The gym staff is there to help and clean very good people!! Never interacted with the personal trainers. Really want to try HIT for like a month I guess they only give a one day pass. Everything thing else is cool. My gym love it!!!

My name is Jean Claude Registre. My wife and I have been member at LA FITNESS since June 2016. when the epidemic started last years, we went only one day Brandy charged us a full month. Since the club opened I was explained them we decided to pay cash remove our credit card from them. Brandy never remembered to remove it. this month I was working I done work late. I was explained one of her staff I will come to pay on last Saturday was June 5, 2021. we went to club she was discussed with front of stranger about. she states we owed her $4.89. because she was trying to get pay . My coworker had the same issues with Brandy with her. If La fitness keep the club will loose at lot customer. she is not good for that job. she already if you want cancel your membership that okay. We tried for half a year to cancel our membership. We kept being promised it would be suspended, then we would get charged. Old accounts that were supposed to have been cancelled became activated again. They stated we have to go in to their location to cancel, which is not a good policy during a global pandemic. After receiving the vaccine, we went in and they refused to credit us for a debit from a dormant account that was supposed to be inactive. The manager, who is spiteful and combative, said she would cancel the memberships. After such a negative time interacting with her, we called the corporate office the following Monday and learned she didn’t cancel anything (no surprise). Fortunately, the corporate professional cancelled our membership, apologized profusely, and welcomed us back in the future. No plans on ever going back to this gym. While corporate was decent, the staff at the Signal Butte location is immature and unhelpful. Would recommend you consider a different location or even better a different company.
I joined in August and did personal training with Debbie for 6 months. She helped me push my fitness to the level. She showed me that I can push harder and do more weight training than I was previously doing. Great experience – highly recommend.
This is one of the bigger La Fitness. The only other one I know that has two stories is on Scottsdale/Mcdowell Rd... and that other one gets wayyy too crowded since its right next to Tempe and other business centers. ...The one here on Signal Butte- yes, since its in the plaza, the parking lot can get crowded but the times Ive gone, the crowd is nothing as bad as other gyms Ive been too. Now that I think about it, this gym is size-wise the biggest gym Ive been to. All the equipment is spread out and they even have a seperate room for the stair machines and theres like 8 of them along with some cable weight machines.Whats also really cool is they have a pilates and HIIT room too. The restrooms are super clean- none of those super gross showers.. and I like how they have a lot of the automatic water fountains to fill up your bottle. The sauna is great too- the temperature is perfect and really gets a good sweat going.Also, everyone who works here has been super friendly.

We couldnt go during COVID because my 84 year old mom lives with us. We asked them to put us on hold but they kept charging. Almost $3000 for a trainer. Now they want more money for us to go see the trainer.
If you are looking for a gym that you feel welcomed this is not the right place for you!!Front desk unfriendly no”hello or good bye” don’t answer if you call. Absolutely ridiculous!!Sales and other staff seem to really hate their job as well and just sit around playing on their phone ignoring patrons.Waste of money!
At any given time, someone is always wearing a mask improperly, over the mouth but not over their nose. Every time you go there, you will see people using no mask at all: they go in with a mask over their mouth and nose, and then they work out with it under their chin. This is common in the free weights section. I spoke with the staff about the problem. They admitted that it exists. Their plan to deal with it is that I need to come to the desk and make a complaint. This makes it easier for them to approach the person not wearing a mask and then ask them to wear it appropriately. I dont understand why they need to wait for a complaint.On the plus side, though this has not happened yet, there is talk that LA Fitness will hire one person per site with a sole job of ensuring proper mask wearing.As it currently stands, I do not feel safe at LA Fitness.

