I’ve been going here for a little bit normally they do a phenomenal job. I scheduled an appointment and asked if the first picture could be done and they said yes. The third one is how they turned out. I honestly don’t mind if they can’t do something but I wish nail techs were more honest because my nails were smudged and ruined. I went back later to see if they’d fix them the receptionist was saying on the one could be fixed but the guy I had jumped in and was happy to fix them. I just asked him to make the black ones all white and just go for a unique mani white mix. I’m very unhappy they couldn’t communicate their abilities or just work with me to get a do able product and one that is worth my money. But I do appreciate that he stepped in and fixed them I just wish they would’ve let me make them all white because they all were botched a bit. As much as I liked this place I might look for somewhere else but moral of the story is nail techs need to be more honest with their mistakes or abilities and clients need to be kinder to the salon and maybe they’d be willing to help you out
I feel as though this place does mediocre work and over charge it’s customers just because of their location. I got a medium/short acrylic set with a very simple design and was charged $80. The nails I really wanted had rhinestones on them but the man said that he was going to charge me extra on top of the $80 because rhinestones take time to put on. I get that, but the design I wanted was not that hard for him to be charging extra for rhinestones now. There are so many talented people in Cleveland who would give you a way better design with rhinestones for a cheaper amount. You should probably jus save your money & go somewhere else. The pedicures though are pretty decent though.
Very fast, friendly, and professional. The salon itself is gorgeous.Theyre only accepting walk-in appointments as of right now. 100% recommended.
Got my girlfriend an appointment here for her birthday since we don’t have a lot of money normally. She likes to feel pretty and and we were so excited to get her nails done. And this is without exaggeration the worst place to go. The staff were so rude and they were commenting on my girlfriends appearance through whispers. I don’t have a description of these employees because I was working and she was going to meet me after for dinner. She showed up holding back tears and our entire night was ruined. I don’t know who treated her this way, but I hope they receive some karma down the road. We will not be returning.
The tall young Asian girl that is a receptionist is just borderline rude. She has no sense of being courteous or kind. She picks up the phone just saying hello in an emotionless voice every time and nothing else. Ive been to this place countless times (its location is convenient) but every time she has this bad attitude as if you did something wrong. Last time I went in, they overcharged me and the receptionist made me feel like it was my fault. Everyone else working there also seems upset like they just dont want to be there. The customer service is just not good, specifically that tall girl. She needs to be fired.
Went in for a full set, and pedicure. I told the lady it was not what I wanted and needed them shorter. I went back next day for correction and was refused one. When I spoke to manager she told me it was a miscommunication and refused to listen to what I was being told. I asked for a refund on full set since I had to go to another salon and pay for fix. They refused all of any partial refund. Do not use this place. Jonathan Koi nail spa fixed the mistakes. I would recommend anyone looking for service use koi nail salon instead
Nice & clean, not much space for customers to sit and wait for service. Chairs are not that comfortable in the waiting area. I had gel polish on my nails, nail tech was older woman and she was very pleasant. Staff is nice & helpful.
Horrible policy on appointments -changes policy from week to week. Now you cannot schedule an appointment unless you bring 2 others in with you. Can walk in and sit around for 2 or more hours and get service at their convenience. Not sure what customer service business model this is, except one for failure.Update: was able to make an appointment at Johnathan Koi Salon - Great service. Will be going there from now on.Maybe you might want to better train the people answering your phone, I was declined an appointment for a Wednesday unless I brought you two other customers. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL of you and your staff. Found a new place and wont be back.
I have been coming to prive for about 3 years now and Dan is really great! I’m very picky and Dan always makes sure I leave with my nails done exactly how I like them. I’ve seen a lot of bad reviews but honestly you just need to find the right person. They are very clean and their products are not cheap! I use to live in Michigan and only went to the same place/nail tech for almost 10 years and now since I moved here I found Dan and prive nail salon and I’m very happy! Just make sure to make a appointment cause they get busy.
I came in for a bridal party appointment last weekend. The ladies in this salon were BEYOND rude and unprofessional. They ruined my 7 year old nieces nails the day before she was in a wedding and were anything but kind and professional. I called Saturday evening after our appointment to have it corrected and was told the manager would call me back that night. She didn’t. I called again today and the manger was rude, disrespectful, unprofessional, unapologetic and refused to refund me when I wasted money on countless manis and pedis that had to be taken off and redone for the wedding. I am absolutely disgusted at the poor customer service and the inability for them to own up to their mistake and fix this rather than take peoples money for a service not properly provided. They offered to redo the nails, but we are not comfortable going back in there with how poorly we were treated. They’ve officially lost my business. After posting about this, I’ve heard countless stories of how awful they are from friends. Save yourself the trouble and go somewhere else.
