Very nice when speaking to staff! Just would be nice to have a little more communication and notice at move in time. Other then that I think it will be just fine there.

I love this place. Wonderful amenities, friendly staff and they are always showing how much they appreciate their residents. No matter how big or small the work order you request they make sure it gets done in a timely manner. Any questions you have always feel welcomed to contact the office because they are always available and happy to assist. I am actually from Miami and did not know what to expect from Jacksonville but I am glad I made the transition.

I Think Townsend apartment is great place to call home. I mean literally everything about the Pinnacle Team is great. The team is well efficient and also maintenance and repair is no more than an hour. They will work with any tenants as long as you come forward with your issue. I love my new apartment and I’m so thankful for Townsend apartments helping me every step of the way with getting moved in. Courtney was my leasing agent and she is amazing. Courtney is very personable and will take care of you. I love that they have a nice big pool for my daughter and I to enjoy with the residents and they have it cleaned every single day. Also right up the street from all the major shopping centers off Merrill Rd. If you’re looking for a cozy, nice place to call home definitely apply here.

The apartment is OK the maintenance is always on point the office on the other hand is always closed they screen their calls they do not call you back and if you sent an email you will get a rude email back as if you are bothering them or inconveniencing them they inconvenience their residents with this so-called fixing the parking lot which all they did was spray it black but did not fix any potholes or cracks in the parking lot they do not tell you what they are doing and they will threaten to tell your car for anything this is ridiculous and they need to do better I feel that communication is the key and they need to work on that and also work on answering their phones are calling people back in a timely manner

My apartment is beautiful and thats why I decided to move here. However, the problem Ive experienced is the plumbing, The water pressure stinks!!! This is a problem you cant forsee before signing the lease yet my hope is they will resolve this inconvenience. This will let me know how much the management cares for their residence and property.

I love the way the apartments and grounds are set up very nice and clean. Well kept. The manger Mrs. McGregor really knows her job and very nice. This is a place I would recommend my family and friends to live.

They were great through the covid-19 Pandemic and understood everything that was going on at that time. I would refer anybody to move there if you need something at a great rate and not a bad area.

I was looking to rent and apartment and stopped by Townsend. I spoke with Victoria who was very professional and courteous. She provided me with all the information that I would need to rent the apartment and also helped me apply online. I really needed an apartment right away my family and I had been displaced and I really appreciated her time to help me rent an apartment. This moving experience was not hard at all and I really think Victoria had a lot to do with it. I would definitely recommend these apartments.

Townsend apartments are horrible apartments. I have put in work orders and never get anything done. I have to force them to fix thing by calling corporate on them. I had 4 leaks from my ceiling and had to call corporate to fix it. they are unorganized staff. they are rude. I gave them a 60 day notice and a week before moving they didnt know I was moving which was a lie because I have my copy and I gave them one. when it was time to give the key back they have locked the door and fact like I was there. once I called the same week they told me to come and drop it off and they will charge me each day of having the key.

The apartments have a nice sunk in living room making them different from all the others I looked at. Also Courtney, in the office, was so great with all my questions and friendly every time I spoke with her. The property was clean and quiet when I was there. Im still looking but Townsend is definitely in my top picks.

I put in my maintenance request online and the maintenance man came the same day. He was polite ad always. Townsend apartments has the best maintenance staff. They are always friendly and go above and beyond!

I’m very pleased with our selection and the move in experience here at Townsend. Both Kiesha and Ms. Courtney were great with assisting us into getting into our new place. We love our apartment and the safe and clean environment! I’ve given them 5 stars because of the upkeep of the property as well as the professionalism with the office staff!

Place is ok if you keep to yourself and dont allow strangers in and around your place. The only issue I had was when the census personnel started knocking on peoples doors all disrespectful and demanding! Maintenance issues normally are resolved quickly. Neighbors are fine. Pretty clean outside. The rent is very reasonable!

