Im waiting for my lease to expire even though its been only 5 months! Ive experienced the worst move in ever! The entire unite was covered in think paint dust! Drops of paint all over the floor, pungent smell,and repairs needed was unacceptable! I couldnt believe my eyes! The based rent is low but after all the other fees be prepared to pay $1500 plus, and your forced to get cable want it or not. The interior paint job is a joke look like it was done by my toddler. The cabinets needs to be replaced along with the washer /dryer. My mail has been broken lock and all at least twice! Friendliness is great but I need professionals all the way around including maintenance. The work is terrible patch and go!! I would NEVER recommend this place to anyone . If your looking for a safe, clean,quite,good school district this is NOT the place. Please dont be fooled by the website photos especially of the unites!!

Jesus inside the office has been very kind in my application process. He made everything very easy and effortless. Moved in about 2 months ago and love my apartment and the pool. So happy we moved in.

If I can rate ZERO I would! Terrible maintenance request its always 3 to 4 days later! Pool closing at 5pm on weekends after a news letter stated new hours are now until 8pm. This is the worst apartments Ive ever lived in and I can wait to leave February 2022 cant come fast enough. If your looking a nice quality apartments check out montecito apartments its a lovely community.

Love this community. If I ever have a problem with anything the office is always there to help. Maintenance is always friendly, and the option to make your payment online is extremely helpful for when I travel out of town.

I got my place broken into last week, and I have not yet been able to talk to a manager to address my safety concerns. I have tried numerous times to reach out to the front office and came by there. If this is only way a manager can respond to my needs then this is upsetting. I am not even the type of person to write reviews but this case is very serious. There’s absolutely no security cameras, gates are left open throughout the day, and only one security comes and rounds once or twice and has encouraged me to bring these issues up as they are not getting paid much to be consistently here. I pay my rent on time and it’s going into a lot of these expensive fees, but I rather be paying a fee to contribute to better security system here. I have been violated, and my safety concerns must be heard as well as the several other tenants who have also had similar situations. I do not feel safe here. Cant wait to move.

Terrible management… The leasing office is a bunch of scammers. They don’t care about the tenants and never can answer questions. Don’t expect any deposit back regardless if you leave the apartment in good condition. Do yourself a favor and look somewhere else!

Management and some of the staff is exceptional. The show model apartment is impressive but the apartment that I got approved for was definitely not impressive. Too many “cosmetic” damages (e.g. vinyl floor padding peeling off in living room, baseboard painting unfinished and one area was not completely caulked, creaky floorboards, toilets, bathtubs, and the laundry dryer were dated from the 90s (I forgot Hotpoint the stove makers even made Dryers lol), calcium build up around master bedroom bathtub faucet, and there was paint smeared on the patio utility closet door. Was told by a younger leasing agent lady that these discrepancies were “cosmetic” and could be fixed while I would live there. Mentioned these issues to her and she replies with “I’m not allowed to walk around in the place with potential/current tenants” and if there was issues with the apartment that “there is a form you can fill out to make maintenance requests”. Seemed like a rushed renovation and pure laziness in my personal opinion. If the apartment is put back on market and you jack up the price as it’s sitting and collecting dust, at least make an effort to have it look and feel like the model apartment you show to potential residents. Maybe it’s time for this place to switch management companies again based on reviews (this is their 3rd time I believe) or maybe just buyout all residents, sell, knock down the entire complex, and build brand new 🤷🏽‍♀️

I have lived at Calypso for over two years now and it just keeps getting better and better. I love the location, the staff, my super large two bedroom with two walk-in closets and the fact that they accepted my Golden Retriever. I have also moved in a few of my friends to the Calypso as well so we can all enjoy the gym and laying out by the pool together. Highly recommend.

