We had unit fixed w exact same parts and labor for 1/3 what they quoted us to fix.

Dylan Brown and his crew did a fantastic job. They completely removed two old HVAC systems. This included all duct work, trunk line, everything. The removal of the old and the install of the new system required them to work under my house in a confined crawl space for four days. They were on time every day, very professional, kept me informed and completed every task we had agreed upon. This was the second time I have used Carolina Comfort Air, they installed one of my smaller HVAC systems last summer, top-shelf outfit all the way.

Quinton and James came this morning to replace a coil with our system, let me tell you, these 2 were amazing. So professional yet personable. First Caleb is very good at what he does to help people get want they want and need. He bends over backwards to help the customer! When the work started they would text to let us know on the way, technician Steven, Caleb and supervisor Jordan were the more courteous, professional and understanding, I say that cause our dog bark at them once and awhile, they told us when they were leaving and cleaned up everything it’s like they were never here . I will definitely recommend Carolina comfort Air to everybody, and you would especially lucky to get these guys!!

We had 3 techs come to our home….this review is regarding the third tech.When the tech arrived he politely introduced himself and got straight to work.During his time at my home he was always professional and well mannered.He had to deal with an issue that took time and experience to repair. At one point he needed certain tools that he didn’t have. He wasn’t afraid to ask my husband if we had them, which he did. This tech work diligently and got our AC up and running.As a trading tool, and not a criticism initial diagnosis of our problem we feel with a little extra time on the job may have resulted in a better end time.

Working with Carolina Comfort Air was great. Our AC went out in the middle of the summer and they got back to me immediately and scheduled a time to come out. Our technician, James, was very professional and respectful and he identified and repaired the issue quickly.

Robert was extremely professional and knowledgeable. He didnt just look at my heat pump, he did a diagnostic of my entire HVAC system. He was crawling around the unit outside, up in my ceiling checking systems and inspecting my vents. He identified 2 problems that he immediately fixed at a very good price. My house was cooling within an hour. I will definitely recommend Carolina Confort Air to anyone who asks.

We had just closed on our newly remodeled house and we’re in the process of moving in when our AC unit froze and stopped blowing cold air! Being 80° outside, we were in a panic to get someone out ASAP, and Carolina Comfort Sent someone out right away! We did have to pay an after hours fee, but worth it because he was able to solve the issue and repair it with replacement parts he had on the truck ready to go same day! Our Technician was professional and honest with us about the life span of our unit and was able to save us money in the end! Very good service 10/10 would recommend and would call again if problems occur with our systems again. Steven Pickering was a fantastic Technician and we were so grateful he was able to fix our AC! I would like to take the time to Inform my fellow consumers on the Excellent customer service that Carolina comfort air performed on my home. For the most part any company can go into your home and install something new with little effort or troubles and walk out with that product working. The really difficult and testament to any company comes after the installation process is completed. In today’s day and age it could be argued that most companies mostly care about their profit margin‘s as well as their investors leaving the actual customer that is paying for the companies service in a helpless situation which often ends up costing the customer additional expenses that were not part of the initial budget. I can confidently Say I Luis am a witness that Carolina comfort air is not one of these companies. After installation like many things there was a problem with the unit that did not appear until 4 to 5 months afterwards the problem was so small that depending on the circumstances on the temperature outside and inside My home it was barely noticeable. But I am a retired United States Marine so I am home all day and any slight temperature difference I quickly can feel because of this. The problem was arguably such a small component When comparing it to the entire HVAC system. It took a couple weeks To pinpoint this Component which was the humidity sensor, Which was defective from the factory. Throughout the process of getting this fixed which took some back-and-forth I was never treated as if the problem was only in my head, meaning they were quick to acknowledge that there was a problem even if they couldn’t find it on the first go around and they didn’t give up. Ultimately it took a supervisor by the name of Steve to come to my home and locate the faulty component. Leading up to this I obviously had to make several phone calls to report the status of the unit as well as my complaints which I was very fortunate in speaking with a woman by the name of Tina who treated me with absolute respect as well as genuine concern and care for my complaints with the unit. If there’s anything to take out of this Review is yes you could get work done on your home for less but the level of follow up and customer satisfaction that this company provided is absolutely priceless, in a world where everybody is just trying to make a quick dollar. I absolutely Recommend this company to everybody that needs anything from just simple maintenance or a full installation of your HVAC system like I did you will get your moneys worth tenfold.

