Solar nails is the spot. It took about 3 other salons to find this gem. They always do a great job and take their time. 1000% recommended.

I want to start by saying the customer service was wonderful! All of the staff I interacted with was very kind and happy to help. Even when I was looking for a pretty specific nail polish they were happy to help find the perfect one! I made sure to tip well because of this.But I have to say they are NOT sanitary. None of the tools used on me were pulled out of sterile packaging nor were they just fresh tools. I got a set of acrylics and the files, buffers and drill bits used all had debris from previous use. My cuticles were nicked with the drill bits as well. After they applied the acrylic my nail beds started burning which means they most likely filed my natural nails too thin when prepping them.Overall I absolutely cannot recommend going here. It isn’t following extremely basic and simple guidelines.

Kim is THE BESSSST nail technician hands down. She is a perfectionist, thats why Ive been consistently getting my nails done there for years! Very friendly & clean environment. Definitely recommend!

Would not recommend! Was not acknowledged when I walked into the salon, no one spoke. Waited 40 minutes was never asked what I wanted.I’f you’re looking for quality customer service this is NOT THE PLACE ! HOWEVER Iwould recommend sassy nails right down the street.

They were really nice people and even though we waited a while she did my gel manicure pretty quickly. My only complaint is that I witnessed the lady rince off the tools with water and then put them in the blue sanitary bag to reuse. That is disgusting! They are not properly sanitizing the tools but putting them in the bags so they LOOK sanitized.

Nails look fantastic! I got a pedicure too. It is beautiful. The nail tech was kind and welcoming. The solar was very clean and tidy!

Do not patronize this business. I went here to get a manicure and pedicure and the manicurist cut my cuticle with the tool when he was buffing my nails. I printed out that he had cut my cuticle and he sat there and said nothing. One of my acrylic nails had a small thin hair that settled in it and I did not notice it until we were done. I pointed it out and the nail tech seemed irritated looked at his phone and told me I dont think so. Another employee then came over to see what was going on and told me that the hair was probably under my nail. It was not. They literally went back and forth with me for a while insisting that there was nothing under my nails. After about 10 minutes of going back and forth the manicurist redid my nail. I will never be back. I was horrified that I had to argue to get my nail redone. I will never patronize this business again and would advise anyone else to beware because the customer service at this business is non existent!

Came for a French tip pedicure. The employee was super welcoming over the phone. They closed at 730 technically, but he encouraged me to still come when I called at 7. They were packed! Despite this, I was seated and started within 5 minutes of arriving with no appointment.They did a great job, I felt super relaxed and I cant say enough good. Will definitely be here again.

Got me in as a walk in quickly but the lady who did my nails was not attentive or thorough. It’s 2 days later and my polish is chipping already. I asked her to make sure my toe nails were even and when they weren’t she blamed me but it’s not an issue I’ve ever had at any other shop. I will not be going back for any services.

Prices weren’t exact so they kept having to be repeated to me. The lady that did marble on a couple of my nails didn’t really know what she was doing and she kept trying and removing and trying and removing several times. I also asked to get dipped powder because my body has some sort of chemical reaction to the acrylic and my fingers start to burn. However, my nails were never dipped into the powder, it seemed very much like a normal acrylic, I was unsure at first about how it was to be done because I’d only gotten dipped powder done once and it was at a different salon, so I didn’t mention it but now I know and I feel like that was kind of messed up. Luckily only one finger burned for only a short period of time. In conclusion, the set ended up being $45.

My feet were in a fight... Yikes! I wont go back... Sorry to say. Went for a pedicure. Nice shop, the people were great. But two days later, Im still limping... Yeah, enough of that.

Reserved pedi for 3 people, we came there 2 mins before our reservation time, but they are so short handed, they told us we have to wait for 30 mins for us to be seated.And the man that told us that keep telling EVERYONE that just got there after us that they have 30 mins wait.We are so confused the whole time because they only started doing my pedi first, so my husband and our friend just tried to enjoy their old massage chair that barely works.We thought the lady that doing my nails will be doing theirs too cause it’s been a bit no one is sitting to start their pedi.So we waited it’s been more than 30 mins FINALLY someone started our friend’s pedi, until he got done my husband is still waiting for someone to do his.More than an hour later someone tried to do my husband’s pedi, well we have to cancel it cause it’s been a long wait.Won’t recommend to do reservations here cause they don’t really prioritize it.Super old massage chair, looks gross and barely works.Please don’t accept reservations if you can’t do it. People have other stuffs to do too.We are here for almost 3 hours NOT WORTH IT.We won’t be coming back.

