If I could put zero stars I would. A month ago I accidentally paid my 6 times due to a website malfunction. The company said it would take 2-3 weeks for a refund. I still have not received my money back. I’ve contacted the company several times and each time they tell me to “wait 3 more days” before calling again. After hearing this several times I asked to speak to a supervisor but the staff refused to let me talk to one and said they would call me back. That never happened. So I again called and requested to talk to a supervisor and was told they would call me back. I said that I would prefer to wait on hold AND WAS HUNG UP ON!!! I still have not received a refund of MY MONEY and have placed a complaint with the better business bureau.

Took the afternoon off of work to have equipment installed. The technician did not show up. After two hours of being on hold I was informed that the technician was overbooked for the day and could not get to all of their work orders. A text message or an email letting me know would have been appreciated.

Download I have no complaints. The upload on the other hand is horrid. I am a content creator and rely heavily on upload but due to the severe lack in performance I cannot interact with my community. Have the highest package and maybe get a stable 1mb up per sec when we need 6mb to 10mb up min. Otherwise no complaints.

So this is the second month in a row for the following. Finally received my bill today, and its due in 2 days. Tried to pay online, and my profile has been deleted with no way to register a new one. Tried calling to pay, and their system says my account is invalid. Now I have been on hold with their customer service for 2 hours and 47 minutes... Not to mention the 3 months of weekly service calls it took to actually have somewhat stable internet at half of their advertised speed... At 3 hours I will hangup and mail a check, which will be late... But at this point it is the fault of a company so poorly run that they cant even accept payment for subpar service...

Imagine paying $100 a month for 200mbps, and the ping sitting at 200, 9 mbps download and 10 upload. Beyond the worst ISP Ive ever dealt with, and I used to have CenturyLink. Theyre speeds are slow but atleast its consistent with what you pay for.

We regularly lose service one base, typically 3 or 4 times a month for several hours. Its very difficult to get ahold of customer service to resolve the issue or get an update of how long service will be out.

If I could give this company less than 1 star I would. I live in the Mountain Home, Idaho. The internet is great when it works. IF it works. It will just shut off and stop working through out the day multiple times in a row. There’s only 3 total devices connected and one of them is hard wired in. I’ve called numerous times and they say they can’t give me a time frame on when it’s going to be fixed or a date of when a technician will be out to work on it. I’ve emailed corporate with no response. Put in request after request for someone to look at it. They keep saying it’s an area issue and it’ll be resolved when it’s resolved. I work from home. I need the internet. I asked for urgency in this manner to no avail. They never answer the phone in under 30 minutes. All this has happened in under a 6 month time period. If you have ANY other option I implore you to go with them.

Service is intermittent and at half the speed subscribed, therefore vastly overpriced. Constant issues with my bill that they won’t fix— still being charged for a modem I returned two years ago, and they continue to charge my old card each month regardless how many times I call and tell them my new number. Wish I could switch companies but they’re the only internet provider available in my area.

The only 2 internet companies in Mountain Home and they are both absolutely horrid. Connection drops every day, all the time, its hard to even keep an internet connection for an hour straight. You will not get consistent internet in Mountain Home. Hey, at least Boise isnt too far away. Just dont ever use Zito Media.

Ive been a customer on base for about a year and a half now. This company definitely uses the take it or leave it, were youre only option in town and we know it. approach. I pay for 100 mbps, about 50-65 a month, and my speeds have never once reached over 30 mbps. upload speed tops out at 10-11 mbps. The employees that handle customer support are almost always rude, and everytime ive called in the past and transferred to someone else, they either a)leave it ringing on your end, b)hang up on you after a few minutes of waiting, or c) they just dont do the job right, so you have to call back and see if someone else can. The thing is, they know there are only 2 choices on base, centurylink or zito, and they take advantage of that. I had a technician come out once to do some work and i waited all day, and i can see my front yard from my living room. Nobody ever showed up, and when i called, he had said he removed and replaced a bunch of stuff in the house,which as i said, nobody ever showed up to begin with. I would NEVER use this company and their service, but as stated, theyre the only decent option and they know, so they take advantage. 0/10 on everything, awful service, and a awful company.

