The parking structure is behind the building in the alleyway. There are a lot of homeless people in the alley camping out.Management turnover is fast. They don’t ever get back to your concerns.I would look at other buildings with better security and management.

For a place with such high rent & on such a busy street youd think theyd afford legitimate 24/7 security, THEY DONT. Management is oblivious to what is actually going on here. I could count a total of maybe 4 managers. If you have one of the apartments facing Fairfax expect to be woken up every school day at 8am. You can hear the bell rings and school announcements from across the street. Walls are way too thin to be on such a busy street. My car and many other cars have been broken into more than once while being parked within the gated structure.Turn around here is very quick people dont seem to last too long. The only luxury thing about this place is the street its on, the bathrooms & the price.

I never write reviews on any business, however I had to disclose my experience living at nVe. See pictures attached for reference.Security Issues:1. The second week after moving in my car got keyed. I asked the manager at the time to review the cameras and he said that the cameras do not angle at some of the cars to see anything.2. I moved in October 2020 and my name is not programmed into the call box to this day. The manager said there was a firewall issue with the gate code and after following up for months I gave up on having my name on the call box for visitors. I physically walk down and open the main front door for guests.3. There is no security guard for the building.4. I am on the 5th floor (the top floor). The walls are thin. Ive lived in other apartments where you cant hear anything. You can hear people sneezing, on work calls, or even personal family calls.Manager Issues:1. Since I have lived here for 4 months there has been 3 different managers here. I referred two people to live here and they have a referral program where you receive $500 if they refer you on the application. The people I referred said that when asking to put me down the new manager said they do not offer that. There are signs in the lobby and office about the referral $500. The managers tell you one thing and then dont remember, play dumb, or change the rules last minute.2. My ice machine wasnt working and one manager came to knock on my door to check it himself. I put in a maintenance request and the manager shows up to check my fridge. He didnt know how to make the ice machine work either.3. Another manager knocked on my door and my neighbors door asking if we heard loud banging last night. I told him to email these questions because I am working from home and cant be disturbed at the door.4. The management team is very unprofessional and all over the place. There are no straight answers, resolutions, guidance, etc. Everyone tells you a different story.Maintenance Issues:1. My washer made a loud noise every time I did laundry. It sounded like a helicopter landing. After two different maintenance people came to check on my washer it was determined that the transmission was broken. (They didnt take me seriously the first time when I said my washer was broken. They get a new washer for me and the maintenance guy takes 2 hours to install - plug it in. He takes a phone call every ten minutes and walks outside in the hallway to talk for 10-15 minutes each phone call. I am working from home during this as well. When he is done he tells me to use the washer and its ready to go. I put a load in and get back to work. I look down after awhile and my apartment is flooded. I live in a studio so the water from the washer traveled fast. My wood furniture, wood decor, art work, shoes, clothes, mail, work papers, etc. got wet and water damage. I complained to the new manager and she had to get her superior to call me (Paul). He said there was nothing they could do and to use my renter insurance for my damages. I broke out in a rash due to mold from the water damage. I told Paul this and he said he would send a mold detector and he never did. He said he would speak to his superior and get back to me he never did. Its been a month since this incident.*Update* There was mold found. See attached pictures. nVe at Fairfax has not fixed the mold. Conclusion: I have lived in different apartments throughout LA and OC. I have never had any complaints and never had to speak with management about anything other then moving in and out and a couple maintenance requests. nVe apartments are no where near the quality photographed on the website. There are numerous places in the same area that are of better quality, amenities, management, maintenance, security, gym, package room, etc. If you move in make sure to document everything with pictures, emails, etc. It really is a headache.

Don’t move here please, I made a terrible mistake, if I even read the comments I wouldn’t have to experience this nightmare. So take the time to look around, is not worth it, you are going to end. Sending 100 emails about your concerns or any problems with the unit and you would never get an answer or solution.DONT LÉASE HERE LOOK AROUND FOR SOMETHING BETTER AND WITH BETTER MANAGEMENT.DONT move to NVE Fairfax take the advice I promise you, are not worth it.

Maintenance always knocks on my apt when im working from home. They don’t document maintenance requests and will come into your apt and do work without leaving a note or email. So shady.

I moved to NVE two months ago and my experience so far been great because of Roxanne in the leasing office. When I fist moved in she was so helpful and continues to be. She always greets you with a smile and is super friendly. The building is well kept and Im so happy to have chosen this place to be my home.

After living here for nearly one year, all I can say is dont come here. Spend your money elsewhere that is professional, clean and SAFE! My car was broken into several times as well as my husbands. Homeless people roam around the community at night because there is no security in the building. The fob keys which were the only security we had, were unlocked in the elevators, giving anyone access to the community. I found a homeless person sleeping in the staircase one night. There was no one at the leasing office for nearly one month after COVID-19 hit, leaving the community basically abandoned. Management changed in January 2020, and things went downhill. There was no leasing office contact number for 2 months. There was a fire in one of the units in February, and there was no management/office number to call. I had to call LAFD. Oh- and not to mention the homeless encampments in the back alley where residents park. Not worth $3600/month.

Brand new construction with great amenities (including great, small details like USB charging ports in wall power outlets). I am a transplant from Texas and visited several properties before choosing nVe. The staff interaction has also been very pleasant. If you are looking to rent in the area, you should definitely give this place a look.

I am from Texas and absolutely LOVE living at NVE. I have lived here for months and the staff here is nothing but 100% professional and helpful - any time they have been needed. I dont normally do reviews but felt compelled to post after reading a negative review about my home and from a fellow Texan, no less.

I was highly interested in leasing an apartment here. I stoped in around 1 pm today ( Sunday ) a young, white highly feminine man was sitting in the leasing office. I did not catch his name. I asked him if I could schedule a tour or if I could tour today if he had time he responding so disrespectfully. He asked my move in date I told him August then he started questioning me and telling me “ Uhm sweetie this is LA that’s not how this works all of our units are going to be gone by LA we are selling out like crazy”. I said okay I understand however I am moving from out of state ( I live in Texas) and am in LA this week touring apartments. He says “ OK well WE ARENT gonna have ANY”. He then rolls his eyes and looks back down. NVE Fairfax it doesn’t matter how great of an area your apartments are in or how nice they are when your leasing agent / staff is RUNNING literally RUNNING people out the door. If I were you I would fire him immediately I am sure this is not the look you are going for! For the apartments themselves I can’t even speak on them because they had me running out the door and feeling so disrespected before I could even tour. Nobody deserves to be treated like this.
