I go to one of the males there, cant remember the name but hes really good, very friendly.

I went today and got a simple pedicure and manicure. Its looks like my daughter did it a week ago. The woman doing it was obviously having a bad day and in a rush. I spent $72 and will never again.

Because of a knee injury, Im unable to trim my toe nails myself, so I go to Liz Nails. No complaints, in fact... great customer service, very sanitary facility, especially having Covid-19 Precautions in place.

Had an appointment that was made a week and a half ahead of time. Was taken to a chair right away. The man proceeded to use a drill to take off my gel polish and then said Ill be right back I have to go get my kids and left. I sat for another 20 minutes and got up to leave. I offered to pay for what he did and the woman tried to convince me to stay and wait. I can appreciate having responsibilities however, one simply does not book appointments or walk out in the middle of one to pick up children. Extremely rude and utterly unprofessional. I will spend my money where my business is valued and my time is respected.

I absolutely love this place. Just moved here and wasn’t sure where to go. This place happened to have openings and I have no complaints about them. Very nice, very clean, very very good job on my gel acrylics and my pedicure.

Gel nails hold up so well! Ive gone to other places where the gels peeled off in about a week. Also, so nice here. Some of them call everybody Honey. :) I have my favorites, of course, but anybody does a good job. Ive only had one experience that I wasnt thrilled with, and that nail tech was gone already by the next time I went back, a testament to their expectations of staff. Most important, my nails look good, prices are fair and its a pleasant experience.

Very busy salon so unless you have a lot of time on your hands I highly recommend making an appointment. I get the gel nail polish and there are only two nail technicians that does the gel polish. Thats one of the reasons Im giving them only three stars. Joanna has done my pedicures before and she, after my first appointment, has remembered my name ever since. Highly recommend going to her for pedicures. She is amazing at her job. The salon is clean although I feel as though as far as gel polish goes the selection is not that big. Especially if you are into the cat eye polish. The other reason for giving this salon only three stars is because even with an appointment I have waited 45 minutes before. Another reason for only giving the salon three stars is because both male technicians who have done are not very friendly and both at times have come off somewhat rude. But I will add that as far as the quality of their work goes Ive always been beyond pleased with how my nails looked and how well they held up. They are good at their job.

Waiting an hour when you made an appointment is not very nice but they do a fine job.

If I could give negative stars I would. My first time going and they were very under staffed. This caused slow service, meaning a 30 minute wait time (my wait time, others waited longer). I called before arrival asking if they could do colored acrylic and they said yes. Once I got there no one had any idea what I was talking about. Then the personnel rushed me and made my nails super thin, so I had to ask if they could redo them for me and add more acrylic which of course I was charged extra . Then Once I get them painted somebody else had to attend to me. Now you have a different person trying to paint my nails, but they got Impatient with me which I wasn’t even asking for anything then they got another person to help me and paint my nails. On TOP of that, I got a NAIL FUNGAL INFECTION. Which I didn’t get from the shop prior to them cause I always check my nails. It just so happens that I now have three nails with the fungus after this shop doing them. Please beware and understand they have no patience and obviously don’t sterilize their items.

I’ve worked customer service so part of me feels bad for giving them a poor review because I know places get busy. At the same time, I made an appointment for 4 o’clock. I arrived just before 4 and had to wait until 4:20 for anyone to even acknowledge me. It then took another 20 minutes for them to actually start my manicure. Overall, I spent an hour and ten minutes in there for just a simple gel manicure. And I was disappointed that the girl didn’t do anything with my cuticles, just simply painted my nails. The price is decent but there’s better service out there for sure.

Went in for manicure three days before wedding. I had regular polish as my nails do not do well with gels. Not even 24 hours later polish was off of three nails. I called to see if they would fix it They said no

This was the worse nail salon experience I ever had. The man that did my nails was extremely rude, I changed my color after one finger nail and he got upset to the point he got up and started to do a womans feet while I sat there waited.. he never washed his hands nor did he use sanitizer. What was the most upsetting part was I requested rhinestones and he told me I couldnt get any because they got busy but yet my step daughter got rhinestone on each finger of hers.. coming from out of town or not. When a customer wants something they should be able to get what they want regardless how busy they get....

I love this place. The work is by far the best Ive gotten throughout the Toledo Area.My polish stays looking like I just had it done until my next pedicure. My gel nails are the best. Staff is very friendly and welcome you with a hello upon arriving. Only down side is since they are so good expect a wait when you go, but it is worth it

This is the only nail salon I will go to! Staff is always super friendly, polish stays on forever, doesn’t chip or break, very reasonably priced and overall great atmosphere! Been going here for 4 years now and no other salon has come close to the quality you get at Liz.

