Terrible company, charge you all these fees and lie to your face. I have my own full coverage insurance, great collision and liability coverage and they wouldn’t take it because they need a 1 million dollar coverage that my insurance company Does not offer. Very shady, would not do business with them again.
Nobody answer for the shuttle, I wait one hour and it’s imposible. I want My money back
I rented a van. The biggest car they had was a Mitsubishi Outlander. If I didnt want the car, their van to the airport was done for the night, so Id have to Uber back to the airport (4 people with luggage), find another rental car that could hold my family (last minute rental wont be cheap), and work out a refund with Expedia since it wasnt booked with them (not guaranteed). That wasnt going to happen at 10pm, so I took the car. They told me maybe Expedia could refund part of my payment since they didnt have the correct car, but they couldnt help me.Once I had agreed to take a lesser car, they then asked for proof of insurance. I showed them my insurance card on my phone and they said I had to have a hardcopy. If I dont have a hardcopy, I had to buy their insurance for $55.93. I pointed out my insurance company doesnt even send hardcopies because the police accept digital now and begged them to take a photocopy of my phone as proof, since they had already failed to get me the correct car. They said no and no one was available that could approve that, which meant either buy the insurance or Uber back to the airport and start over. That wasnt happening at 10pm, so I paid for the insurance.FL doesnt have manned toll booths, so they offered their Sunpass service for $59.78. I have no idea where these toll roads are, so I asked if I needed it to get to Ft. Lauderdale. The woman said she couldnt help me and told me to avoid tolls if I didnt want the service. I dont know where the tolls are or how to avoid them and she wasnt going to help me understand the risk. If I drove through a toll, the state would fine me and the rental car company would charge me for processing the fine. She said each fine is around $150-200. So, I paid for the Sunpass service too.After being swindled for an additional $123.80 plus a $250 hold, I went outside for the car walk around. It was late and dark and the workers rushed me to just sign, because they wouldnt charge me for minor damage to the car. I wasnt going for that and did a thorough video walk around and marked-up the damage sheet with dents and large scratches. It wasnt going fast enough, so the woman pressured me several times to just sign the form and finally took the keys and went back inside. I dont think she planned to return the keys to me, but another gentleman went inside and retrieved the keys for me when I was done.The woman took my email and phone number because the van was going to be back in 2 days. She was going to call me so I could exchange my SUV, which barely held 4 people plus luggage, for the van. No one ever contacted me about the van, so we crammed back into the car and made our way back to the airport on Monday.When I arrived, they took the keys, went inside, came back outside and told me I could get on the airport shuttle. I asked for a receipt for the rental and the hold to be removed. They said they would do it later and email me the receipt. As of this writing (16 days later), still no receipt. I checked my credit card and it shows a charge for $123.80 and does not show a temporary charge, so it appears they closed the bill correctly.So, I paid in full $81.28 for a van on 08 January. I received a small SUV that couldnt actually get my family around (we got another car in Ft. Lauderdale for the 2 that couldnt fit) and paid 150% more at the time of the rental. Zezgo and CorpUSA business practices are fraudulent.
Total scam. Expect to pay an extra $50+ a day for other requirements. Terrible customer service. They tried keeping my deposit for who knows why and my credit card was compromised as soon as I unlocked it - Hardly a coincidence. Worst experience I’ve ever had with a car rental company. I rent 1-2x yearly.