This is BY FAR the worst company I have ever worked with. You will never get anything close to the internet speeds they advertise and they will come by to sell you on the Fiber upgrades they never did to your house. You will have a lot of outages and be throttled during peak hours. The house I lived in was sold and I had to move to an area where they didnt have service and they proceeded to bill me for the remaining months on my contract regardless of it being out of my control. If you live in the Mountain Home Idaho area do your self a favor and get CenturyLink. Yes the speeds they advertise are less than Zito Media however youll be at the speed you pay for and arent constantly throttled and having outages.

Scheduled an install on June 1st for June 9th. Received a robot message on June 7th saying they needed to reschedule and to call customer service to do so. Called 4 times that day and never got through, any other extension I tried pushed me off back to the customer service line without even letting me finish my sentence. Finally got a hold of somebody on June 8th. They said the technician had to cancel and they could send someone out on June 10th with no time slot. Thought that was the end of it. WRONG!Received a call on June 9th attempting to reschedule my original appointment. I informed them that I had just done that on the 8th for the 10th, and they couldnt find the new appointment. They tried to set me up for June 16th, but I expressed a lack of faith that they would keep that appointment, so they pushed me off to customer service without letting me finish. Again. On hold for nearly half an hour now and they just hung up on me. The absolute worst customer service and professionalism Ive ever experienced in an ISP. Not sure if its systemic or limited to this location, but fix it. You owe your customers that much. Or sell out and leave so we can get someone to replace you that actually cares about their reputation.UPDATE: Just canceled my order with the greatest of ease. The sales technician that helped me (I believe her name was Leah) was the highlight of my experience with Zito. She was very professional and actually seemed to care that I was canceling. Please promote her to manager so you can fix your broken service.Update to the update: Reordered service toward the end of June and surprisingly they didnt reschedule. I got service! BUT just got my first bill. They charged me $10 for a modem rental when I never even suggested I would be renting one, and there was a $6+ additional ghost charge. Called the billing department, got the $10 rental removed, found out that the $6 was for prorated billing in June, then before I could ask them anything else, they hung up. Called them back and continued the conversation with a new tech to figure out the tax situation. He couldnt explain what I already knew, and when I asked to speak to a supervisor, I was put on hold for a few minutes, then told that I would have to call back, and when I protested, he told me that they had other customers waiting. So your other customers are more important? Seriously?! I wish I could realistically tell you not to purchase their service, but its unfortunately the biggest fish in town. Just because we have no other viable options doesnt mean you can treat us like garbage.

We use our internet to work from home as most people do right now with COVID going on and I havent had service in over a month. Ive contacted the company several times (and with a average hold time for their customer service being over 40 min every time i call this is extremely painful) they have not resolved the issue or issued any compensation besides a very minor $10 discount on last months bill. I have unfortunately been a customer for over a year now and have been paying (for over a year) for the 200Mbps speeds however when clocking the speeds hardwired with a CAT8 cable multiple times Ive never gotten over 37mbps a issue Ive brought up a few times as well to which they would fix and my internet would get up to 80mbps for about 30 minutes after getting off the phone then ramp back down to 37mbps. Awful customer service and even worse internet service. Im considering making a FCC complaint about all this.

The WORST internet service I have EVER had. The technicians never show up. On the rare occasions that they do, they dont fix any problems and need to come back later to never show up again. They track mud all over my house. I thought Frontier had problems but after trying for 3 months to use Zito I had internet for maybe 5 days TOTAL.

I would give them zero stars if I could. If you can avoid this company do at all costs. Prices are high for the cable and took 3 tries to try to get it to work, which it never did, and I finally just cancelled and found something us. My apartment complex offers WIFI as part of the rent and now have been given the run around for over a week on why they cannot get it fixed. They don’t show up for scheduled appointments and just want to reschedule again like it is no inconvenience at all. AVOID ZITO MEDIA!!!!!!

I don’t even know where to start. The horrible internet and cable or customer service. Any time you have to call which is often because their services is terrible the reps are extremely rude and unhelpful. I don’t think I’ve ever had someone in customer service say “there is literally nothing I can do for you” and to call back and maybe they can set up a work order. Mind blown, if this wasn’t the only option available at this apartment complex I would have dropped them after the first call. Also if you do get a service request scheduled they will not show up after giving you an 8 hour window they could possibly show up and then when you call to find out why they didn’t show up they say the request had been cancelled but can’t tell you who or why. Each rep has known less than the last. Just don’t, if you have any other options just don’t bother.

