The Antlers is not for people who desire quality living and services. Since the new Management company-Weller, has taken over is has become. NIGHTMARE! Even the previous office staff, who were pleasant and always eager to assist the tenants have left. The new office manager, I wont give his name is nasty, unprofessional, unwilling to address issues in the community and never available. The trash compactor (pay monthly fee) is always broke and they expect you to keep trash at your place. The Gate has only worked 6 months out of the time Ive resided at the Antlers. When you report something as broken or damaged, the bring old appliances from vacant units. They care more about new tenants than existing tenants. The raccoons, ants, cats, and other stray animals are a nuisance. The apartments have bugs and spiders everywhere.If you want quality live for what you pay for, DO NOT LEASE HERE!

Spacious apartments, nice site design, great pricing compared to the market area, and it sounds like the incoming improvements will be great. I couldnt move in due to my furniture not quite fitting the layout, but Im sure I would have loved it here. Special nod to Taylor from the front office. She was so amazing and friendly; it really was a shame I couldnt make it work.

I have lived here for 4 years now. The maintenance staff is by far the best I’ve had the pleasure of meeting. I have never had a problem that went over just 48 hours most of the service was done the same day I put in a service request. I really enjoy the pool and grill during the warm months. And the office staff is friendly and accommodating. Highly recommend

I have had the pleasure of working with Tiffany Sheaffer. She is truly amazing. She was gracious enough to show upgraded apartment on such a short notice and another client coming in 20 minutes. She stayed in communication with me since I left Jacksonville recently showing me another apartment that was available since the upgraded was lease. Keep my fingers crossed on this one.

I’m giving two stars because I like my neighbors. Within the first month . My microwave, my stove and my Fridge broke. Of course the gate doesn’t work and I don’t believe anyone even cares at this point. There was mold in my dish washer when I moved in. Everyone in my building wants to move out . We are all counting down the days until we can move. I’ve been in older apartments so that’s not an excuse.I paid to have the concrete of my building pressure washed out of pocket because it was so gross.I should have known when I got my keys and the girl said “remember this apartment is older so there may be some cracks “ I should have ran! Take your time and find a better place to live on Southside blv.

I just moved back to the Antlers after having lived in another part of Jacksonville for several months. Why did I return? Because I had a very positive living experience in this community. It is a peaceful community with friendly residents. Also, the property is well-maintained and nicely landscaped.Most importantly, there is a culture of responsiveness among the leasing, maintenance, and management staff. When it comes to excellence customer service, the staff give 110%. My expectations are always exceeded.A tremendous thank you to Ashley C. for making the move-in process smooth and simple, and for her kindness and hospitality.

Do you believe in love at first sight? I did not believe until I come to this place. I just rented a one bedroom apartment & I completely fell in LOVE the moment I entered the unit. Its SPACIOUS! Lauren provided me with personalized service, she is very responsive and had an answer for all my questions. I loved the apartment & the attentions of the staff. Ashley was in charge of showing me the unit & she was very kind, knowledgeable and dynamic just like Lauren. These ladies are simply excellent. I cant wait to move in!

I lived here, within the first month it was a nightmare. The place was infested with roaches. Not just my building, but there were hundreds of dead ones in the fitness center, the laundry room, even floating in the pool. And the maintenance staff was rude and snarky if I dared to ask for anything. They wouldnt let me out of my lease, and that was a really looooong year.

-Good residential complex ( 5 stars)- really good staff ( 5 stars)But-there is no insulation between floors, you hear all the noises from the second floor ( 2 Stars )-bad drivers here, you must attach cameras to your car.

The staff at Antlers are the kindest, most helpful people you will ever meet! They went out of their way to help us meet every need, and were always available and willing to help us before, during, and after our move in. The facilities are gorgeous and very well taken care of. I would HIGHLY recommend Antlers, they’re the best!

