My initial call in was very informative and helpful. Trying to contact them for my appointment after not hearing from them was next to impossible. The technician showed up before the window ended without a call, which was fine because he came. The technician was extremely knowledgeable and informative. We were very pleased with him and his services. We went ahead and scheduled for next month. Hopefully we get a call beforehand and everything goes smoothly for the follow up. We all know that a company’s good service is not how it starts but what is shows in longevity. So far so good!
On time and good value but poor internal communication. My bat is gone and the area was disinfected and new insulation installed. However, no attention to detail and many items I was promised were not delivered.
Great General pest control service.
He always emails the day before he comes to ask if I need any treatment done inside. When he comes, he knocks on the door to let me know hell be treating outside. He emails the invoice. Everything is quick, efficient and easy.
DO NOT GO HERE WITH YOUR BUSINESS! I paid over $2000 for their treatment and I wish I had gone somewhere else. The inspector, James was great. Very informative, knew what he was doing. Service was initially done in March, was supposed to have a tech come back in 2 weeks to make sure it had worked, no one came. Ive called customer service and they just keep telling me a branch manager will call me back. Ive been told this 2 times. Seriously do not waste your money with these guys.Update: The service tech actually forged a paper stating he retreated my house on 4-5 and no one was home so he signed for me. I was home all day. So again do not waste your money on this branch.

They did a fantastic job at first . Then about a year or so ago they have done a horrible job they come when ever they please and never pick up the phone, leave dog gates open pay no mind to what you want or say i wish i could rate them 0 stars . Never again !

The tech, Ibrahim, has always been pleasant and given great customer service. I missed him during his service hours to ask him to rid of a small wasp nest that was forming, so I texted him to see if I needed to schedule that service. He texted he would return, and he did and took care of it. I thank him for going above and beyond what he had to do that day!
The inspectors do not actively engage with the customer during visits to discuss pests and trap placement. Sticky traps were used and got stuck to my cat. Cancellation is a nightmare, and I have spent 4+ hours on the phone with them. They do not schedule cancellation, you have to call the day you want it cancelled, which sucks because you pay for a whole year. They will not cancel until the termite bait stations you paid for are removed. Once you do get them to agree to finally cancel, they continue to send you account past due notices and threaten collection (and apologize each time after you spend 30 minutes waiting to talk to them to confirm you account is, in fact, closed). Their aggressive tactics and lack of customer response is unacceptable, and the costs are in excess of other similar services. I do not recommend using their service, which seems like a terrible rash you cant seem to get rid of.

Jonathan Day was an excellent Termite Technician for our Terminix sevices.
I needed to have an exterminator come to do a preventative spray for fleas and ticks as part of our lease. The appointment representative was very nice and quickly help me set up my appointment. Saul, the on-site technician was also super nice and finished the entire session within 30 minutes. He also made sure I got a virtual and hard copy of the invoice for my landlord. The price was also the best value of the couple of places I called.
Technician was knowledgeable and friendly. Service isn’t cheap but you get what you pay for.
Thank you, Saul. He calls one day in advance of arrival and arrives when scheduled. He clearly explains what he is doing when extra help is needed. He provides friendly service. During this visit (during winter months), he let us know that he suspected that there was something wrong with our heat pump, which alerted us of a problem we were not aware of.
I like Terminex because the techs stay in touch and are very thorough. They send a message the day before telling you about the service call. Franz Patulot was our tech for several visits (we have a yearly service contract for over 5 years as I hate bugs). Franz checked in when he arrived and even returned the next day with some ant traps for us. Thanks again Franz!

I have cancelled and restarted my contract with Terminix twice. I don’t know why. They have horrible customer service. I’ve never had more pests than since I hired them. My kids said “It’s almost like they brought the bugs with them .” They said they would come in between service times if you have a problem. When I called regarding this they said I would have to wait until my next scheduled service. Last year I tried to get a call back from the Manassas office. It took 3 months. We have more spiders and ants than ever before but they never fail to charge my credit card. It may be easy. It could be cheaper. They are a poorly run company. They don’t kill the pests!
Our service technicians have always relayed what the did and what they found to us. Whenever we have reported a specific pest problem they have immediately taken care of it. .

