Theyve done better work than every other downtown jc salon Ive been to. They did my accent nails so great just make sure you communicate with the artist.

I was recommended by a friend to come to Lynda s, I moved from the Bronx 2 month ago to Jersey city and felt out of place or where to do my nails. I visited the salon without an appointment and I was greeted and accomodated. My pedi was done by Coco and nails by a young gentleman (i didnt get his name). My nails are short but he did a great job. Coco cleaned by toes very well. Place is clean and observing Covid19 guidelines. Prices are very reasonable for every service. I ask for a design and he did this which I really loved 😍

Some of my nails came off in a week after I paid $50 and when I call to ask them if they can just charge me for a refill, the lady said “I don’t care, no” . I dont know how black people constantly give our money to these people and they show us over and over they don’t like us or care about us. This is crazy.

WORST experience I have EVER HAD at a salon in my life!!!!! I am allergic to latex which is a common allergy now a days.... I booked an appointment to get a gel manicure and soak off my current gel manicure. They sat me down soaked my hands in straight acetone for 10 min THEN put on latex gloves which I asked about and they could not seem to understand so I asked for the box. It was Latex! I said I’m allergic can you wash your hands and use a diff glove? They said no and they couldn’t help me and I needed to leave. MY HAMDS ARE SOAKED IN ACETONE!!!!!!! I had to leave the salon with acetone all over my hands and nails halfway soaked off with no manicure!!!!!!!!! NEVER GO HERE!!!!!!!!!!

The ONLY salon I go too! The pictures posted are not a good representation of there work. Cathy & Toni are the best in this area for clean accurate shapes and really great art work. Coco is the best for pedicures. There clientele is from all over Jersey City. Come early everyday! @minkxsaab

I was exited about getting my nails done.Tomorrow is my birthday and I am finally getting divorced of my narcissistic husband so felt like celebrating. This insensitive lady almost made my nails bleed and was extremely rude. She provided me with my worst experience inside a nail salon ever.

I would give a zero if I can... I feel cheated, when they charged me for a manicure when I just asked for a nail color... it’s disgusting how these women act as if they don’t understand English, just to over charge the customer... never going to a salon with south East Asian women... plus this place smelled like Ammonia...Also, the thing where you keep your hands for drying nails with UV light was dirty and it is not even cleaned... I had to disinfect my hands later on...

I was a loyal customer for 5 years or more!! After getting my nails done one night I jokingly asked Tony if he would give Coco her tip for me because she left or keep it himself and he went crazy on me cursed me out told me to shut up and get out of his place all in front of customers when I told him relax I was joking he also claimed to NOT NEED MY MONEY and I was told not to come back my Cathy as Tony pushed me out the door!! The prices always changing whenever Tony feel like it!!! Tony and Cathy are rude and liars of who was there first!! They will never get my services again!! If you felt like that then means you always felt like that about me!!! I stuck around because I like how he did my nails but I cant give my money to someone who treats me bad!!!

Best just gave to come early thats all but over all good experience.

I like the way the owner son did my nail I love it he did my nail very good and he is very funny and he is very professional in what he do so yes.

I went in to get my acrylics soaked off. What I got instead was my acrylics forcefully pulled off by wedging a plastic nail tip between the acrylics and my natural nails. I had actually asked the man to stop a few times because it was so painful. He broke my nails and took a literal chunk out of my nail ( if I held my nail up there was a hole that you could clearly see to the other side through) I cut my one nail by myself in the salon because it was THAT bad. He did not file anything for me. This wasnt even worth 5 dollars. I left with broken unfiled, not buffed nails. If I could give this place 0 stars I would.

Please be advised that this NOT the place to get your nails done. I went there on Wednesday and it’s already Friday and TWO of my nails broke off. I went back to the shop and rather for them to fix my nails I was told I had to pay additional $10 which I found very ridiculous! Poor customer service and they don’t know how to do nails properly.

WARNING AVOID AT ALL COSTS, ASSAULT OCCURRED!!! Cathy who works here assaulted me because she made the incorrect assumption that the cash I paid (a $20 in compliance with their rule of no cards on Sunday) was counterfeit. It was not, which goes without saying. But after the accusation was made, she demanded I leave my phone and take more money out of the ATM and proceeded to push me three (3) times in the stomach. As I moved past her to exit after telling her I was not withdrawing more money she ripped up the $20 and threw it out of the door. I can only believe she made such an incorrect assumption because I am a Black woman, the same reason why she thought it was appropriate to put her hands on me. By all means, if youre interested in a subpar manicure, allegations of counterfeit cash, and assault along with your mani pedi, check this place out but if youd like to avoid all three, avoid at all costs. Give your time and cash to a place that will not insult and assault you.

Although it is always super packed, I get what I want done and I leave satisfied. The staff is always super kind and friendly to me too.

I always come here for a regular gel manicure and pedicure, amazing service, friendly and clean, oh and btw the massage chairs when getting a pedicure is awesome, reccomend this place over any other in the area.

I will not go back. I picked a light shellac color for all but my ring fingers. For my ring finger I picked a goodish color (which coordinated with the light tan color), or so I thought. Well when she put the primary color I thought it was different than what I had chosen so I thought my eyes had seen the color on the pallet differently. When she went to paint the ring fingers I was disappointed that it really didnt match with my primary color. I looked at the color pallet again when I was paying and there it was! The light tan color I had chosen next to the goldish color. I asked the guy why my nails were not that color and he said that the color pallet had faded. So the color I chose was not representative of the actual color!!!!!! I asked the girl as she was doing the color BUT she dismissed me because she spoke no English so she had no clue what I was saying. Poor service, I would have expected him to give me a discount at least, or better yet I would have expected them to fix the color, even if it wasnt right then. I would have returned later since it is not cheap to gwt shellac and now I have to deal with the colors until the next mani!!!
