The worst application experience ever. I was denied for an apartment based off of an recent unpaid medical bill and then had to call THEM to be informed that I was denied. I immediately paid the medical bill and when I brought it up to them, citing their own application agreement that would re-approve me, they had already leased the apartment. This is after going in and having to basically beg information out of Leslie, the girl with her headphones in at the front desk, about the unit in the first place.

Consumer beware:This complex charges very high application fees for non existing apartments, while publishing fake positive reviews about themselves. Will rip you off for sure.

If I could leave no stars I would. These apartment complexes are over priced and old! If this wasn’t my only option I would’ve been somewhere else. Moved out and they’re trying to over charge me for a carpet replacement that had years of damage, urine and pet odor when I had no pets while staying here. All this place cares about is money. Word of advice, take pictures before you move out because they will try to charge you. They also have a roach problem. Stay away from this place!!!!

This place has really gone uphill in recent months. The new office staff is wonderful. Office is always open, and staff is so friendly. Amenities are always clean. I love having family over, showing the place off. I chose this place because it’s close to work and hang outs, but it’s become so much more than that. Awesome apartments

Was looking around and decided to check out these apartments. We were greeted as we walked in and Stephanie was very nice. We were given all the information we were looking for and all of our questions were answered. Stephanie gave us a tour of the community and pool area before showing us an apartment. Everything was nice and clean and very well kept. We have not made a decision yet about moving but these apartments are definitely on the top of our list.

Worst apartment I have lived in BY FAR!! This apartment has WAY too many rules and restrictions you can’t even live your life without being harassed and sent a note saying you’re going to be kicked out. On top of that I’ve had numerous guests being harassed by management all because they were walking through the parking lot! The roach level is WAY too high! If you want to live freely this is not the place to they have security looking for any little thing to kick someone out. We can’t play the game, can’t watch tv, can’t LIVE without being harassed. We’re paying nearly $1000 to be prisoners basically and the apartments aren’t even that nice considering things constantly break that I have yet to report. Not to mention we have no kids it’s just us and we’re always at work or school so it is VERY RARE that we make ANY NOISE. I’m really getting sick of it. If you work, go to college, or do both and want to have fun when you FINALLY get a chance please do not waste your money here. If I could give it a negative zero I absolutely would!

Management is extremely easy to work with, very polite and gets things done! The grounds are neat, the landscapers are here on a regular basis making sure things look nice. The pool guy is here nearly every day as well making sure the pool is gorgeous! I cant say enough good things about this place!

Ive lived here four years already.it has had its up and downs. I am so happy with the new manager and maintenance man. Clean and quiet place to live!

This place was wonderful, until management changed 5-6 months ago. Recently the owners seem to be cracking down and have become very controlling.For example, they have an online payment system where we used to be allowed to make payments at any time, which was nice for setting aside rent money when a paycheck came in. Now they ONLY allow payments to be made on the 1st through 3rd of each month, when rent is due. (Seriously) This is massively inconvenient.I feel bad for the new lady in the office. Shes been caught up in the crossfire between the owners and the last manager, Melissa, who was fantastic. Melissa was very human and made reasonable accommodations. Shed tell you no if there was nothing she could do, but she was also very accessible and did all within her power to help. The owners fired her because she wasnt strict enough for their tastes. The new lady seems terrified of doing things wrong so she enforces every contract phrase with an iron fist. (even silly things only designed to protect landlords from gross abuse of property by tenants).I try to avoid management now because theyre clearly not there to help. I loved it here when I first came, but since things have gotten crazy.... I wont be renewing.I dread moving out, too... I know Melissa would have helped me make reasonable repairs prior to leaving (like puttying holes). Management is only there to make a profit now, and Im terrified of being charged up the wazoo for any tiny thing that falls out of place.

