I can’t say enough wonderful things about The Camp-Mesquite. My experience from the sign up process, the tour of the facility to the guidance process as i went through the workouts was amazing. The different staff at the front desk are always there to greet me with a friendly smile. The coaches are so knowledgeable and always have modifications available for the beginner client or have limitations. I love this place and am physically seeing great results. This place is a hidden gem! ❤️

Best Gym Ever! Trainers are amazing, they always keep is motivated. Welcoming atmosphere 🤗 Excellent workout schedules for those of us who have a regular 8-5 job. I would never stick to a workout schedule until now. You guys are amazing! ❤

I went to this place in hopes of receiving information and possibly a tour so that I could potentially become a member. However, when I walked in there was no one present at the front desk. I waited for a good 5 minutes and decided to just leave. I was told to speak to some Vanessa lady but clearly she must’ve been elsewhere instead of at the front desk. Maybe the Richardson location will have better service.

So I went to this place (the one in Mesquite), for a tour and to get information about the six weeks challenge. The lady in the front desk don’t know anything about the challenge. I kept telling her that I saw an advertisement on their website and that’s is the reason I am there. She doesn’t know about the program at all, then she told me to come back which I did after I spoke with someone on the phone. When I went the next time, she told me the same thing. Very unprofessional! I told her I would never go back because of her. After I left, I send a text message to someone who help me with making an appointment, I’ve told them everything and how disappointed I was: no one reply to my text! Before, they texted me back to back until I went there. Very unprofessional!!! It was a waste of time. I’m sooooo glad I didn’t join this club.

I attended The Camp Mesquite in the past and wanted to start attending again. However, it seems that things have changed drastically and not for the better. I was gifted a 3 week voucher for Christmas and I went to try to redeem it. The receptionist was too preoccupied with what I can assume were her friends and when she finally decided to notice me I did not feel welcomed at all. Needless to say, I let the voucher go to waste due to the lack of professionalism. I do not know what type of business is being run there but it is definitely not one where I would waste my time or money.

All I’m going to say is that I was sold a dream . So I went in on April 16th after being stood on April 6th showing up at the location and no was even at the location. No one called me to reschedule and when I messaged on the Facebook messenger I was blocked. At this point I should have ran but because I really am determined to get to my goal I I decided to give it a try . After going back in and actually meeting with Johnny and explaining him that I was in need of one on one training because I need to be taught the proper way to do the exercises I was tossed in a class where I was paired up with another person that had no clue what she was doing and the trainers never looked my way to show me how to properly do anything. So the very first day that I was there I informed Johnny that I was not comfortable with this class because I was looking for one on one like I informed him. He then told me no worries that he would take me out the system and I would have a contract with them anymore. So me wanting to make sure I checked the app on 4-20 since I actually had already paid for April and I was unable to make a appointment so I figured I was done and of course I paid $111.18 for one visit in April they had the audacity to charge me $127 for the month of May.On April 26th I called spoke to Vanessa and she promised she would call me back stated she had tried to contact me but I didn’t see any missed calls from them at all . Just be careful before y’all give them y’all money they are very unprofessional . Also apparently they have a product they never offered to me I only found out about after a survey was sent to me

Really disappointed, they don’t take cleanliness seriously, the people in charge of the training are not the best, I tried to cancel from April and still May they charged my card☹️ THEY DIDNT RECEIVE MY NOTIFICATION. The person I talk the only justifies herself by saying sorry I’m new here, I don’t know how to do it

I was having trouble posting with my account so I had to borrow another.I would not hesitate to leave zero stars but unfortunately that is not an option so 1 star will have to do.I was having a wonderful experience at this facility until a couple months ago when a new hire (as well as new ownership) had to ruin it all. I met many people at this gym so they know the kind of individual I am, and I would not speak upon false pretenses. My fellow member at the time truly was harassed and targeted as I myself, along with other people were witnesses to the matter. Clearly it was of no importance to The Camp how this may affected her emotional state on many occasions. I myself was also being targeted due to the simple association I had with her or other people. I was told by other members that things were being said about me by one of the staff members and this matter was never addressed. The environment became toxic and I no longer felt welcome at this facility. For a place that considered themselves to be “drama free”, this was not the case. It was quite ironic given the fact that the drama started due to a staff member. The owner was quick to take the side of this new so called assistant director who herself was the cause of all these unfortunate events. I understand that he should look out for his team but he was quick to jump to conclusions without ever knowing the REAL story. I know many other places of business that would have taken the time to look into things and handled them the correct way. Needless to say, I was informed that my membership was terminated which at no point was I NEVER spoken to directly beforehand nor issued any type of “warning”. Now, I do not expect a response to this review nor do I need one. (Although there may be one where he “defends” his place of business against the so-called “false” statements). The point of this review is not to be malicious or prevent people from going to the Camp. The trainers are absolutely great individuals and this review is not for them. This is for the rest of the staff, both new assistant director and owner himself, who handled things in the upmost unprofessional matter. I will not stand for harassment, defamation, emotional, distress, and limitations in a setting where I was meant to be free in terms of working out. I truly could not believe the lack of professionalism present, but at the end of the day I do believe this was done as a favor to myself. There was no point in continuing to pour money into a place the treated my with such disrespect. I am also aware that I may take legal measures if I please to do so, but that’ll just be time and effort that I can use at a new location where I am sure they will take care of there members. I do hope no one else endures such maltreatment but I did want to make people aware of what truly goes on behind the scenes.-Jeannette Hernandez

Ive been a member for 10 months now!😃And EXTREMELY happy with my results so far!I felt in love with bootcamp right away❤This place has the best trainers ive ever had! Every one is so nice and you can tell they are passionate about fitness❤ they motivate us so much! So, If you really want to make a change for good i highly recommend Camp mesquite🤩💪🦵🔥

I’ve been a challenger since nov 2020 best investment I made for my health..the new owners are great. Trainers are amazing people . The atmosphere are positive vibes every day... shout out to Vanessa, gicelly, Jonathan,Johnny and Alisha😀

So I moved to the Mesquite areaLate December and decided to join the challenge at the Camp ! I’m glad I did .. I met Vanessa and Gicely and was given the tour ! I immediately felt right at home Vanessa was so welcoming I felt like I knew her from forever ago .. I love the workouts with the staff and how they motivated you not to give up and go at your own pace .. I love the diversity of the Camp .. the energy is addictive! Thanks ! Great motivated team !

Everyone is so nice and very professional. Customer service is A+ Highly recommend!

Well I am giving a 1 star for the following reason. I was only able to go 1 week out of the 6 week challenge due to work schedule changing. Already being charge 2 payments out of the the whole price. When I try to cancel the next payment, I was told It was not possible due to the contract and I was still going to be charge. Its just ridiculous paying something I am not going able to be using. I dont recommend this gym due to this action.

This is the worst facility to workout at . I was training with them for quite sometime and throughout time it became a personal business instead . Things changed drastically the camp is not the same ... I felt picked on and bullied by the owner itself. unfortunately i stopped going which is okay . This was such a disappointment.

I love the class love instructor she is Hands-On with her class.. now I work out and I tend not to push myself but in that class she made me want to push myself and sometimes for an ex-marine thats what we need that extra person to push us and thats exactly what she did I am definitely going to sign up for their 21-day challenge and then Im going to sign up for their 90 days challenge it is well worth the money and I cant wait to see the transformation in myself..