Really appreciate the maintenance team, they are very prompt in their services, had AC unit issue it stopped functioning, Eric from maintenance team immediately got an portal AC and raised request for AC unit replacement, it was taken care in couple of days. Though apartments are little old, but the service they are providing even during these crazy times calls for appreciation. Great Job, keep it up !

I just move in this past June and this being my first apartment I am HIGHLY impressed. My apartment was sparkling clean upon move in. New clean carpets and freshly painted walls, and still months into my move I havent had any problems with any rodents or bugs, which is big for me. The area is convenient just a few minutes from the mall, grocery store and a gas station right down the street as well as a pharmacy. I have had the pleasure of speaking with Ashley, Lauren and Josh all of who have been so kind and extremely helpful. Lauren and Ashley both assisted me through my application process and answered any questions I had and gladly resolved any concerns I came across. Josh was there the day I moved in with a smiling face and he warmly welcomed me into my new home! I fee that I am good hands with them around and I appreciate their diligence as a whole. The pools and amenities are is top top shape as well. Apartment hunting was stressful but I am beyond satisfied with me decision living here at Antlers! Thank you Ashley, Lauren and Josh as well!

I have stayed at the Antlers for more than 1.5 years, the staff is really helpful, supportive and courteous, maintenance requests are answered really quick. Lauren, Josh are awesome and have helped me right from day 1 of the application process to the end of my stay. The apartments are nice and comfy - really makes you feel at home. The entire community is nice and you would love your stay here. Unfortunately I had to move bcoz of my Job else would have continued here. 10/10 will definitely recommend to others.

We enjoyed our 2-year stay here at the Antlers. Its conveniently located in the Southside area of Jacksonville and the places we frequent were a few miles away. The Avenues Mall, Town Center, movie theaters, and various restaurants are within close proximity. This family-friendly gated community has two pools, tennis court, racquetball, and fitness room.We NEVER had issues with management. Very friendly staff! If we needed something fixed, theyre taken care of the following day. We had a good rate on our rent too.The only reason for the 3-star rating was due to the gate not working. This is a big deal to me. We picked the Antlers because of convenience, rent rate, and the fact that it is a gated community. Its all about safety and I wanted to be close to the gate. Out of the two years stay, the gate worked for the first two weeks and it stayed open until the day we left. Still a safe area to live in though.

I moved into the Antlers Apartment complex back in April 2020 and Im so glad I did. The complex is in a great location on Southside Blvd, its quite, the other residents here are friendly and very respectful to others. The office staff and maintenance crew are very professional, accommodating and friendly. Overall this is a great place to live and the rental rates are very competitive for this area.

Hello, I have been living here at The Antlers (a gated community) for over 6mths and I absolutely love it here!!! Since day 1 me coming out to view the complex, the staff has been exceptionally nice and professional. It’s so peaceful and quiet out here and my neighbors are very friendly and respectful!! Maintenance is quick, helpful and professional while remaining safe (due to COVID). I have nothing but good things to say out here. I absolutely love it here.

I have lived here for several months very clean and beautiful place but there is no security the gates to the community do not work and they get in at night my car was stolen here and my girlfriends was only opened and the documents stolen and not They do nothing to improve security and neither do those in the office help you at all

Lived here for two years. Maintenance staff and everyone in the office was generally very pleasant.Obviously the gates dont work, and a few of my neighbors had their cars broken into which is a shame bc the gate was one of the things I liked most upon first moving in.Theres also way too many stray cats [20+] in the complex and its a problem theyve done nothing to address.

Management was unresponsive when I had issues getting access to the apartment for a self-guided tour. They charged me $1.50 for a self-guided tour that I couldn’t even do. My money and my time was wasted and still no one has gotten back to me about this issue.