So this is an update from my last post. The maintenance men went above and beyond to fix my issues. Instead of them just only resolving one problem, they resolved multiple problems. I needed a new bathroom and they have it to me. In addition, they gave me new flooring, new toilets, and new tubs and a brand new refrigerator. These maintenance men and Property managers are way better than the onrs before

It appears maintenance is accustomed to putting bandaids on gunshot wounds the real issue of mold, unsecured entrances, unsafe walk areas are never addressed. Be careful of the eye appeal.

Management is Awesome! Mrs. McGregor make you feel at home and answers all of your questions. Really knows her job and business. The apartments are Awesome!

Needs to update hours of operations sign. Needs to update phone numbers on signs as signs posted dont have the correct phone numbers.Needs to return phone calls and not have only option for current renters be lumped in with vendors as option 5.I have current number but signs posted have 744-8282.They are updating which is nice but the office infrastructure seems to need the most work.

I will say you get a lot of space for your buck I had a two bedroom two bath 1300 ft.² for under 800 bucks on the southside can’t really beat that. Other than that the appliances are kind of old the flooring needs to be redone and at times getting a hold of management can be a hassle.

I moved here in March and I have a wonderful unit no major problems and the minor problems maintenance fix it with no hesitations . Good community pet friendly school bus line stores within walking distance.. They dnt answer the phone but Im still able to put my request in and the job gets done 🙃

Im not sure where these 5 stars are coming from. I moved here a year ago, and its just been an unending disappointment. The employees are decent people, but the way the complex is managed is awful and the communication is either non existent or flat out incorrect. Ive had my apartment moved without being notified, and it was one that cost more. The date the apartment would be available was incorrect and the office staff never checked - so I had to take an apartment as is because no one informed me of anything until the day before I was due to move in, or wait 10 days. I was coming from another state, something I had clearly communicated the entire time. My timetable was non negotiable. Ive spoken to the site manager exactly once, and never got to see them in person to discuss any of the issues or condition of the apartment when I moved in. I have zero expectation of getting my security deposit back.The complex itself is run down, my ceiling is cracked and rains dust. I have a broken riser in my living room thats been like this the entire time, regardless of how many maintenance requests are submitted. The toilet backs up into my tub. The AC leaks/gets backed up every few months and the wiring was so degraded that it shocked the electrician that was sent for upgrades. Ive had police knock on my door twice for car break ins. Pizza places wont deliver here after dark. You will have roaches after it rains, at a minimum.My rent was miscommunicated to me after I went to short term, in the middle of a pandemic no less. Ive attempted to contact the front office for a week to discuss the issue and not once has someone picked up the phone. This is not a 800$ (900$ with the short lease fee, not percentage increase like I was told) a month place, and Id be less frustrated if the rent was reflective of the quality. If I were paying 650$, it would make sense and Id consider it a bargain.None of my issues were isolated. There is a larger repetitive pattern, and I would not recommend living here to anyone at this price point under any management.

Why doesn’t the staff ever answer the phone here??? They constantly post about so pricing and available Units but yet they never answer the phone. I’ve been calling for weeks from different sites where I’ve seen their units posted and got through once on accident. I could tell when she picked up that Courtney didn’t mean to answer and hear from someone inquiring about the living space. I even asked for pictures & application so I could begin The leasing process. She informed Me that she would send out updated photos of The unit I requested and an application attached. That was days ago and I’ve still gotten no email nor answer from the office staff. It seems they don’t want new residents and covid has just given the staff an excuse to throw customer service out of the window. I’m not sure what’s going on but, based On the reviews and difficulty to communicate with staff it seems There’s no-one working/managing this apartment complex. Please restaff. Residents and prospects are clearly not a happy with the way things are.

Lived here over 2 years. Its not the worse, but it hasnt been the absolute best. Small little issues have turned to big safety hazards when maintenance and management dont communicate.

Just sprayed over things didnt clean toilet still rocks, the Electric isnt fixed in Master screen on patio needs to be fixed, cabinet in kitchen should be changed otherwise you lean over stove to get in cabinet safety hazard.