5 stars for facility - Cleanliness is good. People are wiping down the equipment after use etc. Good clean culture here. The facility is great quality. I dont deal with any of the exercise packages. I just have straight membership and Im happy that way. There is a swimming pool for training, good free classes (except HIIT is not free), awesome functional fitness area, and great space to either do cardio or more focused weight lifting or functional training. COVID limited this past year for some classes such as Pilates unfortunately. There is a Pilates room but still havent had the chance to use it due to restrictions with COVID.3 star for training - I see trainers allowing clients to do exercises with slouched backs, etc. A couple trainers encourage slamming weights. One client slammed their weights right next to my wifes foot and the trainer didnt even say anything and just encouraged the client. Im all about gym etiquette and not breaking peoples joints and equipment. If you cant put it down, then dont lift it. Treat people well. Treat equipment well. Its an investment in the future.
Clean, everyone does a great job of disinfecting after they use equipment. Staff are nice and willing to help.
My account was un frozen after improper explanation from the staff and my card has been charged. Apparently it was emailed to me which I never received and refund wasn’t an option so free money for them. I’ve asked over the past year in person how to cancel and I’m always told I can’t cancel without mailing something in. Walked in today and she canceled my account within 5 mins like that policy had never existed. The staff is a revolving door and no one ever knows anything nor do they care to help. I had the wrong name on my account the entire time and no one even seemed to know how to fix something so simple. An IQ isn’t needed to work out but watch your billing if you sign up.

Had a terrible experience with the front desk girl “Courtney” called in to simply cancel an appointment I had with personal trainer she said it was taken care of … but I had a bad feeling so I checked the app and what do you know it wasn’t canceled … my fault because I tried canceling it to close to the appointment but I didn’t even get a call to tell me “hey we didn’t cancel it & you will be charged” very annoying.
I had a good experience while working out. There was a lot of hand sanitizer for me and disinfectant for the equipment to make me feel safe.
Always go here it has a dope environment and vibe. Workers are super chill and awesome. The lady at the front desk with blond curly hair is a real G for finding my lost AirPods. Anyway I’m probably gonna continue to go to this gym for like a long time so yea!
Very happy with The changes they made to accommodate Covid!! They’ve actually done a really good job with the changes they’ve made and to be completely honest their customer service skills have improved 100% since our last membership,, and the change of management was definitely a good move from corporate!!
These people are the rudest group I have ever dealt with. Enforcing face masks at a gym is ridiculous and if members dont want to breath in their own CO2 and less oxygen between work outs they should at least be willing to freeze memberships with no fee at all!! Oh and the touching of the face 20x more is a bonus.... Genius!! The manager (Brandy) wouldnt call us back after multiple calls to her and went ahead and changed my membership without my authority. NOT OK

I recently signed up through my insurance and as a promotion, they give you a free session with a personal trainer. I was looking forward to it but the trainer, Logan, cancelled at the last minute saying that he was going to leave early with no excuse. I went there later that same night for a workout and it turns out that he just left about 5-10 minutes ago. I wonder why he lied..? Anyway, I let the front desk staff know more in detail what happened and they told me that his manager will follow up. They never did. Oh well, its not worth it to try to get my free session. But its still worth mentioning their lack of professionalism especially on Logans part.Im giving this place one more star than it deserves because their weight machines are nice. (Although their treadmills are old.)
I echo the sentiments described in a lot of the other reviews about the management (Jake and Chris). Sales tactics are incredibly shady (which is to be expected). Never sign up the same day, they are lying that tbeir sale is ending that day. I sat with my sister as they walked her through and tried to high pressure sell her into a membership. They claimed that the sale ending today so she had to act right now. Even she was smart enough to say why on Earth would you have a sale that ends on a Wednesday in the middle of a month?. And of course a few days later they had another sale which was even better. She was smart and waited. After all that they didnt give me credit for the referral. I even had registered her on the app and it still shows that she never signed up. When I went to approach the manager about it he said his colleague was on a conference call, (7pm on a Friday night, and they sell gym memberships...such a lie) and then I never heard anything since. This is the second person that I referred still havent gotten credit for a single one. Additionally, if you visit any other LA Fitness in the area, youll notice the equipment is much nicer (and newer), and the overall gym much cleaner.
Constantly have trouble trying to sign in at the front desk. Finally got fed up with it and demanded some kind of physical barcode because their system is always down. Fitness manager walked over gets in my face start giving a lot of attitude. Tells me to get out of the club without wearing a mask. Go to grab my face mask come back in, looking at the club literally no one but employees and myself are now wearing masks. I told him Im fed up with this club I want to cancel my gym membership. He told me NO, thats not going to happen. I told them Im not leaving until I cancel my gym membership so they called the cops on me! Two police officers had to stand there until their manager finally decided to cancel my gym membership.This club charges you over $100 in initiation and starting fees. They are not 24 hours not worth your time or my patients go to EOS or Lifetime