Too overpriced for the type of service they do. They charged me $58.99 for just a fill in and gel polish
I went onfor the first time as a business owner myself and the place was very clean and precautions were great. I must say I had a great experience with the lady who did my nails. She took her time was kind and asked me if I was happy. I also got a 33 dollar pedicure to try before getting a more expensive one in 2 weeks. I was not pleased. She was very rough. Didnt acknowledge me. The water was so hot it burned my foot when I first went dip it in. Some ran cold water on top of my feet letting the water cool down. My calf and foot massage was 4 minutes total . I asked if there was a manager to talk to about services and was told not today!
Never leave reviews but i’m so frustrated. I spent $55 (before tip) on dip powder with tips, that normally last me 3 weeks when i go to my normal salon. I’m in cleveland and Zen nails was busy so I decided to give it a try here. Hasn’t even been a week and one already came off.
Went in with my best friend at 1:30 on a Saturday expecting a wait for manicures and pedicures. We were told an hour, so we went and grabbed lunch. Finally at 3:45 they said they were ready for us. We went back for pedicures, my friends got started, and was finished before anyone even came over to me. I ended up putting my shoes back on and leaving, because by 4:15 no one still got to me. Completely unprofessional. I also work at a salon and when I tell my clients how long of a wait it will be, I dont lie by HOURS. Completely unimpressed
I used to love this place, but in the last 6 months it has completely fallen apart. I have now had 4 bad experiences in a row and will never take my money there again. Honestly, I’ve never written a bad review about anyone so it goes to show how bad my experience has been.1. One of their nail techs used a bristle brush on my dip nails. It left lines in my nails even after the final top coat was applied. I wasn’t super mad but definitely annoyed and scheduled my next appt earlier than normal to get them changed.2. I had an appt and a lady started my nails and half way through after an hour of sitting there and multiple attempts and trying to file the dip properly and drilling through it multiple times, she finally told me that she didn’t feel comfortable doing nails and I had to switch techs and start from scratch. They got me through pretty quickly after that but I was still forced to pay for all of my troubles by their rather rude blonde/light brown hair tall receptionist even after the lady who did my nails said I didn’t have to pay.3. I called and asked for an appt and they said they reduced all of their appts half during the week and no weekend appts. Would have been nice to have a heads up that this was coming.4. I scheduled on their online portal with a specific person. Had the email to prove it to them. They said they put me with first come first serve, but the girl I received could not perform the service I had requested. All in all, don’t waste your time or your money. I literally just wanted to essentially give them my money to do my nails. I didn’t even really care how much they charged, but I will never go back. Such a pathetic attempt of a business.
They did an amazing job on envisioning what I wanted the times I came in! My wedding nails were done absolutely amazing with a great eye. My stylist made suggests for my nails based on the shape and size of my hands to where they would look amazing in pictures! They do care about what kind of lifestyle you lead and suggest nails that fit that lifestyle. As far as COVID, they check temperatures and require you to wash your hands immediately upon entering. They have strict guidelines and following the statewide mask mandate!
I came in an was told it would be a 2 hour wait . I came back for an appointment in 2 hours and was told it would be 20 more mins . I sit there for another hour . When I asked how much longer I was told it would be another 30 mins . So my appointment in 2 hours was not even started in 3:1/2 hours . I was leaving town for vacation that evening with a babysitter I had paid for ….for 3 1/2 hours and finally left . As I waited in the lobby for that 1 1/2 additional hour … I hear people asking if they can add on a pedi !!!! Terrible customer service . People waiting for their appointment and letting others add on to their appointments that they had not scheduled.
I had a great experience here! Go see Jessica for a fill for acrylic, she does a great job. This place is friendly and clean. Even though I had a long wait, I spent time shopping and they called me when it was my time. Everyone is very welcoming and she knew what to do right when I told her what I had wanted done. Will be going back no doubt.
Really happy with the service and quality of work. Definitely coming back!!
I have been going to Prive for 8 years & always have the most amazing services! Consistently wonderful service & beautiful work. I would never go anywhere else. Vanna has been doing my dip nails for a year now and she is the best!! Attention to detail, they always look perfect! She is so sweet & nice I love seeing her every 2 weeks💞🌟
Extremely unprofessional, poor customer service!! The worst service we’ve ever had!!!!
Came here a couple days ago to get a full set of acrylics they came out looking amazing! My nail tech was very friendly and did a great job. The receptionist with long blonde hair was very sweet and helped me pick out a color.
