I have been coming here exclusively for almost a year. Tammy is my technician, but all of the employees are fantastic. Booking is super easy ahead of time, but they are very busy! So walk-ins might have to wait. They are very fast though! I get dip nails. Below is after 2.5 weeks (pink) and fresh set (blue).Love this place!!!

Never rushed and or feel uncomfortable. Every nail techinician is professional and kind. I love the fact that its peaceful inside. I absolutely love the spa pedicures, they range from different flavors of scents.Definitely a place to unwind and treat yourself after a long hard week on your feet.

Absolutely disgusted at how I was treated. Was told I needed to make an appointment for “nail design” even tho I was getting a fill. I was barked at for what I requested taking too much time” and then she said “see what I have to do for $10? It took me 30 mins.” So completely rude!!!! How the hell am I supposed to know you only have one person in the salon to paint my nails the way i wanted them painted? I even asked if going forward I should specifically ask for her and she said “sure”. I will never go back. Total cost of almost bursting into tears-$60

Always disappointed with service and quality, consistently borderline rude and unprofessional. My main complaint is they prefer you to pay cash so they dont have to pay service fee on the card, but then they pad the cost of the service to make up for the cash discount offered. It was always mysteriously and arbitrarily $5+ more than listed price for no or vague reasons.I have gone many times, and they are one of the only places not doing a terrible job that is available on short notice- so in a pinch theyll do.They do dip and gel all day long, so acrylic with design is not preferred- go to Polished for a good full set and design.I keep going back with the hopes my previous experiences were flukes, but after a few years of trying Ive finally given up and can now leave an honest review.

I paid for the highest priced pedicure for extra massage. Twice now I have gotten two different ladies who gave terrible massages if you call it that. As I observed another beside me both times, a female and male gave those customers what looked like amazing real massages. Mine were 90 miles per hour rubbing the same spot. They need to give massage trainings so it’s more consistent. The owners do great jobs with manis and pedis so I recommend them

Took my daughter for her 19th birthday to get a manicure and pedicure. Everyone was so kind and treated her so well. We have been to many other salons in Kansas City and have never had service as great as what we got here. We will never go anywhere else.

Im giving three stars because of Tammys professionalism.Last Thursday was my first visit. I just wanted my eyebrows waxed and a gel mani/pedi.Suzie was the lady who did both my gel mani and brows. Ive never had bruises on my face after a brow wax. Im surprised! Ive put organic coconut oil on my face since Thursday to heal the bruise.In addition, my gel mani doesnt look good. I had Tammy fix the two of them on my left hand. There was a hair on the left pinky nail and Suzie said, Leave it. That its fine. Yes she had another client walk in. But she shouldve finished with me and made sure I was satisfied before leaving me at my nail station.

We had a great time here! Amy and Brittni gave me and my daughter pedicures and a manicure for her 11th birthday. She loved it and they made her feel special. Thanks ladies! I would reccomend coming here. The chairs are awesome and relaxing, the place is clean and pretty and the ladies are kind and do a great job

This place is amazing they use incredible teamwork and if you bring a picture of what you want they can duplicate it to the T. This is my second time coming and I can confirm it is not a fluke! This place is my new favorite spot!!! I get varied acrylic with gel color and designs and its a good price!

Brittany was the bomb and my nails look AMAZING!

I had my nails done here a week ago exactly. Today I had 2 nails break off. When I sat down to look at my other nails I saw a break in them. Some nails have 2-3 cracks going through them! I have been getting my nails done for over 10 years and I’ve never seen this happen. Maybe they make them thin so that you come back to get them fixed? Maybe I just had bad luck with whomever did my nails? Not sure but I felt the need to leave a review. Other than that, my nails were done beautifully and they were nice and polite with me. I wanted to post photos but I don’t have the option.

Gave my wife chemical burns. Treated my niece terribly. Dont come here if you value your skin. Dont support a business that premotes kid services yet treats the service like its the wost thing on earth. My wife showed me the pictures of the marks the female left on my neice. Will be reporting.

My pedicure, while a tad pricey, was well money spent. The lady doing my pedi was very thorough, and I felt rather relaxed. I will be returning in the nearing future.