This is a terrible car rental company. I reserved a car via Discover car rental company (another awful company)My flight was delayed by 3 hours and by the time I arrived at the car rental place my reservation had been canceled. They offered to book me a new reservation at the tune of 2,000 dollars (original price 850.00). Boh the broker and the car rental agency insisted there was nothing they could do other than charge over 2000.00.I am now stuck in hollywood florida with 2 children and no car. Ive had to change my flight from Orlando to miami and pay a fee for a canceled airbnb.Do your your research and please dont use either Corpusa car rental or discover cars.
I saw a family of four leave disgusted with what they were being charged on top of what they already paid online (poor lil kids)...i saw another family leave b/c they wouldnt except their insurance ...and for me cancelled my car b/c i was 10 mins late - i tried calling b4 arriving no one answered...was told i would need to rebook online b/c she didnt know if any cars were available...
If one person reads this review and decides not to rent form this company I will have made the world a better place. The car that they gave me had a dead battery. Not I accidentally left the light on and my battery died. More like I had to borrow jumper cables and always make sure where I was going there would be another car there to jump my battery for 5 days because I didnt have time to drive 3 hours and get them to replace my car. Not only that, the check engine light came on the second day. The only charge port in the car for my phone stopped working after two days. There were so many problems with this car, there was no way they all happened right before I got it. This car rental place had to know there was problems, and still decided it was okay to give me this car.
Poor customer service. They do not call back like they say they will. They sell you the Sunpass for tolls. They told me if you do not run any tolls for each day you have the car, then you will be credited the $16/day for whatever days that you didn’t run any. So we rented the car for 7 days. We were charged $112 off the bat. We were aware of only 2 days where we hit tolls. So we should have to only pay $32 and receive a refund of $80.... Well I call them a week after our rental and they now claim this is not their policy. They claim if you hit just 1 toll with the sunpass no matter what the cost of the toll. You will be charged the full $112. I’m pretty sure one day we hit a toll that was $0.60. But we paid $112. That is almost 190% markup! My advice to you, Uber is the way to go. Parking is extremely expensive in Miami. If you absolutely need a rental car, go with another company.
This place is a complete fraud they steal your money 250.00 and act like it’s a deposit and never give it back my CC company said they have multiple people suing them. This place robs people for their hard earn money and act it’s nothing they are scam artist and deserve to be locked up in prison. I will be adding to the list of ppl using them
All of the Shady businesses practices are in full effect here. They make you get mandatory insurance and fees that no serious company does. Then they charge you a $250 deposit on your card that they never reimburse, they will find a reason to keep the deposit, if they cant find a reason they will ignore you totally anyways you wont get your deposit back.
TOTAL SCAM! If I could take away stars, I would. I purchased Collision Damage Waiver as well as supplemental Liability insurance totaling over $100 in addition to my rental. There was a scratch on the vehicle upon return and the clerk refused to relieve the hold on my credit card (an additional $250). They claimed that I owed them $1000 now despite having the CDW and SI insurances. The cleark informed me they would be charging the card on file. Since I did not have $1000 on that card and was fearful of my card being overdrawn I asked if they could switch the cards while I contacted the manager to sort it all out. The clerk charged another $250 on a separate credit card (never issued a receipt, but told me I would be emailed one). I was given a managers card with the name Manuel, however the phone number did not work and I never received a response to Multiple email attempts.

This BS company claimed their was damage to a car I rented and never notified me of anything!The only damage to the vehicle was done before I rented it!They charged me a security deposit and did not return it ! DO NOT RENT ANYTHING FROM THEM!!
I rent with them regularly, directly no through any third party and always have a good experience. Upfront price $30-$35 with everything included no surprises no high deposits.
DONT DO IT. I found their great deal online and paid $14 for one day rental (back in August). When we got there, it was a shotty 1 room garage with no A.C. and one employee (can be overlooked), but they charge you seperate from the website no matter what with mandatory insurance and other fees, which NEVER happens at the big name reputable car rental companies, except for maybe a $50 hold on your card for incidentals (same as many hotels)... they ended up costing $83.59 on top of the $14 I paid online for the rental, and they mandate a $250 hold on your card which contractually says nothing about being refunded on the documentation, so I wrote it in everywhere I could. Otherwise, with they way they have it written, you are authorising them to charge that amount. So total, my $14 rental cost an extra $302.59 at the dodgy rental shack (pics included). For returning the car for an early flight next day, I was told to leave the car at the airport with the keys in the trunk and take a picture of where it was parked... really? Anyway, the return worked out and I called multiple times to wake the guy up and verify he was going to get it.They are blatantly taking advantage of people. Alone, I would have told them to f* off and gone to another place. But I had 3 people with me, we were all in a time crunch, and they are not located close to anything else. Ive had similar experiences with small, no-name rental companies before, but this was by far the WORST (maybe the Miami version?). But lesson learned. I will stick to the reputable brands from here forward.
Worst experience. They are still trying to charge me twice and Im having to dispute with credit card company. Very sketchy business and the car they tried to put us in had blood all over the headliner. Dont rent from this company.
Basically good... never heard of them before but the reservation was through Orbitz so I felt safe. Car was older, a few dings, the do bot open until 8am.... but price was good, their shuttle was fast... so good.
Most horrible horrible car rental experience ever. It is all a scam. The cheap price online is to lure you to rent with them. Then you are forced to take a shuttle to their shady location where you are pretty much forced to stick with them, since you will be far from the other car rental companies. They charge another $16 per day, for “property insurance”??? And do not accept insurance from out of country??? What is this? Our rental cost us 5 times more than what we had expected and additional $250 deposit usd which i hope they will repay us! They also forced us to take a dodge caravan, when we were only two people and wanted a small car. The car was beyond dirty inside and all scratched up on the outside. Employees were rude and unprofessional. Just terrible. Please avoid.
This company charged my card for a red light ticket, I asked for the ticket and proof many times and have not received a response. Fraudulent.
Honestly the car rental service was better than expected, we read the reviews online and were nervous, but none of the car rental companies have good ratings so we decided to try them. The person who checked us in was very nice and patient as we had a lot of questions regarding the policies, a video of the car was made to keep record of any damage and sent to my email so by return they checked this video and everything was good.They dont work 24hours so keep in mind when you book I think only from 08 am to 09 pm
In my 50+ years of car renting I have NEVER encountered such a bunch of crooks. This rental agency is a SCAM. To begin with, I waited at the designated area for 20 - 25 minutes for a van to pick me up. After so long I reviewed my literature for a number to call and found an In case of emergency number. Called it and was informed that renters must call for a van as they do not run continuous service. THERE WAS NO MENTION OF THAT IN THE LITERATURE! At the counter the lady said I must have a copy of my INSURANCE DECLARATION PAGE or I must purchase their insurance at $16 or $17 a day. Who ever heard of needing the declaration page? The only requirements listed in the literature were a valid drivers license, a credit card, and proof of insurance of which I had. When I pointed that out to the lady she very matter-of-factly stated Thats company policy and we wont rent to you without one or the other. That left me with two choices, pay their insurance and allow myself to be ripped off or leave after having paid the rental up front. I left! Dont EVER rent from this company.
Worst service ever, I found this company in Turo and rented a Minivan, I was contacted 3 hours before my trip stating that the car has the engine light on and that they needed to take it to a mechanic and asking If I was willing to change to a 5 passenger. I texted back immediately telling them that I could not accept it, no response. Followep up, no response. Went to their location, No Car!. What a shame for a company to operate like this.