I went in, but I called first! and wanted to make an appointment, but was told they were already booked for the day and that I could do a walk in lady also said they were not busy, I got there and it was packed! I waited was told it would only be around a hour. It ended up being much much longer. I was very unhappy with the technician Claudia older lady with glasses she was very mean and used excessive amounts of the purple liquid that is used with the Acrylic powder! it hasnt even been a week and it seems they are melting away or something.I asked for french nails with white tip, and I wanted reddish pink base coat she claimed she did not know what I was referring to so I had to get up and speak with the receptionist, because it was told to them what I wanted. And she said they have it and could do it!They were huddled 3 of them to figure that out which I thought was strange? Any way she was very withholding with the polish it was dull and not reddish pink as any other professional french manicure looks! the tips were too thick and guacky.I hated it, she did ask after the first one was it too thick even after I told her, yes and kept reminding her she continued to make them that way. she was putting too much pressure on the motor buffer was hurting. she kept wanting me to prop my hand up on a nail box, I mean it was a very unpleasant experience to say the least! It seems she didnt have much experience I dont know I will not be going back! My nails was for my birthday coming up and this is NOT! what a French Manicure looks like, one would think that a place like theirs would know how, I think it was just her Claudia has given you a bad reputation not good! I paid for a service that I did not get!🌟🌟🌟🌟Hey guys, Here is the update! For Prive Nail Spa, they replied to my review...I was pleasantly surprised! they offered to fix the issue. I had Hong as my tech and although I decided not to get the French-Manicure done over, she offered a color instead.I am pleased and Hong, (Management) Her energy was totally different and professional than the lady I had before and the do-over didnt cost me a dime. 😁So thats awesome! I went right in the next day after speaking with them over the phone. And was there as soon as they opened the door in the a.m.I was waited on immediately! And she was finished in less than an hour! And on second thought I will be going back! and she said I could ask for her at my request. {Been back! Already}🌼Thank You Prive Nail Spa Owner for noticing that I was UN-happy and you offered to fix it! And still in time before my birthday 🎂🎉🍹 today! Wow! This is how you do business. As a side note get it right the first time IJS...Pun intended ☮🕊✌🏾Much Appreciated! See you all next time! Min Setep....P.S. I been posted this under my other Gmail account and didnt realize it!We all goof dont we lol! 😅
The salon is awesome very nice and clean! Victoria does a phenomenal job on mani & pedi!!!
Great staff and service I will definitely be going back.
Victoria makes every visit a great one, of course!
I called this morning and asked for an appointment. She told me to come before 5:30 and that they dont take appointments. I get there at 5:08 and got turned away. Bad business practice. Not even going to try going back.
My friend and I got there and had to wait an hour and a half and then we went back and had to sit and wait another hour and a half. Then once it was our turn, some girl went and complained that it was her turn and they took her instead of us. Then we got sick of waiting so we left.
This place was very nice. The young vietnamese boy that was the receptionist was very kind and good at folding towels. They got me looking real dapper for the Pringles convention I was going to.
Thank you Lydia for a great pedi!
Pricey and not great service. Went with a bridal party. They split us up all over the salon and took forever to complete everyone. Most of the us were not impressed with our nails and the bride was especially disappointed. They did not go out of their way with customer service at all. My nails took forever and were still not done as well as my usual salon
If you expect longer than a 2 minute massage during your pedicure, this is not the place for you. I have had good luck here but my mom has gotten the same spastic lady twice now, who rushes and does the sloppiest job. Not worth the money for a sloppy massage and paint job.
Great set! I got a Mani-pedi and it was super relaxing
Wow! This salon is beautiful!!! Marble literally everywhere! I highly recommend having Tien.. she is amazing!
Had such a wonderful time relaxing and getting pampered. The receptionist and manager took the time to help me decide on colors and Sam was fantastic! She took the time to help me decide what would be the healthiest option for my nails(I have thin nails). Great customer service! Looking forward to getting spoiled again soon 😊
My friends and I went today and when we walked in we asked how much it was for acrylics. The receptionist said it was 35 dollars and it would be a 1/2 hour wait. After an hour and 15 minutes we were finally called. I was never asked what kind of polish I wanted just what color. To my surprise when I went to pay they said it was 55 dollar because they used gel. My nails look good but I would have not gotten them done if I knew it would cost that much. My friend got regular gel with no acrylis and they charged her the same amount as myself. Needles to say we will not be going back anytime soon.
If you go ask for a younger girl!!! The guy that did my nails was way to rough. He told me that it would be another $5 for coffin and I thought that was fine but instead I got square nails. Again fine I’ll go home and reshape them. Also the lady that was doing my friends nails looked at me like I’m crazy for having blue hair and asked my friend “who would ever want that.” I say to ask for a young girl because there was a girl at the station next to me that was so nice and that is also why I am giving this a 3 and not a 1.
Had an appointment for 2 nail treatments at 1p.. my grandaughter wasnt started for 25 minutes later.. i was not happy about that when we had appointments.
I’ve tried the place many times but I just am giving up at this point. Asked for matte black nails, got glossy instead. Every time I’ve gone for the dip, they chip way too quickly (aka before 2 weeks), whereas other places they stay on for a month. It’s been 10 days and already chipping. Called and they won’t fix their own mistake for free. Giving 2 stars because the prices are good, but I’d much rather pay a little more somewhere else with much better quality.