While I lived there, we have reached out to the office, as well as the maintenance team to fix the leaking in the apartment, which they never did. I even wrote emails to the Property Manager (that has changed for the 3rd time in the past year and a half) as well as tried to arrange meetings with the manager because I suspected mold in my unit. After countless calls and visits to the leasing office, someone finally came to my apartment, looked at the carpet and said there was no mold. The worker did not truly inspect the carpet, but merely looked at it with his eyes alone and left. He was there for merely 5 minutes tops! I have photos of massive amounts of water leaking from my water heater into my HVAC closet, hallway, as well as the master bedroom/bathroom. The water was so bad, that I would have 3 and 4 towels on the floor SOAKED at a time trying to contain the water from spreading. Also, I informed the office months before I was scheduled to move, that water was beginning to soak the wall and the wall was becoming weak from the water damage. Again, no one came out to inspect it and as the water began to leak more, the wall became so weak to where if anything was pressed against the wall slightly, it would crumble. Again, I have pictures and videos to submit to prove my innocence in this matter and honestly, I should have gotten a lawyer and sued the apartment complex. If the situation calls for it, I am willing to get a lawyer now and file a claim against them because they allowed me to stay in the unit after I expressed countless times that I felt like there was mold in the apartment. Within the last 5 months of me living there, I was sick constantly and not feeling well and I knew it had to do with the mold. I will gladly take fault of the dining room chair and the trash bag that was left behind. Though my movers said everything was out of the apartment, it’s obvious that it wasn’t. Also, there was mention about the whole in the ceiling. When I first moved in the apartment, for the first 3 months, I had water leaking from the apartment above me into my hallway. In March, they finally came to “fix” the leak and they left a huge vacancy in the ceiling. About 2 months later (in May) they finally came and did a terrible patch job to cover the hole. This complex is horrible and should be stopped. Did I mention, after I moved out, they sent me a bill of $400 for the damages and mold from the apartment. And theyve changed property managers again.

DO NOT MOVE HERE!!!! if I could give it less stars I would. The office is incredibly unprofessional. I was really hoping for a positive change when they switched management companies, but it has gone bad to worse. No one knows what is going on... you ask to speak to someone who knows what is going on and they all look like a deer in head lights. If youre looking for a place to call home STAY FAR AWAY.

This is supposed to be a business, you think that they would do business professionally. That is NOT the case. I have already sent their assistant manager 2 emails, a week ago. Called the office to see if I had the correct email, which I did, I then asked for the managers since I wasnt receiving a reply back from the assistant. I still have yet to hear from any management in the office. A normal response time is about 24-48 business hours, again, we are going on a week without a response.The only good thing that I have to say about these apartments is the fact that Ricardo does a wonderful job. But, when your management is horrible it kind of trickles down. Regardless of you selling a property and a new company coming in- that doesnt give you the right to ignore residents issues. Especially when they have been trying to get a hold of you for over a week now. Its a JOKE.

If you like bugs, high electricity bills, and asking for maintenance for 6 months this is your place. The pool is full of kids hanging out without adult supervision and horrible influences. Never a problem through bill pay fortunately enough but would HIGHLY suggest you consider somewhere else.

This place is an older building so things may not be as pretty on the outside but the apartments on spacey on the inside and reasonablly prices. I get the community feel here. Families, couples and retired people. It’s not any 5 star apartment but it’s not terrible either. Maintenance has always came at a reasonable time and helped me out.

I have been trying to reach the front office for months. I was interested in moving to this complex but not so much anymore. It’s sad that no one is never available to take calls and no one will return your call after leaving so many messages. This is sad and bad on business. I was trying not to believe the reviews but everything I have read is true!

Avesta Townsend Managers are GREAT!!! Amanda and Sara are very friendly and are well known throughout the rental property as caring people who want you to feel very comfortable in your home. They listen and stay on top of any needs that you require. I lover interacting with them as they walk the property grounds just to say hello to the neighbors. I would highly recommend anyone looking for a place to call home to try Avesta Townsend; you will wonder what took you so long!!!!

I love it here I have lived here for a while it was my husbands and my first place together and we started off in a studio then a 1bed 1 bath now were moving to a 2bed 2bath and we super excited because it has a fire place and tons of room. I also love our office ladies there great.

