The washing machine went out, and maintenance came over the same day I notified the front office. Its an outdated washer so it took a couple of days to get the part needed to repair it. But once it came in, they had it fixed right away. It wouldve been nice to get an updated unit, but alls well that ends well.
Management is horrible, they dont care at all about tenants or issues they have. Its never there responsibility even when they advice you to do one thing that turns out to not be good advice, and then refuse to own up to there own mistake or at least try to help. Theyd much rather tell you youre at fault and they cant do anything to help, they have no sympathy since its not affecting them. There are many tenants moving out and I see why, this place is not worth the rent might as well rent a home with these prices anyway.
The office staff is absolutely horrible . Truly do wish that Romy Wieder was still there ... he was the ONLY nice/decent one.
Iβm so aggravated right now! I pay my rent on time every month! And this the second time my knob on my shower has become loose! Iβm very patient but this has tick me off because maintenance said itβs not enough of an emergency to come out and fix! I need a shower because I been working all day and they saying itβs not an emergency! I went to the store and grabbed the wrong pliers! This is soo crazy! I just want a hot shower! Iβm not about to take a bath in the sink! And I have to be at work before the office open! Only reason Iβm giving it a 3 star is because I like my apartment and the community but this donβt make any sense! Hopefully they put a new knob on so they want have to keep coming to fix it! Smh!
I lived in that apartment complex for 4 years and 4 months. It was my first apartment. I rented a 2 bedroom and 2 bath. I had a washer and dryer plus a private balcony. I never had any pest control issues. All my maintenance request were completed on a timely manner and the office staff was very professional. My neighbors were friendly and polite. Every time I renewed my lease they offered me a complimentary carpet cleaning. I was a single female living alone and never had any safety concerns or car vandalism. The community is not located in the best area of town but management was great in my experience. I only moved out because I bought a house.

Ari made moving in simple, was polite and answered any questions that I had. They did do an excellent job at preparing them the apartment, very clean. I had a incident where my toilet wouldnβt flush when I first moved in. I called maintenance and they arrived in 5 minutes, come to find out there was a towel in the pipe. The biggest thing for me is no BUGS!! I have seen a lot of infested apartments in Las Vegas, not here at the Monterraβs. Absolutely LOVE my apartment.

SWEET VICTORY.I SUGGEST ANYONE EVICTED BETWEEN MARCH 2020 AND JUNE 2021 FILE SUIT AS WELL. HIT THESE HORRIBLE PEOPLE WHERE IT HURTS!DO NOT move here!! Ive lived there for nearly 9 years. No issues until 2017 when AMC management took over. Ever since then, you ceased being a human and became a number to them. Office staff is rude and they give general trained answers. Prior to 2017, manager had an open door and u could speak to them anytime, after that.....their front office act like gate keepers and tell u theyre unavailable everytime you call.- They charge like youre renting in summerlin. My rent was close to $1300 a month after all their extra charges.- they charge you the following in addition to rent:1) Water2) Sewer3) Trash4) CAM (property maintenance)5) Property taxesThese people offload their costs of doing business onto YOU so they dont pay anything. No apartment in the area does this. Across the street is $855 a month to their $1000+. Theyll tell you that we charge market rent but when you do your research, market rent in the area isnt even $900.1) They targeted people who were affected by covid for eviction (I was one of these people). They sent out lease termination letters to all households in the community that were affected by covid.2) they say they follow the law, but they dont. Im currently fighting them in court because they IGNORED a CDC Affidavit that prevents evictions through December 31, 2020. They have their legal firm send you threats.This place treats residents like trash. There were 2 front office workers that got moved to other properties bc of all the complaints about their attitudes, but only took them 2 years to take action.Aboslute trash management. Youre treated horribly, theres no reason to move here when theres a TON of better options.
I have been living here since 2018 and every summer there is always an excuse as to why the pool isnt open. The weather is nice year round, it should never be closed. We live in Las Vegas where it can be 100 degrees at 10pm. When they finally decide to open it and allow us paying residents to use it, they close it at 6 when the office closes. This is so unacceptable. We pay every month for certain amenities and if we cant use the pool on a regular we should get a reimbursement on our rent. I have called the office several times to ask why the pool is closed and I was informed the health department closed it. I actually called the health department and they had no knowledge of this. They need to reimburse me since I cant use it.
If I could give them a zero I would. Office staff is rude they are jankey. When u ask for things to be fixed they rig things back together. I canβt wait until my lease is up. Also during a pandemic they are evicting people even though they canβt until the beginning of the year.
Have lived here for a few months, repairs are done quickly BUT during this heβs time the world is facing they harass you every day a new posting on the door the latest is wanting to do a walk-through due to supposedly abandoning the apartment, (no phones at the moment) so I last e mailed them on Thursday which I have been doing and sending in the information they want multiple times and had my AC fixed less than a week ago also! My vehicle is outside and I have 4 children (how can you say itβs abandoned) my 5yo is low immunity and undergoing testing at the moment. Iβm sorry but NOONE will be entering my apartment and bringing anything that could make my son have to be admitted

