’t live up to the standard. The service we received felt rushed and not throughly done. I was unable to receive polish on my fingers & the polish on my toes only lasted a day or two. Wish we had a better experience overall.

Men’s Spa has been my go to place for the last 3 years. I had the chance to get helped by every single hair artist there, and every time the quality has been great. The place is well located, with parking and they evolved quickly to fit the needs of life during COVID. Highly recommended!!

I had a manicure scheduled for the day before my wedding. I have never gotten a manicure, but thought it would be good to have my fingers looking good for the wedding. Three hours before my appointment, they called and canceled on me due to the stylist having food poisoning. Understandable, but they did not have a backup and could not get me in, despite it being the day before my wedding. I would think they could figure something out due to the nature of the situation. It was frustrating, as it was too late to figure something else out. I would not recommend them to others due to their poor customer service.

The best cutter in town- Damian. I’m very particular, and I’ve tried many places in the past. Nobody- I mean nobody- cuts my hair like Damian. Plus, super nice guy and professional at the same time. And Mens Spa is a very pleasant environment without being over the top on superfluous frills. Great staff too. All good, all around- no better place to be!

Katherine has been fantastic. I have struggled to find a mens haircut that is a good blend of value and quality. Mens Spa is it.They have done a great job of keeping people separate and feeling safe during the pandemic. Prior to that they were all about service and amenities, like coffee and spare shirts to change into so your clothes didnt get dirty.My rating would be higher once the amenities are able to open back up.

Terrible service here. I came in with pictures and a description of what I wanted ... the barber did not deliver anything of what I asked for. Never stopped to ask more questions. Begun my haircut and then proceeded to mess around and talk with another employee during the whole duration of my haircut. When he asked me after if I liked it, as politely as possible I responded “it was alright”, to get an aggressive return of “well that is exactly what you asked for” instead of asking how if at all it could be fixed. Mid way through the cut I got the (not very encouraging) remark of “man its really hard to work in this lighting over here” of what I could imagine is him realizing he was not delivering what I had asked and had messed up. Just very unprofessional and probably the worst haircut I have gotten unfortunately. I would not recommend going here.

Possibly the greatest place I have ever gotten my hair cut. The staff is great and certainly knows what they are doing. The atmosphere is perfect. If you are looking for a fun place to get your haircut I highly recommend mens spa. Not only is the staff great but, so are their products. To date my favorite hair products. Ive seen Damien at Mens Spa for around 3 or 4 years now. I started seeing Damien while leaving nearby in NE Minneapolis, mostly due to convenience. I was so impressed with Damien, and the entire team at Mens Spa, that I have continued to use his services despite moving further and further away from downtown.Damien in particular is kind, professional, and has a great eye for details.Beyond my normal haircut I have also gotten massages, facials, and a pedicure throughout the years. All of my service providers have been top notch.

After relocating to Minneapolis in December 2017, I have spent a fair amount of time trying to find the best place to get a high quality haircut. As someone who thoroughly loves Aveda products, I prefer to stick to salons that are attached to these products. Since my time in the cities, I have received my haircut at the JUUTs of Roseville, Downtown (now closed), and frequently go to the Uptown location. Though my hair at those places has never been bad, it was not often that I left absolutely loving my hair.So - I decided to make a switch and try this location out due to the consistency of high reviews. For my appointment, I saw Nick and he was perhaps the best stylist I may have ever had. I do not say this lightly! For additional context, I am a bit picky with my hair because of certain areas of thinning/receding and he made it blend perfectly.For the haircut: it started right on time, he took the time to ask detailed questions about my hair, throughout the cut we chatted about a bunch of random things and got to know each other a bit more, then shampoo and styling. Honestly, I felt very confident about the location because of what I read online. This was important because for almost the entire haircut, my back was to the mirror. And when the chair turned around - I was incredibly happy. Literally the best haircut Ive had in ages!!Though the past reviews are positive, they simply do not do this place justice - its great people, great vibes, and great service. If you are unsure of where to go - just go here and you wont end up trying any other place! I know this will be my new permanent place in the Twin Cities!
