When my son left Florida to attend college in NYC, he was a 3rd degree Black Belt and twice Gold Medal winner at Jr. Olympics. Master Dennis, Mrs. White and the entire staff have been fantastic with our daughter. They are kind and caring to her. Also, they are a strong role model to her when needed on the disciplinary side of things.Whats right is right, and whats wrong is wrong. Our family is a TKD family. 5 National Championships, numerous state championships, and tons of hardware at home. We recently joined the U.S Best school after 6 years at another. The one thing we can say about Master White and the White family is this is truly a family. The athlete is placed first with healthy doses of positive reinforcement, sport specific play, positive encouragement, and challenges to exploit and shore up individual athletes weaknesses.Though our family is focused on the competitive side of the sport, Master White provides opportunity and support for those new to the sport, those merely seeking fitness, and even those just kicking the martial arts tires. BEST Taekwando school for my kids. We needed someone that knows discipline and hard work. Something long term that will help them develop leadership skills and self esteem. If you’re looking for easy and cute then this is not for your child, but if you want real Taekwando training and best sparring techniques —this it it! Also, we really really love the “team training” and I guarantee you that it’s worth every minute.

Awesome school, not our main school (were in Spring Hill), but we drive over an hour most Saturday mornings for extra training. Evan though its not our primary school, were (my daughters and I) are treated like family. Highly recommended

My 8 yr old son and 11 yr old daughter love going here. The owners are easy to communicate with. Its very obvious that they care about the children. We have found a home for our kids for years to come. I would highly recommend this Taekwondo place over any others. We visited several places looking fir the right fit. We love Master Dennis White and all of the staff.They even have a very affordable summer program. If you are looking for a new direction for your children then you should go here first!

My kids are now 13 and 15 years old and have been attending this school for 11 years. Both the owners of the school are caring people who make sure my kids are safe and they are well behaved. They attended the after school program and never had to wait on the owners to be picked up, the owners were at the school waiting. The owners did monthly checks on the kids grades to ensure their grades were good. The after school program was one of the best things that helped raised my kids and help them stay safe while me and my husband were at work. We have had nothing but a great experience with them. My kids throughout their experience have succeeded not only in the sport but in school due to the help of the workers on their school work and study habits. My oldest daughter has made it to an outstanding level in this sport due to the great coaching of Master Dennis White. Because of his superior coaching technique he was able to help her to attain a World Championship and later this year they will be going to Argentina to represent USA for the Youth Olympic Games. I would highly recommend U.S. BEST to all parents out there who are looking for a great place for their children!

We have attended sparring classes, seminars, Black Belt camps @ US Best Taekwondo Center for the last 3 yrs. This isn’t only a place for my girls to learn Taekwondo, it has helped our kids learn respect responsibility and perseverance, it has given her/us a home away from home. This place is awesome, they take the time with my son to teach him one on one at his taekwondo practice even when there are many other kids there. Master Dennis and his staff are so patient and good to the kids. My son loves it and I definitely recommend it to other parents.

Master Dennis and Mrs White are super patient with the kids, and take such wonderful care of them all. Both my kids absolutely adore them, all the staff and all the friends they have made in the aftercare program and the summer camp as well. I highly recommend US Best Taekwondo!

After seeing my daughter not happy at her aftercare we stopped in for a visit to US Best. Boy was it a difference, kids were active, adults were present and people were smiling. We quickly signed up for summer camp and aftercare. It has been six months, my daughter is happier, more active, has bonded with the other children and is more productive in her school work, plus she has a goal to advance her skill levels and achieve colored belts. Mrs. White treats the kids as a mother would and Master Dennis coaches the kids to do their school work, that is what a parent is looking for in aftercare. To me the cost is a bargain, I only wish we had signed our child up sooner.

My daughter has been with US Best for 5 years now! They have exceeded any after school “daycare” center by far! They have taught my daughter so much from caring for others to structure and responsibly. If there is a problem at home or school with behavior or anything Master Denise steps in to help fix the situation, Miss White and Master Denise treat my child as their own and I couldn’t ask for more! They treat us like family and my daughter will continue her Journey with them as she excels into middle school and high school! IT TAKES A VILLAGE! They are part of my village and I couldn’t be more thankful!!!! ❤️

Best TKD school by far in the Tampa area. The head instructor is one the best instructor I’ve meet and I’ve traveled the world studying budo. A must for any of your children or an adult wanting a great school. This is it!

