Nice and quiet. Great service

I asked for a french manicure and ended up with this $50 later. The guy that did my feet didnt understand and did whatever he wanted!!! Absolute worst... when the person with me paid half the price with better service. SMH

I decided to choose this place because it opened at 9am. Trying to avoid the rush. Stephanie did my nails but I could tell there was going to be issues.The manager lady came yelling and fussing in their language. It doesn’t matter the language it was loud. So I only requested a fill in $55 worth no design. I advise I have a nail that has lifted she just put glue on it. Well by Monday morning I’m back waiting b/c more nails lifted after she completed. The so called manager looked at me as if I did something told me to wait. After being ignored I left never to return. I don’t recommend.

Came he while on vacation, had a great experience, very friendly, got my nails done by Haun, he did a great job, my mother got a pedicure and she was satisfied as well

This is great place to get your nails done! When there is a problem they are quick to fix it.They make you feel comfortable and not out of place very friendly and nice staff. The deluxe pedicures are the best and the nail techs are great. Started coming here after another salon did a shady job on my nails and came here to get them fixed left out with my hands looking brand new. Ive been a faithful customer since!

Bizzare.Seen as walk-in midday Saturday for lower leg wax. Was quoted $35. Was seated in one of the chairs the nail techs sit on in the middle of the store.No protection for my shoes, nor any thing other than the bare floor offered to put my feet on. The wax tech open a wooden dresser drawer where the hot wax pot was stored surrounded by magazine pages to catch the wax. The drawer was placed on the floor and the tech just crouched at my feet to do the wax.After one leg was waxed was told the price was $45 and up but it was okay if you just pay $45. When I pointed out that the price had changed, I was just told Sorry, I was wrong.Waxing itself went smooth and easy, though one knee was incomplete and I only noticed after getting outside into brighter light.I went along with the whole thing as an adventure in absurdity once it had began. Will go somewhere else in the future.One star for service/price/availability during peak hours. The other star for adventure/weirdness.

I m not one that post my negative comments, but I came for my normal manicure and pedicure. The new mgr. said my normal person was off. First they did my nails until they put bags on my hands and went to someone else. Then the lady doing the pedicure told me soak my feet. I told her I still had the bags on my hands because evidently she didnt notice. She didnt do anything that I couldnt have done at home, and I know very little about how to do a pedicure. After it all, I asked him does my normal person still work here? He replied no. I told him, You should have told me that when I asked at the beginning. Youve been warned.

Im from Miami but every time Im going to Jacksonville, I purposely come in time to get them done here. They are very clean. Use the liner with every pedicure. Sanitize all tools. I waited for over an hour and a half for a fill in. A woman came in and signed in and sat next to me. She asked if I was waiting and I told her yes over an hour and she left. That’s when they seated me almost right away. My nails were pretty good but the woman was quite rude. When a technician is rude it makes you not want to come back and spend your hard earned money for an uncomfortable experience. Overall the wait and the attitude of the technician is what really made my experience not so great. These are pictures of my nails when they were first done and then two weeks later. I definitely won’t be returning...

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. The nail salon I normally go to is closed today and so I thought I would give this place a try and It was the worst. The lady at the first nail booth on the left did my nails not only Was she rude as hell but she was so in a rush doing my nails that she didn’t even let them dry all the way. I do not recommend this place.

My daughter got a full set of acrylics and I got dip polish. There was some initial confusion about how to remove another salons manicure (I had dip with a gel topcoat and they insisted I had acrylics) but once that was cleared up, the manicures were pretty standard.EXCEPT that they lasted forever! This was by far the best and longest lasting manicure either of us have ever gotten. I am willing to make a longer drive for that long lasting of a mani!

Didn’t even give me an actual manicure just did my nails. Said they didn’t have the colors that I originally wanted which wasn’t true they were just being lazy. My nails are thick as hell. Didn’t even fully file them still a lot of sharp edges and not smooth sides. Left a finger indent on my thumb. This isn’t what I wanted after not having my nails done in 10 years.

They provide great service and they did a wonderful job with my nails.