Great place to stay. People complain about the buildings being old, yes it is but very neat and clean. I must say it is still a much better place for many reasons - lot of space between each building, lot of green cover, very nice lawn and pond, ample parking space, well maintained amenities and the location is a definitely a plus. I like the greens and the space. I don’t care about the buildings being old, as long as they are neat and clean. It’s been more than 3 years and trust me I like this place so much that I upgraded from 1 bed to 2 bed apartment just 2 days back. When i moved here in 2017 I saw this apartment was rated 2+ star, but when I visited this place I made my decision to stay here within 5 minutes. Yes people here do complain about security, roaches, gates not working etc., security and roaches can be prevented if one can take extra care and I have witnessed the maintenance looking into this issue not sure why it is not fixed yet. The access gate is insignificant to me as I have seen at many places that tailgating isn’t that difficult :) hahaha.. Great staff - both front office and maintenance. They always go above and beyond to make your stay great. Kudos to the Antlers staff, special mention - Darian from front office, Bessim and Eric from Maintenance team!! I truly appreciate the team and would like to treat the staff with snacks not sure if I can in this COVID situation!!

This is a great place to live, especially for the price. Everyone that Ive interacted with (office and maintenance) has been very friendly and helpful. The complex is pretty well kept, it looks clean from what Ive observed. Theres always a lot of families walking around the complex, which, in my opinion, makes it feel very homey, welcoming, and friendly. Their prices cannot be beaten for the quality that you receive.Ive had a few issues inside of my apartment, but maintenance fixed the problems very quickly (either the next day or within 3 days at most). The breaker had a problem where whenever I would use the microwave, it would shut off all of the power in the sunroom, living room, kitchen, and dining area, requiring me to restart the breaker every time it happened. After maintenance repaired it, Ive never had a problem since. Overall, Im beyond pleased with the maintenance at The Antlers.I gave it 4 stars because the gate is always broken and if youre going to have a gate, then you should at least have one that works. It might be a big deal for those who are concerned about burglary and non-residents. Although that is a concern for me, Ive personally never felt unsafe.

Do not, I repeat do NOT rent an apartment here. This is by far the worst place I’ve ever stayed in. I can’t wait for my lease to be up so I can get out of here. It’s awful, I’ve been living here for 6 months and the gate still hasn’t been fixed. I can name so many things this place needs work on. They just need to destroy the entire apartment complex and re-do it. And I’m going to keep leaving bad reviews.

Good office staff and maintenance crew.A month ago, I faced water pipe leakage problem while pest control guy was doing his job. Maintenance team was quick to call plumber to fix the issue and next day pest control was also completed.Apart from this instance I never faced any other issue.

The grounds are well maintained and the staff are friendly. My apartment was really clean at move in. When I reported a leaking pipe the maintenance came out the same day to fix it and followed up later to make sure the problem had been solved.The staff are always friendly and positive and their response time on emails is really quick. There are always people out walking in the community which gives it a really safe and family-friendly feel.Unfortunately, I have had trouble with making a payment on the online portal on two separate occasions.The second occasion I paid the full amount of rent and in addition paid the next two months rent on the online portal on the 30th and received notice on the 7th that I needed to pay or be evicted. The payment had not properly processed despite notifying me that it had. Antlers added a $100 fee and I had to pay a 2.5% fee to process the late paymentThe first may have been my fault, which is why i didnt update my review then. Rent charged to an old card that was declined since it was no longer in use--I may have mistakenly selected it, however with the quality of the payment portal it would not surprise me if it was not my error.Further, at contract signing I was told the gates at the front of the community would be repaired. After several months of living here they are still broken and the complex recently sent out an email warning about car-jacking in the area instead of fixing the gates.I would imagine an apartment complex that is on notice about an influx of criminal activity in the area would owe a duty to residents to protect them from that type of criminal activity.

I moved here 8 months ago and from the first day that I moved up to now only problems. I have at least 10 work orders that have gotten completed but they fix something and damage something else. All the cabinets are very very old. And they show you the model apt but when u move in you get an apt with old appliances old bathroom. I can’t even come out of my apt without having flies come in because of all the stray cats that hang in the stairs then you have tenants who take turns feeding the strays. There’s a lot more negative to say but I’ll be here writing until tonight.

