To everyone posting these reviews on how “great” Creekside is and how “wonderful and kind” the vet is, if that’s what you really think then why not leave a good review before what happened to my dog? If anyone wants to risk taking their animal to this practice after they performed an unauthorized and unnecessary surgery on my dog then be my guest! But people have a right to know the facts of what happened, and make a decision based on the facts of whether or not they want to continue going to a practice where this happened because the staff and vet were not paying attention. What if he had been put down?! I mean my dog has only been going there since 14 weeks of age! It’s not as if he was a brand new patient they had never seen or treated before.
Dr Elias is extremely caring and kind-hearted. Thats something you cant teach in vet school and something you cant fake. The entire staff shows compassion and concern for pets. Ive been bringing my pets to Creekside for years and will continue to do so.
The best veterinarian that you can have is a vet that is honest about their mistakes and not afraid to own up to it. What’s done is the past. The most important thing is that the pet in question is alive and healthy. We are all human, we eff up sometimes. If you can’t accept that your vet is a flawed human, I would suggest you go to a vet school and treat your own pets instead since you’re the only person that never makes mistake. And breeding your pet when there’s tons of dogs/cats out there with no home? Clearly you’re not really an animal lover, just a money-hungry person whose only aim is to keep using your poor dog as a breeding machine. I’d suggest instead of going after this hospital for blood, you look into yourself first and realize how much of a terrible human being you are. Anyways, keep your head up high, Creekside Animal Hospital 💪🏻 wish y’all the best!
My dog had surgery here a month ago; the staff and Dr. Elias took excellent care of him, as they have for the past 9 years or so. They made sure I had good information about how the surgery had gone and how to provide care for him following the surgery.
Amazing customer service and quality professionals. Taken every one of my pets there and everything has always gone great. Very reliable.
We have been taking our fur babies here forever years, and we would never take our pets anywhere else. The staff here has always been professional, kind, courteous, respectful, and honest. Highly recommended.
Dr. Elias and the staff at Creekside Animal Hospital are amazing and compassionate people. Thank you for taking such good care of my babies!
This place neutered a regular patient who was in for a routine teeth cleaning! This is outrageous, the basic response from the facility is outrageous! If the staff responsible is not held accountable by the management then this facility needs to be shut down. Please do not bring your fur babies here. This company has been flooding fake 5 star reviews for the past few days since this happened. All around bad response to a horrible situation that was 100% caused by blatant negligence.
One of the most professional animal hospitals that I have been to, there is no else that that Id trust my golden retrievers with!
I love this hospital! Dr. Elias has always been so good with my dog. Even in these crazy COVID times I never feel rushed when I am there.
Dr. Elias is an experienced, caring veterinarian who cares for her patients and clients as if they were her own.
Honesty, even when it is hard and gut-wrenching is the true sign of a caring, dedicated veterinarian.
Lovely place with hard-working, compassionate staff who are genuine and caring for all pets.
Reliable and professional veterinarians who go the extra mile to ensure a great job done.
Love creekside. I would never take my animals anywhere else.
Dr. Elias is awesome with my pets, she will even get down on the floor to their level. She always explains what procedures are being done.I had a barn cat that needed his leg amputated, she called me after his surgery to let me know how it all went. The staff is very personable. Ms. Faye always has a smile when you walk in.I would always reccomend Creekside to my family and friends.
We can not say enough about how much we love Creekside Animal and Dr E. They are so very loving and caring to our sweet fur babies. Always listen when you have a concern. Truly treated like you are a part of the family.
Dr. Elias is a kind, caring and compassionate veterinarian.

Being new to the area, I felt lucky to have found Dr. Elias and Creekside Animal Hospital. They are friendly and always willing to help. My Ginny loves the staff.
A wonderful veterinarian that cares deeply.
Dr Elias and her team are the best. They care about you as family. They treat our fur baby just like he was theirs. Thanks for the great care and attention you give Rapper
Creekside is the best vet around. They truly care for all the animals they take care of!!! I know my baby Stella is well taken care of.

My cat has received wonderful treatment at Creekside. Dr. Elias and her staff are caring, and I feel confident in the care they give.
Wonderful, honest and caring veterinarian.
Great Doctors and Staff! I wouldnt trust my sweet Yetis health to anyone else unless referred by Creeksides Dr. Elias.
Creekside Animal Hospital is AWESOME!! Informed, professional, friendly, respectful and they treat our fur babies like the family that they are to us!
Dr Elias is wonderful.
Dr. Elias and her staff, at Creekside Animal Hospital, have been caring for our furbabies since they opened their doors. They have been with us through many pet emergencies, the losses of our 17 and 16 year old furbabies (this staff helped keep those babies healthy for ALL those years), and all those well furbaby visits. We can always count on Creekside to treat our remaining furbabies like they are their very own. They also treat the parents of these furry babies as if we are family. There is no comparison to Dr. Cindy Elias and her staff.
Extremely caring vet!