I have lived at Calypso for 21 months, and I have to say that, without a doubt, it is an absolutely fantastic place to live. The staff (especially Brandi and Tanzie!) are phenomenal, the maintenance is responsive, and the complex itself is wonderful. Ive never once had a pest problem, never once had a noise problem (and I live next to one of the two pools), and have consistently enjoyed my time here. The units are spacious, updated, and well laid out. The AC works like a dream. Parking is plentiful and the amenities are (almost) on point. If I had any hiccup whatsoever, itd be that the gym isnt cleaned on a daily basis (a must at any time, but especially during a pandemic). At most, however, thats a slight inconvenience. Its a fantastic place to live, and if I werent moving out of town Id still be living there. I am excited to be moving to what I now call home, but while I was in Las Vegas, Calypso made me feel like I was at home, too. Dont hesitate to give it a look!

Moved in because they allowed large dogs, stayed because of the family atmosphere. Tanzie and Brandi are always willing to get the job done. My a/c went out during summer and it was fixed the day of after calling the office and speaking to the ladies. GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE!

I been living here for about 7 years now and I love this place. The staff in the office are very friendly and always helpful. Jay maintenance Is an extraordinary man that I appreciate very much. He has helped me and my wife out on Numerous occasions. He always goes out of his way to make sure we are okay. Besides from that he is really good at fixing things and he does so much to keep this property in good shape.

Living at calypso has been the best. I been here for a couple of years now and i love my newly remodeled apartment. I dont plan on moving out anytime soon. If I could buy my apartment I would. The office staff are always helpful and friendly and my maintenance requests always get done fast. The only one I trust to do the job right is Jay he is by far the best maintenance man this place has since I been here.

I have lived here for 20 years. I love my apartment, the arrangement is so comfortable. My 2 little dogs love it too. The ladies in the office are so helpful and have great personalities. Yahaira has been helping me lately and she is very nice and informative. Jay in Maintenance is Great. Whenever he does anything in my apartment, its done correctly and in a timely manner. Hes so knowledgeable about this property. Thank You all for being Friendly, Pleasant and Helpful!!!!

So I had a small grill and a cooler in my patio and I got a notice for it a day or 2 after having them IN MY PATIO. But when it came to them having to put literally my entire bathroom in the patio it was ok, for over a month and a half! The reason why that happen is because we got mold so they had to take out the drawers, mirrors and toilet and set it out on the patio again for OVER A MONTH AND HALF! Heres the great part, we got mold because it took their service crew THREE WEEKS to fix a leak in the restroom that took less then 10 minutes to fix ! We pay our rent on time every month even through these hard times and it isnt cheap but just like you guys want your money I want our services to be done for that money. Very displeased since the day Ive moved in I DO NOT RECOMMEND this community at all and it was a mistake to have moved here and put my family the humility Ive had to put them through because of this place.

Terrible policies! Terrible management! We were charge twice in one month for rent with their automatic deposit. Instead of refunding us they told us they would give us a credit for the next month. Refused to give the refund even when I told them no. 60 day move out notice or you are charged for 2 months extra.

I recently moved out of Calypso due to a work promotion but I never had a bad experience while living at this property. Ive read some of the reviews and it seems like people are just angry. The pools and gym are 24 hours which is hard to find and never out of hand. The staff has events monthly and provide food and games for the residents and there families that are pretty fun. Brandi in the front office is always extremely helpful and goes above and beyond to make sure you and your family feel comfortable and have what they need. I would recommend this property to all my friends and family in Las Vegas!

Ive lived here 2 years. Just renewed my lease again and thats when the major issues started! They left me without a dryer for a month (I have 4 people living in this apartment) had a leak in the bathroom for a month which caused MOLD, they left the mold for another month which spread and had to have MAJOR renovations. They left us without our king bathroom for a month and a half. When I complained and complained, call after call, visit after visit, they just brushed me off. Absolutely unprofessional. They did absolutely nothing to even attempt to accommodate us.

