I moved into Falcon Glen without viewing any apartment. Lizbeth Sanchez helped to the T! She was extremely professional and friendly. She explained every detail and made things very easy. Her determination for helping others is about outstanding! I’m definitely satisfied with my new home and I appreciate Ms. Sanchez with all my heart!
From getting the approval to signing the lease and moving in was such a simple process ! They answered all of my questions, and I had a lot, and didn’t show the slightest bit of frustration! The units are specious and clean with tons of storage! They have 4 pools, parks and dog parks! The neighbors and very friendly and the complex is actually very quiet! The walls are super thick I never hear any pounding or talking though the walls which is super nice! They respond to emails or Maintanence requests quickly and pretty much everything is done online or over email! I love how simple and easy the whole process was and most of all that people are just kind! It seems harder and harder to find kind people these days! I would definitely recommend living here!! I love it!
This place is horrible, they do not care about you or your family. Don’t be deceived. There’s a reason they can’t keep a manager on staff longer than a few months. My family was put in danger due to their corner cutting and complete incompetence. Save yourself the stress, and sleep at night knowing your and your family are safe because you are not a resident of falcon glen.
Toilets not working this morning, fences water and toilet paper bubbling out of the ground, no answer all day at the office, no returned calls, no proactive calls with the plan of action for when we may have use of plumbing or how they will handle it if we don’t, ie.) paid hotel. Consistently poor maintenance, the worst office staff of unprofessional people, absolutely not renewing a lease. Rented during COVID when apartments weren’t allowed to be viewed prior to signing a lease. Nothing has even been fixed. Paying for cable that doesn’t exist. Just a horrifically bad apartment complex not updated inside since 1984. Everything is broken. Connected attic doors to other units is a violation of the law of habitability. They don’t care. $1500 month slum.
I lived there for 2years and getting anything done like my washer and dryer fixed would take several months. Also I recommend well documenting any complaints that you have, so you dont get shafted on the way out.
I just moved in about a week and a half ago with my newly wed husband. I moved out of a home with a different company invitation homes and they were mostly digital. It feels like the place I moved into is understaffed. Because it feels like way too many things just fall through the cracks. After applying we called two different times about what to do next. We were told that the staff of the area were notified and that they will contact us on what to do next. They never called us back until we called them back a third time and then without apologizing told us everything that we needed as if it was our fault that we weren’t on top of everything. So that evening I mad rushed to get all the paperwork and the cashiers check in order and turned in before the office closed. They didn’t let me see the apartment before move-in time 3PM because the apartment was dirty and needed to inspect it themselves. At three I had to wait still well after 3 to finally get the keys and I knew the cleaners were done at 1:45 but the cleaners didnt give the keys back till much later apparently. So we had to wait just two hours before my movers so I had to commit and hope the repairs (minor repairs, but should have been done) would be done in a short time and that maybe its not as bad as I think to live here. I sent in pictures as well as an official check list of all repairs that needed to get done. With invitation homes, maintenance is scheduled and you pick a time frame, they call before they get there. With falcon glen, you get an estimated time and date and maybe a phone call and hope you have the dog kenneled when it happens. They told us it will be the next day, didnt get a call till days later, they never knocked on the door nothing, then next day were told we didnt have the dog kenneled and needed to wait through the long weekend. I was confused, but obliged and waited. I get a knock on the door the next random time on the scheduled day no phone call and I kenneled the dog before opening door. Not sure why there wasnt a knock before? The guy was sweet and did most of the repairs. He was there for only the washer and dryer and didnt know I had a whole list. He did mostly everything in two days in two 30 minute sessions. I forgot about a door stop and he said he told management about the rip in the flooring I have no trust will get fixed. 5 stars to the maintenance guy, 1 star to living here. My car was broken into the second night I lived here. We cant even get into our mailbox because the lock is broken even though its supposed to be brand new. Our neighbors confirmed bad management and a history of changing to new management multiple times over a span of four years. Even one of the staff implied there are so many units to deal with. We thought the price was right, but they charge $50/month for the washer and dryer and $15/mo for a parking space. The space is livable with added emotional stress. Should have read reviews. This is a credit flexible apartment community. There are addicts and felons that live here and too many problems for them to fix that I thought were basic standards. Mistakes.
Stay Away! We lived here for about a year and a half, the floors were already scarred, the whole apartment had not been cleaned on our move in, the upstairs was covered in cat hair, although it was freshly painted, which covered up the water and termite damage quite nicely. They say they have a firm dog breed restrictions, (no pitbulls huskys or known aggressive dogs) our neighbor had 2 huskys that when any one would pass would jump at the glass barking, and clawing at the glass, luckily the glass held, but from our apartment you could hear the glass shaking from the dogs. After we had moved out, I took an extra week to clean the apartment, walls, rails, everything, and I mean we cleaned everything. I had to fight, calling several times trying to get our deposit back, and when we got it, it was a little more than a third of what we actually paid in for the deposit and when I asked about why it was stated that it needed flooring (which was like that pre our move-in) needed paint and other intensive cleaning. We left that apartment better than we ever got it. to make matters worse they refused, REFUSED to let me go do the final walk thru with them. Now I know its so they could charge for things that werent there. If we can leave any advise. live somewhere else your wallet and quality of life will thank you.
