I enjoyed the 24 hr fitness ctr.The workers are so friendly and helpful. I was visiting from Alabama. My water Aerobics class was very relaxing and enjoyable. The water in the locker room was cold. The water in the family locker room was hot. I was always able to showerIn the family locket room. I really enjoyed the steam room and the Jacuzzi. Thank you for a wonderful experience.

Every time I come to this location a lot of things are not working. The jacuzzi isn’t hot, there’s no hot water in the showers, and the wet sauna doesn’t work. The showers give out only cold water so it would be great if someone would fix that. Is these issues would be repaired soon that would be appreciated.

I was angry at first how they handled the COVID19 situation. One hour a day wasnt a good idea. I tend to be there minimum of 2 hours. So far they have opened up everything. Showers and weights. Members tend to disinfect the weights and machines. The only thing I hate so much is, they closed their outside swimming area. They have basically eliminated the reason to take the kids to 24hr and making it family time. Allowing them to swim while mom and dad workout, or having sun after a workout. I truly hope they chamge their minds and open up the outside pool again. We need to stop listening to California, this is Texas.

Canceled and they kept charging me during the pandemic and they wont help dispute charges when I didnt use this gym. Stole my money charging me for not using their gym. Dont go to this gym. Getting a hold of someone to help you is impossible. Zero stars

No hot water in showers ... ever! . Steam room always broke. Hot tub always out of order. They only make apologies and excuses. I got a full refund! Dont waist your time with the gym in mesquite! The workers act bougie... as if this is the best gym on the planet. But the truth is...its the worst! This is not an opinion...these are facts. Shame on this gym...taking peoples money...and not being open 24 hours! They expect you to pay full price for half service.!!!! They get away with it because nobody says anything!! They think people are stupid. But not me... I got a full refund .

The gym is close to the house, which makes it convenient. However, some of the equipment has fallen in disrepair and as of late it is taking longer than usual for the staff to get it fixed.

Great gym yet the rating is because the sauna nor steam showers are still not open, I have been going to other gyms such as LA fitness and another one that I must go out of my way for the sauna. They have their saunas up and running with a certain amount of people allowed in, what’s the issue?! 24hour fitness is not no high end gym. Open the sauna up!

I do not recommend my family, friends, Veterans, and motorcycle riders to even consider coming here. Ive never been treated this bad for being a Veteran and a motorcycle rider. Ive received no respect or the courtesy for when i was reporting the parking lot problem. When other cars and trucks would park so close to my motorcycle in the motorcycle parking spaces that the gym provides. The bad part about this is that I would always riding my motorcycle to the gym, everyday. So this was becoming a problem for me daily. The staff did nothing but say yeah we know. They fully know who i was, being a gym regular or a gym rat and even then nothing was done. Even though there were several times i would see the drivers either parking their vehicle in the motorcycle parking lot or about to leave. I would kindly ask why would they park here in the motorcycle parking lot with their car. They would say no body is going to do anything about it since the gym(24hr fitness) doesnt care and would threaten me to go and park somewhere else because my bike was to close to their vehicle.Again Ive informed the staff and the supervisors of the gym and nothing happened.By this experience had to be the worst experience Ive had from a gym.So again Ill say this to my FAMILY, FRIENDS, VETERANS, AND MOTORCYCLE RIDERS!!!!TO AVOID THIS GYM AND CCORPORATION overall.

No enforcement of pool rules. Its unsanitary for members to use hot tub and pool witn all thei workout clothes. Why not some big signs in the pool area? People use all kinds of excuses. Plus the filters get clogged from the lint of t shirt material.