I’d honestly rather have deployed internet than Zito at this point, at least deployed internet would be online most of the time.I’ve called them over a hundred times since I’ve started service with them little over two months ago always due to the internet going it because of one thing or another. It almost always takes 30+ minutes to get a hold of someone when I call them and they can’t give me an exact time when a tech will be over when they finally do send a tech. They’re all like “a tech will be over in the next 24-48 hours” and then when I ask them what time, they can’t give me more than, “oh sometime between 10-12 or 2-4” I mean, what’s so hard about giving a certain time? It’s like they don’t have any sort of schedule or anything and sometimes they don’t even give me that two hour window, they just say sometime in the next 48 hours.And then there’s the “network upgrades” they’ve been doing for like an entire month now. When will the network disconnects and signal issues stop? It seems like they’re never ending. Y’all fix one thing, or replace some cable here or there, and then a couple days later the same thing happens. When can I have reliable working internet that doesn’t disconnect all the time?And one more note, it’d be nice if they’d stagger there maintenance times. It always seems to be between the hours of midnight and 5 am when they’re upgrading something or replacing this or that which is very inconvenient because that’s around the time I, and several other people who work on base, get off of work. I just want to watch an hour or two of Netflix before going to bed, but can’t most nights because the internet’s out.And of course the connection speeds are nowhere near what I’m actually paying for. I rarely get maybe 20 or so mgps at times, but usually only somewhere around 5mgps it less, even though I’m paying for the 100 mgps Internet.

When it works, its great. Fast speeds and everything. HOWEVER, Zito Medias service is consistently unavailable, at least, once a month. ALSO, when work is scheduled (like a full system upgrade) the customers are not notified. The last outage lasted for 2 days. Ridiculous? YES Frustrating? ABSOLUTELY The alternative is to get a different ISP at a much slower speed.

New customer in Elko with the 50Mbps plan, I have had service about 12 days now. Never seen anything above 0.2 Mbps, even at off peak hours. Every time I call, they say there are 10-15 other customers who are reporting same speeds and there are ongoing repairs to the local infrastructure- but no info when speeds will be back to normal.

I am writing this as a customer of almost 9 years which I am ashamed to say! This is by far the worst company I think I have ever dealt with! They just try to run you around in circles until you give up and accept that things are what they are and will never get any better! I have had their 1 gig services for almost 6 weeks. In that 6 weeks I have spoken to 10 different reps about my internet problems with absolutely no resolution. First its an outage then its a service call, then its a work order to tier 2! Then its everything looks good on our end, then oh its a service problem again, then its back to tier 2! Then we have someone coming out make sure your there so we can fix the problem so I take off of work for 2 hours and no one shows up just to find out that the work order was canceled but no one let me know. And still the problem exists and tonight when I speak to the rep she says its back to tier 2 and that I should buy my own modem. WTH??????

Internet goes off at the same timeframe every night and lasts until the mid next day. Same story over and over maintenance issues etc etc. Charged full price 80.00+ a month for service I get to use uninterrupted maybe 6 days out of the month. When you request a supervisor you are told non are available. THIS COMPANY NEEDS TO BE REPORTED TO THE BBB AND A CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT AGAINST THEM FROM ALL OF US RIPPED OFF CUSTOMERS!!

On an ethernet connection i average 300 ping on most video games i play and thats only if im able to connect, when contacted they take your complaints and say they will fix it but do absolutely nothing. not worth your money or time. On top of that when our service was being installed they left a very needed cable just lying on our lawn uncovered and someone mowed over it and broke our connection. I wouldve expected them to protect the cable by either burrying it or putting on a protective cover. Absolutely anyone could walk a foot into our yard and cut our cable.Edit: the past month or so has yielded better service and ping but the internet service does break down very often with no warning still

Do not bother with this company. Go with CenturyLink if you live in Mountain Home, ID. I had Zito Media for two years and it was the worst internet connection I’d ever had. I have had zero issues with CenturyLink (Which is faster despite being 40 mbps and not zito’s alleged 200 mbps) and it costs me considerably less too. Good luck getting Zito Media on the phone ever.