Love living here. Only negative is you get charged massively in fees (over $100/month) and trash service sucks. If there was valet trash for the $40 they charge, Antlers would be perfect.Update: After seeing Antlers’ response to me, I verified my bill. The trash fee is $23. Sewer service is $60 and water is $20. It is a community meter so can’t do much about the charge. That is where my over $100 a month came from. Took a star away for the misleading response.

I applied the apartment in March 2014 and I paid application and admin fee. They asking me to come and collect the key on so an so date. but I got a call from the leasing office 3 days before date saying that the apartment is not available. They are asking me to go with the other apartment with the current reat[you know how much cost if I book the apartment just 3 days before]. I am not interest to go with the current rate. So I said, I can go with the current available apartment with the same price.. since you[Leasing office] didnt give the apartment which I booked and paid. They said no... Then I asked them give me my amount back. They said.. they cant give the full amount[application fee 50$ cant refund]..I try to explain them...This is not my issues. why should I pay the application fee since this is your problem...I tried to reach out the Manager... It was very difficult to reach out the manager. I went couple of time... The manager is always not available. I sent the email to the BELL regional manager... No response... The entire management is not good. The behavior or attitude[I am not sure how to say] is not good. I discussed with lot of residents... everybody have the same kind of thoughts about the Antlers leasing office. I tired lot of time... I couldnt fight with them. Still now I didnt get the application fee. I got only the admin fee.My advice.... Please think 100 times before going to ANTLERS... Please check with the couple of residents before you sign into the leasing.

Front gate has not worked in 2 years, when requested to fix it the front office staff informed is they dont need to repair it as it is not the reason we pay to live here. We have had our car stolen previously. On 10/7/2020 a drunk driver had entered the complex, tore the bumper off a neighbors van, damaged 3 other cars, and almost hit my significant other. Their response was to not fix the entry gate.

My experience at Antlers was fine. Its not a luxury apartment home, so dont expect the Ritz. You get what you pay for. I never had any issues with maintenance or staff. If I had to put in a maintenance request, it was fixed within 24 hours. I decided not to renew my lease because I wanted an upgrade, not because I had a poor experience. The only complaint I have is the unnecessary $20 trash fee. If youre going to charge a trash fee, then you should have valet trash. I should not have to pay extra for one trash bin that I have to drive my trash to. Water is also metered on by the building, not just what you use. Gym is tiny with broken machines. The gates never works, and when they do, they never warn you and you could be stuck outside of the complex without your gate key. All in all, a decent first apartment for college grads or young professionals, but if youre looking for upgrades, go elsewhere.

After have a nightmare of a renting experience at my first apartment complex, The Antlers was a breath of fresh air. Josh was my leasing agent and went above and beyond for me. He remembered my name the day I came to move in even though we had only met once before. I ran into a couple minor issues which were taken care of almost immediately. Constance is the property manager and really cares about your experience. She is very kind and understanding. I would highly recommend renting from this team!

I moved in last month with my boyfriend and we love it here. Ill list some of my favorite things.-The apartments are well kept and clean. You can tell the place is taken care of.-The trash is always handled well. If people put their trash outside of the compactor, an employee will pick it up or ask the tenant politely to put it in the compactor. Either way, I never see trash sitting out for long.-I have no issues with my downstairs neighbors! The last place I stayed was very old and the downstairs neighbor could hear us walking around all the time and she would bang on the ceiling. Here, the floors and roof are very insulated so I never hear my neighbors and I assume they dont hear me.-Maintenance works very quickly. I used the shower one night and I guess there was a leak from it so the water was leaking to the downstairs apartment. The maintenance crew came the next day to solve it.-I havent seen any bugs at all! Again, very clean apartments.-My 1 bed/1 bath is very spacious with the floor plan I chose. It has a den as well as a sun room. The living room is large with a fireplace. The den could easily be converted to a second bedroom or guest room if needed. For now we use it as a sports and video game room. It also gets a lot of natural light and an awesome view of the two lakes.And those are just a few since Im so new to living here. As soon as I saw the unit I moved in to, I fell in love with it. Id honestly buy the unit if it were available as a condo. Ill write another review at the end of my lease with any updates!

