I love the apartment itself, and the community feels very safe and is nice to walk around in/nice visually. Anna, our leasing agent is incredible and very helpful. The only reason I dont give it 5 stars is the issues weve had with communication regarding maintenance and the main office over the past year that weve been at this facility.

The Enclave is simply amazing. The Luxury Apartments makes it justice because the staff is very nice, the maintenance is IMPRESSIVE! Pest control, newly-renovated apartments (painted, carpeted, laminated, etc.) They even give you filters at the clubhouse. The fact that the gates are closed, gives you a feeling of security and privacy. Neighbors are also very decent and good to have around. There is always staff cleaning the pools, painting, leaf-blowing, etc., maintenance guys golf-carting around, and management really helps you solve issues. The gym is awesome as well as the business center. The decorators are really good. Props to Janine, Amanda, Kristen and Brittany and the whole STAFF that works there. 💪👌💥🎨😊

Before move in, we have had a great experience. Everything went so smoothly until we drove 33 hours from Colorado to move in. The day we got our keys, we enter to find 2 beetles on the floor, a missing outlet cover in our bedroom, 3 outlets were not working at all... 2 in which were in the restroom so I could not even blow dry my hair in there. The cabinets have tape all over them holding the wood paneling in place instead of just replacing the already pealing paneling on the cabinets. I have had countless beetles in here, found one crawling on me in bed which was unpleasant. About 5 days into living here, our microwave quit working as well so we had no microwave to used for the entire weekend until Tuesday. So about 5 days. There is an enormous flood every time it rains outside of our patio, everyone else doesn’t have this issue... I checked. The worst part is the vents were not cleaned!!!! There is black mold all inside the vent (as shown in the photo) that is unacceptable!! Not to mention, where this vent is, there were clear water drip marks underneath. We asked them to repaint that and they did, so they were eye to eye with a black mold infested vent and did not care that that is what we are breathing in. Xfinity had to come to our apartment as well because our connectors in our box were disconnected in the closet connector space. So we couldn’t connect our internet ourselves. We pay almost $1400 for a one bedroom apartment. I am very unhappy. Although I will say the employees are very nice. That’s about it.

I lived here for 3 years and for the most part, it was a good place to live. We stayed 3 years mostly out of convenience. The office staff is nice, although impossible to reach by phone. I almost always had to walk up to the office to talk to someone. The dog park is a joke. It is pretty much a fenced in run-off, always wet and buggy, never maintained by maintenance staff, dog poop everywhere. There were MANY break-ins while I lived there. Several stolen cars. I know these things happened because it was my neighbors who were burglarized and I spoke to the cops on a few occasions. Also my friend in the back of the neighborhood would tell me when things happened in her area. The Enclave staff would NEVER alert the residents with a letter. The security gate was broken and open a lot of the time I lived there. When we moved out, we got charged for so many minuscule things. Ive lived in many apartments and have never been charged for the types of things they charged us for. We got charged for the carpeting, but that should have been replaced regardless, we lived there for THREE YEARS (with a dog!) with normal wear and tear. Over the years I lived there, I saw many of my neighbors move out and pretty much ALL had carpeting replaced. We should not have been charged for something that they would have been replacing anyway.

My daughter recently lived at The Enclave, so Im not rating on how it was to personally live here, but instead on how much she was nickeled and dimed by management. A lot of surprise one-sided charges. Pet fees, water usage overages (which is based on how much other apartments use), an outrageous late fee when the automatic payment that was set up through their system didnt work right, and piddly damage charges after she left. I was with her when she moved out and the apartment was left in good condition, just normal wear, but they basically wanted everything replaced. A few examples are a new carpet, window blinds, odor fee (?), even a charge to mail her a letter on the charges. They didnt do a joint walk through and waited until after she left to notify her of the final charges so there was really no fair way to contest these charges. Personally, Im just happy that she is no longer living there.