Clean and spacious. Quiet neighbors and near a lot of businesses. Management has been on top of everything since we moved in. Ari has been extremely helpful in making us feel at home. We enjoy living here and feel very safe. Conveinent mailing setup and extremely welcoming presence. I would recommend to anyone, and already have! Affordable prices and easy to work with people.
Just moved in about a week ago. The leasing process was such a breeze especially since I was on a strict time constraint. Beth and especially Ariana were beyond helpful and explained everything to me as this is my first time leasing an apartment. I couldnβt be more excited to see how the rest of the year progresses.

The apartments are nice very family orientated community yet still quiet. My one bedroom is very spacious an fits my cal king bed along with other furniture. They are pet friendly and the front office staff has always been welcoming and helpful. The maintenance staff is pretty quick to fix any problem even after hours if needed. Close to many stores & restaurants.
OMG!!! I went on a tour today of the apartments and Ari showed me around the property she was so sweet & very knowledgeable. She showed me around the place. She addressed all my questions I had. She showed me a one bed room apartment it was very presentable, I am now considering on moving into the property as soon as my current lease is up. (:
I received a tour of this beautiful property by Romy and although I did not sign a lease (I ended up re-signing with my current apartment to avoid the hassle of moving), they were a strong contender. Additionally, of the 19 apartment complexes that I toured. Romy at Monterra was the only one to call me back and follow up with my moving situation! Customer Service!
Today is my second day in my apartment and I love it ! I was scared about the area because itβs a lot going on but itβs actually really quite over here ππΏ!The leasing manager Ari, is the best in town ! This was like the 4th apartment I applied for and Ari took her time to do everything she could to help me and I canβt thank her enough!!
When I was looking for a new place I was all the way in Washington State I liked what I had seen online, so I proceeded with the move in due to I had to be there soon for a new job. Since I been here for a year Ari made me feel a part of the community.She always has a smile on her face good or bad day and she has been amazing to me.No mater where you go in Vegas you will run into some kind of nature species. I have had no problems with roaches or scorpions. They do spray the apt. there maintenance people are right on the orders that are places in the office. Yes I think that the water, sewer and trash bill is pretty high here, but for the most part I think that the staff is wonderful they work with there renters the best way they know how. Therefore my stay here has been great so far. Thank you to the staff at the Monterra Apt you are appreciated.
Roach infested, called multiples times to get sprayed, no one came. The staff is also unfriendly, the manager is the only one thats nice. This apartment is extremely overpriced. Youβd be better off moving some place else.
A nice maintenance lady came to repair my garbage disposal and stopped up sink in bathroom. As I was washing dishes I noticed water on the kitchen floor. I opened up the cabinet door below the sink and it was flooded with water under the pipe. I immediately threw several paper towels there and newspaper and called the maintenance hotline. They responded immediately, in face I got two callbacks indicating that they would replace the garbage disposal this afternoon. Im glad my bathroom sink is unplugged and that Im getting a new garbage disposal. Thanks to the maintenance lady for her efforts and courtesy. PamW.

I put in a request on Sunday and never heard from anyone. Tuesday morning I went to the office to find my work order was never give to maintenance. Once the maintenance worker was given the order she came within an hour and handled everything quickly and efficiently. She was very polite.
Move-in was easy peasy, unpacking was a breeze because everything had a place. My apartment is totally organized. Electric was on in advance.The staff was helpful, patient and friendly, familiarizing us with the property.Weve been moved in now one week. and its been very quiet, I simply love the convience to all the stores and restaurants. the bus lines are fast and convienient.
Romy and Beth are the best. They are very helpful. I stayed here for about a year now and i love it here.