Liked- Small quiet community,friendly staff,gated community,I only moved because I was getting married and needed a bigger space,which was not available at the time.Disliked: Gates always broken,staff not friendly when moving out. I lived in a one bedroom apartment for one year. No pets,kids,just myself. I was told the carpets had to be replaced and was charged over $500. I admit to stains that could have been cleaned,but I dont think carpets needed to be replaced. The same for the countertops,there was a stain,they claimed the counter top needed to be replaced, I was charged as well. Also there was a microwave that came with the apartment,but when I moved out they said it was not theres and charged me for a missing microwave. I think that a one bedroom apartment is not in the market nowadays and I may have been the first and the last in a long time, that someone rented that apartment. I think they charged me to have the place fixed up so that they can rent it out for a cheaper price. But as you can see from other reviews, i am not the first person they have done this to.I too took up my complaints with corporate and they were no help either.SO,BEWARE!

My experience living here has been nice. I have lived here for two years. Building 5 (my building) has quite the bug problem, however they were coming in under the door so I asked maintenance to install a rubber door cover along the bottom so that it sealed better. Spraying Raid under the door monthly helps a lot as well. Now, I see a roach maybe once a month as compared to twice daily before maintenance. Maintenance is fairly on top of orders (coming the next day or within a couple days), so if you have a bug problem, you can most likely find some way of fixing a gap in a floor or window with maintenance.The gate usually works. It breaks down on occasion like every gate (possibly once every 4-6 months) but is usually fixed within a week and I believe it closes early around 6pm. I have heard of 2 or maybe 3 car break-ins since living here the past 2 years, but I find that to be low compared to other communities due to the gate, and I am a frequent neighborhood biker and I always feel pretty safe. The community is always clean including (usually) the pools. I have not used other facilities here. The staff is always super friendly (I have interacted with every employee there and can promise all experiences have been positive ones). Only prominent issue for me is the trash compactor breaks down often, but then we just put trash outside of it. Also, we receive frequent and helpful emails for anything such as pest control dates, trash compactor breakdowns, events and the very seldom break-ins. Only moving out to locate closer to UNF, but good place for a college student like myself.

The reason I choosed this apartment was its a gated community and most of my friends are here. You know what? The gates of this community never closed n broke always. Dont know they ever repaired and someone stoles the all four wheels of my friends car. And it was sittings on the ground with the support of the stones when he saw next morning. I feel very bad about the way leasing office works here. They are the one who steels money from you. The community is not safe the gate password is know to every one still they didn’t changed it. Even after robbery instances happened here. I saw this year I know two robbery instances happens here. Be careful.1. Condo constructed 1983 too old.2. All appliances wont work as they are old. Not maintained well.3. Power bill go high as ac wont work.4. If you report anything temporary fixes only.5. Trash comparator won’t work every week I see people put trash outside of the trash comparator. Last year trash comparator didn’t work almost 6months. But they charge a lot for trash around 40 bugs. It’s not even valet trash.6. Carpet they tell it’s new, but it’s not good as when you see the apartment they will do all decorations like spray to smell good, green plastic limes in the glass pot. etc.7. One pool near leasing office is clean and the other back of the community is not clean.8. One rocket ball court ac works and second rocket ball court ac is not working I complained couple of times they said it is fixed. I said if you come with me I will show its not fixed,but still not yet fixed.They are not clean.If you keeping complaining they will this how it works. If you are not satisfied you can leave that is what they give answers.

