Nail LOUNGE, is an overpriced, low quality place to get your nails done. They also don’t value customers as they are just trying to “get the job done”. Had a very bad experience on 9/18/2021. Had an appointment for 1:30 for 2 individuals and arrived slightly early. They only let one individual get pedicure at the 1:30 time and instead the second individual didn’t get the chance to even get a pedicure because this store lied and said they would have 2 spots available at 1:30 but they lied, only one was available and by 1:50 the second individual didn’t even get served. This place lacks organization and also does not value customer service to any degree. They deserve to be shut down soon and I would go anywhere else over this place regardless of price. Beware of this place because they really don’t care about anything besides getting money and they will do the sloppiest, 15 minute job, while also not having good procedures for 2 people coming in at the same time. Doing one persons pedicure before you even start the second pedicure is unacceptable, especially when the party has to leave quickly and is in a rush in general. Please avoid this place at all costs and I am writing this long of a review for good reason! Don’t want this place to be receiving good business in the future because they sure do not deserve it by any means!JH

Nick is the best nail tech very nice makes you feel comfortable technical precise he takes his craft very seriously makes sure you like his work or if you want any adjust.enrs done. Overall the shop is very nice as well as the enployees

They wanted to charge me $80 for a refill and two nail fix for that I could just get a whole new set and a pedicure somewhere else

Its sad I had to give this place such a low rating when it might have just been the nail tech that I got stuck with. Not only was she slow but she did a very poor job of painting my toes. There was so many layers that my nails just could not dry smh

Hate my nails—each one has a different amount of layers due to multiple corrections. The tools were not clearly cleaned between uses. It took forever. Staff was nice which is the only thing that makes me feel bad for posting this. But I expected way more for a salon that had 4.5 stars and $60...super disappointed.

This used to be my favorite nail salon but after today’s visit I’ll never be back. The inside is very nice and clean, they even greet you when you come in. However the shaping of acrylic nails is not that great, not to mention the price of acrylic nails there has gone from $30 to $60 just because of the length . Most nail salons in the inner part of jersey city only charge extra for the shape which will at most $5, here they milk you for your money. My nails were $60 yet they look worst than $25 nails, the lady who did them was very rude, and whenever I asked how much for this or that she kept saying “it’ll cost more” without actually telling me how much more, her tone of voice suggested I couldn’t afford it if she was to actually say how much which was very insulting. Don’t go here spend your coin elsewhere.

All of the technicians are pleasant and they aim to please. I recommend making an appointment because the place fills up quickly; even on Sundays!

I went in today around 930 am. To get a pedicure because my feet were aching and it was well over due. First thing I paid 35 bucks for a gel pedicure. I request hot water. I like to soak my feet needless to say that didn’t occur they guy who does not understand English went straight to work. I had to tell him how to do my pedicure something he should know. I expected to feel some kind of relief from my aching feet but I feel the same way when i walk in. My feet burn and still feel rough. All he did was put soap and scrub. Didn’t really attempt to get the dead skin i had to instruct him. I’m so annoyed. I’m never going back here and he didn’t get my tip money. They know he isn’t good at pedicures at all.

I come here all the time, I was not satisfied at first time I went because I sat with someone who was new who doesnt work there anymore. Manager took care of me right after and made them perfect. Ever since than I do my nails with Q. She is a sweet heart and she does great feet. She also does great work with eye brows, she takes her time. Ive been a loyal customer for soon to be a year. Nail Lounge is always clean and neat and has great workers. In a nail place you have to try different people to get the one that does them at your style and preference. Thanks Q. Ill be there today !!

I tried so many nail salons in jersey and New York before here, and this place is the absolute best!! I get dip powder, and other places left me disappointed for a higher price. Q and Tina are so great - amazing service for long-lasting, perfectly shaped nails! Never went to another nail salon after my first visit, and the parking lot is a plus!

Finally an affordable nail salon. I desperately needed a pedicure at the last minute and saw this place on Google maps. I was in and out within 30 minutes and the best part is it only cost me $20.00. Yes, it was a basic pedicure but its the same basic pedicure youre paying $35 for in downtown JC. Nail Lounge does offer a spa pedicure for $35 which costs $50 in DTJC. I will definitely return there.

Believe the reviews that you see on this platform this place should be avoided at all costs time after Time Ive given this place chances to fix my nails or just to apply them correctly but like the other customers my gel paint has chipped off my nails within days of getting them done. I got a gel set the other day and one of my nails is lifting jobs . At times they are very rude with theyre smart remarks when you ask them questions about their nail application process. this location is not worth the money that you spend to have to go back 2 days later to complain about inadequate service

I have been going to this place for a year with my daughter. My daughter has a disability. A week ago Billy told me that he will not service my daughter because her hands turn and its a difficult job. Now mind you my daughter has nothing wrong with her brain she understands everything and can talk. For this idiot to say this in front of customers was appalling. He kept say so sorry but no I cant service her. They are cold and unprofessional. And guess what this is discrimination Billy. As for the ladies that were sitting there and said nothing I hope you learned something.

Hello good evening I come to this platform because I feel disrespected. As a part of society I know how I want to be treated and greeted. Because I treat and greet people with the upmost respect. Yesterday May 21st I went into Nail lounger to get serviced I chose a gel set. In the beginning owner only quote $45 for everything then towards the end hw throws in how the coloring for the gel set is a extra $15. I was opposed to it bc for one I dont have extra money for him to say at the last min. Then I wanted my nails to look right so I needed gel everything. So I trust the quality and opt-in for the gel coloring. Before I left yesterday he said my nails was completely dry. That was a story paint chipped off on both thumb and a finger (Three all together). I went back today hoping for fixture I left there the wife confirm it was dry I felt surface was dry as well. I only drive for a living so Im not doing heavy labor. I look down at my hands and the Gel is lifting. At this point I want great service that I paid for. I paid a whole $60 and my fingers do not look like it. I feel like I was beat I called the store back to speak to the man who did my nails and he knew it was me he hung the phone up I called back he ignored it and sent my call to a non voicemail line. I even gave him a compliment && a $2 tip for his fake great customer service I thought waa nice. At this point I want him to do whats right whether it is with me or the next. Ima leave it at that. If you are tuned in. You all know how I am feeling. With this being said Ima leave it at this and put it in the universe hands. 🙅