The wait today was about 20 minutes long. Despite the wait time, they sat me in the massage chair. There I was relax until it was my turn. Everyone was nice and friendly, very fast, organized, consistent with making sure each customer was pampered with proper care. I loved how my nails and feet came out. Even touch up my eyebrows. Been coming here since it open so far no issues.

Made an appointment and showed up on time but no one even acknowledged me when I walked in. When I finally spoke up and told them I had an appointment they said it would take 1 hr. So making the appointment was pointless.

They have a high volume of customers and no longer care about the quality of their work.. my daughter, a few of her friends, myself whom bring guest with me sometimes were all faithful customers howeverwe will not be going back. they use to be my favorites very very disappointing because they have the talent but choose not to render quality service

I started seeing Henry at a different location, prior to him selling it. I’m originally from California so I often like my nails in different fashionable ways. Henry had become a friend. He TRULY cares about his customers happiness and works tirelessly to make his customers happy. I have now followed him to Solar Nails which is a distance for me but so worth it. The prices reflect the quality of work. He gets to know his customers so well. Example, he knows I hate selecting colors so I’ll give him an idea and he will work to select the correct colors. I know no one else in the 16-17 years I’ve been getting my nails done that does a better job. When he isn’t around, I see Liu, who was trained by Henry. He’s amazing too. The salon is clean, they do their best to mainly speak English in front of customers which I love. It’s a great salon!

Love this place!! Been here over a year now! I used to go here and here but now Im there twice a month Henry always gets me right! One morning he did a full set for me before I went to work!! And they were still great! I will not go anywhere else! They do cost a little more but for the quality it is better than the usual 30$ full sets others provider and ur nails start lifting in a week my nails never have ever once came off and even one time I had them for 4 weeks still not one nail lifted!!! Love this place!! Live the people super nice! Right now for the holidays u get a free bottle of lotion Everytime u go! Love it

If I could rate this place no stars I would. I got a pedicure here and it was the worst pedicure I’ve ever had in my life. My two big toenails are both dented in as he drilled them uneven; they are literally lumpy. There was polish all on my skin he didn’t even bother to clean it up and not to mention the guy was making fun of my feet. I will never return to this place.

Called a few minutes before walking in. They were able to see me right away. It’s noon on a Sunday.Here for a pedicure. She had me dip me feet in the moment I sat. Put my feet in and there were chunks of stuff like lotion and other things already in the tub!! I showed her and she right away out my feet back up and bleached the tub and rinsed with hot water, no scrubbing.Gag! I have a razor cut on my ankle from shaving. I hope I don’t get an infection. 😷BUT they did a great job. I’m sure that was just an oversight.Their basic package included a salt scrub and she massed me with oil! Haven’t gotten that great of treatment anywhere else! And she was a Great conversation.

The salon was clean and nice looking and the prices were great but the technicians were a little stand-off. They spent most of the time I was there talking and giggling in a different language and ignored me and the other lady that was there. My nails turned out just fine, except the technician was a little aggressive and cut my cuticles all up, causing 3 of them to bleed. Basically, the salon was okay. Im from St. Louis so I wont be going back, but it got the job done at the time.

Kim did a fantastic job. Its very difficult for me to find a good acrylic fill place because I mess with my nails all the time so they dont usually last two weeks, but with Kim they lasted three! Ive found my nail home!

Whenever I go in to get my nails done or my eyebrows waxed there is rarely ever a wait longer than 5 min and every time I leave this salon I am happy with the work they do. All of the technicians seem to have experience and are friendly.

I was treated really badly, They were very rough during the pedicure. Aswell as very unprofessional. When I was getting my pedicure done I also observed they didn’t clean the seat next to me which is disgusting because they quickly sat someone down. During the process of allowing my feet to dry the flip flops that they provide ripped and I asked for a new pair, he grabbed one flip flop from the used(trash pile) and offered it to me as if I was a joke! So unprofessional I hate it.

I appreciate the service on my free new set of gel polish last night.However, I thought the nail technician said Id get a free gel pedi since my sister and I just had our nails done on Saturday. Mind you she paid a good amount of $ for our gel mani/ pedi set. And the polish already chipped. I walked around the salon barefoot and the person who did my nails never once said oh no free gel pedi until after he finished my gel mani.Ridiculous! Especially since he offered the free service after I told him I wanted the gel polish removed. Also I got tossed around from one nail tech to the next. So I was confused. And not to mention hurried although I arrived before you closed at 7:30 pm. And please dont call me honey to the technician who redid my mani.