They are pricey they dont let you book online which is a bum for me when you do call to make an appointment they told me that seven was their latest they called me the next day told me that five was their latest and then when I went the last time they said seven was their latest. They didnt seem to really care about what I would consider quality so they put the powder dip on but they never filed it afterwards so I have like loops and edges sticking out
My new favorite nail spa! Was greeted by friendly staff and got an appointment right away. The decor and environment was beautiful and relaxing. The pedicure was amazing! I will definitely go back!
Never had an issue before until today. Was told the wait would be like 20-30 minutes. It was about 45 minutes later and another lady way after me and only had to wait 15 minutes for her to get called back, that I decided to leave. I was tired of the excuses. Not happy at all, being that it was my second time there today, do to them being busy and I had things going on. I understand being busy, but maybe give customers accurate info on estimated times and if techs only do certain things, to avoid angry customers. Being a business owner I would not be happy if my business was being run like this.
I just tried to call the place and it was just straight to voicemail. its very unprofessional it is open. they should have a phone to actually call not a voice box.
Horrible service. I asked for a gel polish which is $24 only and I hadn’t had my nails done before so I had no clue the woman was giving me a full manicure when I went to check out it was double the price I asked for. I said I only asked for the polish which I even wrote down and she SAW she then argued with me when I said this was my first time getting my nails done and told me I was suppose to know this? I said well I didn’t know and it’s not what I asked for and she forced me to pay for something I did not ask for. She also did s horrible job on my nails. I have heard nothing but bad things about this place and decided to go because it was closest to me. I highly suggest never going and I won’t be returning. She also had the audacity to ask for a tip.
Thank you Jessica for my wonderful experience!! I made an appointment, the staff was friendly greeted me as I entered and exited. Great selection of polish. Decor was relaxing. Environment was professional. Jessica did an excellent job on my arcylics making sure they were done correctly and to my liking. She didnt rush and made me feel right at home with her friendly demeanor and small talk. I definitely will be returning to this location and to Jessica. Shes a wonderful employee definitely make an appointment with her!! Thanks again Jessica!!
If zero stars was an option this would be it. They told someone I know that she could get a certain pair of nails at 30$, but ended up doing completely different nails and made her pay 60$ in the end. Also her nails were very lumpy. Avoid at all costs.
Called to ask for a price before I came to the salon for a service. The receptionist answered the phone like she was at home.... hello, when I asked is this Prive nail salon, she responded yes never corrected her greeting as if it made sense for her to answer the phone like it was her private line. She then placed me on hold and never came back to the phone. I called back, and someone picked up the phone and hung it up. Unbelievable!
Have been thinking here several years. Be prepared to wait and its definitely worth the wait because they are all great here! Top notch quality
Took three other people with me. Place was not busy so we didnt wait long. The reception was a little snotty at the beginning about taking care of the people that have appointments first. Its pretty obvious that appointments get taken care of first. The pedicure workers were very nice and did a good job. The workers wore gloves which is nice. Ive been to places the workers dont. I have a feeling we would have been waiting if the place was a little more busy. They didnt have enough people working if the place was packed. They should make reservations mandatory for 3 or more people.
I had never been one to get my nails done frequently, but when working in a professional setting I found it necessary to start doing on a regular basis to ensure my nails and cuticles look nice while in meetings, at events, etc.I can not say enough great things about Prive. I have been going there for over a year and a half now ever 2-3 weeks. Not only is the staff great (especially Hanh and Megan), but my manicures and pedicures are always top quality and last well beyond 3 weeks if I let them. The atmosphere is welcoming, relaxing and most importantly, clean. I would 100% recommend Prive Nail Spa (and already have) to my friends in the Toledo area. On top of the great customer service and professionalism, the pricing is most definitely reasonable for the services provided.
The place is very classy and clean. My 12 yr old daughter and niece did get nice manicures at a decent price. I, on the other hand, not so much. My appointment was for a full set of acrylic nails. The woman was very nice but slow. The length and shape of my nails are not at all what I wanted. I did have her reshape them but still were too wide and not the shape i asked for. (Oval) They are way too short and wide looking but I was ready to leave because she took too long. Again she was nice and I wouldnt be rude but I will not return for a fill. 4 days and one of my nails broke already. Would recommend for pedicures or manicures just not acrylics. Sorry not mad just disappointed.
They charge you for services you didn’t get. I got two hard gel balances two weeks apart and was charged $47 the first time and $58 the second time. When I told him that couldn’t be right, he told me that he “forgot to charge me” the last time for a “shape change” when nothing was changed on my nails except the color. I even asked him not to take length off. I used to like it here but I will never come back.
Completely disappointed, I usually have my nails done by Tracy, the manager, which end up very well. This time I went I was referred to another tech because Tracy was busy in the back. I felt as a manager she should have at least came out and addressed me. Instead the girl at the counter handled it. She was rude. The customer service here is very poor and the staff never try to fix a mess-up with out charging. It should be the salons pride in their company to right a wrong. I did gel polish. My nail polish cracked and peeled in 3 days. The polish was so thin you could see through it, and it was a dark brown. Not even worth going back, felt like I was just given to any tech. And they clearly do not have great experience.