I have not moved in yet, but the communication with the leasing agents is well below par. I am doing this long distance, so I understand some delay. However, I received my lease the day of my move in date. I then received an email telling me I needed to sign now! I was originally told I would receive the lease 3 days before my move in date. Turned out to be 3 hours. Everything got done and I will be moving in after Christmas. Thanks, Ray Greiser
Its 115 degrees outside. My thermostat was set at 74 and it only got to 79 degrees. Thats way to hot. Maintenance guy came in the morning when it wasnt to hot and said the AC was working fine. DONT RENT HERE
Every year you are here, they raise your rent by 50-100$, REGARDLESS whether the markets stay the same or change, be aware of this before signing!!!! Also, the price they list on their website for their apartments is not accurate, at the least add another 200$ on top of what it is listed as, for they add additional fees, such as, HOA fees (yes an apartment complex with hoa fees lol) cable, that you will never get the box to (they will keep telling you to call cox but in reality they have the boxes, as multiple managers and representatives from cox told me), you will also be charged for a parking spot, over charged for water (you dont just pay your water, you also pay your neighbors, and their neighbors and their neighbors, and so on..) my water bill is on average 80-100$, which when i lived in a 3 bedroom house, my water bill was on average 30$. You have to also pay an additional 50-70$ for the washer and dryer, which 3 years of this monthly charge, i could of bought my own! I would of rather done that honestly but you do not get a choice. You HAVE to pay the amount, regardless. Long story short, you overly pay for an EXTREMELY outdated, cheap apartment that adds unnecessary fees. The floors are fake wooden floors that easily peal up, they even spray painted the BATHTUB to make it look more new, however it easily chips off and the bathtub is a natural yellow/brown color...disgusting. the stover and fridge, ( i looked up the year they made these) ranged from the early 2000s LMAO. The price you would pay here, i guarantee if you keep looking you can find WAY better and for the price you pay. Do not waste your time here, they are money driven and do not care about the treatment of their tenants and the quality of their apartments. They will ask for too much however they will give you so little. Idk about yall but i work too damn hard for my money, this is ridiculous that they think this is okay.UPDATE: after 3 years of overly paying for a cheap, outdated 600 sqft 1 bedroom apartment, i am happy to say i now live in a TWO bedroom, 900 sqft, 300$ cheaper, completely remodeled, located in more of a nicer area. KEEP LOOKING ANYWHERE BUT HERE. THERE IS OPTIONS CHEAPER AND WAY NICER THEN HERE.
I moved here from Idaho and managed to grab an apartment here before I moved. I sounded like a good complex from what the retail manager Gloria told me and she said I was lucky because I was getting was newly renovated. Needless to say, I was feeling pretty good about the move. When I got here, the moment I walked into the office the friendly attitudes changed. I was harassed about my E.S.A and told I was to sign a document that granted them access to call my doctor to make sure that the emotional support animal was legit. She made it seem that wasnt going to get the keys without signing. (This isnt the last time I want made to sign something outside the rental agreement that I didnt want to.) Im pretty sure that a written document by a physician is all I need to move into the apartment. I dont know the law may have changed. I plan on looking it up later. After that, She brought the keys to the apartment. I rushed over to the apartment and got there before her because I had people over to help me move in. We discovered that the door was unlocked. The floor was filthy. I could walk across it for a couple of seconds and my feet would turn black. There were broken shades, a broken kitchen drawer, cuts throughout the laminate flooring, and, get this, blood all over the walls. No matter how many times I reported the blood and the filth, they refused to come clean it up. They straight out ignored me. Wouldnt get back to me. In fact, that has been a repetitive experience throughout my stay here. The managing office will not get back to you. You have to hound them to get things done. Finally, I got someone to come look at it and take pictures. A week went by and I heard nothing. I call. They said they were taking it seriously and it was going through upper management. Another couple of days went by. I heard nothing. I called again and was told someone would be by to clean it up the next day. I was happy with this and would have dropped the issue. However, when I got home the next day the blood was still on my walls. I called and they said they ran a test on the substance and turned out to be hair die. Heres the thing. Hair die would have died the wall. This substance didnt and after I asked for the test results, they point blanket refused. My bet is they didnt send anyone over. Now, they have fixed more of everything in my apartment, except the bathroom rod - which is threatening to come out of the wall. But because they took so long to clean the blood, I cleaned it myself because it was a hazard and I couldnt like that. Now, Im having rent issues with them. They are adding extra charges. Changes that I have confirmed, with an office representative called Desiree, werent supposed to be there.I asked Desiree to have the office manager April call or email me on Monday 1st of July to discuss the issue. Its now Friday night on the 5th of July and I still havent heard back from the managing office.Further, I have attached some of the pictures of the state of my apartment when I first moved in. Go ahead and take a look.
My air conditioning was in need of a boost of freon and I made a simple request at the office. I allowed their maintenance crew to come into my home while I was at work and when I came home the AC was working fabulously!
Pros:~The surrounding neighborhood of apartments is overall safe with primarily senior citizens and plenty shopping and methods of transportation nearby.~ The leasing staff does their very best to accommodate within their own limitations as long as tenants communicate their needs clearly.~ The maintenance staff is friendly and always doing their best as long as requests are submitted properly and air filters are provided at office.~ The shower temperature accommodates all types of people, appliances work well and it’s cox internet service.~ They provide recycling bins and will accept packages at front office.~ Pools are unkept and rules strictly adhered to so all residents can enjoy it.Cons:~Mainly disrespectful residents with loud music, fast driving, even yelling.~If apartment faces parking lot, privacy is hard to come by and people will often frequent your porch uninvited, asking for money or cigarettes, even stealing small items from time to time.~ The layout makes it difficult to cool the apartment which does impact the electric bill.~ Parking can be tight for any vehicle larger than mid-size car and parking assignments tend to be mixed up.~ Some odd smells may come thru vents from neighbors or dishwasher.Indifference:While these apartments are fairly easy to obtain be aware, they will still expect rent on time and will absolutely add fees upon tardiness. Furthermore, having the expectation of what your getting into for term of the lease is more the nature of the beast of having an apartment complex with lenient credit checks. In summary:If you are a person in crisis or desperation, realize you’re not the only one. If you are a person who loves a life of luxury or cafe out of an HOA you may want to reconsider renting from here rather than complaining about the decision you made. Let’s be honest about apartment renting is all.Open and Honest Communication with staff will be your saving grace. While you may hate to bother them, they do genuinely care about keeping the standards set upon lease signing. They may look tired but I’ve never left a conversation with staff feeling unresolved.