I’ve never worked out in a gym before until today and honestly I sat in the car for about 10 minutes scared to go in prior lol. I thought I was going to feel overwhelmed and not know where to start but the manager was super friendly and greeted me immediately, gave me a walk through and gave me some beginner tips . The staff was super nice and never at any moment made me feel like I was less just because I didn’t know anything. Definitely excited to start this new fitness journey ❤️

Was so glad to see them open during Covid. When I signed up they explained the new polices concerning the pool. Only 4 at a time. Reservations required 24 hrs in advance. Sauna and other rooms closed.Then today ( my 2nd visit) I go in to find 6 in the pool, more in sauna room. Ones in pool drink water bottles. And staff was ok with it all.So why put things in place, then ignoreWhy go to a place designed to help one get healthy only to increase the exposure to the virus. 😒😒😒

Only good thing about this place is the pool, big Sauna, and the fact that it’s “24 hrs”. But the price a month is not worth it and definitely not worth it for those who signed a contract who have to pay the remaining balance if they want to quit before the time is up. You would think for the price, they would at least have better water fountains, and NO BROKEN MACHINES, but nope. Seems like they pay a lot of money for their workers who do nothing but stand around and talk. Can’t wait to find a better gym :)

I’ve have been a member for 12 years or more. I had one bad experience. Someone stole from my locker while I was in the shower about three years ago. Unfortunately, there are unscrupulous people in the world. The management has changed since then and I have seen noticeable improvements. I have been especially impressed with facilities. Anthony is a hard worker who takes pride in his work. The men bathroom and showers are always clean. The pool, steam room, world pool, and sauna are cleaned regularly. The activities offered are quality with great instructors! I recently started the Zumba, Bodycombat, Body pump, and they even have Yoga! The staff always greet me with a smile when I arrive and when I leave.I would have given five stars if it weren’t for the bad incident, but I haven’t had any problems since the changes in management.

They have 4 squat racks that have deadlift platforms. I just started going to this location but so far I havent had to wait for a rack. Im very pleased about that.

Run from this Horror Show. They want your money...all of it. Attempted to inquire about an upgrade. In the interest of full disclosure an honesty, I was granted this sites access once prior. I am a long time 24 Hour Fitness member / Sports Membership. Alex at the front desk said youve been here before so its 25.00s today. I asked to speak with corporate. They pointed me to the table / workstation specified for this. They have a station, for unhappy customers with an 800 number and a phone. The manager offered no assistance. A very nice trainer helped. Helped meaning manager gave me the wrong number. Alex, is the manager. No smile....no upgrade offer. Nothing. The reason he has a job, location. This is by default the best facility in the area. I will not walk into the facility again. The staff does not smile. There is a walking dead atmosphere. When I dd speak with customer service on the phone they were very friendly and helpful. They kept repeating...the decision to allow you to workout is the managers discretion. The manager while I was on the phone got another sales rep, went behind a pillar then returned and they both stared. I stared back...they went back to their marketing desks. In my decades as a member, and fellow employee of 24 Hour Fitness myself, I never thought someone with zero ability to help in any way, would be allowed to work for this morgue. Again, owners do not care. Membership is high. By location and default.

Love it, very few people on sundays.

The place needs renovations the fitness connection down the street is only 20 bucks for my wife and I and looks a whole lot better. The equipment is better and the gym is much cleaner. Everything here is outdated, I was paying over 80 bucks a month for my wife and I plus children’s club. The only thing I like about the gym is it’s not as many people as fitness connect and they have a pool and the staff is friendly.

This is a great facility with all the fitness equipment for a great workout. The cycling classes by Marti have changed my body shape and weight. Highly recommend these classes to everyone.The only drawback to the facility is the outdoor lounging area needs to be open year round to get our and enjoy the sun.

I was very disappointed just a few days into attending this fitness center. There are no attendants in the womans locker room 95% of the time so the locker room and showers aren’t very clean with hair always in the shower. Members enter the steam room and sauna with their workout clothes and sneakers on even though there are signs right outside these rooms stipulating that bathing suits are mandatory.During my tour of the facility there was a life guard present and everything seemed great, that was the only time in two months that I ever saw anyone tending to the wet area. I was scolded by front desk staff for taking three towels instead of two. This is supposed to be an exclusive club but it feels like the staff doesn’t value the community that it serves. I worked at an exclusive health club and we’d never insult a member by limiting the number of towels they felt they needed, we just insured that we were on top of the laundry --- we bent over backwards to make sure they were satisfied.Thirty to 40% of the treadmills are in disrepair at a time. When it rains hard, two of the weight machines are unusable because water is dripping on them from the ceiling.One female member of the front desk staff isn’t courteous at all.I only purchased a membership at this facility because I am training for a triathlon and it’s close to my home. I need regular access to a lap pool, weights, and I can take my training indoors during bad weather and late evenings.I don’t recommend patronizing this facility if you can find something better.