I work from home and rely on my internet service to provide for my Family. I have experienced issue after issue with this provider over the last couple years. The only reason I have stayed that long is due the lack of other high speed internet options in my area. Due to numerous Service Outages I am now at risk with my job. When I brought this to their attention they gave me a measly $2 refund. This has cost me and my Family significantly more than that in lost wages due to being unable to work. I do not understand how Zito is in business... I had a technician come to set up internet service at my home on a Wednesday, the technicians were in and out within about 15 minutes and when they were done I was told the modem had to do some configurations and the internet would be up and running in 30 minutes to 2 hours. After about 4 hours the internet was not working so I called Zito and a representative worked at it remotely about 15 minutes before the modem to reboot and work properly. By the time I woke up the next morning the internet was already down and like most others, my family needs the internet for work and school so I called Zito again. After talking to a representative about 30 minutes the representative essentially told me he was going to need to run a reboot cycle until the internet worked. The internet never worked so after a few hours I called back, same thing, the representative tried to reboot the modem remotely which did no good so he told me he would keep an eye on the status the rest of the day and open a ticket. I was expecting an explanation for what open a ticket but instead the representative said goodbye. The internet still did not work and I had no idea what open a ticket entailed so I called a third time to say the internet still was not working and to find out what open a ticket meant. The representative said the would work on it through their shift and a technician would have to come but the technician could not come until Wednesday. That would mean that I would go a full week from the time of having the internet set up and having another technician come out to hopefully fix it. At this point with the awful customer service and complete lack of internet I decided to wait until the morning to make sure the internet still did not work and when it didnt I called Zito to tell them I do not want their service because it did not work but for about 5 hours. I was told a technician would pick up the modem on the following Wednesday and what do you know? They cannot even manage to pick up their equipment. I called to let them know the technician never showed to pick up the equipment and the representative literally had no idea why the technician never came. I now have a different internet service that is cheaper and has not let me down for a single minute. Every time I have called Zito I have been on the phone for an hour hour average before talking to a person and then the person was absolutely as ineffective as the internet service itself.

So I just PCSd here and stationed in Mountain Home, ID (off base) at the beginning of February and writing this review as of 27 Feb 2020. Signed up for the 100MB plan and ran a few connection speed tests. Im pulling between 85-97MB average and honestly havent had any issues so far. Everything is running smoothly and customer service has been very helpful. The wait to be connected to a representative can be lengthy at times but overall, happy with the service.

When I call in, furious that the half the speed Im paying for internet hasnt been working at all for 12 hours, again, they dont even acknowledge that Im upset, let alone do anything about it. If there was another local provider, Id jump ship in a heartbeat.Updating to add not responsive. Recently, due to the lack of care that Zito has exhibited about the quality of their service, and its impact on their customers, I decided that they would hear from me EVERY SINGLE TIME that their service isnt working. Basically a monopoly on the internet in Mountain Home as the only company that offers speeds that are up to the current day standard. Conncetion is super unreliable; and drops seemingly every 5-15 minutes. Horrible experience with this internet provider. I would consider satellite internet if I wasn’t PCSing soon.

Usually on hold for hours at a time when I call. I have not had reliable wifi for 2 years. I Pay for 200mbps and i get all the way down to 9.93 mbps. Zito has had Poor customer service for the 2 years i have been with them. I have never had a phone call where I was not on hold for less than 45 minutes. The zito media hold music is stuck in my head indefinitely due to being on hold for MULTIPLE HOURS at a time. I have slept through an entire night with this music playing just waiting for somebody to answer. I have been trying to cancel my service for weeks and cannot get ahold of anybody. I have gone to their office many times when they are supposed to be open and the door is locked and nobody is there. So zito....thank you for charging me over 100$ a month for your internet that works for 5 minutes of the day and then not allowing me to cancel the service you provide by keeping me on hold for multiple hours. We have had this company for two years; for the most part the internEast was so so; always had to call and see why it’s running slow and for some reason it would ping somewhere else according to them? As of this week we have had no internet and first we were told it was just our street on the base. Called the next day, customer service was short and cut me off explaining she can see my account when I call let her finish... her words, so I did and explained she in fact was in the wrong account, I wasn’t in Nebraska but Idaho! So there’s that... then she proceeds to tell me she doesn’t see where it’s just my street and was very short with me. I in fact called it in the night prior? Our neighbor got the same run around. So here we are day 5 and no internet. Getting the run around and no one can be sure what’s going on?? I would not recommend this company, being so rural we have no choice but to use them! I can understand things happen and they are trying to fix the issue but not poor customer service...