I reserved a car online with Corpusa, never tried it before but prices were really good. We came on a cruise and they were able to pick us up from the Miami Port which made everything easier, the driver was very polite and helpful. Rental went smooth, car was 2016 barely used, I prepaid the tolls so I wouldnt have any extra charges! I will definitely use them again. thanks guys!
Horrible customer service, horrible condition of vehicles and did not return our deposit for reasons they were responsible for. They gave us a car that was dirty and had low tire pressure, causing us to get a flat. They were also offering vehicles with has half full. They work with Zezgo, so be careful when you book. The low price on Expedia seems great but its misleading, we had to pay double the rent of the car for an insurance they did not mention at the time of booking.

Found this company online and decided to give it a try due to its reasonable price compare to other companies you can find inside the airport.First of all, no office or any kind of signal in the airport part, so we called the company and they sent us a car to drive until the office, a bit weird but ok.Once there they start to add ‘mandatory’ taxes, fees, insurance and every possible thing to raise the price.If a tax is obligatory and fixed, add it in the reservation price breakdown.From a total of $58 on the site, we had to pay $190. Budget in the airport wanted $140.They are probably counting on the fact that you are out of the airport so you don’t really have other options once you’re there. If the taxes were explained better when booking, you were choosing someone you know you can trust. At the same price.Not suggested at all!Don’t trust them, rent a car at the airport, faster and more sure.
Terrible experience, if not a scam. The shuttle never showed up and they never answered the phone, so we ended up renting last minute from a different company. They are now trying to claim it was a no-show and not refund us. There are plenty of good companies out there, choose wisely and trust the reviews.
I rented a car there about a month ago and I was incredibly pleased with the service. I arrived frustrated as one would after a long flight and they made sure I was in and out as fast as they could. Props to this place for the great service and the professionalism that all the employees and the manager carried!
BEWARE! SCAM! SCAM! SCAM! Travelers, Tourist, Locals, All Human Beings! Don’t fall for the low pricing. This place is designed to fraud and scam you out of money. Wish I would have read the reviews before booking a rental car. I’m surprised they are still in business. I even had a bad feeling bad soon as I entered the so called “business”. I am a non smoker. I returned the vehicle on time and was not told of any issues with the car. Went to the airport and flew back home. 10 days later I see that my $250 deposit has still not been released. I call to find out that they held my deposit because the car smelled like smoke. A total lie! They took advantage of me because I am non Spanish speaking. Use a big company pay the extra $10 a day for a peace of mind and also not supporting low life’s like these people at this business. This happened in March 2019. Rent Somewhere else. There should be a lower rating than 1 possibly a negative for this place.
This rental went very good! the staff at the location was friendly. The value was also very important to me (This was half the price of other rentals) so even with the unlimited toll package was cheaper that renting from the airport. Would definitely use for my future rentals