I Just love liz nail spa! I would recommend everyone to check it out. People are always commenting on how good my nails look. All staff is so friendly and nice. Joann always does an awesome job on my nails. From time to time you might have to wait but its because they all do a wonderful job and people know it.

I walked in and wrote my name on the sign in list. No one greeted me, but I figured since there was only one other woman in the waiting area, it wouldn’t be too long. I sat for a half an hour before someone asked me if I had an appointment. I replied “no, but I signed in” she then told me there was only one person there that could do the service I wanted, which was an acrylic fill and gel polish (nothing crazy for a nail spa) and he had yet another appointment before he could get to me. I understand I did not have an appointment, but you cannot let someone sit in your waiting area for a half hour before letting them know of the situation. It’s just bad customer service.

I made an appointment yesterday the lady said they could get me in right at 9:30 and the place doesn’t open until 10 and when I got there all the workers were busy working on somebody and treated me like I was a walk in and I had to wait when I made an appointment for 9:30 exactly. And then one of the ladies working there came up to me and seemed upset and said they were fully booked that morning and I needed to wait even though she told me the day before they could take me at 9:30. So I was already frustrated for not having my scheduled time and then a women walks in later and they said hi and we’re extra friendly to her and started on her shortly after. Mind you nobody there said hi to me or acknowledged I was there when I got there and I use to be a regular. I only went because I had a gift card but I will not go back. Unless you have 3 hours to waste there I don’t recommend it at all.

I came in around 1:35 and sat for over an hour. They took appointments ahead of me which was fine because i was just a walk-in, they didn’t even acknowledge me when I came in. I’ve given this place multiple chances but I can’t sit here all day just to get my nails done.

So I went in today to get a balance. I made an appointment for 3 and arrived 30 minutes early. I waited until 4:15 to have them call me up to get my nails done. Then, as the guy was doing my nails he left and started doing two other womens nails. I was there for way too long. In the end, I didnt wait to have them dry; I simply paid and left. It was a waste of my time. I considered to just walk out, but I didnt have the guts to be rude. I do not recommend this place!

I walked in for a balance and pedicure around 215 and someone told me sign in and wash my hands they’d be right with me I waited there for 45 minutes and no one ever help me a hour laterer she came up to me and said I don’t think will get to you Today by this time it was around 330 she said I don’t think we’re gonna be able to get to you After 4 people came right in an was seated after I Waisted a over a hour waiting horrible service and prejudice!!!

Every time I come here I have to wait at least an hour to even be seated by one of the nail people. ALSO they always seat people that came in after me when i know they didn’t have an appointment. such a disappointment smh

So beyond dissapointed in this salon. Do they do a nice job with my nails? Absolutely. However, I dont understand what the point of making an appointment is if they dont even acknowledge you until 30-40 mins after your appointment time.I am not typically one to leave bad reviews, nor am I a particularly impatient person, however, this has happened to me the last 6+ times Ive come here so at this point, I am calling it quits and never returning - I encourage you to avoid this place at all costs unless you have no problem spending 3+ hours getting a simple pedicure.

My nails look great but this rating primarily is for their outstanding service. I work 2 jobs and have a very limited amount of time for treats like getting my nails done. I found myself with an extra hour and took a chance that they would be able to serve me very close to closing time. Im leaving for a business trip tomorrow and was desperate! Peter took me without hesitation, was so kind and never once acted rushed or annoyed. He gave me exactly what I asked for an even stayed a little late. I felt so welcome and cared for! To him I may have been just one more client but it truly made my day. I will be back!

I gave Liz Nails 4/5 because I had to wait to get my nails done even though I had a appointment, but other wise I really like how my nails turned out.

I have been a reoccurring customer for around 2 years not and every visit is as quality as the last (high quality). As a customer who scheduled an appointment every 2-3 weeks, i have never seen any disrespect from any of the employees. I do highly suggest to schedule appointments because it is a busy nail salon and walk ins get swamped in with the appointments.

Lets just say it was not a good experience. I felt really rushed and the communication was not good. The man who did my nails kept getting up and answering the phone, checking on other customers, etc. Several times he spoke in another language using a muffled voice and I wasnt sure if he was talking to me or the other nail technician. He didnt trim my cuticles, use lotion, anything. Just put on gel polish. Apparently, you need to ask for a gel manicure if you want anything other than gels, but I didnt know this because he just rushed me in and didnt talk to me. Customer service is such a huge deal to me. I try to treat everyone I meet with respect, and I didnt feel I was treated with respect in return. Sorry, Liz, but you just lost a great tipping customer.