I moved here about 3 months ago and so far it has been fantastic. I picked this place over others based on the new management reviews. They have been great with zero issues. They are responsive, they communicate, they answer all questions or issues I have had (pretty much none). The location is nice for Mesa, right next to the police department. I have had zero issues with neighbors, everyone is pretty respectful. The apartments are actually quite sound proof, not 100%, you may hear your neighbors blender or kids playing, or couple people coming home late at night occasionally, but its an apartment complex, what do you expect. The maintenance crew is PHENOMENAL, they get it done in relative time (usually next day) and its a permanent fix. My water heater broke, they just put a whole new one in. A/C went out, came and solved the issue which would take a day to fix, but in the mean time they even gave a portable AC to cope. Really superb service as far as that goes, which you can actually submit maintenance requests at anytime via their payment portal website.Im really writing this to say that the negative reviews I have seen, I have had absolutely no impression of any of that. Everyone has different experiences, but its not always the complex, sometimes its the tenants themselves. Zero bug issues, maintenance fantastic, fair pricing. A lot of reviews about extra fees - every single thing they charge you is in the contract you sign. The only way you get a fee is if you dont do what you agreed to and there is nothing outrageous that they charge. Now the payment portal does have the weirdest way of showing the billing - it will show like 2 or 3 items displaying all lumped together, just broken down in to reference codes that we dont know, but ultimately just showing what your paying for into categories Still a bad receipt layout. As far as the office staff, they have all been great for me. I moved from out of state to here and we worked with it all to make sure the move was as seamless and handled any paperwork or property preview concerns I had. They certainly raised the bar of what you would expect from an apartment complex.
The girls in the office are so good with everything. They are always willing to help and go The extra mile. The atmosphere in the office is so peaceful and the girls are totally in sync. No matter when I come in they both know exactly what Im talking about and whats going on. When I went in to sign my lease Gale explained everything to me so easily from top to bottom. I feel like this will be my home for a very long time.
I have lived at Falcon Glen just over 6 months, the manager Michael and April were the reason I rented and I have no regrets. Maintenance gets my work orders done in a timely fashion. The grounds are always well kept. Gloria is always friendly when I come in to get packages. I will def. be renewing my lease.
Elexus and Gloria leasing agents made our move in experience the best it could be. From beginning to end they worked diligently to help my family and I move in as quickly and conveniently as possible. Without a doubt these girls are in my families hearts forever for making our dreams of a new home a reality thanks girls!
I moved in January and have had two major water leaks in my apartment. I wasnt even allowed to tour my apartment until I paid in full. I have had nothing but maintenance problems. One of the maintenance guys yelled at my daughter I was told that I was lying in that case. My daughter door has been broken for over a month with no repairs. But if you refuse rent till they fix your apartment you are threatened to be evicted. I really cant wait till my lease is up to go elsewhere and be happy to pay rent where Im staying instead of feeling like you are bullied once you move in.
My dishwasher is so old .....Ive tried to use it twice . First time it flooded my kitchen and the second time it wouldnt drain . I basically use it for a drying rack for the last year. But they came and fixed it but left a rusted broken rack inside. Really is replacing the old rust bucket so hard. All my appliances are old out dated.
The office staff and maintenance were great to work with, they were as helpful as they could be and very professional. My only complaint would be that it took over a week to get my work order done, which for most items wasn’t a big deal - after a week had gone by the girls in the office went above and beyond by completing the more urgent maintenance requests on their own.
Elexus was so welcoming and more than a delight. She made this nerve racking experience a blessed one. Falcon Glen is a beautiful community with great prices! It’s quiet and the grounds are well maintained.
I wouldnt even give FALCON GLEN 1 STAR!! First let me start with raising the rent during COVID-19!!! Next they split the water bill between all of the residents, its expensive!!! O believe me I wish I never would have rented from FALCON GLEN!!! Sucks!!! And Im an amazing resident Im clean quite, and pay my bills on time!! They well skrew you!!
Since the new manager started this place has gone down hill. It is such an embarassment living here. I take walks around the community and the majority of patios are discussting. There are grills, trash and clutter throughout. Oh and lets not forget the smell of weed. Not even a mask can keep that smell away. Cant wait till my lease is up.
Do not live here. They lie and take your money. Without explaining anything.Would love my money back from my deposit. Was told by the girl up front that I would be able to get it back when we decided not to move here. Some guy named Michael (extremely rude by the way) told me I dont it back. NO WHERE in anything I signed did it state that I would not get my deposit back. We never got keys or moved in. I cancelled my application before all that. So I want my deposit back.
I have lived here for almost 2 years now. The rent is reasonable for the square footage of the townhouse and the complex is clean. I feel that the management cares about our community and all of the office staff are friendly. I am getting ready to renew my lease once again here. This is the best place I have ever lived at.
I have lived at Falcon Glen for 3 years. Since they have brought in new staff I have been absolutely thrilled. The girls in the office are always there to help me and my maintenance requests are alwaus taken care of in a timely manner.
I have been here for 2 weeks, Alexus and Gloria have made my move in super easy. I have never felt more at home than I do here. My maintenance request was taken care of immediately after I called the office. Great job Falcon Glen!👍👍👍
Moved in a couple months ago and so far my expectations have been met. The office/leasing agents have all been friendly.Especially Barbara, shes very caring, and immediately helped with my work orders. The community is very clean. When pet owners dont pick up after their dogs(which pisses me off because theres 2 dog parks. PLENTY of poop bag stands for owners to conveniently use. And they still choose not pick up after their dogs) maintenance workers pick up after LAZY dog owners.Very kid friendly. I walk my dogs 2-3 times a day. And there is always children playing outside. They are always sweet and always ask if they can pet my dogs before they actually do.I like this place. Neighbors friendly and quiet! Cant complain!:)
Been rather disappointing while living here. Things aren’t being maintained. The dog park recently had the fence collapse and thankfully nobody was injured but it wasn’t like it happened overnight. It had been failing for months. The pool turned into a green slimy mess which is out of service still. I’d like to know what we’re paying CAM fees for because there seems to be serious maintenance issues on the property not being taken care of it seems with 400 units on property and $20+ a month I don’t see where the $6k a month they are charging for CAM fees are going besides the lawnmower folks. Along with the fees slowly rising it seems (our base is around $950 but July’s bill with fees was literally pennies shy of $1200). I believe things can improve but based on discussions with some long term residents I’m not massively optimistic.