They dont follow covid precautions

Decided I didn’t want nearly 50 a month on a membership so I went the next day to cancel it and you need to see a manager for that. I had to go back and speak to a Manager. He told me I had purchased a year membership and that I could either pay the reaminging fee of it or just wait it out and have it terminate by itself the following year. So here I am giving them my money until September 2020 Even though I don’t workout there anymore. Don’t fall for the swinning pools or basketball court, you’re better off purchasing a home gym and working out in the comfort of your place.

I have been a member for a long time. The membership has changed drastically. The facility is okay, but the womens locker room is HORRIBLE! Im not sure what the female members do in their homes... because the restrooms are disgusting. The stalls are littered with used toilet paper, feminine hygiene products, and anything else that makes a restroom nasty. I will continue using this gym because it is convenient and has a pool. I would greatly appreciate it if the facility would pay more attention to the locker rooms and restrooms. Thank you!

Great place to work out

Check it. First off....$40 is nothing compared to the majority of worthless stuff we burn our money on. Are we in this to get fit or teeter about? Its our temple...Free towels is an amenity than many places dont overlook. The only thing Id suggest is MORE SQUAT RACKS. Two racks kind of binds on busy Monday and Tuesday evenings. Outside of that, no complaints. Actually, their supplements are cheaper than most nutrition shops which is highly ironic. Some people just are high maintenance. Of course $40 seems high when you only work out twice a week and never see results. Work harder. Simple. Read up on nutrition. The workout is only 30% of the battle.

Heres the deal you have to many people trying to review this to hard and be way to picky. Ive been to or was a member of almost all the gyms in the area. This gym has more to offer then the rest do. Theres something for everyone. The only negative you can say is for the amount of members this gym has you would think it have more space but its not that bad.

I love this gym. It has so many programs that you can get in. The gym is clean. Its big and a lot of areas that you can use. Clean towels always available. The installations are in a very good condition. I was a member in other popular gym here in Mesquite before I switch to 24 hour fitness, and Im not regretting it for a minute!

I wouldnt recommend this gym to anyone. They closed the gym on Galloway, its wasnt a super center, and all the member from there were transferred to this one. Its overcrowded, very loud and dirty. The guys cant enjoy their workouts unless they drop the weights, literally. Some of the equipment is ALWAYS out of order. The equipment is old and dirty. The ladies restroom is always dirty. I could go on and on. If you like a little quiet and just the hum of the equipment, do not go there!!!

This place always is not cleaned, nasty pool area, mold many areas, workers always are talking and never are pending of the place or guests... really paid for services but receive less than 10 dollars of this. No need $38.00 for this...

Really wanted to join, even had time during Spring Break to try out the 7-day membership but was denied. Very frustrated because I was enjoying the facility, but I was kicked out when I wanted to try out going a whole week. Really turned me off from this gym, and I guess Ill be going somewhere else now.

DO NOT GO TO THIS GYM! Without going in to a lot of detail, I will just say that if you go do not bring anything of value...even if its in a LOCKED locker. It might not be there when you get back. Also, the locker room and bathrooms are rarely clean. Ugggh...I would not recommend anyone going here. Glad I left and found something much nicer and much cheaper.

I have gone to this gym since I was in high school. Prices were much more reasonable then and much better packages and discounts were offered. This gym is very unsanitary and not well kept. Towels and equipment everywhere, and the steam room smells like nasty mold. Restroom upstairs is absolutely disgusting. QUITE A FEW Cardio machines seem to be out of service for a very long time before they are fixed. Staff has changed over the years and I have been very disappointed in the customer service provided by new management. Kids club seems to be at capacity quite often because they are understaffed. Huge inconvenience for single moms whos time is of the essence. I could go on about how horrible this place has become. HUGE disappointment considering you are paying more for a nicer gym.