Convenient fitness center that is always hopping, clean and well-equipped for a wide breadth of exercise options. The staff is very helpful, from the front desk to personal trainers. Master Trainer Deb is especially great and is helping me get back into shape after way too many years of not taking time to work out. I always feel great when I leave there after a vigorous exercise experience.
For being the most expensive gym membership they should be open at 5am instead of 6 so that way people who need to work at 7 am still have time to go to the gym. Their excuse is the gov ducey curfew order however they changed the hours even before that was issued. Brandy let me know that she won’t be having her employees waking up early because they are not essential. But for the last few years it was no problem opening up at 5 am. People who can’t work out in the morning due to your lazy employees not wanting to get out of bed should be getting a discount for having to deal with your ignorance. Or just give us a key to the gym because we are not scared to be an adult and wake up when we need to. Change your hours back

Nice facility with plenty of equipment, not overly busy, and close to home. (Where I live its the only facility within about 10 miles of me).But even with all of that based on the very limited hours....5am during the week and 8am on weekends really doesnt work for those who have jobs...not blaming the location but corporate for this. We arent all stay at home parents.But also the fees. 30-40 per month, initial start up of 79 bucks, and an annual fee of 50 bucks.So when you sign up you pay the initial fee plus first and last months fees. Then its month to month but on month 2 they hit you for the annual fee too.So in 2 months time the cost is over 200 bucks for the use of a gym.Ya no thanks, Ill drive a bit further.