When they were Insight Pest they were very good about calling and emailing to notify when they would be coming to the home for services. Now that they are Terminix, they no longer notify prior to their visit. I have a back yard that has not been treated many times because I dont know when to open the gate for services. I am paying the full price for half my yard to be treated. The quality of service has declined since the company has changed.
It is too soon to know if what the exterminator did works. I was told when I signed up for pest services that my buildings were included. The exterminator told me they were not. Dont promise something you cant deliver or train your employees better. Over promising is a good way to lose business. Always under promise and over deliver. When I signed up for services, the lady I spoke to set up treatment for the next day. The same evening, I received a call from a man to set up services. After some discussion, I learned that I was not set up to receive services the next day like I was told. The following day, I received a phone call to set up my termite treatment. I never signed up for termite treatment/inspection. I felt like your company was trying to get one over on me.

The technician calls ahead of time to make certain that he can have access to the outside of the house. Upon arrival he will state what he is about to do. After completion of the work, he will show you what he has done and what the effect should be. It is all very reassuring and satisfying.

By phone, we set up an appointment for Saturday between 10-12. I made clear I could not make any work week appointments, as I work 2 jobs. They were happy to schedule a weekend appointment, which I appreciated.No one showed up. Several hours later (after I called customer service and they tried unsuccessfully to contact my technitian, and two area service managers) I received a call telling me they had mistakenly scheduled our appointment for Friday.By that point, I had already scheduled an appointment for the following Saturday with another company.
No ticks or mosquitoes since I started the service. I’m extremely surprised at how effective it’s been. Also completely satisfied with the service and communication.

Our service representative is excellent. Through the years we have had a variety of indoor and outdoor pests and he has never failed to rid us of them. Certainly enjoy seeing him every three months or as needed.
7/2...editing my review. The manager of the company called me personally and apologized for the way I was treated. I will bump this up to a 5 star later if I see results. He was very cordial on the phone, and I could tell that he was very upset with how I was treated. Truthfully--prior to the one arachnid IN my house, Id not seen any bugs in my house since signing the contract--so that part...deserves some kudos!This company is horrible. Do not sign a contract with them. When you call--you will get a message that will tell you that they have a 100% guarantee--and they are customer oriented...but I have gone through pure hell with them. They do not respond. I wanted to cancel my contract, and I wanted a full refund because the did NOT live up to their contract, and for a solid week and as many calls (and one customer service rep who hung up on me) I am strongly urging you NOT to use this company or sign a contract. The first couple of times--they were fine. I found a spider in my house--I thought it was a tick. I called the tech and he told me my service did not cover tics, so I said I was going to cancel my service and he said, go ahead. Call and cancel. So...I called his supervisor who assured me he would take care of the situation. I also sent him a picture of the tic...it turned out it was a spider! (and I am arachnophobic). He said he would arrange for someone to come out and respray. Never heard anything, so I called again, last Thursday. The CS rep told me that someone would be calling me back with an appointment time--give them until Monday. By Monday at 2:30...I was fed up. I called the 866 number and spoke to a Customer Service rep and said to cancel my contract AND give me a refund. She said someone from corporate would have to call me. I was livid and said I want the contract cancelled and an refund and I dont want to wait for someone from corporate to call me...this is ridiculous. She hung up on me. I tried to call back, and it wouldnt connect. (hmmmmm). Ive called three times since and I cannot get through. This...is...ridiculous. Ive had to go with another company.

Moso is the service tech for our home. His work is thorough and he is very customer service oriented.
One of the worst customer service experiences ever. We made an appointment, then later realized we might be late for an event if the tech showed up too late in the four hour window. So, we called first thing in the morning to ask if the tech could come earlier or if we could schedule for the next day. We were told the next day was booked, but the tech (Matthew) would call us. Three hours later, we called back and were told the tech would call us and the supervisor was being notified to call us. Nobody every called. Nobody showed for the appointment. The next day, we called early to find the appointment had been moved to that day (recall that day was booked when we asked), although nobody every told us there was a new appointment. We were told the tech (Matthew again) and the supervisor would call. We called back again during the window the tech was supposed to be there to receive the same assurance that the tech and the supervisor would call. At the end of the day, nobody showed for either appointment and NOBODY EVER called us. We called and talked to Harry in customer service who told us he was elevating the problem to the Regional Manager who would definitely call us. Guess what still hasnt happened a week later? We went with American Pest who was fast, friendly, efficient, and cheaper. Their tech was early for the appointment, but called first to make sure it was ok. World of difference.
Our Pest Control Technician, Ernest Che, was punctual, knowledgeable, and thorough. He answered all my questions and completed my scheduled services in a timely manner. He was friendly to me, my children, and dogs. 10/10!!