I was visiting Kansas City and I broke my thumb nail. I had dip nails and I decided to just have them removed. I get it I was a walk in but the guy who took off my nails didnt care about my real nails underneath. He just grabbed a pair of clipped and cut off the fake and real nails. My left pinkie was the worst. It was cut so far down the skin was exposed and painful because the nail was removed by so much. He just left them a mess but I was ready to get out. I didnt want him to do anything else with his tough treatment. Who knows how painful it would have been to have him file them. I went to a CVS to get clear polish and a nail file because this man made me scared of nail clippers now. He legitimately didnt care.

My friend and I both went in for pedicures and dips. We scheduled appointments to which they were extremely late and then rushed us through the process. Her dip chipped within 2 days and mine cracked in less than a week. Ive never had that happen to me before until I went to this salon. AWFUL quality and will never go back. So upset as these were done for her wedding.

Kim took good care of me. I had a wonderful time. I will definitely be visiting again.

This was my first time coming to Envy it was a nice experience Hue did my pedicure and manicure it was nice except my toe on my right side was really sore. I dont know if she cut too deep in my cuticle or what but above all I will be back for a manicure and pedicure.

I’ve been trying to request an appointment literally for a month. The first time, the automated reply system texted me to say my appointment was canceled. When I tried to reschedule with the online scheduler, it let me pick another time, and then I got a text saying to wait for confirmation from the owner about my requested appointment. The approval text never came, so a couple weeks later I tried again. 3 times. And I just keep being told to wait for confirmation. I would say don’t have an appointment request system if you don’t use it. I have since found another salon and will be going there instead.

Did not use a base coat or a top coat. Charged me for a gel polish but did not cure it. Ragged edges on my cuticles and skin. Honestly shocked. I wish I could have spoke up but if you go here make sure youre the type a person that pays attention and can speak up for yourself because I paid 53 dollars for incomplete services that were not done well.But at least the tubs have liners.

I loved my experience with Envy! I went here to get my nails done for my wedding. I showed my nail tech the picture that I wanted to replicate and she was all for it. She did an AMAZING job giving me the nails of my dreams. They looked beautiful with my rings and were a great accent to my wedding look. My nail tech even went out of her way to make sure my toes matched my fingers. I would highly recommend Envy, great service and wonderful quality nails.Edit: my nail tech was Tammy and I would HIGHLY recommend her

I was looking for a nail salon near me. I had gone to Polished downtown and was not impressed. I saw good reviews for Envy Nails and for the technician Tammy. I decided to give them a shot. Not only did Tammys work exceed my expectations but she was SO SWEET AND KIND! Very awesome experience. Tammy really takes pride in her work and it shows! Im posting the picture of what I showed her I wanted and her final product. Dipped French ombré. Not only did she nail the ombré but the shape is EXACTLY what I wanted. Most nail techs struggle with the almond shape but not Tammy!

I’ve been going here for a few months and always leave with bomb nails. Britney kills it and really takes her time to make sure everything looks good. Everyone here is so kind and makes sure you’re taken care of - highly recommend!!!

Make an appointment with Brittney and you will not regret it!! Envy Nails came highly recommended to me by a couple of friends so I finally went there for the first time last week and can honestly say that I will never go anywhere else! Living in downtown KC, there are a lot of places to choose from but I can honestly say that their quality of service (and cleanliness of the salon) is unmatched. I routinely get my nails done and have never had anyone truly care about health of my nails and explain the dip process (and how to carefully maintain healthy nails underneath) as thoroughly as Brittney did. They have a great color selection and Brittney also made sure to specifically ask exactly what shape I wanted and verified that that was what I wanted before continuing to do the rest of my nails. Lastly, I really appreciated her asking how thick I liked the dip as I prefer it to be thinner and look like natural polish. Overall, I’d highly recommend Envy to anyone in the KC area!!

I called and made an appointment the day before and mentioned I wanted a full set and then the lady kept saying, “You really should have told us on the phone you wanted a full set” and I kept reminding her I did, but that didn’t matter.Then when I showed her the ombré design that I wanted she told me it would cost $65 for the design along with the coffin shape and gel. I wasn’t excited about the price at all, but it’s what I wanted so I agreed to it. She said she could do what I wanted no problem.In the middle of my appointment she asked if she could do something else for a minute. I felt like I didn’t have a choice to say no so she went and painted both hands on another girl. So I was sitting there for 20 minutes waiting. Even though I made an appointment and the other girl was a walk in.Then when she went to do the ombré it turned out like garbage. I was so upset and switched mid way through. I would not recommend at all

If you are looking for a place that will do a amazing job at doing nails this is the best place to go. Also, make sure to ask for Britney because she does not disappoint!! I will definitely be coming back.