Iβve had so many issues I donβt even know where to begin. I have good credit and believed these apartments were βluxury.β Not knowing the area because Iβm new to Nevada. Donβt rent here! Letβs just say during inspection it was noticed my kitchen light was flooded with water inside. That was in February, someone was supposed to come fix it no one came, then mansoon season came July, my roof leaked, turned into a bubble and flooded my dining room, someone came and drilled a hole in it, left the ceiling mess all over the floor and dining room table and said they would come back to fix it. Iβve told maintenance and called about it at least 4 times, trying to be patient. Iβm fed up! I still have a hole in my ceiling and I pay $940 a month for 2 bedrooms! Itβs almost September, still have a hole in my ceiling. Donβt get stuck in this lease! Worse apartments Iβve ever rented. I could go on and on with problems since I moved in, trust me donβt rent here!

The management is very disrespectful to handicap and none of the apartments are really ADA Compliant I am handicapped and they are trying to throw me out over something that is not my fault expecting me to pay 1600 when Im on a fixed income. Also management is not taking Section 8 applicants anymore they denied my section 8 money
Stopped in the office to inquire about moving there and was blown away by how knowledgable the employee was. He took the time to educate me and inform me of all the procedures and steps to move forward with monterra apartments . This is my first place and I was so nervous and uninformed before stopped in. He made the process and experience so much better. The place was beautiful, clean, peaceful and If anyone thinks about moving here meet with Romy.
First off they only get a two because how nice the inside of the apartment is luckily I stayed in the front which is also unlucky because the front pool is never open itβs 110 outside and they expect you to walk all the way to the back where 1 itβs super dirty and ghetto and 2 the pool is always full of children with no parental advisement. My sister has called on multiple occasions and heard every excuse in the book on why the pool is never open. FIX IT !
I dont care for the staff in the office they seem like robots but the maintenance here is on point every time I call they come and fix the problem immediately if they can just get rid of the staff members in their office it would be paradise

Just moved in with my family and i love it the office manager josh and the other office lady Vanessa is the best she showed us around and didnt complain ( this complex is huge ) and on our move in date was so relaxing and dont have to worry about nothing we dont have a car just yet but everything is right here and a bus stop too and maintenance came fast once our socket wasnt working .

Me and my husband lived here for a year. they take care of the grounds and even if people dont pick up after their pets maintenance cleans it up more than once a month. some noise and drama but that is usually only across the street. since there is a dottys next door there are people constantly jumping the wall but despite that it was nice living there. so long as you keep to yourself and dont walk around at night alone (i had to in order to walk my dogs). Loved living here. i recommend to people

The staff is always friendly, repairs and pet control are always addressed within 24 hours. although the neighbor hood has issues, Monterra is a family friendly complex.
Its my 4th year in Monterra and I have to say since Josh and his team took over, the place has been kept clean and well maintain. Price is reasonably cheap for the area and we love how convenient the place is to major shops and the fact that everything we need is right around the corner gas, store, clinic, restaurants name it! The management and staff provide great customer service and I would personally like to commend one of the leasing consultant Romy Wieder for always staying on top of my concerns. Romy goes above and beyond by making follow up calls to make sure issues big or small gets resolve on time. He is a wonderful asset to the team. Thanks alot Romy!

When I first moved in the office staff was amazing. I didnt have problem with anyone. But as the months went on the staff changed and there is one person in the office that needs to work on her customer service skills. She has a nasty attitude and doesnt really know how to communicate properly. Beth and Josh are amazing managers and if it was them by themselves i would rate the apartments a 5. But as a whole thats why im giving a 3.
The back pool is very dirty and the neighbor hood is very nice but the people in the office are unprofessional but romy is very nice and helpfull and he is always there when u need him he should get a raise
My apartment has been having a lot of issues. My washer had flooded my apartment a while ago and they said they fixed it. Not even two weeks later I found black mold and I took them more than two weeks to βdeal with itβ. Most the office staff are rude. And even tho itβs gated there are still people walking up to my apartment that I donβt know saying their maintenance just to get in my home. There was a shooting in the complex by my home two days ago and some got stabbed in the complex not even a month ago. Itβs very unsafe.
I love the monterra apartments ive been living here for about 2 years now and i have made alot of good memories the people working in the office are very nice and will stay after office hours to help you. the neighbors are all nice, they start to feel like family to you after awhile