Called because I tried to book online and needed to confirm the reservation and was told the reservation did not go through because the website was not working. On top of that I asked how much the deposit would be and she told me, get ready...$1000 lol. Thank you have a nice evening. Dont they know MAJOR rental car companies charge up to $200 deposit.
This is a scam! Don’t trust this ! They came half an hour late and gave some other person the rented car. I’ve noticed that Every person/family that comes to rent a car are all complaining and very unsatisfied with their service, not one person that has come satisfied and I’ve wasted an hour of my time trying to understand why they gave my rented van to another family. They didn’t solve my problem and made my family wait longer. THIS HAS TO SHUT DOWN! Please do not trust this illegal business because they lie and scam people and there’s barely any chance you’ll get your money back.
DO NOT RENT A CAR FROM HERE. They charge you for the shuttle, they basically lie to force their insurance on you. They charge all these extra fees for no reason. Fortunately, they were able to fix everything but much hell was raised. Go somewhere else ... convenience is worth a couple extra dollars.
I strongly do not recomend this company. When i paid on the web page, it said it was final price. SURPRISE it was not. i had to pay 14 usd per day due the SUNPASS. it shoud be said when you make the reservation. It was also said that the pick up was free. SURPRISE AGAIN it was not... 15 usd ( i arrived at 1pm afternoon.. a normal hour)Furthermore, the car was in a very bad condition. The steering wheel started to shake on the highway! i got really scared! i called them and went i arrived the next morning, a very rude women told me it was my fault, that i havent called... Also the oil and maintenance advise pop up 10 min later.As you know, drive in the Florida its not as easy as in other states. So you can imagine how scared i was... please contact them before you make a reservation so there is no possibility to make a mistake
0 Star! DO NOT Rent from this place!!! We booked with a 3rd party, which sent us to this company. The lady refused to rent us a car because we did not a physical copy of our Insurance ID, even after we showed her the electronic copy and asked if she can printed for us. She insisted its part of terms and conditions and police policy, we need to have a printed copy. Another couple bought insurance with booking, but did not print out the insurance, so the lady also refused service because they dont have a physical copy of insurance ID. That morning, the rental lady turned away 3 rental customers and try to sell a family their company insurance coverage even though the family also bought insurances during booking (not printed in English).
After arriving in MIA I couldnt find the shuttle to the rental agency. I was told by a knowledgeable stranger I had to call Corpusa for the shuttle. There was no phone number, except for Travelocity - and they never answered the phone.Eventually someone called for me. The shuttle dropped me off at a back-alley dump. I asked if this was their corporate headquarters? He said yes!It went downhill from there.
I would give 0 stars, if possible!Even though I had enough funds, they couldn’t use my credit card and tried 3 times until, making the reservation be canceled.Instead of trying to troubleshoot, she just went ahead tried until it got canceled!According to her, I could make another reservation, but it would cost 5 times more!Terrible company! I ended up losing my hotel reservation!
I found Corpusa online when looking for a rental for my vacation at MIA, Ive never heard of them before but decided to try as there was a big price difference on the other rentals I usually use. When I arrive at the airport I was a bit confused so I call them and was instructed to go to the car rental center for shuttle and so I did, they picked me up there and took me to the office (about 4 min ride) the office is not the prettiest place but whatever I needed a vehicle in good condition and good price! My agent was Andy he was great very helpful and patient with all my questions. Car was only 10k miles, very clean and good condition, by return I was driven directly to my flight (A++++++ for that) usually with other rentals you have to do the loooong walk from the car rental center to your flight so this is definitely something to consider. Overall good prices, good vehicles so why not? I like to give small companies the chance and they didnt disappoint! Keep up the good work!
I never get to this place, they are cheats and scammers. They never give you the exact orientation of theirs is that they put the fund in case something happens they end up with one. They tell you that they have paid the insurance and they charge you and if something happens although be guilty they cheat you and you have to pay the expenses.

This company is designed to fool international tourists. I have been renting with no problem with other major rental companies, but Corpusa told me that they dont partner with my insurance for liability waiver. So instead of paying $70, they have asked for $220 - over 3x my booking price. Please avoid at all costs. I was so wrong for not checking Google reviews prior to making a booking.
Prices looked great... decided to give it a try.But there were so many hidden fees that the final price was more than twice as high as the original price I booked!! When I gave the car back they even refused to give a receipt.In total we paid more in comparison to hertz, sixt etc ... and had a dirty & disgusting car which hasn’t been cleaned for months!It was definitely the WORST car rental company I’ve ever tried!!
It is the worst car rental experience from this firm. They will charge you some fee which they didnt provide the service such as the drop off, and changing you booking time to add one more days charge. They will add some insurance coverage without telling you. When sent email to ask them to explain the charge they never replied. When I called them several times to chase they blocked my telephone number.Dont use them.
Nice place, the rates where much better than other companies. Agent was polite and helpfull as well as the other employees, had to wait a little bit for pick up (15 min) as they where full but the rest went great!! Recommended