UPDATE:Perhaps I spoke entirely too soon. Calypso did not keep there word with me. I submitted a 30 day notice and paid my final rent before moveout in January. I was advised by the community manager that, if I left a review, Feb. would be waived and this wouldnt be an issue in the future. Now I have a debt collector calling me and saying that I owe over 1200. This is unfair. And I was told by Brandy that the community manager made an error on my outprocessing application so I shouldnt owe anything. She has yet to contact me. This is crazy. Ive even gon up to the leasing office to speak with them directly and no progress has been made.

Do not live here, we’ve been miserable since moving in. Many issues but the most recent just really sent me over the edge. Our air conditioner was making a very loud noise that kept waking us up in the middle of the night, I put in a maintenance request for this Thursday morning before I left for the weekend, my boyfriend was still here. Never got a reply to my email or heard from them. I called them Sunday night and they said maintenance had left for the day, but they will get them over first thing in the morning. I wait until 12pm the next day and call them again because I never heard anything (again) and they said they’re on another job. Meanwhile our air conditioner is now blowing out hot air. I went to the office and they finally actually called someone to come look at it. He says he fixed it. 5 hours later we’re getting for bed and notice that it’s getting hot in here. Air conditioner not working again. We call the after hours service to let them know, nothing happens after an hour and a half of waiting, call back and they say they’ve been paging maintenance every 15 minutes and they’re not sure why they’re not answering. So now it’s 10pm and 85 degrees in our apartment. Do not live here, all the staff is absolutely horrible.UPDATE: STILL DONT LIVE HEREIm so unhappy living here. Every week its something new with this place. Whether its my air conditioning not working, the gym being closed even though it said 24/7 when I PAID for the gym key, someone parking in my parking spot that I PAY for, or them not notifying us when a package gets delivered to the office and then they let it sit there for 3 weeks. Honestly do not recommend anyone living here. Everything in the apartment is made of cheap material and breaks (then it takes forever for them to come fix it) and the office staff is very very rude. Look elsewhere if youre trying to move, youll regret moving in here just like I am no.

Looks like fake reviews to me and that’s not cool at all. Don’t lie guys. I’m posting this in hopes that other people will see too because again it’s not right, now that’s just my observation ! I want to start by saying that the office staff here is incredible. Brandi, Tanzie, Yajaira and Chelsea are helpful, kind, and prompt. It makes living in a complex that much better when you feel you can reach out with any questions/concerns and know it will be resolved ASAP. My emails are answered quickly every time. The old reviews from a few years back were when another management team worked there (I believe his name was Michael) and he worked here for a few months when we first moved in but he’s been gone for a while now so don’t worry about that dude lol.The whole maintenance team is awesome! They just switched to a new guy running it a few months ago and he’s really cool and gets everything done fast. Def nicer and more efficient than the old maintenance guy. We’ve called maintenance for a few things over the 2 years of living here and they ALWAYS fix it in a day or 2, sometimes even that same day depending on severity of the issue.I lived in the very front of the property and never really had any shenanigans going on, I can’t speak for the other side or back side of property but I loved where I lived right in the front by the round about. Sure, you hear some music loud bumpin every once in a while from cars going in/out the gate or parked out front while they grab the mail, but it was only for a few minutes and then stopped, so jam out with em for a few before they drive off lmao. All of our neighbors were friendly and cool, never too loud or disruptive.The only negatives I could try to whip up in my head is that we had to take down curtains and lights off our patio/balcony, but this was asked of every resident by corporate after they drove through the property so whatever? Gardeners come early a couple times a week, (took me a few weeks to get used to it and be able to sleep through the leaf blowers at 8 am) but it was worth it to live in a well kept, clean, and groomed property.Overall, Calypso has been nothing short of excellent and we are only moving out because of terrible job security in the restaurant biz during this pandemic. Don’t believe the reviews, they offer “chance of prize in a drawing if you leave a positive review”, therefore people are not being honest. It’s not worth lying. We had vehicles damaged, saw people jump wall at bus stop daily and grounds covered in waste. Our apt was a disaster upon move in, water on ceiling, in bathroom and several neighbors constantly fighting. I have never hated a lease so much. I am not interested in discussion with management office because they’ve done nothing to help, so don’t bother leaving generic response.