Where to start..I have been here on the property for almost 3 1/2 yrs 2 yrs at one apt floor plan and 1 1/2 at another. When I first move here the staff was pleasant and authentic and the maintenance crew was friendly. I left the property for roughly about 6 months and then returned back last year to the current apartment. Let’s just say I should have not returned back no matter the price. The first yrs should have been a sign..I have one their maintance crew come up to me, and talk down to me because I swerved around the crews car to get to my building. This guy named Tim who never introduced himself as property maintenance crew came at me in a agreesive manner to tell me about my driving. I went to apartment “mgr” and she took to his defense and she was fake on the carring. I never got a call back of the outcome, he still works on the property. The next issue was one of the numerous issue of the amenities not even being used for the sake of what they are meant for the tenants to use ie, tennis courts being used as a playground and Racquet Ball court as a “ town gathering hall”. It took months to get the “mgr” to rectify the issue after many reports and complaints. The gates have been broken forever it seems a long time, as the owner of the property should just take the gates out. The only time they are out is on a daily property check that rare. They are more like desk robots just taking applications and not researching the tenets file before a face to face regarding the lease renewal. The fees are over rate and more money for the high figure salaries, then for the property. The “property enhancements”are not statically thought out. Lastly, do not get a bottom unit in any of the buildings. I am in a situation that I have a upstairs tennenat that is not respectful of their neighbors. I tried to get the “mgr” for help about the issues, and she is ignorant to the issues and plays the know it all attitude. I just had to renew my lease with the unfortunate misconception of not being told my previous pet fee would increase, even though I was renew and not leaving and I was not told about the increase. LIVE HERE AT YOUR OWN RISK!!!you are paying for poorly managed housing at its best!Update to response:Bell is the shadiest management company, as no one wants to contact me back. The “ manager” has never contacted me back regarding those issue or follow up on current issues. I had to call the office for status and they were not forth coming with the outcome of the issue. The “manager” likes to add her own opinion and not be bipartisan to the issue. Customer Service you posted the response of all what the manager states, but she is telling half truths. The “District Manager “ has not contacted me after leaving 3 messages. I can’t wait to leave this unorganized rental community and property management company!

No. Just no. We stayed here for a year and when we signed the lease the woman wouldn’t show us around, or inside of ANY of the apartments to get a feel of what it may look like. We were in a bind and needed a home so we took it. They only care about turning over units as sloppy as possible. Only two bedrooms, no kitchen space AT ALL. At first glance, the fire place was an alright touch but the placement made it impossible for us because our tv was too big to mount, forcing us to just set our tv to the side of it. Very disappointing.we couldn’t just swap because of the placement.The island was bent down and we couldn’t put things on it without them sliding off. The “sun room” they push for the bottom floor is just an awkward area near the back. No real lay out that would work. That’s just the issues from FIRST glance.The property is infested with creatures. We stayed on a side unit and there was this Bush part very close to our unit that clearly needed to be removed. We call that “the jungle” From move in to move out we’ve seen over 50 snakes of all types. By our front door- everywhere. The maitence tried arguing with me about the poisonous ones I’ve seen and claimed those types are restricted to “wooded area” such as where we were located....the moment it’s dark- possums and raccoons are roaming around. Even in the day time I seen a sickly raccoon that had trash on his neck. How do they fix the snake issue? Harsh snake away alllllll over your porch, and that smell is awful. It’s so strong, I couldn’t even allow my daughter outside. They sprinkle the stuff all over the place and it doesn’t even work like I’ve told them so many times.Don’t get me started with their greed: the moment you’re late they will tack a 3 day pay or quit to your door. Even when they know when we get paid and assure us “that’s fine, you’re good” just to stress us out. And the price. They have lost their minds. The place is so small there is no hallway. The price they ask for is just outrageous. The community is filled with nice people, but there are several people walking around in the middle of the roads, while kids run out in the street on bikes. There have been so many times with the same family I could have hit their children. The apartments do not care to stop the hanging out in the streets and people standing allllll over. The tennis court is always used up, and animals lay out and pretty much live there.They love to charge you if you have a few things on your porch. Such as a towel drying from the pool, a stroller. They charge you for it. The trash is a huge problem. It just piles up. I’ve been in my car and see maitnece just drive past the trash piling at the dump and kick them to the side.The Contractors they have to fix things just walk on in. One morning (the apartment never told me they were coming, or when to fix an ac issue) they walked right into my bedroom while I was half naked sleeping on my day off. Very early. Before 9:30AM.The maintenance really is an issue. A few of them were awesome men but a couple were so rude and know-it-all’s. We had NO ac in our rooms. And he tried telling us we needed to keep the doors opened at all time for circulation. In that tiny apartment with a baby that sleeps in rooms and we have to shut the doors. There was no reason that tiny tiny apartment couldn’t cool down with the doors being shut. He finally realized nothing was blowing from vents and he as soooo smug. The gates that im sure we paid extra for “security” has been broken since move in. Both of them on front and side. During this time, weve had our car broken into, and there has been several car thefts and Home Invasions. They do not take your Saftey seriously at all but I can assure you they must dock you for the gate with monthly rent. The list goes on. You can get a way better value elsewhere. These property management companies are just awful. No professionalism where it counts. I really tried hard to like it because the area I feel like you were paying for location. But no one should have to live in squalor. Save your $