I wish I could put 0 stars first of all the lady in the front was rushing my nails. got up during the service to go wax someone’s eyebrows she was so rough taking of my dip nails when I usually get them soaked off she was so rough not friendly charged me 80 dollars for these dust pan fat finger nails I called and said I wasn’t satisfied they said no refund I said can you at least take them off she said we would have to talk to a manger please tell me you would be happy with these nails? Wouldn’t recommend this place

So I had a pedicure and full set completed yesterday 9.7.2020 and I will not be returning. Here are the reasons why:Pedicure1. They did not clean the pedicure chair after someone sat in it and before I sat in it.2. The water was cold3. The pedicure was quick and not relaxing at all.Full set4. Did not wipe the seat after being used by another customer5. Had to ask for a new towel because they were going to use the towel from previous customer6. Did not offer anything to drinkOverall the nails are lumpy and I am not happy with this purchase.Witnessed:Double dipping wax sticks and not wiping the chair after each customer.Covid or not we need to be better about cleaning between clients and please use the sterilizer/autoclave for instruments and burs beings used on clients!!!!

This place is not professional. they messed up my nails, shaped them wrong and i wanted ombré and they put an orange instead of pink. and when i told them to just stop and i’ll pay for what they did but will be going somewhere else they tried to make me pay full price of 75$.. that is insane. never going back!!

Theyve changed their entire staff. I really need them to be more consistent with their pricing... it keeps rising.... especially since covid. I get the SAME thing every time and my price fluctuates. 😏

Johnny, does great nails ! Me and my girls go here. They stay open till 8 pm on most days and I love that ! They are all very friendly and helpful. And they also do great eyebrows ( the lady takes her time and double checks it .

Lee is pretty cool, but a jokester as well. We like coming here because we feel comfortable and not out of place. The people who works there are really nice. What they have that the other nail shops dont have is they know people come to relax and unwind from a hard days/weeks/months work. They dont rush you they take their time and make sure you enjoy the service. We love great customer service and at Nails & Beyond thats what you get there. Thank you Tina, Lee and Crew for all that you do and last but not least (THE PRICES ARE GREAT). We hate going somewhere and they are out of control with their prices. This fits our pocket perfectly. Good looking out.

10/10 do not recommend for acrylic nails. I now have very thick, bubble like, ill shaped nails that are stuck to my cuticles. I had to ask him to correct something every step of the way. Not worth the headache nor the price.Pedicure is fine but would not recommend for acrylic nails.

Honestly will never come back. All I wanted was my eyebrows done and yet they rush through did a horrible job, only used the wax did not brush out and trim them did not even pickup a pair of tweezers. Just waxed and shooed me out the door, on top of charging me $10 dollars for a half done job.

I’m from out of state and came here because it was close to the airport. I was a little weary going to some random nail place but I did not need to worry because I was in great hands. The prices are great, the staff is nice and overall I had a very great experience! I would definitely come back if I lived nearby!

I’ve been to this place twice and had poor service each time!!! The technician rushed on our service!! Nails were lumpy and polish all over fingers!!! Never offered us anything to drink as they were for other customers!!! WILL NEVER RETURN!!!That night my daughter gel nails were peeling off!!! Will be going back up there to be fixed!!!

Been going here 10+ yrs. Tina & Hahn operate a busy nail salon and offer a wide selection of services. If youre not happy with something, they go above & beyond to make things right. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Prices are very competitive, especially since theyre at the airport exit.

I went there on a Monday since most nail places were closed. I normally wouldn’t have gone because of the low reviews but I really needed them done so we took a chance. To my surprise the young guy who did it, did an excellent job! I gave 4 stars because he was not friendly at all, but he did an excellent job with my nails and that’s what I’m paying for. I ended up going again the next day to wax my eyebrows and she did a great job as well. I’ll keep going until they give me a reason not to.

Chris was excellent. Did dip with a very unique design by hand, I dont know about you but I cant draw a palm tree. Going to Bahamas so needed palm trees on my nails!

Loved the massages, my feet feel so much better. No problems, attention to detail by my nail tech was outstanding. This was my 2nd visit and will go back.

Just had a fill in and my husband had the full experience pedicure. We came in and say only for a few minutes before being seated to get worked on. The guy that did my nails was very careful up until they got busy and then he seemed to rush a bit. My nails are beautiful for the holidays. The lady who worked on my husband’s feet was hilarious. He took so much longer than me! Lol! She was thorough and did wonderful work. She suggested matching colors for him and I but my hubby decline 😂. Will be back!

Come here faithfully now every two weeks. Get SNS which is so much better then gel polish and helps my nails grow healthy and strong. They also give wonderful pedicures and is one of the few places that takes there time doing the services and is very affordable.