Worst isp I have ever had. Service is down as much as it is up. Paying for 200 mbps and get about 20-30 mbps on average when its working. The service people are terrible took 3 different techs to figure out the cable line had water in it and needed to be replaced. The first 2 just made stuff up when they could not fix it. Wifi outage in our area on average once every 2 weeks. Customer service is unresponsive, and every single time the wifi is down it is for hours - a whole day. They also stopped our wifi without informing us during times of COVID where wifi is essential for those working from home. Do yourself a favour and find another company.

Called 2/24/20 about channels that are out or frozen. Made an appoint for 2/28/20 between 10-2 to have someone come to the house. They called 2/27/20 to make sure i would be home and I confirmed. On 2/28/20 at 5:15pm I called to find out why no one showed up or called. I was told it is a county problem. I explained it cost me a lot money to sit home for no reason. 1. hours at work 2. I pay extra for the channels out. What kind of refund can I expect? I was given a one time courtesy credit because I havent ever used it. I really wish I could rate less than one star. Zito media has to be in top 2 worst run internet providers on earth. Their service is absolutely non existent and always out of service in Mountain home Idaho. I really recommend you go with anyone else other than Zito for internet at least.The techs for Zito are very inexperienced and bad at their job, hence why the outages last for days on end.The speeds are average. You’ll 100% not get what you ask for but I’d expect no less from Zito. Honestly if it wasn’t for daily outages Lasting days I’d probably give it 3 stars which is about what I would rate any service provider. That does the bare minimum.The only good thing is the customer service. I was rather impressed but they always say the same thing when asking them about anything. I feel bad they have to settle for a job at Zito media. I’m sure they field all of angry customers. You’ll occasionally get the long wait time of an hour or 2 but it’s rare. I’ve called them a lot and it’s usually 15 mins ish.Please do not throw away your money to Zito for constant headaches. I’m having to switch to another service provider which I haven’t even gotten installed yet but it’s 10x’s better than Zito already.I hope this reaches someone. Companies like Zito should not thrive because Mountain home has options and is better than this. I really recommend you go with the other internet providers.

By far the absolute WORST internet provider I have ever had! I havent had a full 24 hours without losing service/connection, constant fails. Doesnt even reach half of the advertised Mbps speeds so dont waste your money, if its your only provider buy the cheapest plan! 30 minutes on hold everytime I call.Update: 2 months later, still have to call them every day to reboot my modem as it constantly cuts out on a daily basis in the evening. They cant do anything else but reboot it from their end and if that doesnt work, file a tier 2 ticket to have it looked at 24 additional hours later.

Like many of us I have been working from home. 4 out of the last 7 days they have had service outages and ive hardly been able to get any work done. They will then later say that theyve been doing maintenance. Why they dont do maintenance during low traffic times is beyond me. This company should just give up and go out of business.

I have called multiple times and been told that they are servicing the network and service wouldnt be resumed until services have been completed. 17 days of no internet and they still cant give me a estimated date of my service returning. Ziti is @$#%÷×+ quality. Lived here 13 yrs. With each change of service it has gotten worse. I pay for High Speed 100Mgs. We are lucky to get 17-25Mgs. They throttle back at nighttime. The we get single digest megs. Tonight it was out from 3-4:30pm & 8 to 9.30 plus .This is c@@@. However Ziti is the only cable internet provider in Mon Home. This or DSL .