Kim is amazing. I have reoccurring appointments with her and she always knocks the designs I want out of the park! Im not sure how to include pictures but she has posted many of my nails on their Instagram page. The ladies are all very nice. I find that I get in and out in a timely manner every time with nails to die for. I have been to quite a few salons and have experienced some terrible service or results. I have been going to Kim for months and have gone to this salon in the past. At this point I swear by it.

I’ve been receiving service from Vy since I first visited the salon with my friend, beginning in September. I have gone every other week and always schedule an appointment. Vy is always prepared for my arrival and does an excellent job. She does EXACTLY what I ask for when it comes to the shape, length, and color of my nails and will provide other suggestions if she thinks another color would look better than one I may have chosen. A nice, quiet place to enjoy being pampered by friendly staff. When I had a nail break within a week of an acrylic fill, they fixed the nail without hesitation or an argument. I will continue visiting the salon and have referred others.

Under my husbands name. But definitely wont go back here again. Henry was his name that did my nails and he made my acrylic nails thin and didnt even paint the whole nail. I got a light color so they look even worse 2 weeks later. My toes done by someone else also look horrible. They chipped right away and the lady also didnt paint my entire nail. Its horrible. Women pay them good money for what we want and they Dont give it to you. Ive been getting my nails done for 10 years and this place is by far the worse place Ive ever been too.

Good work and kind staff but everytime I go they charge me more than the quoted price. This has happened atleast 4 times. I will be changing nail salons.

While my best friend took me here for a pre-birthday manicure and eye/lip wax, I will never return (personally). The lady who did my nails started out by doing the first nail completely wrong from what I requested, including the color, and then when she painted them all and started on the tips, she did not listen to what I requested, even after I showed her a picture of what I wanted. Honestly, I wasnt asking for something high maintenance. I wanted white nails with royal blue at the very edge. Not like a french manicure with a thick tip, but a very slender line. The manicurist next to me was doing something very similar with excellent technique and I pointed to her work and said thats what I wanted in style. But no, instead she just kept going and when I said it wasnt at all what I wanted, she said that she had already started and that we would have to completely start over to get the effect. Now, this really pissed me off, because I made it clear what I wanted, showed pics, pointed out the correct technique -- I was not asking for a design, I was asking for a flipping tip job! My nails look awful. To top it off... its gel. And it hasnt been one week yet. and two nails are completely gone. I havent gardened, played sports, or done anything but my desk job. So much for lasting. Finally, when I got my lip/eyebrow wax, I ended up with an overwhelming lip irritation on both sides. The day before my birthday. Awesome. While I dont blame them for my skin sensitivity, it really just finished the experience off in a totally negative way for me, no blame on them for that, but definitely following the crappy nail experience. I would love my money back for this awful, awful experience. With tip, which I probably shouldnt have given, but I have a conscience, it was $65. Never. Going. Back. Sad, too, because this place has good reviews.

Solar Nails newly opened in the Westport area. Is a GREAT spot for Nails, Feet, Eyebrow waxing. They have two shops, the other is located in Belton, MO.(Access Nails). They specialized in the latest Nail art. Service is Wonderful and very Professional. Henry & Kim are the owners. I have been with them for the past 6 years, every two weeks. Have you ever gotten acustom to one particular person to do your nails? Ill admit I was one of those person. Henry went on vacation and I had to accept someone else doing my nails that day, I had and event coming up soon and it couldnt wait for Henry to come back. Well I must say I was very pleased with the work that another employee(Lu) done. What a Nice & Pleasant atmosphere! Love you guys! Shay

Very rude and racist. Me and my friends had been waiting 10 minuets when a white woman came in they served her before us and then when another walked in they served her immediately while me and my friends still waited no one apologized or said anything so we all left.

DISAPPOINTED!!! highway robbery! the nail tech was so rough & she didn’t take her time at ALL. i asked her to take her time & that she was hurting me. she replied, “you have sensitive skin.” ..... quantity over quality for sure cuz they straight got me for $40 STILL. thumbsssss down.

Faithful customer extremely disappointed. Walked in for a FILL at 4pm and they had maybe 4 people who were getting their nails done and only 1 other perosn was waiting or so that’s what it seemed like, while 3 people who are nail techs were sitting around. And they refused service.. They don’t close until 5pm.

Dont go there! Overpriced for poor quality work! I got half a pedicure for $26. And butchered nails for $28. This place is awful youd be better off going to the Landing for this poor quality bullcrap. I really wish they had a big flashing red warning sign when you look this place up

Worst. Manicure. Ever. After 3 days, my dip manicure was peeling and chipping. I went back and they fixed it, but not without being rude in the process. Now, less than 24 hours after being fixed, one of my nails has completely peeled yet again. Awful service, awful product. Will not return.