For the most part living at the Enclave hasnt been terrible but not ok either, the maintenance team takes care of most issues that are presented to them but i have 1 big issue to report that the apartment management refuses to take care of due to the cost of possibly being able to resolve the issue. There is a water pipe that isnt secured in place that is connected to the shower in the apartment that is above me, this issue causes the pipe to move back and forth when in use which sounds like a loud continuous leak that WILL wake you up when you are sleeping. I brought this issue up to management and was basically told to deal with it and that its apart of living in a apartment but their slogan is “taking care of the way YOU live”. Also, the maintenance team completed a work request in my apartment and informed me about the completion by taking a paper plate that was in my trash can, flipping it upside down, writing what they did on it and leaving it at the entrance of my apartment. My 18 years of military service has had me stationed in Louisiana, Virginia, California, Japan and in Mayport on 2 separate occasions, in the places i lived at in those locations i have never experienced something like that. I will be moving out when my lease is up, the only reason i havent moved out is because i will still have to pay the remainder of the lease term***Update 20OCT20*** Not sure who added the generic copy and paste reply that was replied to this feedback on the enclave but i already brought up my quality of life issue and no one in management will do or did anything about it. Reason why i am moving out.

One of the worst apartments complexes I have ever lived in. Management and maintenance are incompetent. We have what should be a new apartment, according to the lease. Our apartment is filled with all outdated appliances, leaking thin walls and mold. The AC unit has broken more times than I can count! Feral cats surround the complex, attacking people and children. They destroy property and will sneak into your apartment/vehicle. Raccoons and opossums are in the trash and all over the horribly maintained landscape. Major pest problem! This is not a family friendly environment! Aggressive neighbors, fighting and screaming at 4am. Parking is a nightmare, your car will get damaged or you might get run over at any time. The community is overall great. I prefer quieter neighborhoods, while at the same time I can still find friendly faces. The employees here are helpful and friendly, always polite. My only complaint is that, compared with other nearby communities, the enclave doesn’t put in as much effort to create an enticing or attractive entrance, especially during holidays. Other housing communities will put up holiday decorations or at least colorful or attractive lighting at the entrance of their communities. THE enclave’s first impression, especially in the evenings, is noticeably drab and dull compared to others.

When I moved to The Enclave in October 2018, there were over 25 dead roaches in my kitchen cabinet. I called the front office immediately and they stated that maybe the individuals who cleaned the apartment did not clean it well. Since October 2018, I have seen multiple huge roaches and when pest control comes, they barely sprays. Around January 2019, my window and vents started leaking once it rained. I called the front office on this issue, and they did not have this issue fixed until 3 weeks later. Maintenance came to paint over the water damage and they did a horrible job. Another thing is The Enclave is suppose to be a gated community, however, the gate is constantly broke. Don’t have any animals or small children, because apparently if you make any noise, your downstairs neighbors are allowed to bang on your floor, come to your apartment, vandalize your items, and threaten you. But if you don’t report it first, you’re in the wrong. Even when you have proof. Overall, The Enclave is a highly unprofessional establishment. You would do great financial wise and with a piece of mind if you chose another apartment complex. There is not anything “Luxury” about The Enclave.

I lived in the Enclave for a little over 2 years. There are good points and bad points to living there. The good - at first it was really good -- nice, well kept grounds, friendly neighbors, cool community and resident appreciation events. Maintenance staff is friendly too. The bad -- a serious cockroach problem, that persisted the entire time I lived there, ongoing garbage disposal problem, and at the end, safety. The area overall is safe, but, safety became a serious problem inside the complex while I was living there. A few months before I moved out, somebody attempted to break into the front door of my apartment in the middle of the night. It was very scary. The man was banging and ramming my front door, saying he was a neighbor, but, I knew everybody in the building and he was not. I called the police, and it took them 10 minutes to get there -- which felt like an eternity. After the incident, the complex was notified by the police, but they said NOTHING. Really terrible.

From the time that I was apartment searching and especially during my move in, this community has been perfect and extremely helpful. I was moving down from Houston, Texas, and did not properly account for the hour in time that I would lose when I crossed into Florida. My GPS placed me at The Enclave at 6:10, ten minutes after they were scheduled to close. I stayed in constant contact with Daniel throughout my drive down and he offered to stay late so that I could receive my keys. I am so grateful for him doing that for me because after traveling over thirteen hours I did not want to not be able to receive my keys that day. When I arrived after six, the other staff member who was still there greeted me warmly, and Daniel was so helpful and nice. The few issues that I did have (a shelf needed a screw, the toilet made a hissing noise when flushed, the washing machine shook horribly when on the spin cycle, and a mirror in the bathroom needed tightening) were all fixed two days after I turned in my unit inspection form. Other than those issues, the apartment was very clean and in great condition. The community is very peaceful. I do have someone who lives above me who plays the piano at six every morning, but it is an apartment and I cannot expect for people above me to walk on eggshells because someone lives below them. If I did not want to hear anyone above me, I would have moved into a house. I never have issues with parking. I am able to park right outside of my apartment so that I can see my vehicle from any window that I look out of.I have lived in other apartments where some of the staff has been rude, so this was a huge change for me because everyone is extremely nice. I will recommend this community to anyone searching for an apartment and I plan on spending all three years of law school in this community.