When I first change to Zito media it was because centrylink did not have higher then 60mpbs service at my new home. I took the 100mpbs service and even bought there modem. The first month was good got anywhere from 70mpbs to 98mpbs. The past month my severs has been struggling to even get 25mpbs so I decided to spend 200 on a new netgear nighthawk router which did boost signal for a day to 49mbps. Now my signal has dropped to 3mbps for the past week and I have sent emails called customer service and even texted per there message. I have spent in the past 2 days a total of 6 hour holding with them stating we are experiencing higher then normal call volume.I am now giving zito 3 stars due to the fact that customer service is still very difficult to contact. I was finally able to get though on the phone after an hour an 20 minutes on hold and the person had me do 3 different speed test all 1mbps or less and then told me hey would have to send to level 2. The next day someone responded to my text to customer support and they fixed it in just a few minutes so now I am back up to 80bpbs. So the internet service provided is great but the ability to reach customer service needs to be greatly improved. This is why I am still only giving 3 stars

This is the worst internet ever! My WiFi goes down at least three times a day. When I call customer service they say there’s an outage in my area. Why is there an outage for TWO weeks! I pay 54$ a month for 4 mbps when I’m supposed to get 50. I don’t recommend this at all what so ever.

Zito media! A company that will sell you 50mbps internet and actually provide you with 20kbps internet! Choose this company if you want to have the slowest connection speed and terrible service! Great for getting ignored and lied to!Seriously, I pay 70 bucks for 50mbps. Download speed is 30 mbps and upload is 20kbps. And thats when the service is working. Half the time it doesnt connect. They tell me they will send someone out. No one shows, or if they do, they plug in their tester, say yup its good and leave. Ive had my modem reset 100 times, gotten a credit for lack of service and yet I stay with this company because I want to support them. But here we are, months later, still spotty coverage and service. No remedy in sight and not a word from anyone important in the company. YOU CANT CHARGE PEOPLE FOR A SERVICE AND THEN DELIVER HALF OF WHAT WAS PROMISED! I WANT TO PAY FOR AND USE THE SPEED AND CONNECTION I ASKED FOR!

Initially, ZitoMedia was great. We didnt have any issues. Then we would randomly loose service for days on end with no communication whatsoever on their end. The only was to get any info was by contacting them first. Customer service by email was a joke and by phone not much better. When you did get a hold of them, they could never tell you anything about why we didnt have service and most of the time seemed bothered that we would inquire why we were not getting the service we were paying for. All they could tell us was that, there was a problem and they were looking into it.When new management took over, things got better again for a moment, then quickly went down hill again. There are days where we cant stream, download anything or even listen to Spotify. And forget about evenings and weekends. Customer service is still a joke. The only way to get ahold of anyone is if you get lucky and someone picks up your call. The agents are significantly nicer than the ones from previous management, but still cant do anything for you.Well be switching internet providers and getting a deal that is literally more than 10 times the Mbps for less than what we are paying now with ZitoMedia.

If they are the only place to get internet..do without it. Weve been fighting them for months..we showed them our orders, cancelled our account due to military orders and moved cross country. Only to find out they were still charging us and had gotten creditors involved. They are horrible to work with. Will lie to you on the phone. And not honor known military clauses. Stay away from them. I dont want anyone going through what we are going through now. Horrible company.horrible customer service. NOT military friendly at all.

Changing my review because what was once a fast internet connection has turned spotty and unavailable for months. Each time I call Zito to cancel I get bounced around departments until finally its an after hours department and I have to leave a message. I never get a call back and I am stuck paying for this terrible internet. I have turned off auto-pay and will not be paying any balance once my service is cancelled

Internet has been down for 4 days now and every time i call customer service they say they’re working on it. No updates on it at all. I’m a fully online college student in need of internet. They took over satview in our area and since the take over I have not received over 6 meg service with my 100 meg package. I keep getting told it’s because so many people are online. It’s fiber backed cable. The service is terrible with constant disconnects at all times of the day and night. The installation tech was extremely rude to my wife. Wanted the modem in a different room and he just walked off. I was at work so I couldn’t deal with the tech. I just get excuses when I call. Had good service for 4 years and now the cable service is a joke. Wish there was real internet in Elko NV.

Horrible! Tv is always buffering! Waiting 30 min on the phone to speak with customer service! This is by far the worse cable, internet & phone service Ive ever had! Speaking to a Supervisor, they have no way of knowing how long the customer waits. So they should at least as if youve been waiting a long time and automatically apologize for the wait. Also, if that isnt enough. A cable was supposed to be buried weeks ago. Never got a call from the tech who was suppose to do it. So I called customer service and the Supervisor apologized because I should have received a call from the tech! 😳😒