I go to this gym four times a week from around 11am-2pm or 8pm-1am and the atmosphere is great. Everyone is in their zone working hard. The equipment is always there and it is never hard to find a piece that isn’t already attached.

The rating for this gym should be...0...I got my membership about 7 months ago and have been looking at the same piece of gum in the showere stall unless it was removed today doubtful. the staff only concern is sales it smells like a garbage truck the pool and jacuzzi dont have enough water to function properly you can lithely see the dead skin piling up on the bubbles in the corners this should be a 20$ gym payment not what Im throwing away now the company should shut this place down remodel fire 95.9% of the staff and try again

Disappointed...I joined 4 weeks ago because i found a place that offered lots of zumba in addition to the weights, etc. Ive been to the zumba classes and after two weeks they canceled the class I really liked (Angela) and the other one that I take on Tuesdays and Saturdays is terrible. The instructor is very nice, but her rhythm....and most of the dances are not actually zumba. Now, Im back to the drawing board trying to find a good place for zumba and Im locked into this memberhship for a year...ugh!

If I could give them a zero I would. They lied to me when I signed up..I was told I could cancel the membership when I get ready and that was not accurate. I have to send a email request and wait for them to get back to me. I will never ever go back again. It’s just away to get more money out of people.

Facility is small, has a small free weights area. Small saunas, small cardio section & small studios. Definitely outdated and needs to be remodeled, not worth the price. & staff is never present when needed. Only good thing about this gym are the pools!

I agree with Dawn. I was a member of the small 24 Hour Fitness on Galloway. I could go whenever I wanted it and there was a good availability of machines. Of course, there were about 2-3 broken machines. When they closed this one on Emporium Circle down for renovations, the smaller one became a mess! Too many broken machines. Bathroom, locker room, and exercise floor became disgusting. I was over it and started walking at the park until this one opened. I thought that since the gym was obviously bigger that the crowd wouldnt be so bad...pssh! Also, the familiar faces I seen all the time at the smaller one have disappeared. && I dont blame them. Thats why Im changing clubs or to an all access membership.

Excellent area for the latest work out equipment with pool for swimming laps. Also has an excellent program to entertain the kids while working out.

Joined initially at the Rockwall facility, but the drive became too long as I work on 635 and I work out at lunch. This gym has a better atmosphere,more amenities and cleaner toilets and showers. I gave it a three because all the showers dont work and the locker room should be cleaned and maintained regularly. If I come at lunch and its filthy, I can only imagine what its like during the heavy traffic times. Great staff, but not worth the additional premium.

For the price your paying I think its not bad. Everything is clean and staff is nice. People here are mostly old people lol but they are cool . U can go to other gyms for 10 bucks but you will have to wait your turn to use equipment and no towels there oh and no shampoo either. U get where this is going? Lol yea 40 bucks is nothing .

Decent gym, but quite overpriced and very crowded. Went here for 2 years before they raised prices. I would go back if they made the price structure more reasonable. There are many gyms in the area which are half the price or less. The only real reason to go here over other gyms in the area would be for the pool, sauna, kids club, or to work-out past midnight. I dont use any of these amenities, so the club is not worth the price to me.

There used to be two 24 hr. Fitness in Mesquite. They shut one down and crammed us all into this one. Its overcrowded. They do have an Olympic pool and basketball court which is great. My biggest complaint is they changed the hours of the kids club. When children are released from school they close it and dont re open until 5 pm, during which time the club is guess what? Overcrowded. I complain to management, management gives me the phone # of corporate saying its their decision. Upon calling corporate Im told its managements decision. Another example of passing the buck.

This location offers all the stuff you want, but its been through a bunch of management changes over just the last year. The members dont take care of it, and the staff are friendly, but also give off the sense that they cant be bothered with things.Also, its a relatively safe location during the day on weekends, but break-ins and other shady dealings happen frequently in and around its parking lot.

This is a good gym for me. I go in the late evenings due to my work schedule and, it works out great. I show up just after peak hours so I get to park close and dont have to weight for a bench press or a squat rack. I really dont have any complaints about the staff... mainly because I go to work out and I dont care if they smile at me on the way in. The free towels are a nice touch and the sauna is amazing! I must say that I wish they had old-school iron weights in lue of the rubber ones... And an actual power cage or rack, not the step things they have to squat from. A bit pricey but really just equals not going to hooters or not buying fast food for a month, budget. So yeah good deal.