The overall experience has been terrible. Move in paperwork was no problem, but our apartment had several things wrong. There were many cracks, the apartment was covered in black dust, most of the wooden cabinets in Kitchen and Bathroom were worn and broken, there were spiders in the cabinets upon move in, smelled like cigarettes, paint was poorly done especially on the stairs, and many chips or bumps on the walls that we wrote on our move in sheet. After two months we haven’t had anything worked on due to Covid-19. The cigarette smell has gotten worse even though we have a 1year old-Health concern! All they did was have the maintenance guy put a $2 strip of foam along our French doors and the front office ladies have been slow to help us. The front office responds with no concern in their voices and give us many excuses until we continually call for them and they try to do the bare minimum. While making it seem like we are intruding on their time-this IS their job. The last straw has been that on our second month of living here we now have a Roach problem. Roaches in the bathroom and coming from under the bathroom sink. The apartment sent an exterminator that didn’t show up for the second appointment and wasn’t effective. So we hired our own and they swept our apartment of webs and are going to be spraying monthly paid entirely out of our pocket and organized by my husband and I. We’ve also had to pay for hotels during Covid to escape the Cigarettes, Roaches, loud Motorcycle noises, and the fumes from the Exterminators. I have mopped, swiffered, and cleaned the floors multiple times and everyday our feet are always covered in black dust?!? Coming from Superstition Canyon, we 100% regret our move and highly advise you to look elsewhere. We could have saved ourselves a pricey deposit, extra out of pocket maintenance, hotel costs, and not dealt with roaches- if We did that. (I also think you will notice similar complaints and experience here in the reviews)
Everything from the application to move in was incredibly easy. The office staff was even able to accommodate moving my move-in date when I accidentally mixed up my weeks. The staff are always nice, always able to answer my questions.
Me and my fiancé had a lease from 2017 to 2018 we decided not to renew because of all the issues we had with our townhome the dishwasher never worked and when we ask for help from office they were less then helpful the Mesa police department was in and out all the time and to top it all off falcon glen decided to keep our security deposit and charge us for a paint warranty they originally charged us 700$ to begin with and then after not paying it falcon glen sent it to collections and the bill accrued 18% interest annually their completely out of their minds and i would highly recommend going elsewhere.
Lizbeth and others in leasing office we helpful, courteous and friendly beyond expectation. They guided me right through the process and even saved me from having a heat stroke!
Mr. Michael (management) has kept his Michael Landon word to me and my son... He does what he says he will do!!! My refrigerator and thermostat didnt work right so he had maintenance install new ones. My living room blinds dont have a valance and he is getting that taken care of too... I love my apartment home and Mr. Michael and his Falcon Glen staff are the best!!! ♥
I’ve recently moved in around a month ago. Had some issues with my mail and Angel from the office staff was such a huge help, and had a vast amount of knowledge that she shared with me, and she went above and beyond with her customer service. The manager Mike is very attentive, friendly, and always willing to help if there is an issue. Falcon Glenn is a great place to live and I really appreciate the office staff.
I walked into a unit, which I was not allowed to inspect before signing the agreement, being assured that I would have 48 hours to notify and correct any issues I saw with said unit...The cabinetry was so damaged that many of the doors would not fully close, and hung skewed on the hinges. When I brought this up to management, they told me that the price of the unit was set at the current rate, partially due to condition of the cabinetry (This was not disclosed at any time) and that if they were to replace the cabinets that the price would then go up.Basically, what I was being told was this: You are poor, and cannot afford any better, so go away. After being fully dismissed on this particular point, I was told that someone would stop by to verify the other issues I saw with the unit, but 3 weeks later, there has been no sign that the management is truly interested verifying (or fixing) anything. Also, the fact that you cannot make a rent payment to the facility without being charge additional fees, feels dishonest to me, but I was fully dismissed on this point as well.
We lived in falcon glen for 3 years, had 5 floods, multiple pest issues, and maintenance issues that were never resolved. We called often to get things fixed and even in emergency situation the maintenance was rude and would yell and hang up on me. I cried so often living there because of the horrible conditions. Our lease was about to run up and we debated moving but we’re still looking to get a new rental. We called the office yet again to get the old carpet repaired in the front living area, and the office hired a company to come in and do it. They ended up leaving razor blades on my floor which my 18 month old baby found and had in his mouth! The guy left tons of other tools as well. I went to the office to complain but all they did was make me sit for over half and hour and apologized. Then 3 days later decided that they weren’t going to let us renew our lease which gave us 3 weeks to move out! Now they are charging almost $800 for fees due to their negligence and shoddy maintenance. I do not recommend this place! There are far better places that are cheaper and actually care about their tenants! Also thanks for screwing over a single mom Michael.
What do you want out of an apartment? Affordable? Amenities? Active Community? I want a place to sleep with reasonable neighbors and for my landlord to leave me alone. As long as I am on time with my rent, I never have problems. So as long as you can make a deadline, and want to be left alone, this is the place for you. Also, Since Jesus has come on, the Leasing Team has been vastly more friendly and approachable.
Such an easy move. Elexus and Gloria were so sweet. If you are looking for great customer service it would be them.
If I could give 0 I would but for now it’s 1. I’ve never lived anywhere worse than here. Thankfully I moved out this weekend. The staff except for Mike is terrible. If you need to contact Mike they act like he’s the president with all their questions. There is dog poop everywhere. You have elderly people recording your children and the office does nothing about it when they are told. My apartment was a 2 story townhouse. I called right away about the second story floor and how badly it moved. I offered to move all my stuff out of the room to have it repaired and was told no, it would be done when I moved out..... July 9 my ac broke and flooded My kitchen and bathroom, there was water damage all over the wall they said they would take out all the old wood and replace it with new what all they did was cover it in spackle all over the soaking wet wood which causes mold and when you ask the office when They are going to fix it they don’t give you any definite answers. Save your time save your money do not move into this apartment I would never recommend this to my worst enemy
The initial greet was overall good but once the lady came from the backroom came out wasnt the best she didnt even seem interested in helping us and Ive still yet to get the link to fill out my application online so Im going to say falcon glen sucks dont go here very unhelpful people
I’ve lived in apartments the last 7 years. Falcon Glen is by far the worst place I have ever lived. Staff was extremely rude any time I had a question or an issue. It felt like asking them was a major inconvenience to them. On one occasion someone was FaceTiming and didn’t stop their conversation with who they were speaking with. They paint the facility as extremely family friendly. Far from, lots of drug use. People stay up late at night screaming and shouting at one another in the middle of the night. The longest I went without seeing a cop on the premises was 5 days. Living here reminded me of living in the barracks when I was in the army. The grounds are absolutely filthy trash is everywhere. All the staff does to combat this is put up the same flyer that they did the previous month that says throw your trash away. The walls are extremely thin and poorly insulated. Our air conditioner had either a freezer setting or non existent you couldn’t get a consistent temperature. Our SRP bill was consistently over $100 and we tried to keep the air at 75. After we moved out my wife received a call saying we owed money. No explanation of what it was for no bill was emailed or mailed to us. We didn’t receive our deposit refund and no explanation was given as to why. I strongly encourage anyone who is considering to live here look elsewhere.