Mind you, attached to said office was their garage where they cleaned the cars, whatever vehicles they may actually have.There were two people working, yet one woman did nothing to help, not even greet us. The other rude associate was helping the customer we were shuttled over with. Luckily this man was not an idiot and had the same reservations as us about this completely ridiculous company. Not only do they charge you for pick up/drop off, they charge you for literally everything in between. Our rental went from a quote of $65.00 online to $450.00 out the door.Luckily while waiting on a completely rude and incompetent employee, I was able to call Alamo and reserve a car through them. My fiancé and I demanded to be taken back to the airport immediately. We were told we would have to wait another 5min and refused. Literally had to demand it from the driver who initially brought us there.Do NOT waist your time or money renting from Corpusa. A HUGE red flag was that only ONE person at the airport had any clue what this company was. Everyone else had never heard of them. They are lying, scamming people who will keep you waiting for hours only to charge you triple of what you thought you were paying.
Great experience! Worth the short complimentary shuttle ride from airport. Our customer service rep Jhon was extremely patient and helpful explaining from sunpass to insurance and ensuring that our trip went smoothly. I can honestly say, without hesitation - this company does a great job! Excellent pricing (A HUGE DIFFERENCE IN PRICE TO THE AIRPORT COMPANIES), wonderful staff and new vehicles. As for negative reviews - I say without hesitation... There is absolutely nothing on the negative side of the ledger here. Anyone with issues should probably do their homework prior to renting a car (Bring your documents in order)... A customers lack of informing themselves should not reflect on a business that is operating an Ethical, affordable company.
The poor reviews are justified. First, the confirmation paperwork instructed me to call an 800 number for pick up at baggage claim at MIA. When I called, the agent instructed me to go to the Car Rental Center, adding an hour to our transport time. The company apparently does not have an agreement to do pickups there as the driver was not allowed to stop. We had to chase him down the street until he found a place he could stop. The young man was polite. He drove us to their “facility” which was as sketchy as others have described. He gave us the hard sell on the FastPasd toll package, which we were finally able to successfully decline. Then came the insurance scam. The confirmation paperwork indicated I needed to bring “proof of Insurance”. I brought with me the legally recognized Arizona proof of insurance card. This was refused, the agent saying he needed the declarations page showing limits of liability. I did not have it and was required to buy liability insurance for $16/day. They also added a non-negotiable $15 charge for return shuttle to the airport. If it was not so late, and had I not had my 80 year old mother with me, I would have cut my losses, called a cab, and gone with a reputable agency. So my $91/week rental, so far, is up to over $210. The car is okay. I will report back in a week, after returning the car, and will report the results of my complaints to BBB, and my credit card company. Please do not rent from this agency!

Was The worst experience I’ve ever had renting a vehicle! I explicitly called and asked how much was the deposit and how much was everything in total, they told me the minute I got there I got a different price at a inflated rate that was four times the amount I was told both times I called. Their customer service was so horrible they told us that the shuttle will take us back to the airport, but they never came or bothered to see why we were standing outside if we really had to go back to the airport or anything they just left us there, we ended up getting an uber to our hotel an d renting from another rental company on NW 28th St. by the Texaco gas station whom are way better and has better prices and you can rent from him 24 seven so if this ever happens to you with this company you can just walk two streets over and he’s right there by the Texaco gas station.
Terms and conditions do not state any information about the rules and insurance policy. I called before arriving to make sure I did not have any surprises But they come with any rule on the spot to make you pay more. Not worth your time.
Do not rent from this company! We showed up excited for our trip to the Florida Keys and called Corpusa Rent A Car for a ride to their off site location after making an online reservation. After several calls...”we’ll be there in 10 minutes...” 30 minutes later a minivan marked with a small, magnetic sign and a standoffish driver pick us up and drive us to an uninviting, industrial part of Miami. Once inside, he asks for my reservation number, ID, and credit card - pretty standard. He then asked for proof of insurance. I’ve rented dozens of cars in my life, including international, and have NEVER been asked for my insurance. I then got on my phone to call USAA to get proof on insurance. When he realized who I was calling, he pointed out Corpusa does NOT accept USAA as a reputable insurer and said I would have to purchase their insurance at $15 per day to which I told him to cancel the entire reservation and had him take us back to the airport. We called several over rental companies and most of the ‘off-brand’ companies do the same thing regarding insurance. The sales person at Hertz told me the ‘Bait and Switch’ tactics are rampant and they have disgruntled customers approach them all the time after similar experiences. Read other reviews as many are much worse than our experience. I wish I had.
I can just confirm what many people already wrote. This firm is trying to come up with extra charges like airport fees and drop off charge and they cant even explain you what exactly they are charging. Also, they tried to charge me for some toll roads I never used.
I am from Miami and I did not want to believe the reviews. So, I reserved a car and once I showed up to pick up the car the price was more than 50%. I requested an explanation and they informed its because the website from where I made the reservation the taxes and fees are not calculated right. I was informed I was going to be charged $25 for a no show up fee but I was there. I walked out without a car and in a bad mood. Do not rent from this company.
DO NOT RENT HERE. THE GOOD DEAL IS A RUSE. I HAVE NATIONAL INSURANCE AND THE WOULD NOT TAKE. Extra 15 per day even when I added my own rental coverage to my insurance. Then they required sun pas at 14 per day no matter what.
I have read all the rewievs..all the people seems to be cheated exept some who gives a 5, and it looks like this i written from the company. I will not rent from companies like that.
If i could let 0 stars i did it !!!I rent a car during more than 1 month there so i gave them a lot of money, i think i was a good costumer !Before to return the car i asked if i have to clean it, they said no. When i return the car the staff ckecked it and said that everything was okay he said you will receive your deposit in 2 weeks .3 weeks later : nothing on my bank account. I asked them why and they said there was dogs hair in the car, it was too difficult to clean it so we keept your deposit.250$ TO CLEAN A CAR !!!!DONT GO THERE !!!!