These apartments have been amazing so far! The girls in the office specifically Brandi have been so helpful! Ive talked with the lady I believe who is named Tanzie as well regarding some work orders and she was helpful also. The payment arrangements they are allowing us with the Rona going on is a lifesafer also. I cant wait until the pool, and the gym open up also!Great apartments. Will def be renewing!

Moving in during COVID was made so easy! I was so stressed at first about moving but Ms. Brandi in the leasing office made everything simple! Apartment is not put together well at all, compared to model shown it’s a 4. I had to disinfect the entire apartment from bathrooms left with urine around toilets, medicine cabinets left with bobby pens and filth, inside and outside ALL cabinets bathroom and kitchen left of stains and spills. Blinds had hairs/lint stuck to them and washing machine was filthy around the top. Like don’t they charge a cleaning deposit? As much as I cleaned this apartment before I felt comfortable they owe me, funny not funny. It seemed as if it was NOT cleaned before I moved in there. Also there are paint droppings all over the flooring, finishing on bath tubs already peeling and very tacky in 1st bathroom, counter top in kitchen full of cut marks (said there is nothing they can do about it. It’s a spray on finish sand it down and respray it like you did the 1st time), handles on cabinets already loose and I live alone. Oh and they advertise the gym as your doing the tour but don’t mention it is accessible at an additional cost, smh. Cable is not an option you paying for it rather you use it or not. Some neighbors patios smell of pet feces. Oh and my gate key doesn’t work on either gate, it twist but not enough for gate to unlock on one gate and doesn’t twist at all on other gate. I’m just not happy with what I’m paying for at all.

I love my new apartment, the front staff and the community! The front staff made it so easy from point A-Z. I honestly couldn’t have picked a better place to call home! Especially since we have many other friends moving in and or already live here.

Only reason I didn’t give it a 5 is because I have not moved in yet until Tuesday but the process was great Brandi is my leasing agent and she is such a sweet heart and very professional as well for Chelsea . I’m moving from California so you can imagine the process of making sure all the information is accurate and everything but they have made this process the smoothest for me and when I actually got a chance to meet Brandi and some of the staff very very presentable place beautiful just like the pictures . Out of all the apartments I went to . The fact that they show concern in their potential new residence speaks volumes to me . I will keep y’all updated on my stay there but so far great job calypso

I’ve only been here a couple of months but since the walk through and application process the office staff has done their best in my eyes to make things quick and easy. Especially while moving mid April 2020 during the covid-19 shut down. Doing my own research before moving in I found out about the extra fees which I’m fine with (only because I knew ahead of time). The extra fees which are non negotiable come to a total of $158.16 that includes $108.16 for Conservice plus an additional $50 cox fee for the community bundle they have. Being born and raised in Vegas I know the area so I knew before moving in I wasn’t moving into a super luxurious apartment. I expected for somethings to need fixing and that’s exactly what happened. A few things needed fixing and they came out. As long as myself and my kids are comfortable and remain that way I don’t have many complaints thus far. I definitely think that maintenance can be a little better they all seem pretty lazy. I also think people with pets or whoever is supposed to clean up after them should do so because the feces smell can be a bit overwhelming when walking past some apartments. But depending on your personal bougie level they’re not that bad. Hope this is helpful to anyone’s apartment search.

I recently extended my lease & so appreciate the ladies in office. Tanzie & Brittney helped me since my computer wasn’t working. During this whole Covid mess they were patient with my unemployment. My daily walks around property with dog are very peaceful. The young maintenance guys wave all the time (Jace & LaRue). Great experience for 3 years!