This salon is very clean and the staff is so welcoming! They have a large selection of nail colors (including dip colors) and their hours are great. But, I got a dip manicure and within 48 hours 5 of my nails cracked...they happily fixed them for me but it has now been one week since my manicure and now 8 nails have cracked. I have been getting my nails dipped for two years and have never had an experience like this.

When I first moved to KC I had a hard time finding a decent nail salon. I found envy nails because of how close it was to me. Luckily this has been my favorite place to get my nails done. My gel nails have lasted longer than other places and the staff is always friendly. I was so happy with this place and then they hired Brittany. I will now never go anywhere else to get my nails done. She goes above and beyond to educate you on why she is doing certain things to give you the best experience. My first experience of her was overhearing her explain to someone with diabetes what/why she was doing things, giving him tips to do at home and giving him practical recommendations. Then I got to experience her, willing to stay late to make sure my manicure was perfect and my eyebrows were on point. I’m so happy I found this salon and won’t be going anywhere else, even if it means a longer drive.

I set up a appointment with Britney for a full set. she got me in and out at a good time. She did such a amazing job on my nails best yet I’ll definitely be back for a fill.

Just moved to the River Market area and was looking for a nice nail place - definitely found it! I made an appointment for a dip manicure online (which was super easy btw) and Britney was fantastic! She made me feel comfortable getting my first dip :)

My nails were exactly what I wanted. She paid extra attention to detail. I’ve previously had problems with my dip nails chipping but since I’ve started coming here, they’ve stayed really well. Would definitely recommend.

The greater is SO kind and always so cheerful, I think she may be the owner or manager, however she is always the only one. I have tried this place 3 times now and I really am so sad to even post this - but they really need to do something about the bad attitudes and quality of work. My dip nails are already lifting and I got them done 1 week ago. I was there for a full 2 hours bc it took so long and there was SO MUCH FILING, I feel like I have brittle and thin nails, now. I hate to give any business a bad review; but I’m truly only posting this, as I hope they can see and try to learn from it. Even if the only thing they took from this review was to have a better attitude; I’d see it as win! I will give this place another chance in a few months, as I’d like to see if there was any positive change.

I was in Kansas City last weekend for a bachelorette party and this place was a 2 minute walk from my hotel. Clean, beautiful environment and very hospitable staff. They all took pride is their services. I wish I had a local salon in NJ that cared so much about their customers and the quality of the services they provide. Wonderful experience. If youre in the area, stop in and you wont be disappointed. If youve in the area, you just might become a regular.

Nails were really thin. I asked for coffin & the lady did square. 3 nails were bigger than the others. They lady didn’t do my nails like the picture I should her after I explained them 4 times. She did them so simple & not how I wanted just to charge me $40. I have gotten my nails done better at other nail salons for $25.

Britney was very informative on my pedicure. If you’re looking for someone who doesn’t rush through the pedicure no matter how busy it is, she is the one!

While the place was clean and had a good selection of colors for dip, the nail technician I worked with was very rude to me for no reason at all. She continually jerked my hand if I didnt hold it in what she considered to be the right position, Ive had my nails done for years and never had a technician complain, and when using the electric filer she nicked my cuticles after I told her she was hurting me, and dug her own nails into my finger, and continued to after I flinched. Only at the end when paying and her impending tip were hanging in the balance did she attempt to show me some kindness. Kindness being her saying she liked the color with a blank, smile-less expression on her face. I did not tip, and do not plan to go back.

Amazing price for amazing quality. I cannot remember my nail techs name but she was absolutely wonderful even though I messed up her appointment schedule a little bit, she was still very polite and took her time to make sure everything looked perfect. Best nail salon I have been to since moving here to Kansas City.

Tl;Dr clean, friendly salon with average price point!I am new-ish to the KC area and was looking for a nail salon. This River Market area was convenient and despite being downtown, there was availablr street perking and a nearby parking lot. Booking online was straight forward & convenient, although they also take walk ins. The salon felt clean and had plenty of space, comfortable chairs, as well as plenty of color options. Tammy was my technician and very sweet. She did a great job shaping my nails and offered suggestions when I asked about various products and services. I felt like pricing was very standard; I paid $40 for a dip polish service and there were no surprising add-ons when I arrived. Id definitely come back and dont feel a need to search for a different KC nail salon after a pleasant first visit here.