I am a caregiver for a stroke victim who has special needs. The apartment is an ADA Unit. However when requesting the assistance from the maintenance team to install mobility assistance items which he requires the maintenance team did assist. However, the complex manger had them uninstall those items for no specific reason. I reinstalled them myself NO THANKS OFFICE MANAGER for your lack of understanding of how important these items would help improve my patients mobility issues.
Have enjoyed living here for 4 years, office staff have always been friendly and maintainence requests are done quickly!!I had a issue with my air conditioning. Called spoke to Elizabeth she was very kind and helpful. Raul in maintainence is an awesome kind guy who was able to fix it in minutes. I have also had wonderful customer service from manager named Victoria or Monica, i cant remember right now. Thanks to all the office staff and maintenance for making this a great place to live. YOU GUYS ROCK!!
I love this complex out of all the places I lived falcon Glen is by far the best . People in the office very nice especially the manager Mike and Salem the others are too. Had a few minor issues as soon as the office was aware of it they fixed it right away. I actually feel safe here its a great environment for disabled people like my self and John and my disabled son people who live here are friendly and pet friendly they have places enclosed for your fur babies to roam free its great lots of grass to also I never see dog droppings around on the ground the property is very well maintained .. thanku falcon glen😁
Angel was very professional an amazing she helped me at any an everything I needed I appreciate everything she has done an still doing for me. Falcon Glen apartments is the place to be. Thank u so much angel!🤗😍
Met with Yesenia and she was super nice and helpful. She was able to show me apartments, explain the application process and was approved that day. She was quick to answer my questions and made the process very easy.
I love it here. Nice, professional staff. This is the first place I have lived in since moving to Arizona 6 years ago that wasnt bug infested. Thank you all so much for allowing me to live here.
Angel in the front office is amazing. Whenever I need anything its handled immediately and she always returns my phone calls in a prompt manner. Great customer service
Moved here last year from Texas for medical care and so my daughter who also live here can provide her assistance. The office staff was very accommodating and found unit with a walk in shower for my mother. No place will ever be able to be perfect but by far my experience have been pleasant. Yes police, ambulances and fire trucks may be in the complex often but 400 units it should be expected. People get sick and call ambulance so police also shows up which is standard procedure to ensure the safety of all persons involved in what ever the situation might be. My only pep pee is that in the past 2 weeks had to notify fire department twice for dumpster fire across from my building which make me uneasy but their response was quick on no damage to persons or property occurred. Since it was close and during 4 that of July week could had been fireworks but 2 Wednesdays in a row make me hypervigilant about my surroundings. My service request are taken care in a timely manner by office staff. Reading other reviews with complaints about personal property damage caused by ceiling/roof leaking that why we need to carry our own renters insurance if you opt out is on you. This week with the monsoon storm the complex suffered serious damage in certain units and I see them making repairs all over. Some branches of the trees in from of my unit were blocking the entrances to our units and several neighbors got together to clear our pass until landscapers can get to them. If for some reason you are not happy living here and think management is not meeting your expectations move there are multiple apartment communities to choose from but be aware you will be paying way more than here for a safe community. They have no hidden charges please read your contract and the fees disclosure document provided when you signed lease and remember the grass is not always greener elsewhere its a matter of perception and choice
Angel is the best leasing agent in the office. The fact that she has done so much to help her cliental and prior & current tenants. Angel deserves so much more. I love this Leasing Agent. Thank you for everything you have done to help everyone
Anytime I have needed something, I have called the front office and they have always gone out of their way to make sure they helped me as best as they could! Such a great staff and loving this complex.
Convienant 💖Staff is friendly and helpful and the new manager is doing a great job ☮✌🌈
Since moving in I have had great experience, starting from my neighbors, staff in the office & maintenance. The grounds are very green and I enjoy walks around the community. When I moved in it was a very smooth transition from the apartments that I came from. I was communicated with from the time I did my application to the time I received my keys.
The leasing agents are very knowledgeable and helpful. Communication with staff is great. They are very responsive and willing to assist you with meeting your needs.
I really like Falcon Glen Apartments!!!They have beautiful units and very friendly staff. Angel is a very nice person to work with!!!I highly recommend Falcon Glen Apartments! :)
I lived at Falcon Glen for 3 years .. In the beginning it wasn’t so great but new management came and he is really trying to make it better and it shows .. Moving out was easy and my deposit was returned in full but I really left the Apartment clean ...This is a real review ... not the office making up a positive review .. They are working on updating the apartments and I loved the town house with the French doors it’s nice not to have someone above or below you .. I think with all the improvements they are making it is a nice place to live !
Just moved in to falcon glen, the beginning of the process it was really rough! Then my wife and I started working with Angel! Wounderful, quick, considerate. She made the whole renting experience a lot better and more professional! The most pleasant and important thing of all was how she made it about us, and how happy we were/are as first time renters! Thanks Angel!!!!
Weve lived here for 4 years. They have fixed everything Ive asked of them in a very timely manner. I dislike that my rent increases every year signing a new lease. Im at almost 1000.00 a month and dont think I can afford to pay more again. My lease is coming up in a couple months and Im hoping my rent wont go up again... Every time my air has gone out, maintenance has always came within an hour or so and fixed it. Everybody is always kind and nice to me... Im hoping to sign another year if they dont raise my rent again... I enjoy living here...
Wasnt awful, but definitely wasnt worth the money we paid. management was incompetent and so was maintenance. our towel rack was broken the entire time we lived there, because even after putting in 3 maintenance requests, it never actually got fixed. all of the bug screens on the windows were broken as well, so you cant leave them open long. the walls are thin as paper, so you can hear EVERYTHING your neighbors are doing. and on top of all this, they wanted to raise our rent $200, lmaoooo no thanks
Worst apartments to move in EVER! If I could give them zero stars I would. They treat you good when you’re moving in but as soon as you’re in they don’t care about their tenants at all. And they over charge you for everything. The fees are ridiculous. Totally not worth it for those apartments either way.