This company (Zezgo/Corp USA/HorsePower - same address) is being SUED by multiple individuals. Dont do business here or you might lose your $$. They will NOT give you a chance to dispute any violation tickets issued during the rental. They will claim (LIE) they have tried to contact you about it but will provide no proof. They would rather collect a nice $25+ admin fee upon immediate “conviction”/payment of the ticket with the credit card left on file. They have no vested interest in notifying you. A highly PREDATORY tactic. No rental agreement can override your legal rights to fight a ticket. If you dispute the charge with this company, they will THREATEN with ticket/”conviction” transfer to your name at the DMV for points. Not possible if you have not pled guilty to anything. They will ignore and LIE about receiving any demand letters (USPS tracking verified) and will end any email communication when they realize you are right and they’re wrong. They will REFUSE TO RECTIFY THEIR MISTAKES. They have offered to take off the $25 fee (when I finally threatened a lawsuit) if I sent in a signed letter giving up any legal rights to sue them and upon removal of any negative reviews. Silly CROOKS. I am going to small claims as this is the exact thing Avis/Budget is being sued for in a class action. Zezgo/CorpUSA/Horsepower are either the same company or work very closely together at pretty much the same address. CUSTOMER BEWARE!

Shocking company. Dirty car with a key that doesn’t work. Sneakily had the car running when we took out the hire so did not notice until we stopped for a break two hours into our journey. Miss sold a Florida sun pass that in reality can be bought for $19.99 after being advised by a Floridian resident. I paid $130 as I was notified that was the amount for a 16 day stay..... I have tried to contact the company and had the phone put down on me.

They put a price online which seems decent and once you get there they need a minimum of 2,500 of down payment because you have insurance and are not getting the insurance they are offering. They also want to charge you 25 dollars per day for sunpass (which is not right) worst experience ever, these people should be ashamed of themselves.

This place is disgusting. I would rate it 0 stars but sadly that’s not a option. We came 20 minutes late because they took their time to pick us up from the airport. This was all planned out. The girl who picked us up, skinny and blonde dyed hair picked us up late not even informing us about the fact that if we are late, our reservation is denied. While we were in the car she was driving like 2 mph and had to check her phone multiple times stopping the vehicle. This is rediculous they ruined my vacation. DONT TRUST THEM THEY ARE A SCAM!!!!! I’d sue them. DONT GO HERE ITS HORRIBLE SAVE YOURSELF THE REGRET.

They market them selves as having low prices, then overcharge you in everything once you are in the store. They lack employees that are well trained and knowledgeable.I came in thinking I was going to spend less than 20$ a day and ended up spending near to 60$ a day for a Nissan Versa.Dont trust their online marketing.