I moved here 2 month back. And i really liked the place. its well lighted place, you can easily walk in the evening even at 10 PM you dont feel any problem. Its also close to market place. the Complex is also very clean and quite. NO loud music and people here also are very good. This place has a lot of Indian. The Maintainance is excellent over here, and repond very promptly.

Worst experience ever. I live here and hate it I cant wait until my lease is up. The office staff is rude and there are always people walking on the middle of the road. A lot of Indians leave here they are nice but it is a lot of them in this neighborhood. I would rather pay more and live in a decent community. The gates never work and only worked about three months out of the year I have been here. Rent at your own risk

I relocated to FL from MI & Ive been living here 2 years. The apt itself is nice & roomy. Could use a little update to the kitChen cabinets. The maintenance crew always address issues in a timely manner. The front is helpful for the most part. However the deltas would be 1. If ur gonna chg us for trash please male sure its picked up in a timely manner. Not sitting in front of the trash compressor the entire wknd. 2. The security gates in the back almost never works. If Im paying rent I need everything to work & properly! I have called about the gate several time & guess what gate still doesnt work!

Please stay away. Poor maintenance, unskilled staffs and more. Seeing worst things continuously like not inoperable gates and garbage dumpster, worst washer / dryer, broken dishwashers, poor water pipes which are not able to handle water pressure, Useless pest control, unreasonable water / sewage amount and still more minus ... Not interested to give one star too... Its always worth to pay $100 to $ 200 extra to get better community... Yes of course I started to look better one