Had to wait 20 minutes for a technician. I dont mind waiting if no evolutes are available. However, one of the employees say up front pleasing on her phone for 30 minutes.......She may have been on a break, but who knows...

Just a mess, the class of this place has PLUMMETED! And the manager begged me to come on here to give her a 5 star review! This wasn’t 5 star work or service! Used to come here all of the time until they got sloppy! Tried to give them another shot but now I see why I take the 30min drive elsewhere! Convenience does not always mean better! Sometimes you really have to travel for the better services and QUALITY! Will not be returning!

This place has gone down. My last two visits I had to come back for them to just polish my nails correctly. At one point I really enjoyed the services, but now it just not good.Also, I stopped by to only have SNS polish removed from my nails, the tech watched movies on his phone while removing the polish and acted as if I was bothering him when I asked a question.I gave it 2 stars, because they did somewhat or attempted to correct the issue.Just poor service now. Sad.

I am a regular customer and always request the same few people to do my services some of the guys are a little rough and if they are busy you can tell the difference. But this is still my favorite shop they keep it clean and I have witnessed the nightly cleanup. I have had a couple of iffy experiences of arguments and ordering lunch while doing my services but it is a family business thats what happens its like a reality show in a language I will learn one day so I can understand the story line...haha. nothing wrong with some entertainment from time to time and I even encountered a national celebrity there on one occasion who is a regular.

I will never return after waiting hours to get a pedicure and clearly there were many workers I had to wait another 2 hours just to get my niece nails polish people kept walking in and the employees kept taking everyone else it was clear to see no one wanted to polish my niece nails and the tech doing my pedicure kept asking for someone to do it. I don’t recommend anyone coming to this place it’s very unprofessional and no one like to work.

I have been going to this salon for over 5 years. That should tell you the quality of service there. I absolutely LOVE everyone!

Horrible experience. Was told they dont know how to do acrylic nails. Lol such bullshit. I came from out of town and just needed one nail fixed. No one working could fix an acrylic nail? I will never be back. And suggest that other should go to skylark nails instead.

I go here for SNS regularly! They first check your nails then let you soak them off. I have used two of the nail people and loved them both Tina is my favorite! Definitely the only place I will go for SNS. They do a great job on pedicures too! I was there today for SNS pink and white (they even have the pink glitter)!! Recommend this place to all of my friends!

Started off loving the place....and after 8 consecutive BAD experiences I just cant go back. When you pay $75 for a service you should feel good when you leave and that just doesnt happen here anymore. Appointments mean nothing (it is still a 3+ hour experience and 1/3rd of the time is waiting) and there is no consistency to the different technicians procedures. They, especially Tina, is very rude to customers. Pedicures....with Steven gone (he opened his own place at the outlet mall in St. Aug) it isnt worth the time or money (do it yourself to get better results) I REALLY HAVE TRIED even coming in the morning and on off days (at their request) but it just doesnt work. They take the customers for granted, and they can because so few places offer the SNS selection they have but Id rather do without than be consistently treated badly (AND I TIP GREAT) Kim is good, so if you go ask for her but be prepared.

It’s the only Nail Salon I go to. The customer service is absolutely outstanding. I recommend everyone go there.

Had an appt for 2:30, wasnt start for almost an hour later! Had my hands soaking for over 20min!!! The nail tech who started me did not speak any English, just would look at someone else when I spoke to her. The 2nd tech who took over did a good job on my nails, but every color I picked she brought back a different color. Handed me a ticket for $35 then I went to pay and she said oh I meant to say $40.. Its 4:20 and Im just now leaving. Only reason I came here was because someone gave me a gift card. I will never be back!THE VERY NEXT DAY ONE OF MY NAILS SPILT!!! NOW TODAY, 3 DAYS LATER ANOTHER NAIL HAS SPILT! I WILL NEVER RECOMMEND OR BE BACK!!!

My daughter came home highly upset with the service she received from this salon. I recommend finding another nail salon in the area to do your nails.

Never go here for for SNS nails. They do not soak them off and will rip them off because they are to lazy to do it right. Snatched my hands back after I told her what I had and wanted and she just nodded and said okay and was still going to rip them on instead of soaking them off.

I love this place my gel polish never peels unlike other places. I go to Han he is wonderful very nice and friendly also very relaxing environment.