They force you to wear a mask during your workout. Fine if your training to run in the mountains, unhealthy if your just wanting to exercise and lift.Membership cancelled.
Love my membership. All the locations I have been to are awesome. Great selection of machines, clean facility and locker rooms. They also have a big swimming pool and sauna. They also have the option to pay for a personal trainer if you want. I was always a little nervous to go to the gym but I feel very comfortable at LA Fitness.
Today I joined, I spent sometime hanging out there. The atmosphere was light & friendly. The club doesnt have to be SUPER (spotless)clean every second of the day. BUT the staff need to be friendly & welcoming, thats what is important to me. I had my free training for signing up. Austyn is very welcoming and makes you feel comfortable to talk with. Thank u. Thats important to me as well. Jennifer very welcoming & open. Very comfortable to talk with too.
Bill was so helpful and wonderful when I visited Arizona to see family. I really appreciate his patience, his knowledge of this location, and his passion for health and fitness. When you sign up for a membership, make sure to see Bill!!!
If basketball is what youre looking for, this is not the club for you. After covid, they removed one rim and left the other.Their logic says its perfectly safe for people to play on a half court, but deadly if those same people play full court.We suspended our accounts to the $5 minimum until we find a club with real leadership.
Brandy performed poor customer service that should not be ignored by corporate. I came in with my usual 2 guest and the system reset so therefore my guest needed their ID’s to sign them up again. My guest have had to reset their account 4 times now so I asked why we kept having to renew my account because it’s getting a little bit old. And she just stood there for a second with her eyebrow raised and arms crossed and said that they have been closed for 2 months so they had to restart & that “it’s not only you” and threatened to delete my account when I was asking a simple question. I have worked retail for 4 years and I would have never threatened to cancel a customer account just because they were upset about something like this. As a 20 year old that was very immature of her. As an employee your job is to help. And I know others who’s had problems with Brandy as well. She’s not very professional and does not represent La Fitness well. I called another location to find out more and they informed me maturely that their policy is to reset accounts ever 3 months and told me that they are always there to help and clear things up. I also had them check to see if Brandy deleted my account and it was still up. She tried saying that I was cussing up a storm inside the building was not okay when literally all I said was “this is stupid” as I was walking out. Like any other frustrated customer. I believe she took things too far, exaggerated, and was very unprofessional.
The manager Brandy is incredibly unprofessional they do not treat their customers well. Although they have proof of correspondence for cancellation they wont honor it. They claim only in writing via mail was sufficient during their closure and still are billing me despite 4 in writing emails since March requesting to cancel. No one called nor explained the necessity to send via mail. However once June hit they have called everyday to collect Junes monthly payment. This manager has made it so I have no desire to EVER work with LA Fitness again. She was told I work in the healthcare field and during the very difficult times as a nurse, she said she had her own struggles and that it didnt matter she was billing me for June anyway. This manager lacks any customer service, compassion, and we are just a number and money to them. I will pay my fees for not using it but never again will I give LA Fitness my business. EOS has been so much more pleasant, they are friendly, understanding, greet you when you come in, the atmosphere at each one has been so friendly and inviting. They care about you as a customer and they are far cheaper, you have better quality workout equipment, and classes. I highly recommend all healthcare workers move to EOS as they actually appreciate our service and are openly supportive of us, unlike this manager who equated my work, and rigorous schedule preventing me from coming in person prior to their closure due to work to nothing and simply expecting me to have known they were to close offices. She had no sympathy and was charging me late fees for not being able to pay in person for April, May and now June and is charging me for June. I havent used their services and sent numerous emails to cancel asking how to do it. Not one response from anyone in this company. They hold no accountability for themselves and treat their customers poorly.
Completely unprofessional.. signed a contract with the manager for personal training after making some amendments to the contract.. they fire him and 3 month later we start getting overcharged. When asking the current management what changed get told to bad anything he promised is null and void now.. we lose all our money additional training and auto renewed .. thanks LA fitness you have our cancellation..
This place is def a view to see with all of the amenities.. but my only issue is that everyone is so close to each other when working out. It becomes a very akward moment the second you lay eyes on someone just because lol. A little more space pleeeeease
They have racquetball!
They’re a load of snakes. Don’t trust their trainers, and they try to push sales on you like you’re buying a new car. You’re not. You’re buying a membership. They also throw fees at you left and right. Never going back there.
One of the instructors named Maria is a total brat. Tonight I came in to take the full body workout which had started about 8 minutes prior, and she yelled at me to get out. Literally screamed... I was so embarrassed and there was only 3 people in the room for the class. I didn’t say a word and just walked out, and she shook her head and rolled her eyes... I could tell the other women were uncomfortable at that point and one of them even got up and left. VERY unprofessional. I pay way too much every month to have one of their employees yell at me when all I wanted was to come participate in one of the classes. I talked to the person at the front and they said I should have full access to classes and am able to join the class at any time throughout (even if I get there later than when it starts). No wonder nobody goes to her classes. Super rude and unprofessional.

I like this location too compared to the ones in the other states I lived in, they are all pretty much identical but I was very surprised people don’t wipe the equipments off before or after they use it, so gross.

LA Fitness is a such a rip off! Buyer beware - You can sign up any time but they will not let you cancel except during business hours with a manager!!! To mail in a cancellation they recommend you send via certified mail....really????Otherwise, you are required to have a manager cancel it 9-5 Monday through Friday. However, anyone on their sales team can sign you up any time.Never do business with companies that have unfair and deceptive business practices - you should be able to cancel the same way you signed up. Scam to try and keep auto billing to your credit card.
Water fountain shuts off at closing? Really? I finish a workout only to not be able to fill my water bottle?! Come on guys, you can do better.

