The agents are very prompt in answering queries regarding repairs that needed to be carried. Rents statements are sent out regularly with any invoices. I have always found the staff at Utopia Management very friendly. When I first put up the property on rent and gave them the details of the kind of tenants I was looking for and they found the correct tenants. They definitely listen to what you say. I would highly recommend Utopia Management for any landlord.

My daughter and I submitted our applications last weekend 1/12/20 to rent a condo in Calabasas for rent by Utopia management office located on 30700 Russell Ranch Road, #250 Westlake Village, CA 91362. I paid $45 for each application. Their website states: Once you have completed the application we will be able to approve you in less than 48 hours. Its been five days and I still dont have a reply from them about whether we are approved or not. I called the branch manager Ron Byrd on Tuesday evening and he told me that he was sending e-mails to all the applicants that evening. I got no e-mails and followed up with Mary Lewis the showing specialist on Wednesday, she told me that Ron Byrd was making his decision that day and that she will call me to let me know. No answers whatsoever, on Friday around 5pm I called Ron Byrd and he gave me the same story again, he is making the decision, they will send me an e-mail in about 20 minutes to let me know. Its 10:30 pm on Friday and never heard from Utopia management by phone or e-mail. Meanwhile the condo is still showing as available in their website. The branch manager Ron Byrd has already lied to me twice and has not replied by any means as to the status of my application. I guess He enjoys keeping applicants on Limbo in case something else better comes along. My next stop is the Better Business Bureau.

My recent experience with Utopia Management was positive and I am gladly leaving a review for them. They are professional and enjoy what they do. Excellent customer care. Being able to view properties on Sunday was a time saver for us. Well done!

JaUtopia Management n accompanied us 3times to our final house, what a joy. They were friendly and helpful at all times, took time to explain things and also understood the issues and worked around them for us. The ladies made this a positive experience for us. This is written as a prospective tenant. ive not yet to be approved or denied BUT the entire process has been VERY unprofessional to me. i only applied due to being told that i could receive an answer or an approval within 24hrs{had all my paper work in order} WHICH its been over a week plus. what a waste of $45. when i phoned to get status update. the person who answered the phoned DIRECTED ME TO THEIR WEBSITE??? keep in mind, i stated HELLO, im calling to get information ON AN APPLICATION for..... she says you can go to our website. I SAID FOR A STATUS OF AN APPLICATION ON A PROPERTY? I then get a vm? wouldnt recommend this company AND again, its not been an approval or a denial. i DONT want to imagine their approach with maintenance request. ill pass im not interested. i gave one star because at least they answer the phone.

I cant fault them, I really pleased with the service, they do there upmost to make sure that the property is always rented, and deal with tenants and myself the landlord always in a fair way... Thanks to the team