Horrible service!!! Got a pedicure and she only rubbed my legs.... I don’t think we go in there to get a leg rub. She was rushing through it. Also got a manicure that looks awful because she was rushing through that too. My nails are crooked and I said I wanted clear on them, she told me no because clear chips. I will not be going back to them

Customer service was ok. The guy that did my pedicure was super nice and very sweet! Took his time and did not rush like most places I’ve been. When it comes to my nails, that’s a different story. I moved around three different times and after 45 mins of finally getting someone to do my nails, the girl that started shaping my nails did not do a good job. The guy with the blond hair that did my acrylic had an attitude and he was trying to fix what the girl messed up. They did not have the same color in gel that was on my toes and they charge way too much. The manager said to me I like your nails, knowing good well his team did not do a good job probably assuming that I was going to complain but I was already over being there and I needed to go get my son after spending over 2 hours in there. I wouldn’t go here again.

My sister just got out of this salon and they did a terrible job. The lady who sits right by the cash register did her nails, we don’t know her name. She wanted french tip acrylics. We called the salon before we came in and asked how much it would cost, they exactly said $30. I went to go to marshall’s to look around while my sister was getting her nails done, I got a text from her saying the lady says it’s going to be $45 now. The lady thought she just wanted the tips with NO POLISH. We had to end up paying her the $45. They are very overpriced for a crappy service. If you’re in the area, I recommend queen nails of oceanway. They have great staff and it’s only $5 extra for GEL polish when at nails and beyond it’s $15 more. We will defiently not be coming back here.

A friend of mine came in for an acrylic set. She showed me pictures and told me they refused to fix them. Im mortified!! Please Nails & Beyond, either rectify this mistake or refund her money. Its not okay to negatively affect someones outward appearance and not offer a solution.

Waited with my girlfriend 2 hours for a pedicure. Don’t know how they can run a place so short staffed. I’m glad there isn’t an option to leave zero stars because one of the ladies did accommodate us with a bottle of water while in the massage chair. I don’t know if they were as slow as they were making it out to be or if they just didn’t want to touch my feet but I won’t recommend this place if you are on any bit of a timeframe.

The only place in Jacksonville that does a Great job on SNS nails. I have tried other places. No go!!!

My step daughter and I came in for a manicure, it was a disappointment :( i got the gel nails and she didnt apply it correctly. My nail is not covered and there are swipe marks. I could have done a better job. Not worth the $30. They also had us move seats three times and then wanted my daughter to sit at a separate seat then me and clearly became upset whenever I told her I wanted her to sit next to me.....she is only 8. Her nails are already chipping and the manicure is only 2 days old not worth the $9. Never going back!

Just left this place and the one chic who sits in the front, directly across from the greeting table, is completely unprofessional! She rushed through my nails and had a horrible attitude the entire time. When I made suggestions on how my nails looked, she rudely and very loudly said she could soak them off and someone else could do them. The entire experience was awful when all she had to do was listen. She truly needs to take a course on how to treat and talk to customers. Ive been here before with no issues at all but this time, it was completely ridiculous. If I could rate -0, I would!

If I could give a zero I would....the service was terrible...the place was filthy....My SNS nails are peeling. I can’t even begin to tell everyone how horrible an experience this was. I will be taking my nails off today.

Never going back, and neither should you- I waited 40 minutes, only to have a group of 5 seated and serviced before me. Then they tried to have me sit at a station that belonged to the group of 5 (the other customer had left to go to the bathroom), which created a very unpleasant situation when the customer came back, which the employees did nothing to remedy.My nails look terrible- I got the SNS dip, and they are bumpy and uneven. You can see the streaks in the topcoat from their ceappy brushes, which adds to the uneven-ness. My oval nails are misshapen and uneven- the roughest ovals Ive ever had. The nail tech did not clean up my hands after, so I have purple SNS residue on my skin and in my cuticles, as well as a thick glue-like substance on my fingertips behind my nails.To top it all off, my nail tech totally disappeared after finishing my nails. He literally forgot about me. I didnt know my nails were done (I thought he might be coming back to fix them up because they looked, and still do look, terrible), so I sat there for an additional 30 minutes waiting for nothing.Im happy I had a gift card, because I would never pay money for this low level of quality and customer service. I have a balance on my gift card, and I will never use it- Im going back tomorrow to get this hideous manicure soaked off, and never going back after that.