I actually really like this facility. Colby is super nice and supportive. Circular plates thank goodness. Clean. Good vibe. Ive been to at least three other facilities in the valley and I like this one the best.
LA Fitness, and its manager at this location, Chris are UNETHICAL, cannot be trusted and you should take you business elsewhere.My wife and I joined earlier this year, knowing that we would be moving soon and would not be using this location for more than 4 months or so. We asked for, and I assumed were given to sign, month-to-month memberships. We met with the Manager, Chris and he understood this and in later conversations recalled that is what we wanted.Later when I went in to cancel, I was told that I had been given an month-to-month membership, but my wife had signed a year-long contract. Bullcrap! She was sitting next to me and electronically signed the same documents as me. I spoke to Chris and explained the situation to him and he remembered our conversation and promised to call corporate and address the situation. He never got back to me, and I assumed he had taken care of it.I just noticed that they are still billing me. I called and spoke to Chris who again said he remembered the situation and said he would contact corporate and get back to me.I got a call from corporate today and they intend to hold me to the contract and will not refund the four months they have billed me.Chris is responsible for this situation, said he would take care of it and did not.Update: After filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau, I was contacted by LA Fitness. They apologized for the misunderstanding and have refunded the four months they billed me after I cancelled.

Dont sign the contract unless you can take it home and read the fine print. My son was pushed into signing a membership that didnt fit him at all and tried to cancel within the first 3 days like it said and they gave him the run around kept saying they would cancel it but never did. He has asked them every month for the past 6 months why its not cancelled yet and gets a new excuse every time. Don’t trust them. Corporate should really look at this location. I hope they all dont operate like this. Pretty sad.
First, I want to say that I worked with master trainer, Debbie, for a year and a half - and she was great. I couldnt continue, however, at over $400 a month in training fees, plus $70 a month for membership for me and my husband. Debbie gets 5 stars. However, the facility itself gets 1 star. The last 2 times I was there, there were no shower curtains in the womens locker room. When I asked when they were going to be put back up, I was told they are not, because someone tears them down and they cant afford them! Really?? Poor customer service. I agree with other reviewers, the staff seem only interested in getting new members, but once you are there, they really dont focus on meeting members needs.
Just upgraded the gym with a new look and it looks good. New equipment and machines too.
It has been over 3 weeks for the bike on the main floor to get fixed, still not done cant do stairs no elevator, apparently the management doesnt give a dam too busy on their phones, you can build a bike in two days. nothing but the run around sad
Gym of that size should have much better quality scales that are actually accurate been begging them for 3 years to put new ones in. they could use a few more machine special for neck and more handles available for the cable equipment Im sure they can afford it. Also since the remodel they kept telling me some equipment (w am adjustable decline bench) with my injuries need to get a heavy workout is on back order, it now has been over a month
Great place, Chris the GM, made a great deal my mom and i couldnt resist. Amazing guy, very nice and understanding and new the path i was looking for immediately. My mom and i are very pleased with everything and everyone. Thank you Chris. 11/10
Closest gym to us and what you would expect from a chain. Plenty of equipment options. However, was passed on for three days from staff member to staff member until a manager resolved an issue regarding my account. This put a damper in my workout schedule. Bring your own towel, they dont include them. Floor fans by cardio machines upstairs would be appreciated.
So I decided to go check out this location, I had a week pass which I got from my friend. It’s crazy because I went in there and they won’t let just try it out first. Never been to a gym where they like this . First of all you’re not buying a car. They treat you like this is some huge sale.I was super creeped out because I could overhear the guys talking about how hot I was. While one guy behind him was grabbing his junk. Looking at me. He was a younger male: Super inappropriate. The way they talk about their members in the open it’s just disgusting. Something needs to be done about this location. I want to go to the gym and not feel like I’m getting looked at. I really hope someone comes in and cleans the staff out. I’ve never felt so weird out. Don’t come here if you want to feel good about yourself. The sales team will inappropriately talk about your butt and how they want to do things to you that is just disgusting.

I have been coming here for 3 years. Lately the paper towel and the disinfectant dispenser is either empty or completely missing from the wall. There is only one for all the bikes, treadmills and steppers! This place is disgusting! I am looking to change. So should you.