Ive moved here from Denver, CO and it is impossible to find a place that is the same size and features for the same price. I love the staff! Michael has always known my name and apt since the beginning. He is so understanding. Tanzie and Brandi always takes care of me. Love it here!!!

New management and staff have been wonderful. Really appreciate the quick response from maintenance. Everywhere you rent something goes wrong etc. but sense Calypso took over they have done a great job fixing all the old problems. Ive lived her for 6ms in plan to renew lease.

Apartment rent for 2bedroom jumped from 1,000$ or so to 1440$. It’s just wrong if you ask me how apartment complexes are raising their rent durning a pandemic. It’s greedy, selfish, and terrible.

I moved in 2 months ago. Not only did they make the leasing process easy and informitive. The customer service is great. They are really prompt in response to my requests if I call, come in to the office or E-mail them. I feel I made a great decision moving into Calypso.

The rent is really high and they have fees for trash valet which is mandatory. Water, sewage, and trash is very high. Plus you have to pay for cable and outdoor lighting and pest control. The paint in the apartments fall apart as well as the paint in sinks and bathtubs. People litter and people do not pick up after dogs.

Since living in Oasis Gateway, Ive notice tons of things that should be taken in consideration. I have many complaints. But my complaints are only directed to the management.The fact that the apartment is crawling with homeless and drug abusers isnt my complaint. The fact that trash and dog feces can be spotted throughout the entire apartment borderline isnt my complaint and the fact that pool and mail room is overwhelmed with paper and dirt is also not my biggest complaint. Those things can happen anywhere you live. My biggest complaint is that management is aware of it and does nothing, ABSOLUTELY nothing to prevent or prepare residents from them.I havent been there long and within that time Ive seen at least 3 managers come and go. I have been disappointed time and again when asking for maintenance request only to be brushed off and promised services that dont get completed until months later. It seems as if the management only cares about getting new people in the units and not about any of the current tenants. If the manager, owner, mayor or even president of the united states is reading this, for Gods sake, PLEASE ATTEND TO YOUR CURRENT TENANTS.

Thank You Everyone for saving me from all the headaches, Anyway tenants you have rights too .You can always file a lawsuit and take them to court as long as you have evidence in writing.

Looks are deceiving. This company pretends to be high end and theyre not. They will charge you all this extra money when you move out. We kept the apartment spotless, even got the cigarette smell from the previous tenant out( would have been charged for that too had we not). We also cleaned it before we left and then we were charged 220 extra dollars in utilities and cleaning. Considering utilities total each month were roughly 50 dollars, thats definitely some BS. Also, instead of contacting us they contacted a collection agency a month later to bill us all of the sudden. Dont recommend. They just want to steal from their residents.

DO NOT MOVE INTO THIS COMPLEX. I was hypnotized by the reasonable rent and large space, but the management makes this place unbearable. Ive lived here for 3 years and have seen a lot of management companies come and go in that time period. And now that Greystar has taken over its only gotten worse. They have spent 3 months renovating that stupid office where you cant seem to get anyone on the phone. Meanwhile, theyre computer system is overcharging tenants for utilities and theres no way to fix it online. You have to go in the office. NEWSFLASH, most people work 9-5 and dont have the time to come into your office to fix a problem that YOU created. I should have moved out of this place after I had to switch units due to flooding issues, but I didnt. Now Im regretting it big time. No worries though, as soon as this lease is up, I AM GONE. I would never recommend this place to anyone.

I dont recommend this place the scorpions are outta control there. My service dog got bitten by a scorpion. They dont spray for scorpions with spray designed for scorpions. I said I was putting in my notice to move because my service dog got bit and they said that wasnt a reason to move and tanzie is the one that told me. Also I am a combat veteran and have a letter from the VA to have a service dog due to my PTSD. Also the pool was open 24 hours a day and people at night would be making alot of noise.