I was really enjoying getting my nails done here the first few times. When I got pregnant I asked them if they could be a little more gental with my fingers (my fingers would burn bc of the fumes) and it’s like I asked for too much bc I asked about 3 times.. and after the 3rd time she was talking to another co worker and a guy sitting next to her actually told me “she’s talking about you” she didn’t even look at me after that. I came in again a few weeks later and same lady did my nails.. my fingers weren’t as irritated as last time but she wasn’t filing my nails down evenly and I kept telling her and again, she got upset and rushed through it that My polish looked crappy. Last week I went to get a full set and tried the SNS.. I’ve heard several good things about it.. they last 3-4 weeks. After not even a week, I already feel them lifting! My hair is constantly getting caught under the SNS. And I’m not sure if it’s the product or what but he even left what I think is an air bubble on my thumb nail. At the end of the service, he went through and felt them all and didn’t mention anything about the air bubble and I didn’t notice till I got home. On top of that, i told him I wanted my nails short, and I repeated myself.. when he’d cut them down, he BARELY cut anything. I have a 1.5m old baby so I wanted my nails short. My thumb nails were almost down to my thumb and the rest were like half an inch long.. plus some were still uneven. I kept showing him how short my thumb nails were bc that’s how short I wanted all of them and he wouldn’t compare my nails to make sure they’re even. Definitely won’t be going back anymore.

Got a pedi.. The water was really hot and when I mention it I was ignored. Then he cut my nails down and then didnt files them to make them even or anything. I had to tell him to file out the sides which he didnt even do a good job at. When it came to polish .. It was uneven and he didnt even get the sides.. Sad that I drove more than 25 mins safe to say I wont be coming back..

After staff arguing I was able to have a staff member assigned for my pedicure. the person who did my Sns rushed, overfiled nail beds, nails were uneven alround and not friendly at all. Service has gone downhill. Recommendation would be not to argue in front of customers and focus more on customer service & quality.

I waited for over an hour for a pedicure when the only person in front of me was the guy getting his pedi. There was only on be girl working so i was like ok. Then 2 other staff members come in and they skip right over me and another lady waiting and starts on her feet after the staff member that has been there told him we were waiting first. When asked about it, the response was idk. No one said a word to him or us about what he did so i walked out! Even then all they did was look at me. I will never go back or recommend then to anyone.

Everyone does a great job in this nail salon. Tina did my nails and I am extremely pleased with how they look.

I notice from other recent reviews that the service at this place is consistently bad. Today I came in for a manicure. The woman who I will assume is the manager was hell bent on me getting gel polish only because it will last longer. I did not want gel polish, I wanted a manicure. I have never experienced anything like this before.Another tech starts my manicure after I had to more firmly tell her that I wanted a manicure and not gel. Needless to say, my cuticles are raw and bleeding now. She buffed the cuticle and the skin above my nail and ripped the dead skin from my cuticle bed. She was barely paying attention to me and my nails, always looking over my shoulder to peek at what someone else behind me was doing. I could not take anymore and discounted the service.Mind you while I am getting my manicure, the manager was arguing loudly in front of customers with staff about about someone who owed a ticket of $125 dollars but only paid $100. The client the manager had in front of her was waiting patiently for her to start her service but she was too busy arguing. That client left. Two more clients that had arrived while this horrible display was going on left not too long afterward because the manager claimed she could not simply repair her nail.When you go to the nail salon, you expect to get pampered in a positive environment. This place is toxic right now. I pray the manager and staff at this place get it together because once upon a time, I enjoyed coming here.I will say, I brought my special needs aunt with me and the tech that took care of her did an excellent job. That is the only reason this place gets a star.

I went in to get pedicures for me and my fiancés daughter. I also had shilac done to my nails. First time to this place and Susan did my nails---I walked out and the pedicure chipped that very day. Also my shilac was bubbling up and cracking, went in to fix it the next day and she refused to redo my nails. Even though I asked several times. They are all cracked again in the paint. Ive never had such a terrible experience. When you pay $75 to get pampered you expect better results. My pedi polish elsewhere always lasts at least two weeks before chipping with regular polish. My shilac has NEVER done this. If the owner sees this and would like to make this up to me Ill be willing, but at NO CHARGE. And please redo them all. Not just two of my nails?!If not Ill leave this review and let everyone know not to come to your business.September 21, 2017I see you reply to the good comments but you do not want to fix your mistakes.