Clean, quiet and leasing office staff is super nice and helpful.
I have been living here for 1.5 years and for the most part a decent place to live. The Admin staff are hot and cold, Some pleasant some not so pleasant. The front office has been very responsive to my repair needs.I have only a few issues.* Parking : tenants are provided a numbered space but I constantly run into cars parked in my space after hours. Unfortunately the consequences are not dire enough to change the behavior of the offenders. I usually have to park in the guest spots which are quite a distance from my apartment.* Dog Poop: to many inconsiderate offenders of the clean up after your pet rule as well. The grounds are strewn in poo...lol seriously!Again not enforced.
I had several managers and they helped me really good they answered everytime I need to call them about something that was broken and the fixed it. They moved us in early from the move In date. The people you live by mind their own business and they keep to themselves which I love a lot.
Here is my experience,When I have first arrived I was not greeted properly or welcomed. I felt awkward and like the the office staff didn’t want customers.Until a very nice staff lady to was really very professional greeted me and I felt comfortable. But since the very nice lady left the complex it’s turn to like everyone else is mention about management money hungry. There are !!!!HIDDEN FEES!!!!So watch your pocket book. I do feel sorry for the current residents because I did speak to those who are currently living there and they did mention the place is nice but management is not very friendly they will love take any chance to get more money for you.So my advice... is a fishy place
Money driven, have poor customer service skills. Hidden fees, maintenance takes their time to fix things. Only care about money. I would advice u not to live here!! Not worth the hassle! No compassion for their tenants
I have no complaints or concerns. The staff have always treated me in a professional and friendly manner. I have had no problems with my townhouse since I have been here. I really like it here.
No billard halls, construction delays. Did not get full refund deposit. No walking distance for resturaunts.
THE LEASING COMPANY HERE ARE SO AWESOME! GLAD I MOVED HERE IT WAS WELL WORTH IT.
I lived at falcon glen for a little over a year while i was pregnant with my 3rd child and at first I didnt mind and neither did my children but than come december of 2016 my heater went out and the maintenance didnt come for almost two weeks and when it was freezing in the middle of the night when they did finally fix it not only did it smell burnt when I turned on my heater but about two weeks later the heater went out completely so I had to call again and again they sent someone out for another couple of days. Than over summer of 2017 especially in Arizona when you need your a/c working right and my a/c went completely out and it was out for a whole week where myself and my children had to go spend the night somewhere else because like usual the office wanted to take their time to send maintenance to my unit to fix it. Than i had to call them when I first moved in because there was a hole in the ceiling that was there. Than there was the time when I had a leak from the upstairs bathroom that lead to the kitchen and near my stove when caused there to be a crack in the ceiling. When i called the office to report the problem it was never fixed. I had so much issues with this location and I eventually had to leave because rent was sky high for a place where everything was breaking and nothing worked right for me. The staff was very rude to me and Ive even lived next door to people that would complain about the staff as well. And I have even had some of my childrens belongs stolen from the premise. This place is just a big shame and is way over priced for a location where staff is rude and maintenance takes forever to come fix something. It was a horrible experience. It was a waste of money living in place like this.
This place cares more about the Employees in the office than their tenants and the address on University. Do not rent an apartment on 220 N Greenfield or you will regret it as they do not give a care about that side at all. They dont want to do any mandatory repairs such as repairing front doors correctly to have a secure place to live. They are basically waiting for it to be condemned.
Please ignore all those negative comments. Im a former resident here at Falcon Glen and really enjoyed my experience, the office staff helped me to have a smooth transition to my next community.
This Apartment Complex has changed so much under the new management. They have really gone above and beyond anything I would have expected from any other complex. I felt like I was treated as an individual of importance rather than just another number. Beautiful Apartments. If some small or repair or on an occasional blue moon big repair is needed I have received help within the hour, on one occasion within 5 minutes! Thankfully they keep their places up well enough that requests like these are not needed almost ever. I have already referred this complex to my friends and I know I wont regret the referral and they wont regret moving in.
This is definitely not the safe place they claim. You can count the cops showing up here at least once a week. They have already been here twice just today for not even the same unit. This far from crime free even though we are located next to the police station.Oh...and when you read a review that talks about a killinh in an apartment...it is true. I found out a few months after we moved in that I am living in the same apartment that there was a murder/suicide in. This was staff NEVER DISCLOSED to us by anyone on the staff.
Gloria was very helpful and personable. Made my move in quick and easy
I moved in there as a last minute thing. I was surprised how easy it was to get in. After moving in and having a room that smelled like human urine. I turned in a work order for a kitchen light that did not work properly, this was the first week of Jan 2016...need less to say On Aug 1 2016 it still wasnt fixed. I had a toilet that ran for 2 weeks, put in an order for it. A week later rent in to follow up and saw Randy he came to look at it and said I will be right back....never came back. That was in June. I also has a drunk neighbor that threatened to kill me and my 2 children. I called the police on her 3 times on July 3rd. I called a total of 5 times in just one week. I told the office what was going on and they were going to get back with me...they never did. I had to deal with her threats, drunken behavior, bad language, and her talking bad about me in front of my children. I tried to resolve the situation with the office, but never could get a call back. I even called the cooperate office 5 times, and never got a call back. I could not continue to live somewhere that it was okay for the neighbors to call you names, be drunk 24 hours a day, threaten yours and your childrens lives, beat on my door yelling sheriffs department, beating on my door with lamps, threatening to do damage to my cars and I would have to park them somewhere else. I was never late paying my rent or water, yet got treated the way I did. She I did what was best, and safe for my children...I bought a house. I thought that these apartments would be safe, being behind the sub station and all. I will not be referring anyone there.
Not a bad place to live. My neighbors were nice.