The wait is almost neverending, even when they say it isnt long on the phone. I waited over an hour after being told only 20-30 minutes. Best part about my visit was when Brittany did my pedicure. I was 39 weeks pregnant and needed to relax, she definitely helped me out! Thank you for that!
This will be my last time here. Ive been here more than 10x. They have other talents outside of customer service... If you dont mind the rudeness etc- its totally fine! But for the same price you can get amazing service else where!
I started to go to the salon I love the way Dan does my nails but the prices have gone up at least $10 for my service that I want and I think thats ridiculous they say its for the offset of supplies so I will find my services and another salon.
The place is beautiful, but the service isn’t the best. They kind of blew me off when i put my name on the list and completely ignored me. I went up to the counter to ask a question and had to wait 5 minutes just for them to quick talking to each other before acknowledging me. When I finally was able to get my nails done the service was okay. I thought she did a decent job, I got a simple gel set with a accent nail. My friend was at the spa across the street and when my nails were done, and her spa appointment was done we switched spots. I was charged 38 for the gel but the girl behind the counter was taking an absurd amount of time getting my change and my spa appointment had already started so I just left the 12$ as a tip. Once my friend and I were finished we went to my car and was talking about the massage and our nails and things didn’t add up. We both got the same exact things done to our nails, my friend was talking to the person behind the counter and they were being really nice and welcome to her, when she tells me they offered her water, never did for me, and charged her only 20. Why was my 18 more? For the same exact thing. She didn’t have a coupon or anything just paid full price. I got this done Tuesday. It’s sunday and two of them are already chipped. I got gel so they wouldn’t chip, and I’m a waitress. Nothing strenuous in my job so I shouldn’t have chips this fast. Will not be going back or recommending this place. The girl at the massage parlor also told us she had a bad experience there as well
Came here with two friends and they both had a good experience but the lady I had was not friendly. I made her aware this was the first time I had ever done the dip polish manicure service and she repeatedly acted annoyed with me when I didnt hear/understand her instructions because of how quiet she spoke. She kept tapping my hands and nagging me about being tense. She was so rough with the electric buffer gun that she made 4 of my cuticles bleed which then caused extreme burning when she applied the alcohol spray and polish. It is now the next day and the skin around my cuticles is puffy and still burning even when I just rinse my hands with water. And to top off the bad experience she didnt even change the towel between me and the next woman she did a service for, gross. The only reason I even gave 2 stars is because the polish looks decent with the exception of a rough spot on my ring finger nail and because my two friends didnt have an issue with their nail artists. Definitely will not be visiting this business again.
If I could give less than 1 star I would. Ive never had a problem with their services and I dont get my nails done very often. But every time I come in the customer service is HORRIBLE. They dont take appointments on the weekend because it doesnt work for them. Literal words spoken to me. Dont you provide a service? Shouldnt you provide that service in a way that works for your customers? If you have all the time in the world I would suggest this place. But if you value your time go some place else.
Will not go back! Felt rushed, the two gentleman didnt speak hardly at all. We went on a Wednesday my friends nails wouldnt dry even after two hours, my French tip peeled away on Friday two days after. I feel like the Polish may be old or cheap.
Paid a whole lot of money for a gel manicure that peeled off not even 48 hours later on 3 of my nails the morning of my wedding no less! Corporate offered to make a right a wrong by giving me a free manicure and when I went in for it the tech complained having to do it for free. Said she works off commission and not on an hourly wage so she’s working for free and it should be the tech that messed up in the first place doing this for free. I didn’t even have control over who was set to do this free manicure I just was told I could come in on the day and time of my choosing and it was confirmed by her manager. Was left with such an awful taste in my mouth that all I can do is make it known that they are awful with customer service and I will never recommend them ever again.
I love Allison!! She took great care of my feet!! I will definitely be back. I came back again!! The service is excellent!! Allison again took great care of my feet!!!
12-15-18 Not staffed enough for the Holidays. Young Blond lady behind the receptionist desk was not helpful and basically on the rude side. I was told that there is a one hour wait and to sign in. As I was asking her a question and signing my name and just about done, she grabbed the pad to give to another customer. Just plain rude. The nail polish selection was AWFUL - polish looked old and dried up. Not enough colors to choose from - Wow all I can say is Look at these reviews and stay away from this place. Staff acted like they didnt want to be there...so SAD. Merry Christmas!!
Great place for manicures and pedicures!
They have no problem letting you wait for 1-2 hours or suggesting that you go shopping (promising to call you when its your turn), meanwhile taking other clients ahead of you. Then when you politely bring it to their attention (hoping they made a mistake). They inform you that you will have to wait a little longer than the four hours and fifty five minutes that youve already waited and the nail technician is only going to one of the two services that were requested because she has somewhere to go.