Eugene and Stacy installed a new Trane split heat pump unit to replace the 10 year old system at my home. They arrived promptly and were very professional the entire time. My home has a new roof after Florence and the roof installers left a mess of the air handler wiring in the attic. Eugene and Stacy replaced it and ensured that the new unit was wired neatly and safely. They were courteous to my wife and I, answering all our questions. I also appreciate the clean job site they left. Definitely would recommend this service to friends and family.

The 2 gentleman that came out to assess a condensation issue were so professional, thorough, and informative. They spent time to ensure they found cause of problem and subsequent repairs required . They then checked every vent I house for airflow and adjusted ducts for even heating and cooling all rooms.

I had HVAC maintenance done at my Home 19 MAR 2021, with Quinton Gill as the technician. He was courteous and Professional. Quinton ran into some issues but he continued to persevere through issues. Quinton was smart enough to call for backup. Technician Jeffrey Palese came on the scene. He was also courteous and Professional. Jeffrey reassured Quinton efforts in solving the problem. Jeffrey then took charge and commenced to train Quinton and they tag team the situation, I appreciate both Quintons and Jeffreys can do attitude and professionalism!!Note: I found my check that I gave to Quinton for payment of services, in the grass in my yard today 20 March 2021. I am Glad that I found it and that it did not end up in someone else hands. That would of been problematic

After a shaky start with this company, CCA made things right with their professionalism and understanding. The sales experience was straightforward and Caleb answered all my questions and explained everything in detail. Dylan and his team did an outstanding job on the install and the job site inspector, Jordan, was courteous and professional when he was here checking on the installation. Overall a happy experience.

2nd times in less than 3 weeks they had to comer back to repair what was NOT completed or discussed on first visit. We were told $100 house visit. Repair guy was here less than 20 mins and charged me $259. I questioned that quote and he said that was after discount ! But nothing was done! he said maybe something got caught in unit but again NOTHING was done or a follow up phone call.Visit 2 great guy John tells me I have a defective device ? Huh? Unit is 3yrs young and installed by this same company. Again their standard total $259 I said NO! You were just here and that was to be $100. I know he is just middle man but this company knows how to get you in the pocket. John calls company they reduce the rate “won’t charge me for part only labor” I will never use again and definitely WONT RECOMMEND to any one ....BEWARE!!!

Once we decided on which plan worked for us, Alexis and Roland helped us get our new system with 0% interest financing. Then they had our equipment ordered, our permits filed and they were starting the installation within a couple of days.. Dylan and Preston were the installers for our home and they were also amazing! I was kept informed throughout the entire process and I appreciate that Roland and Jordan (the project manager) stopped by to see how things were going. The weather was in the 20s at night so Dylan and Preston did their best to have our new system up and running as quickly as possible. They even ensured that we had auxiliary heat at nighttime so we wouldnt turn into human Popsicles. I cannot express how happy I am that we chose Carolina Comfort Air for all of our HVAC services. Just moved to a new home with new AC. It wasnt working properly, so called Carolina Comfort Air in Jacksonville. They worked me in and Greyson showed up around 4pm. He went over everything and found it was some adjustment with the thermostat After that was fixed he readjusted the room flows. He stayed to get the job done on a Friday evening when most people would be trying to get home He was very professional and kind. He went the extra mile and lent me a screwdriver & measuring tape so I could get a couple of things done while he was fixing my AC. Loved him. 5 stars from me.

Anthony came to my house and figured out why the HVAC was not working within minutes. It was the electric box not the HVAC. He recommend the box be repaired ASAP, which I did. I am thankful he showed up before our house burned down. The HVAC is working great now.

They’ve provided us with a window AC unit while we’re pending new parts. Both Anthony and Brandon were very professional, polite, and proficient in their field. He was an excellent worker and did the job quickly and well. His advice was taken and used to order new filters. Hes welcome in my house for the next session. Caleb was very responsive and helpful. The install required one follow up so far but it was fast and Brandon was very helpful.

Lance showed up on-time and tuned-up our system as part of our bi-annual maintenance agreement. He contacted us the night before to confirm, reached out in the morning to say he was on his way. In addition to the standard maintenance, he looked over the non-CC thermostats, provided recommendations on proper auto settings since they are not the smart ones, and gave a thorough review of the current condition and any suggestions for improvements.