With all the safety issues surrounding our children these days, this is the last place I would send my child for after-care. This facility is my ex-husband’s choice but I am compelled to share MY experience so other moms have an idea what’s happening here.1. No gate around the facility, located on a busy street where anyone could just walk into the facility unannounced (I did - back door has no lock and with three VERY young adults running the facility, they weren’t responsible enough to check me). I offered my ID, the front desk girl didn’t ask - no sign out sheet to track who picked up my daughter or when she left.2. Insufficient structure/supervision for the amount of kids (see video posted) - two kids were fighting each other without supervision while the young adult instructor was chasing some younger kids...no one told them to stop; I saw one girl get kicked in the face because the instructors weren’t paying attention/reprimanding this troublemaker kid.3. 1 loveseat in the TV room and no other chairs (see pic). Kids sitting on the floor and watching TV until their “lesson” - no homework help, no quiet place to read, no snacks/water, no one encouraging games/puzzles; no art area, just TV and chaos.4. Age groups not divided. 6 year olds with older school age children. If you don’t think this is an issue, you don’t understand child development.5. No outside play option because a.) this is located on a busy street and outside is the parking lot and b.) no one to supervise - so your kids sit inside, have a 30min lesson, then sit again.Also, my 7 year old daughter was left at her school because the van driver did not account for her being on the van. Granted, she was not sure where to go (since there are multiple karate places picking up) but the facility should have had a check list of who was being picked up that day. The school knew she was going to car pick up, so she was in the right area. The OWNER BLAMED THE SCHOOL and said they refused to let her get on the bus.Way to teach accountability, Buddy.9/12 UPDATE: the “Mrs” told me today that I can no longer come IN to the facility to pick up my daughter...I have to call her and she will bring my child out to me. I wonder what this place is hiding…

This place is Amazing! The owners are great, friendly, & communicate well. My kid loves it, which helps to put a mother at ease.

Good safe people to train your children to be champions. i am impressed

I must apologize for my husband’s ex wife. The review that she left was based solely off of bitterness towards this sport along with the facility that my husband and I chose for my (our) daughter to attend. A facility that ABIDED by policy including the designated court ordered parental packet and would not allow anyone outside of the designated individuals noted on the pick up list to pick our daughter up. Unfortunately our daughter’s mom was asked to not come inside anymore as on more than one occasion she has been belligerent and causes a scene in front of children. Our daughter will be escorted outside moving forward to eliminate this.The ride from the school to the facility on our daughter’s first day was a little rough as there is more than one “Ninja Bus” that transports to different dojangs. This was our fault, as we were unaware of this and had instructed her to look for the van that said ninja bus. Our daughter, was amazing. She remained calm and notified the school’s personnel which in turn contacted Mrs. White to explain the mishap. Without hesitation and within minutes Mrs. White came back and picked her up. We are so proud of our daughter and this experience has allowed for a good learning lesson for her. I would like to thank Mrs. White for making our daughter’s first day ride to a new facility, from a new school a smooth transition considering the circumstances. Which in my opinion is quite a lot of “new” firsts for a seven year old girl to experience all in one day!1.The personnel on staff is efficient, cordial and genuinely cares for the children and their success.The facility is safe and secure! They utilize a pick up list that is organized by the parent(s) that has enrolled the child. The authorized individual must show proper ID when picking up the child. Which let me be very clear can be and in this case is different than just an emergency contact. This is to ensure the safety of the child. Unfortunately, in our society there are domestic disputes in the court system. This is an even bigger reason to protect our children!!2.The children have a “lunchroom style” room setup which is quiet and quaint so they can enjoy their snacks/beverages and to work on their homework. Mrs. White will occasionally make rice for kids to enjoy as a treat too.3.A parent is allowed to bring in their child’s favorite snacks (not candy) and beverages in bulk to keep on reserve for their child.4.There are segregated boys and girls bathrooms and changing areas for children to change into their uniforms for class.5. There are also designated “lockers” so that the child’s uniform is kept for the week to prevent having to carry it daily to and from the facility. This also eliminates any risk of a child forgetting it that day.6.The facility has appropriate student to adult ratio. Most children are within the same age category and are handled as such.7.There are no video games and the only electronic devices that are allowed is that relating to school. There isn’t any access to Internet.8.There is a large television in the recreational area that is suited for appropriate age shows and interactive activities.9. There is a large matted room that training and classes utilize.10. There is also a large, supervised gated yard with a tire swing and such that gives children ample room to run, play and to take in the fresh air that is refreshing after being inside at school for hours with strenuous curriculum and no other means of an outlet.We highly recommend US Best Taekwondo. Don’t take our word for it, take a tour and meet Master Dennis and Mrs. White today. Our daughter loves Master Dennis and is eager to show us what she has learned. She is learning self-defense, self-discipline and above all self-confidence! She is excelling at learning her forms and technique. Above all, she loves the sport. An interest that sparked from watching and discovering her natural ability while taking summer camp classes with her brother, who also takes Taekwondo at a martial arts facility in Hillsborough County.