Very rushed
Wen U painted me nails blue i thought dey were blueberries so i eated them
This place is awful. The first time I called and the receptionist said come on in we aren’t busy... I drove straight there and when I arrived she said they were short staffed and not taking anymore clients for the day. I decided to give them a second chance- went today and the receptionist said the wait was 20 minutes. After waiting for 30 minutes I asked how much longer and she said another 20 minutes. It’s so unorganized and completely unprofessional! Don’t waste your time.
Just called to schedule with Jess. Was told no Jess works there! Yes she does. Jessica I guess is what they call her. But Jessica wrote Jess on my card! After all of the going back and fourth on the phone. She said. We arent excepting anymore appointments for Thursday . Then she hung up . Last time I will be going there! Rude rude employees
So I’m taking my nails off today bc I do that ever so often and plan on getting them redone as usual in a couple of weeks. I was removing my nails and in my 40yrs I have nvr been so horrified. I’ve been getting my nails done since I was 16 and what I saw when I removed one of my nails was scary. My entire nail is green and black with a fungus. I’ve spent a lot of time and money at this place and to have this happen is disgusting and embarrassing.
Paul, Gail and Megan did an excellent job on our pedicures!
Would never step foot back into this place. They did not care to help nor did they want my business. No wonder why they have only a 2.5 star rating. Clearly shows!
Went to get acrylics today... It took the nail tech almost 3 hrs to finish the acrylics, and after continuous mess ups, she had another nail tech try to fix her mistakes. Asked for coffin shaped nails, got terrible almond shaped nails. My cuticles are bloody and sore. And this terrible experience cost me almost $70.00. Happy to say I will never be returning.
I have been to this place many times before, I’m usually a walk in but this time my mother and I decided to call a day before and have an appointment at 12:00pm! We got there 5 mins early my mom was taken back and I waited and waited for 45 mins! I told her to just cancel my appointment because I called ahead for an appointment for a reason! They do an amazing job at nails and all but if I call for an appointment I would appreciate to get my nails done at the time I scheduled!
I tried to like this place. The environment is nice and clean BUT this is not the place to go for acrylics. Ive gotten my nails done here 2 separate times by 2 different people (tried to give them a chance) they can not give you the desired nail shape you want unless you want square or round, the lady tried to tell me she couldnt give me the shape because of my cuticles?? The nails do not last only a week before mine were lifting. I will not be going back here again.
I just had an awesome mani-pedi with Jessica, who has been a nail pro for 11 years and is FANTASTIC! Book Jessica if you can. 🙂 The only reason I am not giving five stars is because the management does not allow you to put tips on your card, and they do not tell you this in advance. So, take CASH!
Love this salon -! The ONLY place i go to for pedicures & nail balances. The atmosphere & decor is amazing -!Great service & friendly staff with skilled technicians.
Came this weekend for a couple hours of mommy time with a friend! There was a little wait but i just went next door and shopped a little and they gave me a call when they were ready for me. I got a gel pedi and i love it! The technician was a very nice gentleman and was very thorough with cutting cuticals, making sure the polish was in properly, and smoothing out my heels. The establishment was very clean and friendly. Will be coming back soon!
Absolute worst experience. Waited over 2 hours when told it would be a 30 minute wait. Followed up and again told another 30 minute and they took customers in front of us. Was not able to get full services asked for due to lack of time. Time management and customer service is horrible. Would not have been an issue if the receptionist had knowledge of service times and how to handle customer issues. Watched many customers be turned away. Would never come here again or reccomend.
Not sure why all of the negative reviews. Im not from the area and went here to get a balance. Dewey did my balance and they look great! He listened to me when I explained what I wanted and even had to redo my polish on a few nails bc I dropped my money when I went to get up. The price was what I would of paid at home. Its a nice place, would visit again. Only downfall, you need cash to tip, but they have an atm. 💅
I had never gotten a pedicure & my friend’s mother offered to take us out to get one. I am very insecure about my feet & try my best to take care of them at home. I have my dad’s feet which are callused & have upward growing nails. I recognize my feet don’t look like everyone else’s ontop of that, i have never had any professional work done to them. I had picked out the color black for my toenails which is the only color I have ever liked on my toes & comfortable with on my toes. The woman took one look at my feet & she started talking bad about how calloused my feet were and how my nails grow. Im a shy person, I have never liked my feet, and only in recent years would show them around others. She then took one look at the color I picked out, which was black, and she told me I had to do a color and I shouldn’t do black. I respect her professional opinion on what color I should put on my toes but I think as the customer I know what I want I picked up black she should respect that after I said no I don’t want color. on top of that I am a very standoffish person when I don’t know somebody so I kinda gave in, not wanting confrontation. I also realize that there is somewhat of a language barrier and the American etiquette is different to other countries etiquette. To make a long story short she put a pink/hot red looking color on my toes which is totally opposite of what I wanted. I realize I could’ve spoke up and said something but like I said before I didn’t want to upset her. I spoke to my mom about this and what happened and she understood both point of views but as the you should respect the customers wishes. I was very polite and quiet and I thought I was a good customer in that aspect. On top of that I know that my nails aren’t the easiest to paint but she was cleaning off nail polish I had on before she missed a bunch, my friend and her mom’s workers attending to their feet would apply the basecoat fan it so it would dry, and repeat. The person working on my feet applied the coat didn’t dry them at all put on the polish didn’t dry them at all and put on the final coat. I inspected them after I got home and so she missed quite a few areas on my toenails. I realize that you will make mistakes but there is multiple areas she missed and it just bothered me because I saw she was rushing to finish my feet. i was the second person out of three to start my pedicure, i got extra callus treatment on my feet and I still ended up being the first one done. I think if she would’ve took her time the toes would’ve came out a lot better even if they were the color I didn’t choose. That being said the women working on my friend and her mom were very polite. I personally won’t be coming back again for a pedicure.