Carolina Comfort Air has been a good company to us for years. They work with us to set-up a good appointment time, notify when and who the technician will be coming to our house, the technician himself will call to let us know when he will be arriving at our door. Yesterday was our annual spring check-up and Anthony Rowcliffe was our technician. He was wounderful. He was professional, kind, and courteous. He checked our system out, took pictures to show us some issues that were happening, and explained why they were happening. Any questions we had, he answered; he also gave helpful suggestions.

We called them out on a weekend when our AC stopped blowing and when they came out they couldn’t find anything wrong with it and suggested it just needed a cleaning. So we paid 400$ just for it to stop working the next day. Another person came out and still couldn’t find anything wrong with it and suggested they replace the control panel (another 400$). So we agreed as we were desperate to get AC with three large dogs in the house. It worked half the time until finally yesterday it quit again with the same issues. This time they did not answer their phones and we had to call another company out. This company fixed the issue within 30 minutes and said it was a capacitor the whole time. I feel scammed out of money and feel this company does not care about anything but that. Highly dissatisfied and will never recommend to anyone.

We woke up Saturday and the thermostat read 61 degrees. We Called Carolina Comfort and Jeff arrives at 11:00 a.m. Our neighbors s recommended your company. Jeff was very professional and got right to work. He was very thorough, and after inspecting all aspects pf our system, was able to fix the issue, heat strips. We were very pleased with his service. He explained our heating system to us, quite different from New England. We are going to sign up for the New Performance Yearly Plan.

EXPENSIVE!! I understand the $160 after hours service fee but almost $600 to tell me my drainpipe was clogged and vacuum it out? That is ridiculous!! I took my shop vac out there and vacuumed it out myself in 3 minutes. Other than being waaay over priced and the repair technician telling me where I can and cant store things in my own attic, he was generally nice. Definitely going to call around next time to find cheaper.

We had to make an emergency call to get our HVAC fixed once we moved into our new house. Since it was a Sunday we didn’t expect service until Monday. However, Jeffrey Palese arrived very quickly after our call and reminded the problem and gave us peace of mind that we wouldn’t be sweating until the work week. Thank you!

Extremely knowledgeable, thorough, honest and fair. My tech had quoted me based for 2 repairs that my system needed (after a thorough 90 minute system check). I had agreed to pay for both repairs. When he finished, he informed me that fixing the 1st issue, solved both problems and I did not need the 2nd repair. He could easily have just done the repair anyway and charged me to make $500 more but he did not. They had to come out a week later for another small issue but did not charge me for another house call fee. Very satisfied with their service and I will likely use then when its time to replace my whole system.

Incredibly positive experience. Lance gave me a call when he was close, and arrived right on time. He was masked, and was more than willing to explain what he was doing. I had some questions about things I could possibly do to extend the life of my HVAC system, and after telling me what I could do he took the time to show me how to do those things. There was a strange sound coming from one of the mechanical parts of my system. Lance explained what was making it, gave me a thorough explanation of why it mattered and gave me my options for fixing it. I didnt feel any pressure to spend money prematurely, but after hearing my options it made sense to replace it before it failed. I invested in a preventative maintenance plan because we learned the hard way how inconvenient and expensive it is to have a system failure, and I am more convinced than ever that it was a smart investment. Getting help from people as professional, knowledgeable and patient (I asked a lot of questions) as Lance made this a very positive experience.

Worked with Caleb, Dylan, Jack and Justin. These guys were very professional the entire time. They came in did a thorough check and explained everything to me. My home had multiple ACs installed but the real problem was never addressed nor did anyone bother to tell me what the problem was. There two other companies that did very costly repairs that solved nothing and would say they would be back only not to show. The team showed me pics of what was I had in comparison to what I needed. There was so much wrong with my home HVAC/AC system that it needed to be completely replaced. They showed up on the day promised and worked until completion, they cleaned up each day and gave me estimates as to when it would be completed along the way.

We had our unit after 24 years replaced by this company a year ago. They were the cheapest, high Google rated company that I contacted. I contacted 5 ac businesses.They were professional, courteous and friendly. After a year,, my thermostat started acting up on a Saturday. Called them on Sunday at 4pm, a technician was at my house Monday 930am! Awesome. Brandon was very nice and professional. He replaced the thermostat (it was still under warranty) and we are back to normal. Great job. Would HIGHLY RECOMMEND this company.