I had to change my review for these apartments Ive been here for the past 5 years and at the beginning everything was great when manager Margaret was here she took care of everything nothing was out of order but now the apartments just seem to be an awful place to live in management doesnt really care about its tenants things never get fixed maintenance dont do anything about fixing our problems inside apartments and outside and the office doesnt really care about the problems That renters have people have more than one cover parking space even though our contract Says that we only get 1 covered parking space per apartment but yet people dont care and do whatever they want today my parking space was overtaken by someone so I couldnt park my car there I ask management to get it towed but was told that they cant do anything about it they had to give them 24 hours to move it so they left me to find a parking space somewhere else I just dont think its fair I pay for that cover Space with my apartment and now I dont have covered parking space at all security is never here we always have problems with homeless people walking around the property we just dont feel safe here cars have been broken into into and management doesnt do anything Disappointments to serve 0 stars if I could give no stars I wouldabout it its just the not real safe place to live in right now

1 star is way too good for this place! They lied multiple times about rent, had numerous issues with the apartment upon move in despite the fact that it was supposedly repaired the week before I moved in. Washing machine wouldnt work, mailbox key was wrong, door handle stuck, loose towel racks in the bathroom, white paint all over the black refrigerator, loose carpet in the living room, loose nails in the living room, no door stop on the bedroom closet door, carpet in the closet smelled of mildew. I mentioned all of these multiple times and the only one that got fixed was the washing machine, which busted last week and flooded the apartment while I was at work. Now the complex is fighting about cleanup, and forcing me to stay in a dirty disgusting apartment at alantra apartments. Please take my advice, AVOID CANDELA PARK APARTMENTS AT ALL COSTS!!!!!!!!!!!!! I would give anything to go back in time and not move in here, by far the worst decision of my entire life!!!!

Love the complex so quiet and peaceful and management and maintenance is wonderful always helping and respectful Margaret is a great manager and a hard worker shes always working to keep up with the demands of the residents thanks Margaret.

I was a resident for 2 years. The first year was great, the 2nd year not so much. Outstanding location and a 4 min. walk from the lightrail. Great for ASU student looking to get more room per sq ft. Its pretty safe, I never had a problem. You have a few hobos from the light rail but its bearable. Its a small place about 77 units so its pretty quite. Now the warning and the reason for the 1 star review. Management!!! One of the 1st times I meet the new mangt. she came back from break to get into the office and before she enter she threw a sprite bottle and her cigarette butt on the grass . This wasnt a glowing 1st impression. about the 1 year after I renewed my lease the made a change. The lady that took over started off slow and it only got worst. For the 1st 3 months she couldnt remember my name or apartment number, I was ask this same information 5 times in a month. Called me several times about an over due bill and cont. to give me noticed to pay this late fee. When I ask her to show what month I happen she couldnt provide the information. I was told to provide my rent receipts. It took almost 5 month for her company to finally remove the bogus late fees. At one point I ask her for her boss information and was told she is the boss. I talked with other people who live there and they had similar experiences. Another tip, pay your rent on line. I noticed a difference of 80 bucks cheaper than the price she told me on the new lease. Where that money goes I dont know. I got paper work about the new amount and when I paid it she told me that they didnt add taxes and I need to get another money order to pay the difference. Sadly it wasnt till my last 3 month when I got a new job that I discovered the savings. Also the less contact you have with her the better your quality of live will be if you choose to live there. I had only a few minor issues with the apartment. But when ask to get them fixed she never follow threw. Other people had worst problems with the same outcome. To cont. when I moved out I received little feedback on some issues that where presented. I was told if I have anything left in my deposit they would pay me I paid my rent a month early and wasnt living in the apartment the last 27 days. About a week from the end of my lease Margaret decided to change my locks to my home. It was after hours and I was only in town for a few hours. Three days after an email asking why this happen I finally got her on the phone after several failed attempts. I was told a shady excuse about someone knocking on my door. I had to pay a friend to come by and move the few items in my home. I received a report about some issues i needed to address, again when I emailed her she would go days with out responding if she responded at all. Lastly I was expecting my security deposit with in 14 days as AZ state law requires. Seven weeks went by, I emailed her checking on the status of my deposit. I was told that the mistake has to me my fault and she would check on it. Over another 2 weeks go by and I was never contacted with an update. It took me writing up a demand letter for her to finally respond. Only to say I will receive a check next day. Knowing they are in the wrong the double my deposit and gave me a letter from her lawyer to drop this matter or I will be fined legal fees. No reason why it took so long or a simple I am sorry. I discovered she failed to follow directions with the address I gave her to forward. I have lost time and money waiting on my deposit to move in to my new place. I tell anyone reading this to stand up and fight if you are done wrong. You have been warned. I am over 3 months removed from living at Candela and I still battle with the piss poor management.

Great apartment complex, friendly manager, maintenance get stuff done keep property clean.

Been calling to rent we have called for morning to night when office is to be open no one ever answered even went to the office and there is no one ever there horrible way to get a hold of someone even went online and left messages and nothing