Can be a great gym and move back to the Competitive to Rival the other Gym in the Area...a List of things that should take place effectively..UpDate that Dirty Carpet Upstairs.. Update All the Bicyles Upstairs, Clean that black Mold out the Showers.. Paint the Area where the inside Pool is located.. Update the Water Fountain in the Pool Area.. These Suggestions would be A great start in maintaining your customer base and Not allowing your customer to jump ship and going to the other 5 gyms near by.

Very nice and clean. Friendly staff, especially Lee. I feel safe at night when Lee is working. Warm towels. Courteous patrons overall. Guest lockers and ample parking.

My husand’s locker has been broken into three times within a year. Each time management offers little empathy or support. We feel violated and it’s unexceptable to pay membership fees and expect your belongings to be safe when locked and secure. We are never setting foot in this location again. We recommend you don’t either.

Nice gym, but upstairs were the equipment is, feels very congested. The basketball court is full size but not alto of extra room outside of the actual court and no kids are allowed on the court. Early in the morning 6:30-8:00am seems to be the best time to get the court to yourself.

The condition of the womens restroom is ridiculous!!! There is one toilet that has been out of commission for at least 6 months and today their solution was to tape the door shut! Another toilet only has half a seat!! They say that they dont have a facility person to go on there and fix these issues!! Hello people Home Depot is just down the street!! On any given day several of the machines upstairs are broken! Where are my membership fees going?? Not to the care of the gym!!

I would have gave this gym a 5 star except its very dirty and crowded. I dont believe the staff means for it to be dirty because they sure do get tons of ppl at this gym, so I understand. The staff is great and they have tons of classes. Didnt see the kids club.

Jonathan, Vicky and Shawan were so friendly and took the time to explain everthing and made sure i understood!! Only complaint i have is the swim suit spinner does not work.

When it was new, I was very proud of the place and enjoyed going. Its way too grungy for human comfort, though, now. I can almost understand saving money on paint. (It doesnt seem to have been repainted in the 15 years it was built, certainly no change in color) But regular cleaning is a must for a gym and judging by the sticky film on everything, Id say once weekly or even monthly is all it gets. The carpets need to be steamed at least twice a week, the showers should be scrubbed down daily! Im sorry but if you put more of your investment in these things rather than your marketing training, the marketing will take care of itself because youll have better membership retention and thats money earned, too. After several complaints in person and online, Im finding myself another gym.

This gym is amazing! It has a spa, 2 pools, multiple varieties of workout machines to choose from, a basketball court, a shop, a sauna, a steam room, and a bunch of lockers on both floors enough for everyone. Very friendly environment.👍

I love the environment. Everyone there is very friendly. This gym has really motivated me and i am down several pounds.

The gym itself is great and clean. but the daycare is only for 1 hour a day. and if your child cries they call you from your workout to take them even if they are potty trained. big inconvenience. especially if your taking one of the offered classes or in the pool. and the young ladies in the day care were really quick at the mouth about what they were not willing to do to accommodate the member.

I generally like this gym, the staff pays attention and its generally clean. In the evening and late nights it can become a mess, people leaving equipment & towels all around, but in mornings its fine. Sundays the place is deserted so its peaceful in the afternoon. My biggest high point is for the personal trainers who really do know their job and how to work with their clients. Because of this, I am much more motivated to spend more off time here.I have also gone to the one at Plano Rd & Campbell, much smaller and can use a remodel. Lots of well worn equipment, and still depends on the care of the people exercising to actually clean up after themselves.

Im giving it two starts, one star for the great staff that work in the KIDS nursery and one star for class INSTRUCTORS. The front desk is rude, notably two women, and the manager is clueless. OSHA would probably shut them down in a heartbeat if walked the gym and saw the mess of the locker room, mold and foul odor! The gym does take months to repair or replace things whether it be broken down machines, water fountains, toilets and sinks. I have access to all the 24 hr gyms and this is the worse one I have ever seen.