I rent out of MIA 4-5 times a year and in the past I have used other big names companies but I found corpusa online and decided to give it a try as they had really good prices. I have to say I was very pleased with the service. The employees were nice and helpfull and vehicle was under 5k miles. Would absolutely recommend *****
My rental experience went from bad to worst. I booked my reservation through Orbitz, but the rental itself came via Zezgo. Upon arrival, things were going well until I received my rental Agreement, I discovered that Zezgo limits Florida in-state residents to only 45 miles per day and I was told I had to upgrade to an unlimited mileage plan for a $19.99 a day rate for a mid-size car. On top of that, if you plan to use the Florida highway tolls you have to pre-pay an additional $13.99 per day to Zezgo. I was told that renters are restricted to using Zezgo’s toll transponders and that the company installed the devices in all of their vehicles, so you have no other option if you plan on using the tolls. Their insurance rate was also very pricey, $19.99 per day with a $2,500 deductible, and it only covers collision. This was their least expensive plan.To Zezgo’s credit, the Booking agent, Ann, tried to help with the reducing the rental rate to $14.99 per day, however, she became increasingly rude during the entire transaction and she began to complain at me saying I’ve been in her office for “over an hour already”. As if I’m to blame for booking my rental accurately, and her company failing to disclose these restrictions.To close, the ridiculous rates and restrictions are reasons enough for to no longer do business with Zezgo / Corp USA Rent A Car and It’s because of Ann’s poor and unprofessional attitude as to why I am writing this review.
Worst experience ever. Thieves!!! Big rip-off. Get away from this people. They trick you with a low rate reservation but once you get there and you want to use your own insurance and decline toll fee, they will cancel the reservation saying that the company where you made the reservation online cancel the reservation. They, themselves cancel the reservation making you to get another reservation with higher rate.
STAY AWAY.. these are a bunch of Venezuelans who dont know how to do business. They are in the business of scamming people. I rented a car from there low lives and they gave me a car with an expired license plate. It was my fault for not checking but.You would think that a place that rents cars would have their things in place. They offered no solution whatsoever. Stay,AWAY from these scam artists.
This place is a scam! The company name my boyfriend and I rented from on Expedia in Canada, prior to arriving, was different than the company that rented me the car once in Miami. The number on their invoice isnt even their phone number, its another rental place in Fort Lauderdale. The staff were rude. They pre-authorize your credit card even although I pre paid in full on the website prior to arrival. They dont tell you prior that you need to supply them with a copy of your insurance slip and they try to force you into buying a toll road daily charge. DO NOT buy the package. You can get around Florida without the Sun Pass Toll lane, even though they tell you CANT get onto I95 without a toll. Liars! We didnt use one toll road! Then after returning home I was charged a $110 with no authorization. Please dont waste your time at this car rental place.
I agree with all the reviews that warn about extra charges. This is the only agency I have used in Miami where you cannot use your own SunPass account, so a $120 rental for two weeks turned into over $300. This is only stated in the final rental agreement, not when you make the reservation. Its clearly a way to get more money out of tourists, especially those who dont know that you can buy a SunPass at any CVS or Walgreens. Total SunPass charges were problably $25 for us, but we paid over $200. This is dishonesty and false marketing at its highest level - better go to a more established rental firm.

BEWARE THIS COMPANY CHANGED THIER NAME TO ZEZGO TO GET AWAY FROM THE BAD REVIEWS. STILL THE SAME AWFUL COMPANY.SCAM! DO NOT USE THIS CAR RENTAL! They took us on a ride with the toll fees. Told us as soon as we got there that you wont be able to get around unless you take the toll pass since Florida is full of toll lanes which they give you for an exorbitant fee of 13.99 A DAY!! We had the car for a total of 5 days. Paid 54 for rental then 50 for insurance AND AN ADDITIONAL 75 DOLLARS for that toll pass. She did give me the option of deactivating the card but warned me that if we mistakenly pass a toll lane there will be a 250 DOLLAR CHARGE!I researched this for a few minutes while my husband paid for it, then I found out that I can get a pass pm for 20 dollars at a retail store. And the actual tolls would come off only as I used it. Most small toll roads are between 50 cents and 1.50. So I told her that Id like to deactivate it so she said sorry I already charged it and I cant refund it now. I mean for real??And wait. When I told her that I checked up online and found that you can buy one she said well, you anyways wouldnt be able to use it. You cant put your pass on our car because the charge comes to whovers license it is which is complete baloney. SAVE YOUR MONEY AND GO ELSEWHERE. THEY ARE JUST HERE TO SUCK YOUR MONEY OUT!Plus the insurance part.. They asked us for our own insurance to put on file and in addition charged a 50 dollar for thier own insurance. Stay away. Dishonest company. The price online seems cheap but after you arrive to pick up thw car they slap with you mandatory insurances that are additional as pwr company policy. Even though I simulated a new online reservqtion in front of them and proved to them that nowhwre during the reservation process were you made aware of these hidden charges they did not care and refused to grant a refund.
This rental car company doesnt deserve even one star (null star is what they get from me). I rented a car from them through discovercarhire website, made a deposit of around 25% of the total cost as per booking process requirement, and didnt get the car because my flight was delayed due to strong winter storm in Toronto. When I arrived in Miami, the office was close (they close at 10pm and I arrived at 11pm). Next day I called twice early at 8am asking if I can get the car, the lady who answered just told me she had to check and she promised to call me back but that never happened. I claimed to get the deposit back from discovercarhire but they refused to do so saying I should tell them about the flight delay. How I can call during my flight time?? It is ridiculous. Both Corpusa and discovercarhire are a scam! Be aware and save your hard earned money, do not rent a car from them. There are a lot of well known rental car companies at Miami airport with wide range of car to choose from. I will never make this mistake again!
I have a very bad experience with them, they didnt come to pick me at the airport, I took a taxi to their location, $20 for 3 min drive, I booked car with unlimited miles, then because I also have FL drivers license they said I can only drive 50 miles/day, so any page you book it says nothing about that and if they give you voucher for CORPUSA, be ready to be tricked. After 16 hour trip I had to deal for 3 hours wit f...rental car, unacceptable!!!!!