I would give zero stars if I could. If you are looking into this complex, RUN as far away as you can and dont look back. We were repeatedly mislead and downright lied to about bills, parking places, you name it, it happened. Management cares little for customer services and is money-driven. Thats all. When we first moved in, we were told by the leasing specialist that utilities never rose above $40 - we are a frugal couple and ours consistently was at $90 and above for a one bedroom apartment. We were told we received a covered parking place, so we parked there and our car was towed because we didnt have a covered parking spot.Maintenance took 3 WEEKS to fix our NON-WORKING AC IN AZ HEAT. Maintenance also took 6 months and dozen of work orders to fix a floor board that had come up.Finally, when we had moved out, they sent us a final ledger and charged us 3 different times for utilities. Some of which I have RECEIPTS FOR and have already paid. The reviews are all correct - they are a horrific business and I am surprised that with how much customer feedback they have, that they refuse to change. They overcharge you and dont care about you. DO NOT RENT FROM THIS PLACE. Falcon Glen, shame on you.
I was expecting to pay 795$ for a one bedroom, as stated on the website HOWEVER that does not include everything that they add on, washer and dryer (no option 50 EXTRA dollars every month), cable (which i havent even gotten the box for, 22$), HOA (22$), THEN utilities, SRP and water, which ranges around 80-100$, since you are not only paying for your water, but also your neighbors. i am paying about 1000$ a month for a 600 sqft 1 bedroom after all of the unnecessary things they add on!! So look out for that!! Once this lease is up i am getting out of here cause that is ridiculous! I can have a house or ATLEAST A 2 bedroom that actually has updated appliances with that price! Good area, old appliances, CHEAP flooring and yet overly priced and you dont know it until its too late. WATCH OUT!!! there is much cheaper AND nicer if you keep looking!!! Only reason i got stuck here was because i didnt have time to keep looking. I had to get out of my current living situation ASAP.UPDATE: i have thankfully moved out, i now have a 2 bedroom house, 1100 square feet and still paying less then these cheap, out dated apartments. So happy i am out. This place really took a toll on my mental health. Now i am back to my normal, happy self.
CROOKS!! Literally the worst place in the area to live for many reason. The main one is the management. They will milk you for anything they can. In addition to that don’t expect to live in a peaceful neighborhood.. if I could give this place negative stars it would be -5. I highly recommend you don’t move in
Lived here for a year, maintenance takes forever to get to anything. When I first moved in, they didnt even finish it, there was drywall fragments everywhere, bathrooms were a complete disaster, one of the windows is falling out of its frame, living room window doesnt close all the way, had cockroaches always infesting my apartment, neighbors are always screaming at 6 in the morning, the landscapers are constantly over almost every single day and blowing leaves right at your windows, never enough parking, people always taking your spots, and the list goes on and on.
Rent is over priced my normal rent is supposed to be $911 but end of month i get charged $1020 for dumb charges like $20 hoa fee? All they do is blow my small sidewalk patio and other charges that dont add up. I request for something to be fixed and rhey take weeks. Had to wait almost a whole month for my AC to get fixed. Currently have been waiting 1 week for my washer to get fixed and top of that oven is acting weird. They wanna charge you for anything but have no hurry in fulfilling your needs. And REALLY THIN WALLS. Upstairs gets really hot And i can hear conversations next door. Dont rent here!
WORST PLACE EVER TO LIVE IN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!THOUGH THERE ARE SOME NICE GIRLS IN THE OFFICE THERE IS SOME REALLY RUDE ONES. THEY DONT SEEM TO CARE ABOUT DOING THEIR JOB. I WAS MOVED INTO A PLACE THAT WASNT EVEN READY, THE CARPET HADNT EVEN BEEN CLEANED. I TALKED TO THEM AND ASKED THEM TO TRANSFER ME TO ANOTHER UNIT WHICH THEY CHARGED ME $200 TO MOVE ME JUST TO MOVE ME INTO ANOTHER PLACE THAT SMELLED HORRIBLE. THEY TOLD ME NOT TO WORRY THAT THEY WOULD SEND SOMEONE TO CLEAN IT UP BEFORE I WOULD MOVE IN, SURPRISE IT WASNT DONE. TO TOP IT OFF THIS PLACE HAD ROACHES AND A FEW THINGS WERENT WORKING. WENT TO THE OFFICE AND ASKED TO TALK TO THE MANAGER. AFTER GETTING DIRTY LOOKS FROM ONE OF THE GIRLS THERE I GOT TO TALK TO THE MANAGER. SHE DIDNT SEEM TO CARE MUCH ABOUT THE SITUATION. THEY SENT PEST CONTROL WITHOUT LETTING ME KNOW AND OF COURSE THEY COULDNT GET IN BECAUSE I HAVE A DOG. I CALLED THEY SAID THEY FORGOT I HAD A DOG SO THEY RESCHEDULED IT. THERES STILL ROACHES. I PUT IN A MAINTENANCE REQUEST FOR THE OVEN FAN, IT TOOK THEM OVER A WEEK TO SEND SOMEONE AND AGAIN NO ONE NOTIFIED ME WHEN THEY WERE GOING OVER, I FOUND OUT BECAUSE THE MAINTENANCE GUY CALLED ME AND SAID MY DOG WAS OUTSIDE AND HE COULDNT FIND HER. I HAD TO LEAVE WORK AND GO LOOK FOR MY DOG. I CALLED THE OFFICE FREAKING OUT AND TELLING THEM THEY NEEDED TO GO FIND MY DOG, THE GIRL THAT ANSWERED DIDNT CARE AT ALL.I FOUND MY DOG IN THE MIDDLE OF TWO MAJOR STREETS WITH A STRANGER. I DEFINITELY SAY IF YOU ARE THINKING ABOUT MOVING TO THIS PLACE DONT YOU WILL REGRET IT. THEY DONT KNOW HOW TO DO THEIR JOB. I KNOW I WILL BE MAKING SURE CORPORATE KNOWS EVERYTHING THAT HAS BEEN GOING ON.
This place was terrible. And the office staff is worse. When we moved in the unit had clearly not been cleaned and the maintenance guy even acknowledged that fact. The way they clean things is to paint over them. I watched them spray paint our fireplace and oven range. Then when we tried to get them to at least clean the carpets the head manager woman said that they already had, and this was 30 mins after the guy was standing in our unit saying it hadnt been done. When they finally did come they only cleaned the bedrooms and you could still see the stains everywhere. Then they just never came back to finish the living room. Clearly the first few 5 star reviews were fake accounts or residents of the complex getting paid to do it.