This gym is very good in particular and most of the LA gyms on the east side are also very good. Great weight selection, usually enough free weights available, 2 or more of every weight machine and then way too many of each cardio machine (except the Arc trainer which Id like to see) facility is surprisingly clean even on rainy days. No issues with any staff for me, everyone has been great or I havent met them yet so Im not sure about everyone crying about rudeness below. All in all its a great gym. Would recommend
I want to warn everyone to read the reviews about this gym due to attitude and amount of professionalism that is lacking in this particular establishment. Be aware of the start up fees, everyone knows that La Fitness can waive the start up fee so thats not anything special. But thats not the problem at hand, its more about the verbal attitude that I received from LA Fitnesss chosen GM of Sales John. He actually made the comment that if I cant afford his gym then cancel, which wasnt the issue in the first place. However, I did cancel the membership but to go to a more expensive and nicer gym such as Lifetime Fitness. So John Lifetime fitness thanks you for your awful service and they ask for me to make sure you keep it up because it makes their much nicer equipment, 5 times better locker room, they offer towels, private showers, all the swimming pools, more classes, smells better, and a little bit higher gym fee and longer drive worth it.
It is truly sad that the only reason I joined LA Fitness was because they had a basketball court, and they currently have zero basketballs in their Ive asked for 6 months to get good basketballs in there and they just failed to do so. Its hard to believe that they would invest for $500,000 in building a basketball court and they cant put $100 worth of basketballs in there so their customers can use it.
Their membership pratices are less than acceptable. I feel you are not treated like a person but only an account$. After all these years I will try to find a different establishment.

Everyone has been pretty cool to me. I am not one to take bullshit though so if anything happens to me like the things that have happened to the others that give it a 1, I would probably freak out, make a huge scene, make 30 Google accounts and rate it a 1. But in my experience so far the staff is nice, friendly and helpful. Kids Klub has been great with my 3 month old son. Equipment is clean and nice, every aspect has been clean and always available. Im pleased but am not afraid to change locations if I experienced any issues. Maybe someone stepped in and changed the management and policies? I enjoy it here. I come 2 times a day as well so at 5 am and at 6 pm there are 2 different shifts of employees. So far so good with everyone I met
The gym and equipment are fine. The staff are pretty arrogant and put forth no effort in communicating with already signed up members nor do they explain anything about the gym. My MAIN coral is they never open when theyre supposed to. Weekdays is 5 Am but yet Im writing this review on a Wednesday at 6:30 am and there is about 10+ of us waiting to get in. Weekends is at 8 and I waited till 9:15 last weekend to get in. Theres some serious management issues. If only La corporation actually read these reviews.
Out of curiosity...what sense does it make to mop with musty water and bleach in a heavily traffic area with heavy objects around? I mean its not like there isnt a time when the gym is less empty do do this...oh wait there is. Hope no one slips and gets hurt.
0 stars. THEY WILL SELL YOUR INFO! Do not give them your information. Withinin about 3 hours of our tour we had 4 telemarketer calls. Also the tour felt like we were at a buy here pay here used car lot. Kidz club had about 20 kids and one adult. On the other hand if you don’t have kids and you’re just looking to get a quick workout in, it has what you need, is affordable and seems clean...just don’t give them your real phone number🤣.
The facilities really are great here, but like everyone else has said, the policies and management are lacking.The only thing I use here are the racquetball courts. If they would provide some kind of membership that made sense for those who only want to use the racquetball courts, I would give them 5 stars.
New manager is rude and sarcastic...very unprofessional. Management changes every couple of months. Front desk woman is also rude. Employees lack customer service. Membership fees are misleading and so are their practices. Stay away from this place at all costs. Horrible business ethics. New manager should be fired for his unprofessionalism. They derserve ZERO stars.