USE A DIFFERENT PEST CONTROL COMPANY UNLESS YOU WISHED TO BE CHARGED FOR SERVICES YOU DID NOT AUTHORIZE!!!!!!!!!I have had both termite and pest control service from this location. I was temporarily cancelling my pest control. At the same time I wanted to schedule someone to come out and do a termite inspection. I called the 800 number to do this. The lady that took the call did not understand what I was asking to do. I went around with her for almost 10 minutes trying to make sure it was understood that I wanted the pest control contract cancelled and to send someone out for termites.What actually happened was she did not cancel my pest control contract. Instead she scheduled someone to come out for PEST CONTROL. Once I was alerted to the fact that it was pest control I called to have it cancelled. The technician showed up to my house anyway. I did not ask for this.I was later called by one of the customer service folks to see about collecting payment of $105 for the service. I attempted to explain what happened. The operator said she would refer it to the branch manager for review. To which I would be contacted within 24-48 hours.Fast forward a couple of weeks to the next phone call to me asking for payment of $105 again. I asked the lady to read the notes. Apparently the branch manager decided that they would not rescind the charges, but did not bother to call me about it. The lady said she would re forward this to the branch manager.I called the next week to find out was was going on with this. The branch manager still had not reversed the charges and basically I was told that the branch decision was final. I at this point had still not received a phone call or voice mail from the branch manager.I was put in contact with the branch liaison who said there is nothing she can do because the branch decision is final. It took me four hours to get the corporate number because obviously the branch does not care enough to even call back so I elected to speak with someone higher up the food chain. Once I got someone at the switchboard the transferred me to a liaison department where I sat on hold for 1 hour and 20 minutes only to have the obnoxious hold messaging stop for about five minutes then have the line disconnected.I have registered a complaint with the BBB at this point.

They did not push any services on me that I didnt want, and made it clear that if there was anything I was unhappy about that they would come back out. Because of the negative ratings, I nearly cancelled my appointment. Im very glad I did not. I received a call the day before my scheduled appointment. Matthew arrived exactly on time, he explained everything to me--Im a severe arachnophobe--he took his time. I am very happy with this service. 100%.
Everything seemed good at first...until they didnt show up. I called (they didnt call me) to ask what was going on, and they said they couldnt make it. I was very annoyed because I had to set aside a 2 hour period of time off of work for them, and they didnt even let me know they couldnt make it. I scheduled for the next day 8am-10pm. Around 9am I began to get worried and I called them again. They said that my appointment wasnt in the system! Tried a third time for the next day (again!) and when they finally got around to coming, they said they thought it was for a consult, not a spray. I fired them on the spot and will never use Terminix again. What a total waste of my time.
Very thorough; very pleasant and polite; on time; and took the time necessary to explain to me everything a homeowner like myself needs to know about a subject none of us likes to know about. not an exception as i have used these folks before in another state and i am sure in my new residence they will perform as well as they have in the past. so far we are off to a great start!

I am so glad for Terminix. Jose Rios came Wednesday to my regular outside spraying and I informed him of a possible squirrel issue in my attack. He told me he would put a note on my account and another associate would contact me. Sure enough Dennis May called this morning to set up a time to evaluate my squirrel problems. So happy with both Jose and Dennis for helping me with my rodent issue!!
The tech is always on time, calls ahead, very thorough, and he even wears little covers over his shoes whenever he’s inside. Always 5 star service.
I believe the gentlemans name was Allen. He did a great job of explaining exactly what he was doing and why. He even made recommendations for improvement. He was very polite and respectful. I would certainly not mind having him come back for my next treatment.

Mice in the attic (after Terminix being my pest service provider for 3-4 years). Attic remediation service much higher than competitors. I terminate the service but continued getting billing notices (calls, email, text, US mail). After numerous calls finally got the account/ service closed. Whew!

This company is terrible dont use them. They treated my home for termites and they were supposed to come back and check the bait to make sure the treatment works., They never came back and I still have termites. I have called the office several times. The office gave me the managers phone number and he wont even return my call. You think youre safe using a national brand with a guarantee but that means nothing if they never follow up. Its amazing how calling and calling to get help doesnt work but if you leave a bad review they respond. To little too late. I have already hired a good pest control company that follows up.
Due to poor communication!!! with the company.Excellent service from Mr. Sesay - he was trying to acommodate my schedule on a return treatment for termites found in my kitchen - I got an email stating the treatment would be done between 8-10 am on Jan. 14th. I had an appointment at 2 pm for a doctors appointment. Mr. Sesay called to tell me that the appointment had been changed to between 3-5pm. He stated he would be here whenever I returned from my appointment and he would get the treatment done. He did as he said! You should value your loyal employees that represent the company correctly.
