This place is AMAZING. Only nail salon in Knoxville where my gel manicure stayed on for over two weeks. Hong did my nails and I will definitely be going back faithfully. They are the best!

My wife was very, very happy. She is very tender and is always concerned about being cut or hurt. This was a good experience.

Mimi and Hong are meticulous with their nail services - my dip manicures and regular nail polish pedicures have never lasted as long as they do when they’re done by Tippy Toes. Love chit-chatting with them too - I look forward to their humor and warmth each visit!

Mimi and Hong are great! My mom and I drive 30 minutes to get our nails done by them! They provide the best quality nail service in Knoxville! We very much appreciate their policy on making an appointment because we know we will be taken care during that time and provided the best service! Love this salon for all my nail design needs. The staff here are always so sweet and make their customers feel so comfortable and welcomed. I always am so happy with my acrylic or dip nails and they do it to where it lasts and doesn’t awkwardly start peeling up at the bottom like when I go to other places in the area that don’t take their time to do a good job

I’ve been seeing Mimi and Hong for a long time, and I love them and their work! They’re each extremely detail-oriented and I always feel pampered when I’m in their salon. I get the gel manicures (which last for weeks, Mimi does a pristine job) and the spa pedicures (Hong always does amazing work). It’s clean and I feel welcome as well as respected. I can not recommend them enough!

I came to visit my daughter from Massachusetts. I have my usual girl back home for my acrylic nails. Mimi did an amazing job fixing my nails! Very attentive to details. Hong also did my pedicure. He took his time, they came out amazing! The two were fun to be with. We ended up being for 3 hours with 3 pedicures and 3 dipping acrylic and get nails. I would never had guessed that much time had gone by. We laughed, told jokes, and catches up on Greys Anatomy, and a glass of wine!! 😁😁 I would definitely recommend this cute little salon. You will be sure to get the best nails!!!

Love, love, love tippy toes! Found this gem about 2 years ago and haven’t gone anywhere else since! I know my nails will always look good when they are done. I get my nails done every 2-3 wks! My eyebrows are always on point too!

As someone who gets pedicures and gel manicures regularly, I wouldnt be able to recommend somewhere more than I could Tippy Toes. Mimi and Hong create a fun and relaxing atmosphere and do an amazing job! They always remember you, even after your first visit, and after going here for months I feel very at home and look forward to getting to see everyone. If youre looking for a local nail salon where you get excellent service and a great environment, this is it!

I’ve never had a single issue! I refuse to get my nails done anywhere else. Mimi and Hong run the most professional, amicable, and talented nail salon in Knoxville.

They did everything good, perfect and clean but a little bit pricy for a pedicure with gel and they charged my mom $35 for a change of color.... I would think it would be like $15/20

I am giving three stars. My nails look great but I took my 5 year old because they specifically offer a princess manicure/pedicure for children. I wont take her there again. Hong, the Male who did her nails, was rude to her and kept making threatening comments like If you move then I wont paint your toenails kind of comments. She was not overly hyperactive, she is 5 and was so excited about this. Of course she wanted to look at them and coaching was needed but he was incredibly rude about it. This was a HUGE treat for her and she, instead, got spoken to like trash. Wont be back.

Tippy Toes is without a doubt the best nail salon in the greater Knoxville area. The shop is clean, tastefully decorated, and located super conveniently in the Bearden locale of Western Plaza. I’ve ventured to many nail salons during my tenure in Knoxville, (roughly 7 years) and Tippy Toes is the only one of which I’ve become a continuous patron. I used to bounce around to whatever place was closest and most convenient when I needed my nails done. NOT ANYMORE! Mimi and Hong do a fantastic job. They offer the highest end products, and their work truly lasts ! My gel lasts for a minimum of 3 weeks! I could stretch it longer if my cuticles didn’t need alllllll the love. They’re very professional, but also treat everyone they’ve met like a part of their little Tippy Toes Family ! I legitimately will not go anywhere else. I love that it’s a family owned, small business and as a result you get very personalized, hands on attention. I get the biggest kick out of their front desk girls Sarah and Ann as well! They’re always making someone laugh, and getting my nails done there is a truly enjoyable and sometimes (after a long day at work) therapeutic experience ! They very rarely can accommodate walk- ins, because they’ve amassed quite the following; so make sure you call in advance to schedule an appointment or use their online scheduling feature!

Tippy Toes Salon and Spa always exceeds my expections. Anytime I want to feel pampered, I know the staff is there to make it happen and assure their customers are happy when they walk out. Book an appointment with one of their experienced nail artists for your manicures or a spa pedicure (and they’re always gentle)! Facials are so relaxing here too and they even have refreshments! My sister has been a loyal customer of Hong and Mimi for quit sometime. Unfortunately she found out today that her loyalty is not appreciated nor valued! This comes as quite a surprise to her as she has referred myself and many others helping Mimi and Hong grow their new business! Any successful business owner knows that you are not a business unless you have clients and you wont have clients unless you value and appreciate those who give you business especially in a competitive service filled industry! Today my sister had an appointment scheduled and she was so excited as her schedule finally aligned with Mimi and Hongs! Unfortunately due to downtown traffic and road work which we all have experienced and is out of our control she ran into the possibility but not a guarantee that she would be running behind schedule! As a respectful loyal customer she reached out to Tippy Toe Nails not bc she was running late but because she respects their business and time. However she was greeted by a unprofessional girl who brashly informed her that although she has never been late before, despite her loyalty, her valued business and her respectful judgement to reach out in advance should she run 10 mins behind schedule she will be charged an very unreasonable fee and potentially risk tippy toes canceling her appointment! I personally was amazed at how this situation was being handled by individuals who specialize in providing a service! I can only assume that with a decision of this nature that they have so many clients that they don’t need her business or anyone else’s for that matter! Unfortunately for Mimi and Hong this was a very bad judgment call and business decision which not only affects your reputation as a business but also your income! Fortunately for my sister nail salons are a dime a dozen in Knoxville. We are over ran with them so the options are unlimited for her! Unfortunately for Mimi and Hong what they don’t understand is that in order to survive in a competitive service industry you have to do something to set yourself aside from your competition! You all most definitely did something today to set yourself aside from your competition however it wasn’t something that’s going to help you grow your business! As a business owner myself I am a very huge supporter of locally owned businesses however I understand the upmost importance in providing a level of service to your clients that’s unparalleled and I do not feel confident in Tippy Toes ability to provide this type of service to their clients! I called and set up an appointment for my girlfriend and prepaid for the service over the phone. She had to reschedule on the first appointment because she got called into work and on the second appointment she went ahead and canceled it because she had to pickup another shift. They would not refund any of the money that they charged me for the full service even though no services were recieved. Bad business in my opinion. Will not ever see business from me again and will never recomend to any one else.

Recently visited and had the worst experience with Mimi. Incredibly rude person, not to mention she made my services painful. Will never return nor recommend.