This place gets the job done! The trainers and membership reps are a little pushy when you first sign up but if you tell them no their good about doing so. Front staff is great, always greet me with a smile and almost always tell me have good night. The only problem I have with the gym is the free weight area gets crowded but its like that at any gym so you just gotta deal. The people are really cool and Ive never been told no when asking for a spot. As long as I live in the area this will be my gym.
My experience was horrible at this location, I went in there early January to get signed up after hearing about a promotion the company I work for had with la fitness. I went on a tour and everything seemed to be going smooth until the/a manager made his appearance. He was extremely rude to both myself and my significant other. He explained that the promotion had expired on December 31st because your company was too cheap to continue paying us. What kind of manager/employee says that!? I would like to join this gym because of how close it is and can understand a contract expiring, but I will not as long as people like that are running it.
Be aware of the customer representatives playing with numbers. They are always ready to deceive you with registration fee and monthly fees. Always check the numbers before you sign up. They wont tell you about cheaper plan unless you ask for them.========Wish the management would take care of the equipment. Always full of dust and sweat over them. Broken parts not fixed properly.
Not enough strength equipment for women and very little Hand sanitizer.
Classes are not that great and organized. I only joined because it is close to where I live. I hope that classes become better an more times available. Cycle class esp. Cycle is really hard to take when the room is very bright and music needs a pick up. I suggest teachers seek out class at the Madison in Tempe, Music is what is needed to get more attendience
I have had no problems so far, although I have heard many complaints. The general manager even hooked me up with an excellent, non advertised plan for half the rates they have going now and even extended a guest plan for my gf for free. I hope this gym continues to make me happy n meet my needs!
BRANDY is the rudest human being you will ever meet. If you try to voice any valid concerns to her, shell just laugh you off the phone and refer you to corporate, with whom it is impossible to connect. Stay far away from this gym.
Dishonest - When I signed up, they promissed no addtional fees. I asked multiple times to be sure. Then when I go to sign the contract I find that they are charging me for first and last month of service. Ok, I will go with that. But then, 3 months into the service, they charge me $100 as a Corparet Fee. They wont remove it and cant explain what is is for. So I disput it via my credit card. After the the disput is processed they imediately revoke access to the gym and will not refund my Last months service. Total jerks, dont care. DO NOT SIGN UP WITH THESE PEOPLE!!!
Gym is clean the staff is very professional and courteous and the manager will go out of his way to point you in the right direction to help you out with anything
I would like to thank the management for taking Fox and Cnn channels off the monitors. I come to the gym to escape that noise, and focus on body and mind.This location also has icy cold fountain water! (Last few times I was there)
Been to a few LA fitness locations due to convenience with the kids practice schedule and this place is by far head and shoulders above all the others. Best equipment, setup, vibe etc... The only downside is too many blue hairs during the day stinking up the place. And all the comments about the staff being rude are bogus in my opinion.
In August, the jacuzzi jet pump motors were fixed and changed from the best, therapeutic massage jets, to underpowered, virtually useless jets.OTOH, the opposite happened to the jacuzzi jets at the Greenfield location. Which is where Im going now.
I cannot believe the complete disrespect and lack of client service this establishment has. I was mislead to believe funds would not be taken from my bank account and this establishment withdrew a total of $150 from my account! When I contacted the Operations Manager Jaime which I had to call several times before she would get on the phone, she was very rude and disrespectful, even raised her voice. When I advised her I was mislead by John the Membership Director, she stated Well you signed the agreement She had no compassion!! She then forwards me to John and says if he admits he mislead me she will return my money. Of course he was twice as rude as her and stated Its not my job to babysit your account... I requested to cancel my account and he suggested I could freeze it for a $10.00 charge a month! I requested he email the cancellation form to my work email and he refused stating he could only email it to the email address on file!!?? Absolutely ridiculous!! Worst experience ever!!
I have grown to really like this location! My husband and I have had an LA Fitness membership for around 5 1/2 years and have always gone to this location. I will admit it used to not be the cleanest until recently. Theres also a new operations manager named Andre. My husband one day told me he was surprised in the mens locker room to seeing him cleaning the stalls sweating bullets! I was cracking up when he told me this because he was doing this with dress pants on. Ive been watching how everything has been running and it seems like even the staff are chipper. Sorry for the long review but all-in-all I highly recommend working out here more than ever.