After living in townsend for almost two years. My first unit was great. Management hadnt changed over yet. Everything was fixed right away and had no issues. As soon as management changed things seemed to go downhill. Our unit has mold and wall damage that has yet to be fixed and no one has contacted us about it. Its has been over a month and it is uncalled for. Will be moving out after the lease is up.

Living here is actually quite nice, allow me to place some context for that statement. The leasing representatives in the front office are quite nice and frequently perform to the best of their abilities. The community when we first arrived two years ago was less than desirable. However much work has taken place to resolve many of the issues. The rent is quite low, the apartment is spacious, and the community with exception of the occasional car stereo is also pleasant. I appreciate that the rent can be paid online or via the rent cafe mobile app, far more convenient than going in person or using bill pay. My wife and I are content to live here and the accommodations are above suitable given the cost of living.

Let me just start off to say, my apartment wasnt even ready AFTER i moved in. But Ricardo from maintenance has done everything he can to get my apartment finished. Felipe also came over with no hesitation to fix my sink and even came to check up on it a day later. I would say the office doesnt have things organized but the maintenance crew really know what their doing. These men, Ricardo, Felipe and Diego deserves raises!!!

Avesta Townsend is a great place to live If youre looking for a cheap, spacious apartment with few amenities. Avesta Townsend has its issues like any other apartment complex, but they have made several improvements over the last 2 years my husband and I have lived here. Overall the price is reasonable, and the front office staff is pleasant to work with. When maintenance issues arise, they are resolved relatively quickly. We had our AC unit stop working last summer and they replaced the air handler without issue. This apartment complex also allows for large dogs without breed restriction. The laundry facilities are decent. Overall not a bad place if you are looking for a basic living space moderately priced.

My tires were slashed and tags were stole within the first month, they towed my car because of the slashed tires and I had to pay over $400 to get it out of impound. Not to mention you can’t leave anything on your back porch because people constantly steal your things. Nonworking fire alarms since the day I moved in. I should have done more research before moving in. You can’t pay your rent with money order, never heard of such a thing.

The people in the office is so unprofessional. I had leakage from hurricane Irma I put in the work order in sept. 2017 they didnt fix anything just painted over the water spots and it took them 1/2018 to come do that! Trash is always outside and there is no privacy due to the walls being so thin.

I heard horror stories about this place. Make sure you or your significant other take turns watching your stuff. Also 911 is a Joke in this town. They do not patrol that part of Townsend.

I ve been here 5 years. The new management has drop the ball. The office staff arent helpful or friendly. It takes them a week or two to fix things now. And the apartments are no longer listed at a valued price. They seriously want $800+ for a 2 bedroom 2 bath, but arent keeping the property up.

When I first walked into the office, I got a warm welcome from the staff and Sarah assisted me throughout the application process, and answered my questions. I got a very good vibe from the place and the location is perfect in relation to my job.

Currently have my bank involved with theft of my cashier check, that know one seems to care about I have been getting the run around for 3 months, I was told I was approved for and apartment, which later came to find out I wasn’t and that my background screening was not even sent through, I’ve recently received a move out paper at my current address, as if I moved in but no refund deposit, the young girls in the office are very unprofessional, we will see who gets the last laugh.

Stay away. Management is not able to work with you. A.C. unit was broken since I basically moved in and when it finally went out, they didnt fix it until a month later and it was in July, one of the hottest months. Said they were reimburse me from when I paid double for my electricity bill, but still havent. Im moving somewhere nicer, closer to work and school. Plus, the area around is not what it was anymore. There was a stabbing across the street recently.

People in the office are nice but neighbors upstairs are horrible. Apartment we are in is raggedy and falling apart daily. Ive been in others and im thinking this one is just an unlucky one...my friend and the ones that burned down are remodeled and seem nice.Maintenance is nice and dont take long to come. Its just a raggedy one we in. Make sure you check Everything before accepting one. We got molded falling apart cabinets and busted up ceilings like they want to cave when my neighbor starts stumping tub was painted over and so was sink so daily paint peels.Air conditioner stays pouring water and making loud noises but they have fixed it. Just looks horrible in there. Well be gone soon thank goodness tired of smelling cigarettes threw the vents and random dogs running up to your car. Overall if these were ALL updated they wouldnt be so bad.