Do not rent from this company! We booked through Discover Hire Car - the company tried to add loads of extra fees like pick up from the airport, tax, collision damage waiver even though it was all included in the rate. They then charged us £13.99 PER DAY for 14 days for the sunpass tolls!!!!We dropped the car back after 5 days because of the hurricane, they would not give us any discount or remove the sunpass for the days we werent using it, even though they would not be charged for it anyway! Complete scam and all the people were so rude. Not to mention it is a dodgy garage in the middle of nowhereAvoid at all costs!!!!

Watch out for this place!!!! The worst rental company in Miami. If you read the the reviews, they have their own staff commenting to help their review score by putting 5s. Notice the Manuel Marquez comment(owner), he is reviewing his own place. That should tell you how bad it is, if they have to ask their own ppl to make fake reviews. Stay away, they have the most uneducated staff. The staff has no experience in the rental business only minimum wage, hourly workers who only care about the $50 or $60 they going to make that day. STAY AWAY, dont be fooled by them. Ppl have reported them to the BBB and this company has also had to change their FB page because of the bad reviews and the extremely low score.

Avoid using this company at all costs. I live in miami and hired a car for a month with them at a reasonable price. When i arrived to pick up the car i was told that i had to pay an additional rental amount of $10 a day for use of their sunpass badge (in addition to toll charges). This would have doubled the rental cost and it was stated nowhere in their terms and conditions.This is a scam if not theft!!!!!!!PS I spoke to the so called owner of the company Carla who told me that the daily rental charge of the Sunpass is $13.99 not $9.99. I could opt out but then I would be fined $25 each time I go through a toll. The use of a Sunpass is mentioned as optional extras and services in their terms and conditions but if theres a fine of $25 each time you go through a toll if you opt out this is clearly a false option. I contacted the broker I used for the booking, Discover Car Hire, and they immediately agreed to reimburse me and stated they would no longer work with Corpusa because if the price isnt stated clearly in the contract its almost certainly illegal.
We had the worst experience with this company. We landed in Miami and were waiting for the pick up. We kept calling them. No one answers! Finally we get through to someone - and are told that our reservation is cancelled!. No update, no email - just canceled. And when i asked them to work with me to resolve this problem, the customer service representative hung up on me. Do yourself a favor, dont use this company! Terrible, most terrible service.
Easy process and good customer service, I was very pleased because for the drop off they took me directly to my flight so I didint have to walk with alllll my luggge from the car rental center, that is a +Would definitely come back!
Predatory company. On their site it says no hidden fees and it doesn’t still list mandatory Sunpass fees. They don’t let you use your own Sunpass like other reputed rental companies. The person assisting is very slow and they have no sense of urgency. A rental that I went in thinking would be $280 turned out to be over $600 because of the mandatory Sunpass. I told him I won’t be using $10-15 worth of Sunpass a day but it didn’t matter. He didn’t try to work with me either. After this, he offers a car that smelled of smoke had missing side window panels etc. when I refused and asked for something newer he kept the new cars for “reservations” and offered me an older car that had food crumbs in it and wasn’t clean. This is despite me telling him that I had my very young kids in the car. The return was ok, but we had to wait for 20 minutes because that’s how long it took to get him to take care of one customer.Do yourself a favor and don’t use them. They are terrible operators and you WILL be unhappy.
We hired a car from these gentlemen through Discoveri Car Hire. To pick up the car they paid us much more than the budget set. Also on the car return we were charged with the costs of a small damage we did not do and did not appear on the photos. They told us that the car had not gone a mile, instead the documents testified that it had already gone 88. In short, these gentlemen are seeking, with scorn, to make money with every excuse. Do not hire cars from them.
If I could give this place no stars or negative starts I would.This company is more than the pervious reviews described, a SCAM or a PLAGUE.They should not be trusted.While my experience in Miami was great and the service I received from their staff was great....I was surprised to notice a $150 charge on my credit card. After weeks of trying to soeak to someone, it was finally disclosed to me this fee was for smoking in their car....WHAT??? I was not only shocked, but pissed off...how could they come to this conclusion when my husband and I dont even smoke cigarett.The company called themselves sending me the PROOF of how we smoked in their car, but upon receipt, the pictures were no more than a dirty driver side carpet floor and the interior of the car. No cigarettes, no burns, no ashes, no smells NOTHING!Now the company is refusing to pick up the phone (using caller id) or even return any of my multiple messages, via the phone and email.While this company may offer a cheaper rate for a car rental....they WILL find another way to illegally and erroneously charge your credit card some fee theyve trumped up themselves. Then because they figure people are traveling from other states and dont have the time to battle them over these fees, their next tactic is to just completely ignore or dodge calls until we go away.Not me! I wont go away until this company makes right and reverses the fee charged on my credit card.