They always do a good job and my nails havent fallen off like they do at other places

We called ahead to see if they were accepting walk ins and they said they were. When we got there they said it would be 15-20 minutes. However we waited over an hour and still didn’t have anyone working on our nails. Every 15 minutes, the guy kept coming around to say someone would be “right with us”. If they didn’t have time, that would have been fine, but it was very rude that they kept us waiting and thinking they would be right there.

Worst pedicure and manicure I have ever had. It looks like a 10 year old painted my nails. Pedi lasted all of 12 minutes from start to finish. The guy was very rough...made my toenail bleed and shoved my feet back into the water instead of gently tapping them like most places. Will not be back.

Horrible service. I was a walk-in and anticipated on waiting a little longer, but not over two hours. I was told 20 more minutes which turned into 10 more minutes etc.. I said how about no more minutes. The professional thing to have done on her part was to inform me from the beginning that it was going to be a few hours and allow me to decide if I wanted to wait that long. Very disappointed. I will not be returning.

I made an appointment at 3pm but didnt get seated until 3:45. In the meantime other people were walking in and getting helped. Then, when my nails were being done the male nail tech was acting annoyed at me as if I was being an inconvenience. I really enjoyed my first time here, but this second time has me looking for somewhere else.

Wow. What horrendous service. Made an appointment for my bridal party and they took us 45 minutes late - making us late for our rehearsal. So they had to rush through the mani and pedi and just did a mediocre job, no care or attention at all. A relaxing manicure was more of a paint job. All of my bridesmaids were left unhappy. And then completely rude when we addressed the service issues. Never coming here again. Wish I could give no stars.

If i could write a negative review i would. this is not my first time here. i used to come in for a regular gel manicure after school about 3 years ago. i went in for the first time since and it was the worst experience i’ve ever had ANYWHERE. i made an appt for 2:15. i didn’t get to a chair until 2:35 because they took walk ins before me. at 2:30 one of the women owners asked what i came in for and i said “i had a 2:15 appointment for...” SHE CUT ME OFF AND ASKED AGAIN “what did you come in for”. my next words would’ve answered her question but she had to be so rude and cut me off. i said “a mani pedi”. which was already written on the check in sheet if she would’ve taken the 3 seconds to check. when they did finally sit me down, the same owner lady who was so rude, rushed the entire thing. she didn’t push back my cuticles or even put the cuticle lotion on and she did the scrub thing for a solid 5 seconds on each foot. meanwhile, there was another woman getting a pedicure done by a cute young girl who was doing an amazing job. then she switched me off to her husband to paint them. WHICH WAS A TERRIBLE JOB. i sat down in the chair at 2:35. they completely finished at 2:44. i then went to the same mans chair to get an acrylic full set manicure. he was so scattered and all over the place. he was also doing a pedicure at the same time. he asked how i wanted my nails shaped. i said coffin and he agreed. during the process, he cut every single one of my fingers with the drill. it was so much more painful than relaxing as it should be. the nails are so thick and chunky and not at ALL the shape i asked for and he said he could do. nonetheless i will never return or recommend this terrible establishment to anyone i know. it was a waste of $60.

I made an appointment here for 1:30 pm. Upon arrival, I was entirely ignored for fifteen minutes. I finally told them I was here for my appointment. They took my friend and I back, and say us in pedicure chairs, and then entirely ignored us for a whole hour. Didnt start service until 2:45 an hour and fifteen minutes after our appointments were scheduled for.

I called 3 weeks ago and was told they no longer accept appointments and do strictly walk-ins now. My friend also called 3 days ago and was told the same thing. Now we are in the salon- waiting to have our nails done- as we expected, since we were told only walk-ins now, it has been over an hour now and 9 ladies have come in and gotten their nails done ahead of us because they had appointments?!?!?!?!?! NINE!I will not be back and do not recommend.

Well..... not so much! my nails look like duck nails Romans work was off. Im not saying i wouldnt go back, i just would not go back to him. I like my toes he could have done a better job on my gel nail fullset,i didnt understand why he caked the gel polish on 3/4xs not satisfied and i paid a nice amount plus tip... but anywho we live and learn🤔😒😔

Absolutely horrible service. Made appointment for a pedi for 5:15 and sat and waited until 6:20. Then was sat in the chair with Luke warm water for 20 minutes while the nail techs worked on other people. Will never come back.