I had technician Roland Brown and he was very professional for the days he had worked at my house. He was able to get my unite up and running on the second day, this was ahead of schedule because the mind set he had was spot on. working throw the high heat in my addict he pushed forward. I had to force them to stop for a lunch break, as I cooked up some BBQ chicken and some refreshing Gatorade.keep up the good work.

Worker came and said I had the dirtiest coils hes seen and my ac would fail soon. After he left I inspected the unit my coils where easily vaccumed of dust and the underside was even still shiny metal. Then a day after his visit my ac shorted out throwing sparks from where he was working. All I can think is this was pure sabatoge.

Caleb had gotten us a quote in a very timely manner as well. Then the time came for install day. Dylan and two others came and were amazing they got the old unit out and the new one in around dinner time. Now we feel like we are in a brand new home. Our heat when out on one of the coldest nights of 2020. I called Carolina Comfort Air and the lady on the phone was very friendly and had a technician out to my house that afternoon. Anthony Rowcliffe was our technician and he was very polite and extremely professional. He was able to repair my system in a timely manner. He kept me informed of what he was repairing and explained the cost of the repairs upfront so there were no surprises.

Lance was early, courteous, knowledgable and professional. Lance answered all my questions. Most importantly Lance was a good listener. I was very happy to leave Lance and Carolina Comfort Air a good review.

Very professional and very courteous. Always explain any repairs that are needed and even go as far as advising if it is an immediate repair or just a suggested repair. Never try to sell or perform any repair that’s not needed. Wouldn’t trust anyone else to service my HVAC system.

We contacted Carolina Comfort Air after not having a working unit for our downstairs for three summers. We figured it was time to take the plunge. We couldn’t have gotten luckier than to choose Carolina Comfort Air to install new units for both the downstairs and upstairs. Caleb Resendiz was our initial contact and worked out all the details of purchasing two new Trane systems. Caleb was a rockstar with making sure we got what we needed at the right price and worked out any details we had where financing was needed. The four day job was actually handled in three days by Steven Skillman and his assistant Caleb. Their supervisor Jordan also stopped by to check on the work and answer any questions we might have had. I believe Jason Davis was also involved. All of these people worked together to give us a highly efficient and quick install. They worked through some of the hottest days we had experienced recently. They made sure we understood the new system and showed us how to operate it on our mobile devices. This company and the people who work for it gave us exactly what we needed with speed, efficiency, and professionalism. I will be recommending them to anyone I know who needs repair or a new installation. We could not be happier.

I called and was able to get a technician the same day which I was pleased with! Brandon Cantwell was our technician and he was very nice and polite and got our system running quickly!

As it probably usually happens, AC went out on a 92 degree day (& a Saturday, of course). Called & the rep was very courteous & set us up the same day. Jefferey was our tech, he was very knowledgeable, professional, & thorough. He identified the problem in about 2 seconds after removing the panel from the unit. He was able to fix it immediately, but continued his assessment after the repair; very thorough. Jeffrey is a great guy as well. He was a life saver for us (or at minimum a discomfort-saver). Called to setup for some one to check my heat, was able to get an appt same day. The gentlemen was polite, professional the whole time, as well as answered question i was asking relating to maintaining my system. they have never let me down when i needed them.

After 2 years of problem after problem it appears that our issues with this brand new $15,000 dollar unit may finally be solved (Not betting on it). With that the last of many gentleman that have visited our home, Robert Atkins was by far the most courteous and professional gentleman. Upon arrival through completion and his departure, he was nothing but polite, courteous, professional and well spoken in his explanations. I hope that I dont have to deal with Carolina Comfort for some time, but if I do I will undoubtable request the services of Robert Atkins.

Jeff CCA Service tech out of Jacksonville did an exceptional job. Jeff installed a new thermostat, set it up on WiF, and walked us step by step on the use and features. Jeff also did a system check and found an issue, he replaced the part to prevent a future failure. CCA and Jeff are highly recommend.

Robert Adkins is the best. He is professional, polite, patient, and detailed. he takes the time to explain things so you can understand. Carolina Comfort Air has an outstanding staff at every level and it shows in their customer service. Ive had multiple issues and they have addressed all of them. Since I have an older unit they take the time to monitor the performance of my unit. They make you feel that you are important to them.

Carolina Comfort Air installed our HVAC system 2.5 years ago. They also provide our semi-annual system check and routine maintenance. Lance arrived right on time and was professional. He wore a mask (for COVID) and booties to protect the floors. We recommend using CCA for any HVAC needs.