I have been living here for over 14 months, and have never been late on rent. This past weekend I was out of town due to my significant other having a surgery. I got in late on Saturday the 3rd of the month when rent is due, and ended up paying rent 36 min late. They charged me the $110 (%10 of the monthly rent) late fee for being late. Now dont get me wrong I agree I should be charged for this, because I was late and that is my fault. However, the service after is very poor. The leasing office cannot make any decisions autonomously. They just say they will Check with the higher ups. All this leads to is poor service for the residents, because the staff can just blame everything on the overseeing company policy. This is not the first time I have been told that they cannot do something due to the higher ups.Update: The management of my specific building has reached out to me to discuss the policies they have in place. They have voiced my concerns to the appropriate people. I am upgrading this review to 3 stars from 1 star showing that I believe that the management of my building is doing its part in making this community a great place to live. However, in order to get up to 5 stars the overarching policy from the parent company will need to change. They need to give the property managers some power to manage their properties as they see fit and treat the residents like humans, and not numbers.

I upped my budget when i chose to live at The Enclave. I had heard great things about this complex and it appeared to be beautiful. Unfortunately, my move in ready unit was the exact opposite. After spending a day moving up 3 flights of stairs my AC was not working the first night. I decided to open the windows but those also did not work. The windows had to be propped open with chair legs. The ice machine was not working, a freezer shelf was so frozen it broke off from placing a bag of vegetables on it. The shower drain did not work. The dryer was broken and leaking water. Upon opening the AC unit to try to figure out what was wrong the filter was black with dust and grime. This is how a turned move in ready unit looks at The Enclave.A couple weeks later i discovered fleas in my apartment. I do not and never have owned an animal and live on the third floor. There are some chew marks on the baseboards as well that i am sure i will be charged for, but was told no animals ever lived there. Pest control came and treated for fleas.Upon move in i was told i had to sign the inspection form in exchange for my keys despite the fact that i had not seen the unit which clearly had too many issues for one sheet anyway. I am sure they will use this against me to charge me even more upon move out.I have since unfortunately stayed in the same unit for the last 6 months. During that time my dryer has had to be repaired again. The biggest issue is my AC has broken FIVE times in 6 months! This is absurd. Every time i come home from work i am told that it is after 5 and it is not considered an emergency that my unit is a scorching 82-86 degrees and i must wait until the next business day. Every time it is a temporary fix while avoiding resolving the actual issue. No AC unit should take 5 times to repair. Now we are in July the brunt of the summer and it once again has gone out once again. My electric bill is $100 for a one bedroom since my AC unit constantly runs 24/7 and does not efficiently cool.Parking is an absolute nightmare & the trash compactor is always overflowing into the back street. The management company is absolutely horrible. I have seen a few new faces and hopefully they are better than the previous staff.I NEVER yelp or review and had initially wrote a similar review after the first couple instances. I felt bad and did not want to to be that person so i took it down and left it alone. 6 months later, i would rather be that person and save someone from making the mistake i did of ignoring the terrible reviews when i moved in. I figured it was a bitter person but boy was I wrong. I wish I had stuck to my budget and lived somewhere that is actually livable. The units are beautiful but sadly this place is a disaster.

There is always a hassle with the gate. Either you remote won’t open the gate or the gates are just left open to let anyone in. Which takes away all security. The box at the front gate that guest use to get in hasn’t worked in 3-4 months. So if you have someone over you have to go all the way to the front gate to let them in which is extremely inconvenient. I have made multiple complaints about it and they do nothing about it. The buildings were built very poorly. You can hear everything your neighbor is doing around you. I have requested maintenance on things that the complex maintenance people have said need to be replaced. And when they come they act like they don’t know what they’re doing and leave notes saying I need to be more descriptive of the problem. I have previously requested my alarm system to get fixed because it looked like the plug was shorting out (which is a fire hazzard) and all they came to do was cut the plug to the security box so we can’t use it at all. Which takes away from my own personal security. Also had another issue where the back gate malfunctioned and closed on my vehicle. When I brought it to the attention of the management office they were very rude and told me it wasn’t they’re fault and that it was my wrong doing. They also proceeded to tell me I was lying and that I never used my remote to get in and that I speed up to follow the car in front of me in. Which is not true at all. I 10 out of 10 do not recommend this place. For the money you spend here you can live somewhere with better management and better built structures.