Excellent veterinarian!
Love this animal hospital and all it’s staff !!!
My undying gratitude to Dr. Elias and her staff for their excellent care of my sweet Maxie, who was near death when doctor first saw him. She swiftly diagnosed his problem and began intensive treatment. Four days later, Maxie was leaping from counter to counter in exam room. Maxie is a 10-month-old male feline rescue, a sweet, loving and lovable, invaluable family member. Because of his remarkable recovery while in the care of those at Creekside Animal Hospital, we hope to have our sweet Maxie home soon.UPDATE: When Maxie was not having satisfactory response to treatment, De. Elias recommended taking him to NC State Veterinary Hospital in Raleigh. So glad we did. They, together with Dr. Elias, are treating him. Maxies cbc at 16%. Low, but above the 10% when he got sick and treatment began.Cautiously optimistic. Dr. Elias (his wonderful primary vet) is consulting with NC State Veterinary Hospital (an excellent facility) regarding treatment. Maxie is behaving much as before he got sick. He and Sophie are up to their old tricks. They are racing, romping and pouncing on me at 8 a.m. to get me up. They must have inner clocks. Happy, happy for the chaos. Hope it will continue.
I have never had a veterinarian and team care so much about me and my family. The cared for my dog Queenie and my family with respect and dignity. She didn’t sugar coat anything and allowed me to make the decisions I needed to without pressure. If you are reading these reviews trying to figure out what vet you want to go to I recommend creekside 1000x Times over. I have never had a veterinarian treat my family and I as their own family. Btw they are also great with babies.
Dr.Elias and her team go above and beyond to offer the exceptional care and have the latest technology to provide the proper diagnosis. So happy to have such quality and care in our area!
This is an awesome animal hospital and it is the best in town!! When I have a scheduled visit I feel like I am taking my pets to a family members house. Everyone is friendly and the place is ALWAYS clean. I HIGHLY recommend using Creekside Animal Hospital
Best vet around! Professional and very attentive to her fur baby clients! Cured my lab of cancer! We love you Dr E!
My dogs and I love Creekside. Excellent service. The staff is always very friendly and welcoming. Dr. Elias is very resourceful and I trust her to take good care of my babies.
Wonderful vet!
My parents transferred records for all three of my dogs this year. Really satisfied. They said each time they go in they feel welcomed and appreciated. Very friendly staff.
Wonderful veterinarian
Creekside only saw our beloved Lulu a few times, but it seemed like a very nice facility with a caring staff. The only thing I would say is the places recommended for an ER visit were not favorable. NC state isnt even an ideal option unless you have money as they charge 4x what a normal vet does. This is what I was told over the phone, and I was told they would have to redo everything that had already been done. EC vets was AWFUL and a waste of time. They were unprofessional and treated me like a child. If you need an ER vet I would HIGHLY recommend The Cove in Suffolk, VA! Its about the same in driving time to Raleigh if Im not mistaken. They got right down to what needed to be done (an ultrasound), and didnt charge me even half of what I was told NC state would. Lulu needed help ASAP as her health was deteriorating fast but I appreciate the care she did receive at Creekside.
Performed an unauthorized surgery.
Very nice and professional.
Outstanding care and love for your pets. 10/10 recommend coming here
Love, love, love this office. Everyone takes so much time and care with my dog! My 10 year old Border Collie stresses so much when he goes to the vet (or anywhere!), but the staff here is so calming.
We just moved here and our little dog wasnt feeling well. They got us in on the same day I called. The staff and doctor treating me and our faily one one with love and care, just like our vet in florida did for over 15 years. Definately keeping these guys
EDIT: I am so glad other people are seeing the unprofessionalism by this so called vet that i expereienced. Im sorry it happened to them, but i hope this is an eye opener for the Roanoke Valley.__________________________________________________________My cat was taken to a back room (instead of the exam room) for a nail trim, as one of her nails had become slightly embedded. i explained to the Dr. that she was very frightened of people she didnt know and if she cant run she will bite and scratch. I helped muzzle her, but i guess between the backroom and the exam room, my cat grew opposable thumbs and reached around and took the muzzle off, because a tech ran back in the room with her SANS muzzle saying Dr. Elias was bitten. (I want to add that she has been muzzled plenty of times at her regular vet, she has NEVER gotten out of a muzzle in 19 years). I also want to add that the Dr. kept getting very close to her face talking softly to her and trying to stroke her, even though I kept telling her Please, shes afraid and will attack you, shed even attack me shes so scared and upset right now. Point is, they then called animal control on my 19yr old house cat, despite the fact they had ALL of her records, dating back to 1990s showing she was UTD on all of her shots. Even when I showed animal control the records I had my regular vet print out, the officer told me they were taking her and if i didnt let them in id be arrested and the police would break into the house to take her. My arthritic cat spent the night in the cold animal shelter, when she has always slept on my pillow with me. she slept in her litter box. She was given cheap 9 lives at the pound, instead of her organic food, and had terrible diarrhea as a result. I had to walk out of the pound with her crying for me, I cried ALL night long while my parents made phone call after phone call. It is a blessing Commissioner Pierce helped us -he called animal control and they let me get her the following day (for home quarantine, which means a stranger came into my house to look at my cat curled up on the bed napping peacefully ever other day or so). Go to Lake Country; with a tech to help hold a towel over her, and another to pull out her paws and trime the nails, paw by paw, Lake Country got a job I was told would require sedation at Creekside, done in less than 10 minutes. My baby girl has since passed away a few months following that, i cant help but wonder if all the stress and fear she went through that night didnt expedite her passing. The whole event was terrible and very unnecessary. If you have a skittish cat or dog, or one that is afraid of strangers or the vet, please take my review as a caveat. It is the WORST feeling in the world to have something like that happen to your baby. ts something I will never forget, to this day I feel terrified when the vet wants to take my kitten or bunny back to another room - when Im allowed to accompany, I go and try not to even blink. Its sad this experience has made me lose faith in vets,
Absolutely amazing staff...great with my dogs :)
Outstanding service and staff Dr. E is the best!!