Since Ive moved in, ive had many, many issues with the management. The apartment was not cleaned.There was earrings on the cabinets, the carpet was dirty and was not replaced. The edges were lifted and I found a cockroach as well as a cigarette butt. My vents were not cleaned, my AC filter was not replaced.My microwave was not tested and nearly suffocated me in the apartment. It didnt help that my windows would not open because they werent fixed from damages or properly lubricated of the windows that would work with great force.The bathroom was not cleaned, the broken tiles were not replaced. The toilet was not tested to flush properly. The stoves are electric and were not repaired prior to moving in, placing me in risk of fire.Its been months and my apartment still hasnt been repaired from the initial requests to repair. Given, the management requested which repairs I require, yet fail to complete their duty.The gym is not properly maintained, the pools are always dirty and never cleaned. The jacuzzi does not work, so dont count on amenities if you think this will be a great place. Unless you are Indian, Bengali, or Sri Lankan, there is no community within the apartment complex that they market on.There is many Nutria, which are not controlled and they do place dangers for your pets. The management does not give warning upon entering your apartment.Speaking of pets, dont think that you can freely walk your pet, or allow your pet to pee on the lawn in front of your apartment. You have to magically communicate to your pet through some miracle not to pee on the grass in front of your apartment, but in the pet walking zones which are covered in Nutria and Goose feces.They have no walkways for pedestrians, you are constantly at risk of being run over or running over a pedestrian mostly kids who run into the street. There are limited trash cans, requiring you to carry your dogs feces for hundreds of yards; and there are only two pet feces pick up stations.Dont think that you have a gate entry either, the gate works once every 2 weeks. The rest of the time it remains open. Its funny that the gate to enter is open 24 hour of the day, yet the gate to leave stays closed. One of the gates was completely removed offering entry and exit freely, by anyone. Theres no point in a gate anymore.The services required from the management such as fixing roofs from hurricane damage is very slow to save themselves a buck. I was left with a machine running for one week. They came in turned it off and took half of the machine without fixing the roof. It took one whole month to fix the roof and they refused to lower the cost of rent for the inconvenience.I move almost every year, and the Antlers has by far had the worst management, and been the worst apartment complex Ive lived in.

Im glad I didnt read the google reviews seriously and steer away from the complex because my experience has been the complete opposite. Im ranking my experience at 4. My experience has been nothing but smooth and consistent. The front office has been constant with clear communciation, very friendly and welcoming. They even recognize me by face and say hi Emily to me everytime. They returned my emails in a timely manner during the leasing process. They worked with me and walked me through everything. Move in was easy. I got brand new carpet and freshly painted walls. I did have mantinence come out to fix a squeak in my cabinets but even the maintenance guy was pleasant. A week into living yhere hurricane Matthew came, I stayed in my apartment for that whole weekend. I never lost electricity and I had no damage done. The office kept emailing me and keeping me up to date with everything and they responded quickly with getting the debris out and fixing other peoples repairs. Yes the complex is pimarily Indian people but its a nice change of scenery when you see parents outside walking with their kids instead of bottled up in the house. Gives a sense of safety knowing potential criminals might be seen by neigbors. I have not used the amenities so I have no comment on that. It is a shame that the gates are broken, I wish they were fixed. But overall, Ive been living in the antlers for a month now and I can honestly say that I have not experienced anything that anyone has in the previous comments. My advice is when you move in make detail notes on the condition of the place so you dont get charged and take care of it. Im happy with my residence at the antlers so far. Please check out the place for yourself before you judge is based off of all the negative comments from other people.

The people at the office are very rude they made fun of one of my employers when they went with me to the office he is from another country and dresses a little different then us americans, they basically made him cry, i tried reaching out to the corporate BELL but they didnt respond, they screwd me over on my rent as well

Would want to put a zero star...No basic manners in addressing customers.Management office doesnt help and assist on options and at times responds harshly.If not for the community of friends around, many of my friends (atleast 10 apts) wouldve been vacated...Has been for 2.5 years and none of the time the management was helpful...charged around 1500$ for a sink top ...that in a v.old appt.. in which sink top was used for years... they used my money to renew their apt.in one occasion, the tennis court was out of light for many days .. when we went to report, management harshly responded that we shouldnt care about the lights and thus the light switches will be locked. those lights willl be ON as they like....In spite, if not for friends, wouldve vacated earlier...

Please avoid this apartments. I have been living here for last 2 years and, trust me, you dont want to come here. People in the leasing office are unpleasant and unprofessional. The apartments are very very old and if you are not careful they will break or render it in non working condition and, on top of that, leasing office will charge a hefty sum for replacement. It not just happened to me but to most of my neighbors. Please stay away from this horrible place!!!!