I normally come here a lot for acrylics and gel with no issues, but my first negative experience was yesterday. i had a walk in for an acrylic fill and i asked the receptionist how long the wait would be and the only response she could give me was “not long”. we ended up waiting about 30 minutes, and i felt rushed the entire time. my tech (who i’ve had before and did an amazing job, so i was very shocked by this) sped through filling my nails. when i was done and instructed to wash my hands in the back, as soon as i got up she called another name and proceeded to grab my coat, phone, and purse and make my boyfriend hold them as i was drying my hands. it was super uncomfortable, i’m a manager at my place of employment and i would never think about removing others belongings while they’re elsewhere and making their s/o hold it. even though my nails do look pretty good, i still like the experience of relaxing and talking with the nail tech and my boyfriend since i do enjoy some of the techs there. and i couldn’t really get that since she rushed through the entire thing.
Great experience for the 2nd time. Jessica did my manicure and pedicure and did an AMAZING job, takes her time, doesnt rush, and pays attention to detail. She was very sweet and kind, and did such a great job! Will be back in 2 weeks!
Long wait, rude desk person. worst acryllic set Ive ever had. Lasted less than a week and had to get a repair job last minute before sons wedding....ar additional expense.
My mom and I went for a mani pedi for her birthday. The service was horrible. The lady’s are rude and don’t seem to care much. My massage was the worst I’ve ever had. The gel on my nails was very streaky. For the amount it all cost it should not have taken less than an hour. After all that the lady charged the card an extra $600 by mistake! Overall not a good experience one bit!
Went in on Sunday for a balance and 2 nail repairs. Things I learned about the lady that did my nails--- her best friend is in the hospital for a heroin overdose, she went to see said best friend and the mom didnt want her at the hospital, her cousin is in jail and has been writing letters to best friend in hospital, she thinks she should get paid an extra 10 dollars to take the garbage out at work, she doesnt know the new receptionist but knows she doesnt like her because she has blonde hair, she isnt happy she was told she cant wear a tank top but 2 other people had tank tops on, and she LOVES to cuss. The only question she asked me was if I wanted my nails cut shorter. My nails look horrible. The are so sharp on the ends Ive continually scratched myself. I had the white polish put on for the French tip, that looks horrible. I will be taking it off and painting my nails myself. I am out the 34 dollars for the nails and a 5 dollar tip. I will never return to this place. Which is sad since this was my first visit. I DO NOT recommend this place for anything.
Unprofessional and awful. The guy that did the gel nails messed up the order and instead of glossy looking nails, they are like a gritty mess. The color is ok, but the surface of all 10 nails is like sandpaper. They just don’t care about the result of their work, as long as they get you out of the seat fast and get their cash.Unfortunately this isn’t the first time I have had terrible service in this location. I get the usual response of “so sorry, call us and we’ll help” but nothing ever gets corrected.I will never waste another cent in this place. I’ll drive across town instead.
My daughter and I went to get acrylics and it was a horrible experience. One lady started my daughters nails and glued the tips on, then stopped because her late appt lady was on her way so my daughter sat there for 10-15mins with long curved nails waiting for another lady to finish a pedicure she was doing to finish her nails. Both ladies doing our nails were rushing and apparently the one doing my nails had no care of what they looked like-very unhappy with how they turned out. Uneven, crooked and not filled well at all! Worse experience getting my nails done ever especially for the price. My boyfriend ahead of time called and they said starting price was $32...well we didn’t get anything extra or special but ours together ended up costing $98! I will never go back, and do not recommend this place!
Absolutely terrible, walked in on a Tuesday afternoon for pedicure and acrylica and was told they could not take me because of a party of 6 coming in a half hour. The salon was practically empty. Unacceptable for a salon of this size. I have been here several times before and enjoyed my experience, but will never be coming back.
