We have lived here for about 2 months now and have not really had the best experience. We love Eastmark and what it has to offer however, BB Living’s team has been less than impressive. We have had two problems now with our A/C unit this summer. The first issue happened about two weeks ago where the emergency maintenance guy was too lazy to come fix our unit on a Sunday evening so he gave us a quick fix. That quick fix resulted in a vent leaking water on our leather couch all night. It was fixed but the BB Living team has not responded to multiple emails and phone calls to help replace our couch. The AC company, and BB livings own maintenance worker, told us that this was an avoidable thing and that the fault was on the on all maintenance gentleman who gave us lazy and poor advice. We have still yet to hear from anyone on the matter after multiple attempts. The second issue came this weekend where our AC unit broke on Friday night. We were told that someone would come fix it on Saturday morning, no one showed. We were then told someone would be here from 2-5 on Sunday afternoon. After a call to the maintenance team from my wife, they didn’t even call us back, they just sent my wife a text message saying that someone came to fix it but they didn’t have a ladder tall enough. So now, we have to stay another night elsewhere because as most people know, it’s quite hot in Phoenix during August. No one has been there to answer a call or call us back. Just lazy text messages with no results and urgency to help their tenants out.I tried avoiding this route of posting a review but after this weekend I cannot recommend this place to anyone. Horrible customer service and frankly no one cares here at BB Living Eastmark about our place and fixing a problem for their tenants.
Luxury townhomes that are not so luxury. For the price you pay you would be better off renting a home from an individual. Below I have outlined some of the reasons for this assessment, and I give this place maybe two stars out of five.* pest control doesn’t help the cricket issue or ant issue (reported ant issue on front porch within first few weeks, still had an ant issue 3 months later, had them spray twice for crickets, there is still a cricket issue - the 4 months we lived there, we had pest problems)* Eastmark has a KNOWN rodent problem* Everyone has internet issues* Being so close to ray road its never quiet and often very loud* We hear every time any of the garage doors open in the row of townhomes (it shakes the whole place)* They use really cheap flat paint inside the apartment. Won’t stay nice for long, though it looks great at first glance* Cabinets are not real wood (for luxury apartments they are very cheap)* All appliances are super loud (dishwasher, washer and dryer)* Parking is awful - multiple tenants have 3-4 cars and take up all the extra parking for guest and such (it seems the non primary vehicle is kept in uncovered spaces which renders them unusable by guests since they rarely seem to move)* Can’t get to the mailboxes with your car (the solution to residents was to have your mail held at the post office)* Breakers consistently go out with no resolution to the issue (luckily the breaker box is in the garage, but unfortunate if the outage affects a refrigerator and you’re not home)* Consistently finding nails all around the townhome, assumingly due to all of the construction* We have had four different contact people within four months in the front office. Customer care is wildly inconsistent* When other residents started to realize all residents were having the same issues - the front office took it to where they had to approve any post on the neighborhood app. If you comment anything that might be a concern - front office is quick to try and normalize it.* Front office only addressed issues by blasting them on the app but struggled to deal with issues such as internet connection and breaker issues (in the four months, we lived there) also, the staff who “laid down the law” know one in the community ever heard of her before those post* App - For a platform for residents to use to engage back and forth, there has been an increase of admin focus agenda items and can appear to resistance as “unsafe” to post.* When waiting for my deposit back from mark Taylor - I receive a letter stating I owe them money for breaking my lease and not paying. This was not accurate- I actually paid it early and now have to wait even longer to get my money back.* And lastly,if you write the director or ask for a call from him, he just passes it on to his assistant - who seems to be very busy and can take some time to get back to you.And the reason I felt it was important to write this review, and what became apparent to me over time, is that customer care isn’t a priority for this business. They did not open this community well and will consistently blame poor customer care on it being a new community.
Love this place! Great location, spacious apartment and friendly office staff. Im not looking to move until late 2021 but I will definitely be renting here. Thanks for the help Joanna and Edsel.
Kudos to the owner of this community. I have to say I love both Val vista and Eastmark. The staff is friendly and the homes are beautiful. The fact that they are smart homes really sets the bar high while I am looking. Thank you for the great experience while touring.
My husband and I just moved in, and we love it here! No matter where you go youre going to have some bad and good reviews to read..you cant please everyone :) Our experience has been wonderful. Joanna has been the best and she answers all my questions, and always gets back to me so soon! We, of course saw some reviews about bad internet, however ours works great! No issues moving in and the staff here is absolutely amazing!!
Parking for guest is a problem. Seems people are not using their garages. We had new neighbors move in and they blocked our garage all day and acted like it was a problem to move the truck.
BB living eastmark is a wonderful looking property very nice spacious apartments. Not everybody can find a nice home from a private owner to rent. Most people have to rent luxury apartments such as this and these apartments deliver luxury.
Honestly, every single thing Christine posted is completely accurate. This place is FAR from “luxury living”. Us residents pay way too much money here to be dealing with these types of issues. Stay FAR FAR AWAY!
Christine is correct with all her notes and assessments. This place is not worth what you pay and management is terrible and unresponsive at best! If you plan to work from home or home school DO NOT MOVE HERE! Cox is the only provider they allow because Mark Taylor corporate gets a huge kick back as a company for offering Cox’s service exclusively. I’ve been here 8 months fighting no internet because of a bad installation. Now I have a $238 bill for a tech to come out to correct Cox original install mistakes and was told in August the repair plus my bill would be credited. It’s October and I’m still texting the Cox Mark Taylor account manager weekly with no fix! On top of all of it my internet still sucks!! I can’t wait to move!!!