These are my first apartments they showed me an apt that was looking like a 4 star to 5 star 1 bedroom apartment in my eyes & gave me a 1star to a 2 star at best Iβve put in work orders for my apartment was told it would all be done within 2 weeks itβs now going on a month & only one thing has been resolved itβs really started to irritate me when i go to the office atleast one day a week to see when things are actually going to start getting worked on.So I posted a month ago & here I am again because now my toilet flooded my bathroom is soaked as well as my carpets i put in 2 request to have my toilet fixed not jimmy rigged to blow eventually while Iβm sleeping so these apartments are the worst to me because theyβll say one thing n do something different I expect a man to stand by his word not try to blame the manufacturer for his mistake. Tell me who vacuums water when you have a mop just shoes there intelligence. You office workers are no help at all you constantly have been changing your manager makes promises he doesnt make good on like I said these are the worst apartments to live in Ive had friends & family be robbed here security does nothing but sit in there cars & office workers dont even have common sense enough to check there office to see if anybody else is inside before locking people inside with no way out absolutely ridiculous so yes the phone number under my review is nothing more than the lazy office people just trying to make themself look like they do their jobs.
Ariana is who Iβve spoken to my entire process. She was very helpful and knowledgeable. She is professional and also welcoming.Now to the apartment. The one Iβm in is partially renovated but I thought it was fully. The stove is old so it half works. Dishwasher old so Iβm not even going to use it. Washer and dryerβ¦they donβt even make those models anymore. Toilet is so done it has collected dust on the inside. Counters are so worn they are yellow and dented. Microwave is yellow and the buttons are melting off. Bathroom sink isβ¦it just needs to be replaced. Refrigerator again this model is not made anymore and you have to turn it all the way up to keep anything cold.You spend a good amount of money living here and you would hope you could a least have updated appliances.Here is a big question that I canβt seem to get a clear answer:WHATS THE POINT OF BEING A GATED COMMUNITY WHEN THE GATE CODE BOX DOESNT WORK???I still have no clue how to get in my complex without waiting for someone to leave lol.The neighborhood for me is kind of okβ¦I guess (Iβm kind of bougie and come from neighborhoods that donβt mess with your stuff). Lots of kids so itβs kind of noisy but not all of the time. People seem to be friendly but they donβt have security on the premises so I definitely wonβt leave packages at my doorstep.Whew ok I think Iβm doneβ¦Iβll be back after my 11months are up.Edit: So I never said I expected brand new appliances just upgraded. They donβt have to be brand new to be upgraded to a model that they actually still make is all Iβm saying.But anyway so far maintenance is EXCELLENT. I had my A/C go out, washer/dryer not hooked up, no hot water all within a couple days and they were on it that same day.

I moved in on August 4th, I was searching online for decent affordable apartments and fell In love with these apartments. I was coming from San diego so I had no idea about much of anything besides what was advertised on their website and from speaking to the office manager Karen. After a long hassle of them trying to change the move in costs on me I still decided to stick with this apartment complex. Ive been here a little over a week now and i have nothing but complaints.. First off, We have a mold issue in our little storage unit, I informed the manager about this matter the same day I moved in & nothing was done about it... Called again about it and was told someone will be out to clean it, well they painted over it and thats it. I spoke with some lady at the office this evening August 16th and she stated she would be over to my place by the end of the business day today and never showed to take pictures.. I am beyond frustrated considering half of these people here are on section 8 and I am a full paying resident and half the stuff in my apartment doesnt work. My dish washer leaks, no microwave which was stated in their website, flooring in the living room is pealing and coming up from the wall, toliet constantly runs in the master bathroom, all our outlets are stripped.. Cabinets were supposed to be painted as Karen told me and that never happened. For the price I pay to live in this hell hole is beyond me. I am calling the better business bureo tmrw to get this delt with. I feel like this company took complete advantage of my family due to us not being local. The management and everyone in the office is very unprofessional as well. Please reconsider moving your family here.

I move out a week a go after being thete almost 2 years and on my last day my car got broken in to i told the office what was the security guards responsibility and one of the girls at the office told me that wasnt their job. I had mold in the bath tub all along the tile and tub surrounding and they just painted over the mold i called several occasions to get problems fixed and nobody would show up to fix problems such as broken handle in fridge, one of the burners of the stove didnt work and oven handle was broken aswell. One of the electric outlets made a short the first week I moved in.i just gave up on keep calling the office for the repairs. But they really are on top of getting their rent but not on top of fixing problems.