I was there 2 weeks ago on a Friday to get my nails done for my wedding. I got a gel on my fingernails and did not like the color. I am a shy person and don’t like confrontation so I didn’t say anything. After we walked out I told my mom I hated them, she said let’s go back and we can ask them to put a different color on. My mom asked the gentleman at the front desk and he said he had to get his manager. We waited for nearly 10 mins, and the manager was standing at the front desk never came up to us just kept staring. The guy finally walked over and told his manager we were the ones waiting to talk to her. She was very rude and basically told us that since I didn’t say anything during the person doing my nails there was nothing they could do. It was ridiculous I wanted my nails to look good because I knew they would be getting pictures of my hand. I never get this kind of stuff done so I had no idea what the process was. I wouldn’t request this business to anyone. The gel also peeled off after 2 days.I cant reply to your response, however there were multiple techs just sitting there on their phones. The person that did my nails had no customers and there were at least two others not doing a thing.
I love my experience and I plan on returning as a regular customer thank you Holly
I’ve been going to this salon for a while now since it’s close and convenient. The salon is beautiful, and some of the people are very nice and talented! But others have a bad attitude, which I have witnessed in the past. My mom and I needed our nails done for an event last minute and we didn’t get off work until 7, so I called the salon and asked when they stopped taking clients, the receptionist said they stop taking clients at 7:30. So I ended up driving there and walked in just in time and ready to write our names down on the paper. The receptionist asked me what I needed done, I said I needed 2 Dip manis and if it was possible to do them before they closed. She hesitantly said yes, and I proceeded to write our names down. One of the nail techs walked up and the receptionist asked her if she could do a Dip mani on me. The nail tech made the remark, with an attitude, “I’ll be here till 8:30 then.” I was kind of stunned she said that. I know that I was cutting it close to the closing time but wasn’t aware I was going to receive rude remarks. I politely said that I can leave if it’s a problem, you just have to let me know if I should come back tomorrow or another time. The nail tech said that it was fine. Another nail tech walked up and the receptionist asked her if she could do a dip mani for my mom, and she just rolled her eyes, which was very unprofessional. From the dirty looks, glares, and remarks my mom and I were receiving from the nail techs, we felt VERY unwelcomed. I decided to scratch our names off the list and we walked out.My family owns multiple businesses in town, so we know what great customer service is, and in this case, it was poor. If the receptionist told me it is too late to take us and come in tomorrow, that would have been fine, but sadly this wasn’t the case. Employees can make or break a business, and in this case they were breaking it. I will take my money elsewhere, and will not be returning.P.S. maybe your salon should stop taking clients at 7 instead of 7:30 if it’s a big problem.
Very professional and she did a great job !What I didn’t like was that I couldn’t put the tip on my credit card !
I dont even want to give one star, but it wont let me post the review if I do not choose a star.. The service was horrible the employees are rude and dont seem to care much. If they dont want to deal with the public they should work in the back. My massage was the worst I’ve ever had I had to wipe the remaining product off my leg. My nail polish was very light and streaky. When we tried to check and pay the desk was complete chaos. Overall not a good experience one bit, I will probably not go back and I would not suggest it to anyone else. THUMBS DOWN!!!!!
Yikes. One of the worst manicures Ive received in recent memory. I always get the dip (sns) becuase of their durability and zero drying time. My usual place always always rocks it but I was home visiting. The nails feel like sandpaper. The are unevenly balanced and parts are shiny but most are dull/matte.They remained goopy for almost an hour after i left. I only ever get dips and it has never looked this poor. They could use a lot of training.
Good people there. And they know how to do nails.
When I walk into a salon & I greet the woman at the desk... I do expect a hello back. I assume she is paid to say hello? Anyway, I sign in as usual (year+ regular customer) after picking my color, I asked how long and pointed to my name, and verbally announced the number I was on the list. She says “5 mins”. Yay! Right? No!! I waited 30 mins patiently then asked, when will I be helped you told me 5 mins? She says she doesn’t recall saying that, and maybe just saw the wrong name... interesting.... probably distracted by her giant mole-like piercing on her face. But whatever. It’s Thursday and I said I’d like to make an appointment for Friday. She says no weekend appointments. EXCUSE ME... Everyone from the dawn of the calendar knows Friday is a weekday and if you wanna include it get a new sign and drop the attitude! I have had HANDFULLS (pun intended) of bad experiences there. Usually with the quality of the nails. The person who owns this also owns the nail salon at the Levis Commons Mall too, even worse than Prive...check the google reviews!! Yikes! They look similar. The owner cares more about expanding their nail salons out to Houston, Texas than having a positive name and well trained staff. Thankfully, Johnathon Khoi is close by and does much higher quality work for your money.
Such terrible customer service. After being a very regular client for over 5 years, my nail tech was let go, in the middle of my service! This was so unprofessional and I left the salon with my nails unfinished with no offer to have someone finish my service. There is no excuse for this and, if I can help it, not one person I know will utilize this salon ever again! You cant tell me that this issue couldnt have been addressed at close, 2 hours later, or at least after my service was complete. What a shame.
