I guess i should of checked the reviews before . . Trying to get a pedicure for vacation and was denied service. We walked in at 6:05 asked for a pedicure. The two salon people were finishing up with two people already and there was no one else waiting. The man looked at the woman and schooled his head no. She then proceeded to tell us they were closed very rudely . Their website however says they close at 7:30 on a Saturday and their door says 7. Their open sign was also still on. Needless to say we won’t be trying them again. I do not recommend this nail salon.

Wife wanted to get her nails done and honestly, as a guy, never had mine touched up. I looked like a million bucks nail wise and it wasnt even weird being the only guy just getting his nails cut and treated with stuff to make them stronger and look perfect. She loves it and I can say, from her female perspective, she thought they did an amazing job for her also.

If in North Kansas City I recommend VIP Nail Salon just 3mins away!!!Manager (male) by the name of Cody (I believe) is EXTREMELY RUDE and unbelievably unprofessional.A younger woman did my gel nail fill and rushed the paint job, although she was not rude. Nails were not evenly coated and extremely transparent when held against the light. When I kindly asked the woman to fix, the MANAGER let out a big gasp and sigh as of my request was bothering him. He began speaking in Vietnamese and walking/pacing fastly in the background and I became extremely uncomfortable. It seemed that the woman doing my nails became uncomfortable as well because that’s her manager.At the end when the woman was taking my payment she quoted a price that was slightly higher than what (that same) manger quoted me when I walked in and he immediately came over talking “at” me instead of acknowledging that he misquoted me in the beginning. I paid the full price simply because I wanted to get out of there and feared for my safety.1 week later and my nails are lifting. Worst experience ever.Extremely hostile and unprofessional. TRUST ME.

I called to see about a full set at 3:30 was rudely told price said was closed and hung up. Website says they close at 5:00. Wouldn’t go there

I had a horrible experience with my nails. They are unevenly shaped and the polish is a joke. When I tried to guide the manicurist and make recommendations, they were extremely short-tempered and rude (the manicurist and the manager). Ridiculous.The manager stands the whole time in the background with his arms cross as if he’s just watching and waiting for a customer to say something. Uneasy vibes.

Went to this salon last night and got a manicure, pedicure and eyebrow wax, and I WILL NEVER go back! Looked at my nails very closely today and they looked worse than if I would have done them myself. My eyebrows are embarrassing, one is longer than the other. My pedicure experience was terrible, the gentlemen kept trying to pop my toes even when I told him I didnt like it. I have never had my toes popped during a pedicure. My heels are still bad and look like I didnt get a pedicure. Look closely at the pictures and see how bad my toes look especially my big toes. I could have done a better job. My manicure if that is what you call it, consisted of him having me put my hands in a bowl of warm water and that is it! Look at the pictures of my nails and see that you can see through because he didnt paint them well at all and you can tell that the colors dont match at all! Unreal and I paid $85.00 for all of this and then gave a $23.00 cash tip and now I will have to pay another place to fix my nails because I cant wear open toes shoes with my polish looking that bad! Very disappointing!

The place was clean and relaxing. I dont get my nails done regularly and The manager was very helpful and patient while I decided whether or not to get the powder dip or a gel manicure.A young lady did my nails. She was a little rough cutting away the cuticle and actually cut my finger.However, over all the service was good and it was inexpensive. I plan to go back next week.

Ive been here several times and always had a great experience. During the pandemic they actually renovated the inside and it is clean with limited people inside. Will continue to use. Recommend making an appt.

I chose this place based on location and recent reviews. I was only charged $35 for my manicure and for my daughters nails to get polished. The two guys working were very friendly and patient. My four year old picked out ten separate colors that she wanted on each finger. The man painting her nails was so nice to her and kept asking her which color she wanted for each finger. That alone made this out new go-to spot! When I paid my bill I accidentally and unknowingly handed over $60 instead of $40. While I was fishing out another $5 from my wallet (so my daughter could hand it to the guy that painted her nails) he told me that I accidentally over paid and handed me $20 back! I didnt even notice that I had overpaid and he was honest enough to give me the money back!! All in all, we had a wonderful experience from the moment we walked in the door until we left. We HIGHLY recommend and will definitely be returning!!

I definitely loved it here. They made me feel so comfortable. The man that did my nails did an amazing job. The complete staff was friendly and the custimers were friendly too. I would definitely go back to them.

Save your time and money. Terrible experience. The nail techs cut both me and my daughters fingers on several different times with their files. I got my nails done on a Friday. One nail broke Saturday morning and 3.5 others broke on that Sunday. I went in to notify them on Monday and was told that it was not their fault. Terrible nail experience. They rush and dont care about the quality of their work. My daughter and I will no longer patronize KC Nails salon.

In town from Baltimore and one of the girls recommend KC Nails. After reading the reviews I was nervous. Kobe took great care of me. I got fill ins and gel polish and they are Beautiful. 35.00 is cheap for me. Got a new spot when I come back to KC.

I would give this place no stars if I could. I have called ahead and asked if they had time and was told yes and when arriving 3 minutes later they said they were closed over an hour before the posted hours on the door. They have since then turned off the open sign upon me getting out of the car while walking to do the door. Again well before posted hours. Then again today I asked if they could remove the gel polish and was turned away saying they were closed when the open sign was on. Do not recommend at all.

They are quick, friendly, and did a nice job on gel manicure n regular pedicure. Added an extra 10 minute foot/leg massage and it was more than worth it.