Things didnt work out and we didnt move in. It has been almost two months since I gave them a deposit. The leasing professional (and I use that term loosely) has failed to follow through despite my repeated calls for the return of my deposit. I have recommended two people to the Enclave that have chosen other places after visiting. Their experience was good during the tour but they went elsewhere for convenience. I suppose it was a blessing that things didnt work out since we now have a place we love that is closer to work and school. I must wonder if this is the follow through I would have received had we signed a lease. I dodged a bullet I suppose and would just like my refund which is almost 2 months late.

For the most part, this apartment community is a pretty good place to live. They have two pools, a dog park, and a gym. All are mainly well kept. The apartments are nice, and the appliances almost never malfunction. There are a few issues with cracking paint and decoration (counter covering) kind of falling off, but thats not really important in the grand scheme of things. I do want to warn that even though it advertises itself as a gated community, the gates are often open after hours either because theyre broken or someone forgot to close them. If thats what youre looking for, you may be better off somewhere else. Otherwise, its probably the best bang for your buck in the area.

Avoid this place at all costs. We had a ton of issues with our neighbors below us harassing us about our dog. The apartment jumped to conclusions and sent us a warning to cure the situation without even doing proper investigation. They eventually spoke with other neighbors who denied that our dog was a problem. On top of that the apartment complex sent us a letter while we were out of town after we moved out that needed signature delivery. When we called to ask them what it was about they said that they hadn’t sent anything, not to worry and that our deposit would be sent back in 3-4 weeks. I of course checked online and they’re trying to say we owe $600 in damages when I have pictures of everything. Absolutely ridiculous.

The management team harasses and doesnt display any ethical values. The upgraded unit is nice, however it is infested with ants. Ive lived there 11 months and these people have harassed me the entire time because my son was visiting and touch the officer locked up bike. He came to my residence threaten my 18 year old son in front of my 10 year old son. Then proceeded to say that he will get me evicted which they tried but was unsuccessful. So they decided not to renew my lease I retaliation to a matter that could have been easily resolved when I first heard of the situation from my son and reached out to the office. The office is highly effective at not communicating with each other, losing important identity sensitive paperwork, and not resolving the roach infestation on the grounds. Luxury Apartments because your rent will be over $1350 for a two bedroom one bath, and they have two pools with a front security gate that does NOT close. Ask about it and theyll tell you its under maintenance, or they are waiting for a part. They take nickel and dime-ing to a new level when you move out as well. ex) Asked if we should have the carpets cleaned since we were moving out to which we were told not to because the apartment was going to be gutted for renovations. A week after we moved we were charged to replace the carpet. They had one picture that was zoomed up so close to the ruined portion, you couldnt tell which room or even it was even our apartment. Enclave called me the MORNING of the first day of the lease to inform me that there was no apt available because of AN UNCONTROLLABLE FLEA INFESTATION, (at the same time movers in Dallas were loading my stuff onto the moving van!!!) Not only did we have no address to provide the movers, but no place to live and had to search for a home while driving from Dallas to Jax in time to meet the movers! To add insult to injury, the arrogant manager refused to help find other housing, or compensate for storage fees/and additional move.....AND our credit scores have decreased because of the excessive credit inquiries incurred from the multiple leasing companies we were forced to apply to!Isnt it an apt managers job to be aware of the condition of the property they manage? AND to fulfill the terms of a Lease? ....and more important, to make honest, reliable representations to potential tenants BEFORE leasing to them?I wonder if the other tenants and the Board of Health are aware of Enclaves uncontrollable flea infestation or if the apartment associations are informed of Enclaves reckless disregard for tenants rights.

They charge too much for what you get, good luck with all the noise at night from people partying and their were so many things broken the day we moved in which we should not have to call maintenance for if the apartment was inspected before we moved in!

Very unsafe location. No security or surveillance. Last week my car was stolen from this apartment complex. According to police, two other vehicles were stolen and multiple vehicles were broken into the same night. Gates are always broken. Management is not helpful. Stay away. Very shady.

Horrible corporation! They will nickel and dime you for everything and come up with ways to charge you more when you move out.

Clean, friendly - but bad about enforcing the no smoking rules in common areas. A lot of inconsiderate Navy d-bags.