It was good and the staff was awesome with helping my daughter getting her own apartment.
I dont even live here. And honestly if my friend ever ask me to move in I wouldnt do it, and not because of them, but because thats how gross and cheap this place is. This place is freaking disgusting. We just spent tgeir first two days of their move in- cleaning. Cleaning the filth and disgusting-ness of the people who lived there prior. Typically before a tenant moves in there is a punch list that they make to have the apartment ready for the person whos going to move in. I know this was not done just by looking at the place. And my poor friend shows up to go get his keys because they told him he could move in on the 15th just to be told, that morning on the 15th, that the apartment is not ready. Nothing has been done. They had movers scheduled to deliver furniture and they couldnt change it or reschedule it because the delivery people would have hit them with an additional 15% fee on top of the cost. And their lease was up at their other apartment so they HAD to move in the date they gave him. They hadnt shampooed the carpets so the people delivering his furniture had to leave EVERYTHING downstairs. They said housekeeping cleaned. I know for a fact no one cleaned that apartment because I was the one who spent the last two first days cleaning it. I even told my friend dont start putting anything in the shelves or the cabinets because they havent even given any of the drawers or cabinets any fresh paint or cleaned in them - thats how freaking disgusting it is. My friend didnt even get any fresh paint to his walls! So we dont even want to touch the walls! we dont know what the hells on these walls! Good thing we dont have a backlight who knows what we would have seen. Youre supposed to do a walk-through before moving, that was never coordinated with him nothing at all. My friend wanted me to spend the first night with at their new apartment and there was no way I would stay there. Absolutely poor handling of what is suppose to be a persons fresh start in their new place. And for what they charged him to move in, is absolutely ridiculous, with that kind of filth and cheap handling. There was like, pieces of shelves missing, look like someone bit the corner of it or something. As much as apartment complexes profit from renters theres no excuse for not putting in a new shelf to replace the broken ones. Theres no excuse for not Applying fresh paint. Theres no excuse for not replacing medicine cabinet shelves. Theres no excuse for a freezer missing its shelf. Tenants are not property managers, or project managers, or punch list managers. They pay for the management AMD maintain people to handle all of that. Tenants shouldnt be spending their moving time finding and going over things that should have been done prior to their move in. No excuse.
Great place to live! Great office staff!
If only we could give no stars🤣They are lazy doing everything as far as maintenance and cleaning up for new tenants. They are way too overpriced for the quality of the inteior. They not only cant get their amounts right as of rent but they failed to remember (as she put it) to send a copy of our contract to us after living here for 4 months. They can never explain where the numbers come from when they are incorrect, their response is always were sorry we dont know how that happenedThey only enforce the rules for some and let others get away with having drug dealers and convicts reside with them. Its ridiculous how they take care of things. Do NOT Move here. Unless you like living in the slums and paying over 1100 for a two bedroom.
Do not move here. Worst place we have ever lived. Stuff goes missing all the time. No one seems to care when brought to attention. Nothing gets fixed. Office staff is rude and acts as if tenants are a nuisance. Squatters as Well. I would not rent here it is not worth it for the rent. The floors creak, air vents are terrible. The carpet has burn holes from when we moved in that I guarantee they will try to charge us for.
Its well the staff is nice, and they work hard to get things do.
This is great place. I don’t have any issues
We lived there for one year, always paid rent on time, never created problems for the staff or owners. The actual year we spent was not terrible. Apartments are a little outdated but otherwise acceptable. At move in, the floors were still dirty from installing the linoleum but we didnt complain, just cleaned it up. The problems began at the time of lease termination: We gave 60+ days notice that we would not be renewing the lease. My family moved out of state and I stayed behind to finish the lease contract and so I could clean up on my way out. Before leaving I cleaned all rooms (swept, mopped, scrubbed walls, appliances, etc.). I even went as far as replacing the old 70s plastic (broken) closet knobs with ceramic ones. After spending a solid week cleaning I left and moved out of state. Three weeks later I received the balance of my security deposit after repairs; we had given $450.00 in security and received $29 and change back. I was told that I was being charged $93.00 for professional cleaning after I had professionally cleaned it myself. I was also told that I was being charged $200.00 to have the apartment completely repainted (for absolutely no reason, as I had taken over 20 pictures of the apartment the day I left. I requested specific reasons as to why I was being charged for a total repaint and havent heard back since. That was 4 months ago). To top it all off, the previous tenants left abruptly, which allowed management to keep their security as well. The bottom line is management took it upon themselves to steal whatever they could from honest tenants. Unless you like throwing money down the toilet, I wouldnt bother staying here, they are crooks.
Office staff are unprofessional and dont communicate with each other. They additionally close early without consideration of people driving down there to reach them before they close.
The rent keeps going up because Im on a month to month basis. It might be legal but it still sucks. I will be leaving here as soon as possible.
Very nice complex mike the manager is amazing everything done in a timely manner never been happier great place for kids too my son loves it here we are thankful
Terrible place to live! We have been here for 3 years, they never fix anything fully, completely over charge for what you get. We paid on time every time. Right when we put in the 60 day notice they raised the rent by $300. Horrible place if you want to advance in life. Dont do it! The ladys in there are rude and unhelpful.
This place sucks it took 4 weeks to get our sink repaired. They are money grabbers. Also I’ve lived here for 9 years and going on 10 on thanksgiving and it still sucks.
Yesenia was really helpful with my move in she helps us really fast and the move in waz just the next day that I took in my application shes the best on customer service thank u from brianda Jiménez apt 29
This place is so money hungry, they charged me 2,100 to just move in. and when my AC broke down the repair guy supposebly went to fix it when it broke down 1 hr later and had us with no AC for 2 days til they came to repair it. Also I left before my lease ended and they are charging me 5000. just bc I broke the lease.
I live here now, and this place is starting to seem like a joke. I cant baby-proof my apartment because the outlets are busted, NOTHING stays in them. I am the ONLY apartment in the entire compelx without a covered parking spot and am always told April will call you back, but never do I hear from April. I was also charged a concession charback as if I get reduced rent to begin with- WHICH I DO NOT. Get it together people.
