This was the first time Ive had my nails done in years & Im very satisfied with everything about my experience here. Ill be returning often! They were very patient explaining the different types of nails I can have. I love this place & give them a 10*.

I’ve been going to V&V since I moved to Kansas City back in 2019. Gigi is the sweetest and treats me like a queen every time! Her work is very professional and I always feel more than satisfied. Everyone who comes in town to visit I take them in to see her!You won’t be disappointed! 🙂

Went two to many times. Messed up my gal manicure and pedicure. Instead of taking the polish off she just went over it and made it worse and then tried to convince me it looked good! Never again!

I moved up north from Shawnee KS to be closer to my daughter in July 2019. I’d tried several nail salons, but really wasn’t impressed until after the Covid lockdown, when I searched for my daughter, granddaughter, and I, all wanting pedicures together, my google search turned up V&V nails as one of the few salons ready and opened. I’ve been going to Gina and her husband ever since. As far as I’m concerned, this the best nail salon in my vicinity and I look forward to my monthly visits!

I just got the best manicure done around town. Love, love, love my sexy nails. She took her time and I could tell she had the skills to make my nails look perfect.

Van gives great leg massages and works on in-grown toe nails with a pedicure. New fall polish colors just came in today too!

The ladies in this nail spa are so welcoming and friendly. Their shop was very clean and cute. My husband got a wonderfully, relaxing leg and foot massage with his pedi. First time going here and Miss Gina did my nails and I love them! I will be going here from now on, it has been so hard to find a good nail place. Gina took her time was very friendly and attentive to me. She made sure my nails looked perfect! The price was good (better than the places I’ve been to) and I’m super excited to start a good relationship with this business.

Great experience for a pedicure. Decent value. Call ahead for an appointment. Usually not too busy. Experienced a wait as a walk in. They stayed open past closing time due to service taking longer than they expected. Great massage component.

Accommodating place to get nails done. I was very pleased with Ava. I dont I dont like having an a manicure while I am sitting in pedicure chair. There was no gizmo to dry my nails, so I had to just sit in that uncomfortable chair for an additional half an hour. Oh yeah, the chair was broken so no massage for me. My back hurt all night.

I called and made an appt and was told to make sure I was on time because she would save the spot for me. When I got there she had just started on someone else and I still had to wait 30 minutes. However she was very nice and personable. If she had not given my spot away I would have given them five stars!

This place is the best. The have so much to choose from. And quality is the name. If you want a real pedicure and best looking nails in town. You need to be at V and V nails. Its better to make a appt but walk ins are available. Great priceing. Gina has always done my nails. My Mom used to go to Gina but she passed. But she had me addicted. Everyone is so professional. I could not imagine going anywhere else .You feel like a million dollars when you walk out of the door. Totally Class. 🙏🏈🙌♥️

Eva and Lucas are my nail techs depending on who is available. They always do an awesome job, they allow me to soak and they dont rush my massage. I can actually relax. They use clean implements on your feet and the prices are reasonable.

Will not go back. New to the KC area and went for there for a few months. The service kept getting worse and worse each time I went. They were always in a hurry and my nails started to show it. I received a gift certificate as a gift plus I had a coupon. Mary said I could not use a coupon with a gift certificate. I dont know why because the gift giver already gave them $25 in cash for the certificate. Not sure what a coupon had to do with it. I would NOT recommend V & V Nails.

My sister and I had an appointment for 4pm. When we arrived, the woman asked, Oh! You had an appointment? & told us to take a seat. We were taken back to the chairs 15 minutes later. The water in my chair was cold but they adjusted it, however, the massage portion of the chair didnt work. A little while later the woman said my technician was on her way from home. Finally, 45 minutes after my appointment, my pedicure began.

Me and my friend set up appointments for 430 this evening and we walk in and the lady that sitting there begins to tell us that she could only do one of us and then tried to say that we didnt call but looked at her phone and we showed her our phones And when she realized that she did schedule with both of us she still continued to tell us that she could only do one of us so I walked out and left that was the most unprofessional I have ever ran across when it comes to nails I will not be returning to this location ever

I was originally hesitant to go here after the one bad review. Im glad in the end I chose to take the leap. After being totally unsatisfied with the acrylic nails done at a location down the road I left, and drove straight to V&V to get my pedi done. While I may not get a complementary cocktail, and it may not look as chic inside, the customer service was wonderful, and the finished product was great. For now, this is my new nail spa.

Such a kind family ran business. I have been multiple times and the staff goes out of their way for customers.

It was a dreary, rainy day and they werent busy at all, however, I had made an appt. Mary was my appointed manucurist and she wanted to charge me an extra $3.00 to fix a nail I knew could be fixed by using a paper form under the nail and spreading acrylic on it. BUT Mary wanted to argue with me. I have never had anyone argue with me at a nail salon. She then agreed to do it but also turned to her fellow vietnamese worker and was talking about me and they were laughing together...I felt the vibe. I just wanted to get my nails filled and get out of there. I put 2 $10.00 bills on the table as I always pay before we start because my nails will be wet. Mary said I threw the money at her. Are you kidding.....you cant throw money anyway. What an attitude! She then got up out of her chair angry and said she wasnt going to do my nails (after she had already removed most of my polish and had already started).I left V&V Nails and went to Ideal Nails on North Oak by Pizza Shoppe. They were busy but were very kind and fixed the nail with the paper form and did the acrylic thick so it wouldnt break. They cared about customer service, not $3.00.What has happened to customer service these days? Its so frustrating prices keep going up but customer service keeps going down. I pray about it constantly.

Okay. My co worker and I gave this place multiple-multiple-multiple chances because of location to our work. 3 strikes and they are out.1st strike- Their nail polish is old. It cracked on my co-worked and my nails, she had a manicure and it cracked on her own nail, I had a fill and mine was wearing off 2-3 days after they were painted. We work in an office, it isnt due to washing dishes or any type of job that would cause this to happen.2nd strike- (I shouldnt have came back) I spray tan and if you spray tan you know that you can get an orange line where your nail is. I was getting my toe nails painted. I tried to get a light color and decided it was too light and told the lady I needed a darker color. There was someone getting their nails painted to my right and to my left. The lady stated in front of them and loudly that, yes, because my nail was orange. I am sorry, but that is RUDE. She also raised her voice when I tried to HELP and move my foot to put in the little shoe they give you for your toes. I left and wrote on the receipt that she was rude.3rd strike- (this was today and I will NEVER go back) I went in there to get my nails removed, I asked if they charged extra or one price for them to be painted after. She said they would charge $8 for nail removal and $10 for painting. I told her that was okay, I knew of a place that charged one price for the whole service. She then stated in some form then go to that place.I do not know who runs this business, but this is ridiculous customer service. That is not how you run a business and they should not get away with it. I wouldnt go there if this was the last place in town.