I wouldnt recommend anyone to live here. When we received the apartment the maintenance and cleaning wasnt even great. There were so many issues and we notified them but they only fixed two things that took almost a whole month.We were understanding to why things werent fixed right away, brushing it off. Once the new year hits they started charging extra for services we didnt even had on the contract. We still paid the rent on time with the whole payment and everything. We werent the type of residents to complain about everything till the washer broke down. We literally had to call 4 times and they wouldnt believe us that it wasnt working well. Why would we lie? So we had to take video and pictures to show them till they finally fixed the problem. We moved out once the lease was over. My husband gives them our forwarding address, phone number and of course they have our emails so Calypso cod sent us the final bill Two months later we get a call from the collection letting us know that we been sent to collection for not paying the bill that Calypso has sent us. We didnt receive any notifications when they clear told us they will sent it to us, no need for us to go back to them. Yes I am upset because we paid everything on time even though the rent was going up and we left the apartment better then when we received it.There is a dog poop problem and oh the gym isnt included but dont worry they say it is till you go ask about the key and thats when they let you know its a 50$ fee and the pools were green for majority of the summer.

Health code violations ignored throughout lease, security and safety problems, unjustified charges and fees upon moved out, no management accountability, these are some of the amenities offered at the Oasis Gateway. Run far far away if you want to enjoy your living areas and prefer not to be robbed. To many choices in Vegas to deal with this old dump and the companies it bounces through.

1st review in 2018...My daughter just moved here, we love it. Nice staff, helpful. Water heater busted I had no idea, maintenance showed up unannounced scared hell out of me at least phone ahead. But less than 30 minutes management had brand new water heater installed plumbers were very nice and expedient with repair.Beautiful place I have not seen scorpions yet nor dog poo.2019( April 7th)👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎✅So a year later I changed to 1 star.The units are furnished with washer and Dryer, The appliances are all used, the washer stopped spinning, how do you wash ypur clothes for work, with no spin cycle🙄?For 3 weeks my daughter was promised by management a replaced or new washer. Michael in management has ignored all request, lying about when will be replaced. My daughter is rarely home, no kids, in school and A Nurse, but has to go to laundry mat to wash her clothes. She pays lots of rent compared to some apartments with same amenitiesCalypso makes too much money not to replace broken down used appliances.

I dont know how you guys get away with charging fees that were never stipulated on the lease for being late on rent. What is worse is when asked to provide a breakdown of what is being charged the new management company claims that they can not look back in our resident profile to provide a breakdown. 230 $ for two separate months in addition to the initial 85$ +5$ each day rent is late. Are you intentionally trying to make it so we cant afford our rent... we paid the fees but my god how do you recover from paying 500+$ not anticipated. To make things even worse... they misplace our money orders then demand payment for the misplaced monies again. Am i missing something? Is this what people mean when they say Las Vegas is Pro Landlord. Stay away from this place they are crooks.

I have occupied this apartment since May 2016. They have changed owners 3 times since living here, which isnt the problem. The inconveniences you are causing us tenants is ridiculous. First, the valet trash. We were grandfathered into it and then at lease renewal its an additional $25 a month, even if you do not use the service. Thats annoying. Then you have to pay for property electricity, and other stupid fees. Which were never there. With all these additional fees, our children should have a decent playground, our gym should have more machines, our complex should look cleaner. If the extra money was benefiting my living area, i would be all for it. I have never paid rent late since living there..EVER. The latest I have ever paid rent is on the 1st. Now if i want to pay online i have to pay an additional $4 to pay bc the portal does not accept payments before the 28th..ok..but if i bring my payment into the office so i dont have to wait that long its an additional $25 processing fee? When in the hell did it cost to process a check? Is that if it bounces? This is ridiculous and extremely inconvenient. Pinnacle management charges for absolutely everything. It is a joke. Corporations run their business by getting as much money as they can and make up fees. I work for one myself. The office has to follow the company policies bc i do the same at my job, but hopefully someone at corporate will see this and realize that their policies need to be revisited.