Upon arriving this evening I was informed the kids club is closed due to an accident. It would be nice if their computer system would send out a text alert to the parents therefore we do not waste our time coming up here. Really, they could update quite a few things like some of the equipment. Ive been a member of this gym on and off for 12 years and it has remained the exact same. Come on, with all the options you have now days when it comes to joining a gym, you think they would come out of the stone age. This one has the most disgusting bathrooms. You would think with all the kids they have staffed at once, someone could clean them but that would mean they had to work so probably not.

Been a member since 2009 never had to complain about club till now. Horrible customer service. Under staff all the time.(kids clubs) Trash cans over flowing with bottles of water. Management is always in the office messing with there phone. A lot of machines not working. Over all not a pleasant place to spend money to work out.

I am there every morning 2 times Silver Sneaker class 1 Senior fitness with amazing Andrea and 2 Aquarobic Monday thru Friday! Alex is a true leader. I been a member since 2013 and he is a best manager so far because he always listen and he is always honest with us.He always try to help with whatever we( members) need.He was very patient in December when people were coming and asking questions about Silver Sneaker program. My daughter and her husband tried out 24 hour fitness Mesquite in December! Alex show them around and advised them to join 24 hour fitness with military rates . Every day this young man has a smile on his face. And that’s why I am very upset and I will ask people in class to leave honest review about Alex customer service! Thank you Alex.

4 water fountains on the 2nd floor. Since I got out the army Nov 2016 I have been a member at the Mesquite location. Not once since that time have these water fountains worked. This is sad for such a prestige fitness center and not to mention it isnt what i prefer to pay for...

Awesome pool, sauna, hot tub, small b-ball court, and family changing rooms. Clean! It just needs more water pressure in showers and preferably the half wall partition in them too for our Hygeine bag, bikinis, and towel.

Nice facility, but as usual at all 24 hour facilities they never have clean restrooms and you can count on mold in the showers.

Very big and nice gym! Has everything (plus more) you need to get a successful workout in. Has an outdoor and indoor pool, steam and sauna room, basketball court, theater-cycling room, crossfit sections and a very nice weight sections as well as cardio rooms.

Loved this gym. People are very nice. Great options for workouts.

I actually worked here and there are some things to know. Broke equipment almost NEVER gets repaired due to having 1 guy (who quit) on staff for repairs. Locker rooms are cleaned about once ever 3 months. Even the front desk is falling apart. Towels are hardly ever kept and when washed, only wish a cup of powder soap and about 3 times as much bleach. Go somewhere else

I would give a two, just so there is more to work with for improvements here.There is just a few things.Yesterday I called to find out some general information, Michelle answered in a rude way like she had something better to do aside from giggling at the counter. After I asked a very simple question, again, like always with manners I say thank you. What followed was a stuck up reply and a loud hang up as if I was the reason she had to actually work.Aside from this experience which set me off, my initial process to start here did not include my military discount and paying normal price. Which Im perfectly fine with, but do not gloat about vets, military and charge them the normal price and say your job friendly buy only higher females to laugh like hyenas and males who complain about the individuals who lift there not re rack the weights but do the same themselves to show off for these said hyena laughers.Lastly aside from the equipment braking every so often this gym would actually be a great place to lift, again, minus the attitude like all the employees who are entitled to everything because theyre stuck up.

Sauna and steam room been duty lately and theres yellow-orangy nasty stuff on walls. mens restrooms never have toliet paper, family restrooms smells like pee and theres duty towel everywhere. Really like this location because is near my house, but this club needs t a good cleanning or some renovation.

My only complaint here is that they dont have a power rack. They have squat racks, but without adjustable safety bars, squat depth is severely limited. So you cant perform a proper squat to parallel without the barbell clanking against the safety bars.

This 24 hours is horrible its always packed half of the machines are broken down you always have to wait or you feel rush because someone is standing next to you waiting on the machines. Oh and the female looker room is always nasty with tampons running out of the box in the restroom filthy the staff is not friendly. I actually cancelled my membership I rather workout out side.