My first time going to this nail salon and I didn’t have a good experience. Went to get my toes painted and my current nail set soaked off and they told they couldn’t offer me services because it was by appointment only. It’s a public nail salon with public hours. They were not closing because I arrived at 5:30pm and they don’t close until 7pm but still continued to tell me the nail salon was by appointment only. I wasn’t displeasing or rude or outrageous, I simply walked in and told them what services I needed and they told me I wouldn’t able too because of their rules “appointment only”. Also, he told me that it would take too long to soak my acrylic nails off so he didn’t want to do it. Wow, something that takes no more than 25 minutes.

Started going here about 2 months ago and love it! They know what they are doing and are so friendly! I had to take my son with me one day and they were so nice and friendly to him! I will not go anywhere else but here! 💅🏽💅🏽💅🏽

They make you feel like you’re bothering them when you go in there to get anything done. I used to come here all the time, and now they’re so passive aggressive about people coming in, that I’ll never go in. Totally embarrassed when I brought in two new costumers to them this afternoon. We actually left and went somewhere else.

Went there today (sun jan 19). I would never recommend this place to anybody I paid $130 on pedi and full sit. And by the time I got home mine you I was only home about an hour two hours all the diamonds on my pinky finger fell off they didn’t take the time to clean and shape my nails properly and granted I got there at 3:40 and they close at 5 they shouldn’t have said they could do what I wanted if they were going to rush through and do a horrible job.

I used to love this place, but they made my acrylics so lifted this time. And she didn’t give my gel time to finish drying so I left with sticky nails 🤦‍♀️

I went in for a manicure. Decided I would try having my nails dipped. Waited twenty minutes. That was fine. The manicure however was not. I asked not to have my cuticules trimmed. I guess that included theres of the manicure also. There was no oil or anything else. Then the color was not the color I picked. Because I had never had a dip before I couldnt tell till it was too late. Please dont go there.They are no longer Q nails and the quality shows. My nails are bumpy and uneven. I will however recommend Ninas Nails on North Oak by 152. They do good job at a good price. The people are welcoming. The servit is great.

I love these people the owner of that place is the best he has no attitude and he is so nice about things so make sure you guys ask for him because he is so awesome and also I love how they make you feel like you are at home he is the best!!

I am very hard to please and am very hard on my nails. They are not the cheapest more do they have the beat customer service but they put on an amazing set of nails that you cant get off Ive decided to switch styles so was going to wait for them to start to come off. They are still on a month and a half later! Thats some solid work and the designs they can do, Amazing!! I rather pay more and have solid work sometimes you get what you pay for!

This place used to be really great, but they changed owners last month and its horrible.1st I asked if one of the girls who usually do my eyebrows can do them, and the guy told me anyone could do them. According to him, hes been in the business for 20 years and knows everything about eveeything, so had his wife do them. She made them really small and uneven. I looked like a freak.Then, the entire time he was doing my nails, he was just blabbing on and on about himself and how he fired this old lady that used to work there and she wasnt fast enough and how he knew what was best for me.My nails used to look perfect every time I went there. When the new owner did them, they looked like I had done them myself. Im not going back to this place- its horrible.

This is new salon KC Nails Spa 8. I went to this salon and got myself a pedicure.They had great service, a clean salon, and they did a great job on my nails. I recommend coming to this salon.

Q nails used to be the only place I would go to get my nails, toes and eyebrows done. I refuse to go back now after the new owners started running the place.I went in to get gel nail polish (used to be $18) a pedicure ( $35) and my eyebrows done. ( $12) The man doing my nails just kept adding and adding things even when I told him no. $155 dollars later and my nails looked terrible. I was in a wedding the next day, and was very very disapointed with the outcome.The owners wife did my eyebrows and made them super thin, which is exactly what I asked her not to do. They looked terrible.It was a very unpleasant experience.

The new owners do not honor their product and services. They encouraged me to pay the higher price for the new SNS nails. The top coat was coming off in a few days. They filed the top coat off and applied more. The result was faded color and mismatched nails. They had two chances. I requested a refund and they would not give me one saying it was my fault and the polish was not coming off. They did offer to try again, but after the unprofessional way I was treated, I no longer want them touching my nails.

I got the 35 dollar pedi. Which is supposed to include a massage. The lady was in such a hurry, she didnt do it. Then said she didnt have time. They offer children pedicures, and they were upset my girls were with me. The prices are very high, and the quality is very poor. I will not return. Poor customer service.

My word! One of THE most awful nail shops I’ve ever had to experience in my life! My male tech was the worse ever. He was rough, impatient and seemed irritable that I was there. Ugh. A waste of money for a mani, pedi and eye brow appointment. I will never go there again.

Horrible service, I asked the woman to make my nails shorter because they were barley cut off she ignored me and didnt say anything. She just continued to do my nails whatever way she wanted. She rushed through my nails and I told her they looked a little uneven she told me not yet but never fixed them. Do not spend your money here! Ill never be going back, my nails are so bad Im going somewhere else tomorrow to get them redone.

First off I noticed they get really irritated if once you have asked for one thing if you sit down and ask to add things its not ok. And then unfortunately I went in and they were lacking staff so because of that my person kept having to get up and help clients. And I paid for a mani and pedi that was not done right. Now as far as the nails go there are a couple of things I didnt like but there were ok. Then even though he knew that he was able to sit and work they way he should and would they charged me a butt load. I will not be returning.
